Moosavi says Quetta incident a conspiracy to harm ATA calling govt claims Spider’s Web

RAWALPINDI, March 06: Chief of the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that Quetta incident could be linked with Pakistan’s joining the war against terrorism so as to sabotage the Anti-Terrorism Act.

He stated this while addressing the office-bearers of Central Muharram Committee (Azadari Cell) of the Tehreek who called on him at the head of its Convener Syed Shujaat Ali Bokhari, here on Saturday. He said the oppressed people and the Islamic World are not only confronted with one problem or the other at present but everyone is confronted with an unknown fear.

In these circumstances, he added, Youm-e-Ashoora was confronted with heinous incidents in Karbala, Kazmain, and Quetta on which everyone is grieved while all world States have expressed their grief and strongly condemned these incidents. He said these incidents are definitely a continuation of heinous conspiracy of our combined enemy that is continuing for quite long. He said the gory assassins who showered bullets on unarmed Matamdaran (Hussaini mourners) in Quetta could be seen in the backdrop of a poet, who says:

Agha Moosavi said we had invited the government attention towards improving the law and order situation in the country but the government did not set up Control Rooms at Federal and Provincial level to resolve the possible Azadari problems. He said all government spokesmen, however, had claimed that they have not only completed all arrangements but have also alerted the relevant sensitive agencies but their claims proved Spider’s Web.

He said the Federal Interior Minister says that 100 per cent protective arrangements and steps are not possible for any government. He said the Quetta incident is not a result of merely poor arrangements but it is a big failure on the part of the government for which all those agencies and officials that are responsible for maintaining peace are to be blamed.

The TNFJ chief said the realities coming to surface in the backdrop of Quetta incident suggest that these incidents were planted so as to divert the attention of the people from real issues and reap the required benefits in the backdrop of riot and arson. Moreover, he said, it has been revealed that the terrorists were wearing police uniform and some officials of ATF and Frontier Corps were found involved in firing. He said it would have to be accepted that whether the incident took place itself or it had been planted or it happened in collusion with someone, provides food for thought.

He said the resolve of the President and other government representatives not to reconcile with terrorists and their patrons could only be fulfilled when enquiry report of previous two incidents that took place in Quetta is made public in toto, and the nominated judge of the Balochistan High Court conducts an open probe into the Youm-e-Ashoor incident and that is only possible when the Administration posted on the occasion is kept away from investigation so that they could not misuse their authority in the process, results of the enquiry are made public, the witnesses are assured that they will be protected, the government makes effective measures to ensure law and order and to remove the atmosphere of fear and harassment, holding of Majalis and Matmi processions in Quetta is facilitated, concrete steps are made to organize all programs amicably, there is no repetition of tragic incidents, people await for the report about investigation into the Quetta incident, and avoid taking all those steps that may create hurdle in doing so.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Moosavi said we issue Code of Azadari before Muharram every year so as to disseminate love and brotherhood and all countrymen commemorate the grief of Nawasa-e-Rasool (A.S.) with unison but making foolproof protective measures is the responsibility of the government.

He said the powers that be, should give up the policy of keeping a distance from religious and political parties and the people. He said government’s appeal to religious leaders and intelligentsia could only succeed when Muharram Cells are set up at government level, the Administration is directed to cooperate with people, and sensitive agencies are directed to keep a strict eye on CIA, Mosad, and other foreign agencies so that they could not play any game here.

He assured the President, Gen. Pervez Musharraf that Central Muharram Committee of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan is ever ready to cooperate in any step taken by him in the larger interest of Islam, Pakistan and its people and for maintaining peace.

No storm of Taghoot can down flag of Hussainiyat, Secretary Information

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan – March 05: Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan Central Secretary Information Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi has said that despite blood-dyed Ashura Day in Karbala Moalla, Kazmain Sharifain and Quetta, practical display of exemplary shia-sunni unity is a proof of this that no storm of Taghoot can down the flag of Hussainiyat.

He was addressing a Majlis-e-Aza marking the Soyem of Shuhada-e-Karbala (3rd day after the martyrdom of Karbala Martyrs) organized by TNFJ, Mukhtar Force and Mukhtar Students Organization at Central Imambargah Ali Chak.

Zaidi severely condemned the bomb attacks and firing on Ashura processions in Iraq and Quetta terming it anti-humanity act and demanded from the government to arrest the culprits forthwith.

He further demanded from the government immediate formation of Azadari Muharram Cells (Control Rooms) on Federal and Provincial level including Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas, and that their contact numbers be publicized through media and these should be directed to keep in touch with TNFJ Central Muharram Committee in order to solve possible problems of Azadaran.

Zakir Ghulam Abbas Shadiwal, Allama Asghar Ruhani and others also addressed. Later, a Zuljinah procession was taken out which after passing through the residence of Bawa Akbar Shah culminated at the Imambargah.

Mukhtar Generation and Ibrahim Scouts had made arrangements for medical camp and Sabeel-e-Hussaini to facilitate Azadaran.

Shah criticizes govt, flays Muslim rulers for bringing up colonial conspiracies

RAWALPINDI, March 04: Syed Mazhar Ali Shah Advocate, Secretary General of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said that repeated incidents of terrorism in the home province of Prime Minister after induction of Jamali government provide food for thought that how could a person who could not keep peace in his own province, would be able to restore peace in the whole country.

