Agha Moosavi pointed out
that at present whole Islamic world is a target of terrorists and our
paramount problems are Kashmir and Palestine for which liberation people of
Palestine and Kashmir have been sacrificing their lives for more than a
half-century. He said colonial powers which have used all their tactics and
have kept the sanctity of humanity being ruined by more than 7 lakh Indian
beast Army in held Kashmir and India has declared amnesty for them despite
being convicted. Like wise Sharon has also been given free hand in Palestine
of massacre. But whole world has viewed that despite crossing the limits of
oppression India and Israel couldn’t bow and drive the Palestinians and
Kashmiri freedom fighters back from their mission. Rather these two issues
are at the top of world agenda. Palestinians and Kashmiris are calling out
the modesty of entire human world.

He said either it is a
murder of Abu Mustafa in palestine or martyrdom of Kashmiris commanders in
Kashmir, is open terrorism and barbarity. We strongly denounce it. He said
incidents of dacoities, blasts and killings in all Muslim states generally
and in Pakistan particularly either it is the Murder of Iqrar Hussain in
Karachi or of DSP Kausar Abbas in Bahawalpur, are continuity of already
continued terrorism. He said indication from the side of military leadership
for the implementation of ordinance with regard to religion madaris and
statements to stop from Jehad are a part of US new world order, preface of
which is to destabilize Pakistan and so ‘strike at the root of trouble’.
He made it clear that seeking knowledge is obligatory on every Muslim (men
and women) and most important is that knowledge on which depends ‘hereafter’.
But Government’s saying it wants to introduce modern syllabus in all
religious madaris. Our question is would the syllabus of madaris also be
taught in worldly educational institutions? If this would not be so then
why? Agha Moosavi affirmed Islam is the basic ideology of Pakistan so it is
necessary that each Pakistani would be acquainted with religious Sciences.

He said it is concerning to target religious madaris,
Rulers should keep in mind Islam is very dear to us thus we prefer the
interests of Muslim ummah upon all. So ulema are duty bound to discourage
all types of biases in order to fail heinous conspiracy of colonial powers
to them ‘Extremists’, ‘radicals’ and ‘conservatives’ and prove
through their character and deeds that we are one and an iron wall against
the enemies of Islam and Pakistan. Agha Moosavi while denouncing the
atrocities against Palestinians and Kashmiris has fervently appealed to the
Muslims rulers not to be silly and convene immediately emergency meeting of
OIC that makes a joint strategy by taking notice of atrocities against
Muslim ummah otherwise be ready for more sufferings.

On this occasion Quran Khoani was arranged and Majalis-e-Taraheem were held in religious
madaris, mosques and Imambargahs.

Agha Moosavi, speaking to a Majlis-e- Tarheem, appreciated the religious
and national services of late Allama Mufti Jafer Hussain. He remarked that
TNFJ has been struggling for the promotion of Muhammad-o-Aal-e-Muhammad’s
mission, integrity, stability and protection of faith and motherland with
sincerity and firmness.

He reiterated not to let any one to bargain Aaqa’id-e-Haqqa and
religious rights of Millat-e-Jafariya. He demanded from the Govt the
immediate implementation of July 6, 1980, and May 21, 1985 agreements.

He said in the letter military leadership came into power at a time when country was declining economically, politically and religiously and was in the grip of terrorism. He expressed his concern that terrorism has increased during last three decades; mosques, Imambargahs and madaris have been converted to places of execution, which created fear, disturbance and impatience in the society. With great difficulty, president of Pakistan not only issued anti-terrorism ordinance this year on August 14 but also pointed out the terrorists and warned them as well as announced the effective measures. Secretary general of TNFJ said, according to interior minister one lakh and a quarter weapons were seized; more than ten thousand criminals were arrested and it was admitted that there were about 350 terrorists; courts also started proceedings. Despite this incidents of blasts and killing prominent figures are in continuance. He also condemned the murder of Iqrar Hussain in sindh, DSP Kausar Abbas in Punjab and Abid Abbas Naqvi in Baluchistan. He termed these killings as an open act of terrorism and an open challenge of terrorists for military leadership through which they (terrorist) are conveying the message the whole country is at their target and they are free to commit any crime at any place and time.

He said there are some forces in the country, which want disruption of country and nation, and do not want its integrity -obviously these are anti-Islam and Pakistan. He said this statement being published in an international paper is worth noting that ‘U.S and India want to deal with Islamic Extremists’ as United States and India have same interests. It is a fact that those being given the name of ‘Islamic extremists’ are colonial agents. Because there is no violence, conservatism and extremism in Islam rather it is a religion of unity, fraternity, peace and harmony. The top most objective of colonial powers is to defame Pakistan thus declare it terrorist state. But we have vowed for the integrity of faith and county.

He quoted the oft-repeated stand of Agha Moosavi that there is no maslaki and maktabi conflict in Pakistan all schools of thought are respectable and sanctity of faith and state is very dear to us. Secretary General of TNFJ Syed Mazhar Ali Shah advocate demanded from the govt. to speed up its measures for rooting out terrorism as we are here because of our motherland.
