Organisers of Majalis, caretakers of Imambargahs and licence holders of
Matmi processions presented their suggestions and discussed Azadari problems
in detail.

Al-Haj Ghulam Murtaza Chauhan in his address on the occasion said, the
importance, honour and dignity of Muharram is recognised by all Muslims
rather non-Muslims also love the Imam Aali Muqaam (A.S.) because he provided
eternal protection to high values of humanity through his and his near and
dear ones’ sacrifices in Karbala.

He declared that Ahle Tashayyo of District Rawalpindi are lucky as the
Quaid-i-Millat -i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi resides in their
district and real Sunni-Shia brotherhood is restored owing to his
far-sighted leadership and spiritual decisions and policies.

He said President of Pakistan, Gen. Pervez Musharraf has taken a
courageous step of imposing restrictions to root out terrorism from the
country and issued Anti-Terrorism Ordinance keeping the Moosavi Peace
Formula in view.

He demanded from the government to take strict notice of the activities
of restricted groups that were operating changing their names so as to
effectively implement the Anti-Terrorism Act. He said their accounts should
be get checked through National Accountability Bureau (NAB) while protest
should be lodged with those foreign States on diplomatic level who provide
aid to them.

Welcoming the suggestions of organisers of Majalis, Azadars and licence
holders of Matmi processions, he assured them to get their problems resolved
in collaboration with the District Administration.

A resolution unanimously adopted by the participants of the meeting made
it clear that as Muharram is commensurate with the Azadari of
Syed-ush-Shuhada, therefore, no one would be allowed to politicise the
Azadari programmes. The resolution called upon the Azadars to give “Pursa”
to Mazloom-e-Karbala (A.S.) with full satisfaction and ease and keep a
strict eye on miscreants.

The resolution reiterated that Azadaran-e-Hussain from Rawalpindi
District would follow the policy of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Moosavi
in Muharram. The resolution strongly condemned bomb blasts carried out in an
Imambargah in Gilgit and demanded immediate arrest and strict action against
the culprits.

Another resolution while expressing deep sorrow over heavy loss of life
in train incidents in Mashad in Iran offered Fateha for the departed souls.

TSAM announces
observation of 3-day Ayyam Istaqbal-e-Muharram

ISLAMABAD, February 18: Tanzeem Shia A’aimma Masajid Pakistan has announced
to observe 3-day Ayyam Istaqbal-e-Muharram from February 19-21. The decision to
this effect was taken at a meeting of the high command of the Tanzeem presided
over by its Chairman Hojjatul Islam Allama Akhlaq Hussain Kazmi.

In his address on the occasion, Allama Kazmi said combined meetings of
Sunni-Shia schools of thought, conferences and seminars will be held
throughout the country while A’aimma Masajid in their Khutbaat to be
delivered at Friday congregations will stress the need of practical display
of mutual understanding and brotherhood so as to present tributes to the
Imam Aali Muqaam and his near and dear ones who laid down their lives and
offered exemplary sacrifice for religion and Shariat.

Allama Kazmi said that during the Istaqbal-e-Muharram programmes,
commitment would be announced that all Azadaran-e-Mazloom-e-Karbala would
follow the policy during Ayyam-e-Aza that will be announced by
Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi.

Giving his reaction on the Ulema and Mashaikh Conference organised by
Federal Information Ministry and the Ministry of Religious Affairs on
February 18 at Convention Centre Islamabad, he said the government should
keep it in her mind that such types of conferences could be a source of
satisfaction for themselves but the nation could not be satisfied by doing
this. The nation would be satisfied only when participation of
representative organisations of all recognised schools of thought is
ensured.

He made it clear that Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan is the
only representative organisation of Maktab-e-Tashayyo and none of its
representative was present in this conference. He said such few ministers
surround President Gen. Pervez Musharraf and advisers who always try to
satisfy him by giving “all is good” report to him.

He demanded from the President of Pakistan to investigate that which
powers were involved in inviting restricted organisation with new names and
with full protocol and keep the real representative organisation of Sunni
and Shia schools of thought away from the President of Pakistan. He declared
that the representative organisations of recognised schools of thought are
not only desirous of solidarity and development of the motherland but they
have always given priority to the interests of the nation and the country
over all other things.

Allama Kazmi said few ministers who have enclosed themselves in the
shackle of caste and party system were boasting in a manner as they have
internal links with the restricted groups and they were taking care of old
relations with them.

Jashan-e-Ghadeer-o-Mobahila: Maktab-e-Tashayyo rests on strong pillars

RAWALPINDI, February 17: Thousands of Shian-e-Haider Karrar who participated in the main annual gathering of Jashan-e-Ghadeer and Mobahila organised by Mukhtar Students Organisation Pakistan at Qadeemi Imambargah Rawalpindi as a part of Hafta-e-Wilayat reiterated their resolve not to allow anyone to reap political benefit from Muharram and Azadari because from Muharram 1 to Rabiul Awwal 8 are the Ayyam-e-Hussaini in which no interference would be accepted.