He said peace could not be restored merely by spreading barbed wire, posting “nakaas” rather it creates more hurdles in way of restoring peace. Unless cooperation of religious and political parties representing the nation is not sought, the dream to restore peace could not come true, he added.

Addressing an emergent meeting of central office-bearers of the TNFJ here on Thursday, he said TNFJ went all out in offering all possible cooperation for solution of problems of Azadaran and for making fool-proof arrangements for Azadari but he lamented that the government has not yet formed Muharram Azadari Cells, avoided meeting Tehreek delegation and did not even reply letters sent to them in this connection. This offer for cooperation is still valid, he added.

He said on one hand, Jamali government is following the “avoid people” policy while lower level Administration was in collusion with the restricted organisations that is tantamount to a well thought-out conspiracy to sabotage the historic Anti-Terrorism Act introduced by President Pervez Musharraf. He said if the government keeps religion and motherland dear to her then we keep the same dearer than that otherwise we would not have directed all Ashoora processions to their peaceful destinations as they could have been directed towards some other places, this sensible act of us is the biggest example of our love for peace.

Syed Mazhar Ali Shah said the restricted organisations were using all tactics to shine their politics on dead bodies and we would like to warn them that if they desire to do politics then they should wear the political outfit as their undesired activities have left mosques and Imambargahs unsafe all over the country.

He said every school of thought could thwart conspiracies against the nation and the country through consensus and unity but the real responsibility for the same lay on the government as they have the power to enforce, but unfortunately, the government has failed in fulfilling her responsibility. He said judicial commission has been formed to probe the Quetta incident but who would provide the guarantee that report of that commission would be implemented? Because, he added, many probe commissions were formed earlier against many terrorist acts including the one against worshippers of Quetta Imambargah Kalan but neither any report was made public so far nor recommendations of these commissions were implemented.

He said impression that Pakistan is a sectarian State is baseless, as war of a few groups that are dancing to the foreign tunes could not be called sectarianism rather it is the war of stomach and aid. Sunnis and Shias are united from Assemblies and Senate to school and college level in Pakistan and there is no discrimination or division between them.

He said best friend is the one who informs his friends about his drawbacks. Therefore, we strongly demand from the Jamali government to come out of this shackle, for God sake, implement the Anti-Terrorism Act introduced by President Pervez Musharraf in letter and spirit, make a contact with the real representatives of people, set up Muharram Azadari Cells for solution of problems faced by Azadaran and publicise the same through media, take notice of the patronage of the lower echelons of Administration to restricted organisations, and follow the Code of Azadari announced by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya in letter and spirit.

Syed Mazhar Ali Shah appealed the Millat-i-Jafariya to remain peaceful and give priority to Azadari over all other things. He said there is no doubt that Ashoor Day terrorism in Karbala, Kazmain, and Quetta was the result of international conspiracy hatched by America and her agents but the weak policies of Muslim rulers, who are pleased in keeping a distance from the people and on American pleasure, also played a basic role in promoting these conspiracies.

He said no person even with a bit of humanity could play such a heinous game. He opined that objective of Iraqi incidents is to provide justification for American presence in Iraq for a longer period but Sunni and Shia people of Iraq have unveiled this conspiracy. He said despite illegal occupation of Iraq, it was the duty of American administration to keep peace in Iraq and the occupation forces failed miserably in doing so.

He lamented that even stretchers were not available in Iraqi cities to shift the injured and martyrs from the site of terrorism that falsifies American claims to change the destiny of Iraq.

Paying homage to those who kissed martyrdom in Karbala and Quetta, he said Muslim is not afraid of death as death for religion and motherland is martyrdom that is our inheritance. He said these martyrs have provided room for development of Islam by creating another Karbala and have given a new lease of life to ongoing movements for an end of occupation of allied forces in Iraq, solidarity of Pakistan, and protection of ideology because, he added, martyrdom of Imam Hussain (A.S.) is in fact death of Yazid and Islam becomes alive after every Karbala.

Mourning for Ashura Day martyrs after Ayyam-e-Aza, Bokhari

RAWALPINDI: Syed Shujaat Ali Bokhari, Convener of the Central Muharram Committee (Azadari Cell) of the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, has appreciated the spirit of brotherhood and mutual understanding displayed by all schools of thought on Ashura Day.

In a statement issued here from the Central Control Room of the Muharram Committee, he said we will continue proving on every forum and occasion that shia and sunni are brethren and any one who would try to create any dissension among them is neither shia nor sunni but the enemy of Islam and Pakistan.

He said Azadari of Imam-e-Mazloom (as) is an eternal and universal protest of oppressed against dictators and oppressors, any oppressor how big howsoever he is could not stop it. Anyone who would stand against Hussainiyat will be shattered.

While paying tributes to the azadaran who became victim of terrorism in Quetta and other places on Ashura Day, Bokhari said: May we and our riches ransom hussainiyat! Grief of Imam Hussain (as) is greater than any other grief which would be continuously observed till 8th of Rabiul Awwal with same fervor. Those who have been killed in this way, their grief will be observed after Ayyam-e-Aza, he said adding that any call for any other protest and grief during Ayyam-e-aza is tantamount to creating hurdles in Azadari, and a heinous conspiracy against this great mission.

He said we are progeny of brave men and gentlemen, therefore, if the govt is desirous to make Pakistan a land of peace then it should make sure implementation of 19-point code of azadari issued by Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi.

Meanwhile, Bokhari has summoned an emergent meeting of TNFJ Central Muharram Committee.
