TNFJ raises concern on evidences of funding from three countries in the Tarlai mosque suicide attack

Islamabad, May 01, 2026: Commenting on the news regarding fresh evidence obtained during the investigation by law enforcement agencies into the suicide terrorist attack at Masjid Qasr Khadija al-Kubra in Tarlai, Islamabad, the Central Secretary for Public Relations of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafaria Pakistan, Syed Hassan Kazmi has stated that reports of facilitation and funding from three countries in the Tarlai mosque suicide attack are a matter of serious concern and reflection.

He said that all enemies of beloved motherland Pakistan who are working against its progress and stability must be exposed. Those entering into strategic and joint defense agreements with Pakistan’s eternal enemy, India, cannot be considered trustworthy.

TNFJ has, since the 1990s, been demanding to stop foreign funding and effective diplomatic protests against the countries responsible. For counterterrorism, implementation of the 12th point of the “Moosavi Peace Formula” and the 4th point of the revised National Action Plan is essential, as both call for stopping foreign funding and enforcing a practical ban on proscribed groups.

Banned terrorist organizations act as local facilitators for the malicious objectives of foreign agencies. The ties of rulers and politicians with such banned groups are equivalent to rubbing salt into the wounds of victims of terrorism. Declaring groups banned by the Ministry of Interior eligible to participate in elections is a mockery of the state and the nation, and undermines the long-standing commitment to peace and stability.

He added that areas where banned groups are politically active tend to have a more fragile situation in terms of peace and unity.

Hassan Kazmi further said that those who support the recommendations of the Moosavi Peace Formula, presented by Qaed-e-Millat-e-Jafaria Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, continue to demand implementation of the Anti-Terrorism Act and National Action Plan in their true spirit. This has also been described by the head of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafaria, Agha Syed Hussain Muqaddasi, as the only way to completely eradicate terrorism and establish lasting peace.