They expressed these views in a resolution adopted by them while raising vociferous slogans. The resolution said that Ahle Tashayyo from all over Pakistan would support any line of action given by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, in connection with the oncoming month of Muharramul Haram.

Another resolution declared that motherland Pakistan is not a sectarian but Islamic State but it is tragic that electronic media represents only a particular school of thought despite the fact that there are only two recognised schools of thought i.e. Sunni and Shia who live in Pakistan. The resolution said that Sehr and Iftar timings of both Fiqh-e-Hanafi and Fiqh-e-Jafariya are announced on the electronic media during the month of Ramazan but throughout the remaining year, beliefs of only one particular school of thought are disseminated so much so that when references of big books are given no reference is given about Kutab-e-Arba’a of the Maktab-e-Tashayyo or other big books e.g. Nehjul Balaghah importance of which is clearly known in the world of knowledge.

Similarly, Hazrat Ali (A.S.) is always mentioned as fourth caliph despite the fact that Maktab-e-Tashayyo considers them the first Imam. Likewise, Razi Allah Ta’alah Unho is used for Syed-us-Shuhada Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) who is placed at the level of Alaihiss-Salam in Maktab-e-Tashayyo.

The resolution called upon the government to give Maktab-e-Tashayyo equal right of ideological representation on Radio and Television because according to Article 2 of Pakistan’s Constitution official religion of the State is Islam that is commensurate with Sunnis and Shias. It was resolved that the media could only be transformed into an Islamic outline when all schools of thought could express their views independently.

Yet another resolution while strongly condemning to limit Radio and Television programmes to only Hamd-o-Na’at on the occasion of Muharramul Haram called upon the government that Muharramul Haram is attributed to Shuhada-e-Karbala, therefore Radio and Television should present programmes comprising Salam, Noha, Marsia, and talks about Shuhada-e-Karbala only.

Another resolution demanded from the powers at the helm of affairs at the Ministry of Education to stop giving schedule for University and Board exams during the Ayyam-e-Aza of Muharramul Haram. As motherland Pakistan is an Islamic State the educational curricula should be transformed keeping in view the Two Nation Theory, principles of Allama Iqbal and Quaid-i-Azam and the recognised schools of thought, and for this purpose all concerned should be taken into confidence because the international colonial powers were following the policy of interfering even in the education sector.

Yet another resolution made it clear that Hejab is the identity of Muslims but restriction is being imposed on it in France sending a wave of concern amongst the whole Muslim World. This step, it said, is interference in basic rights and extremism that is highly condemnable. Similarly, it said, Singapore, Germany and other States were also bent upon introducing restriction on use of Hejab, tightening noose around Muslims from all around while Muslims have restricted themselves into shackle and are always ready to accept every contention of the international colonial powers and their agents.

By another resolution, the participants while welcoming the government steps to root out terrorism demanded effective implementation of Anti-Terrorism Act. They called upon the government to take strict notice of restricted groups that are active with new names, like political parties check the financial returns of all restricted groups through NAB, and lodge protest on diplomatic level with States giving foreign aid to these groups. Another resolution called upon the electronic and print media to give proper coverage to programmes organised on the special days of Mashaheer-e-Islam.

Syed Bu Ali Mahdi, Chairman MSO presided over the first session of the Jashan-e-Ghadeer and Mobahila while Central President Haider Abbas Bajwa chaired the second session.

Allama Tajuddin Haideri, Central Vice-President of TNFJ in his address on the occasion said that the Maktab-e-Tashayyo rests on the strong pillars of Wilayat-e-Ali and Azadari. He said Ghadeer is the day of Takmil-e-Deen while Eid-e-Mobahila is the day of Youm-e-Fatah for Sadeqeen. He vowed not to allow any bargain on our basic beliefs and ideologies.

Others who also addressed the Jashan-e-Ghadeer and Mobahila gathering are: Central Secretary Information of TNFJ Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi, Zakir Syed Qamar Raza Naqvi, Zakir Sajid Ali Sajid, Zakir Karam Hussain Shah Hakimal, Zakir Ghulam Farid Jafar, Zakir Abdul Ghaffar Kausar, Zakir Qamar Mukhtar, MSO Pakistan’s Central President Haider Abbas Bajwa, Khateeb-e-Azadari Syed Naseer Hussain Sabzwari, Maulana Ijlal Haider Masoomi, Maulana Khurshid Haider Jawwadi, Qari Nawaz Haideri, Syed Jone Ali Mashadi, Sardar Mumtaz Ali Qazilbash, Bashir Hussain Niaz, poet Tanvir Haider, Malik Tayyab Hussain Tayyab, Tanveer Haider Shirazi, Mazahir Imran, Zakir Amjad Hussain Shah Kazmi, and Syed Wajihul Hassan Kazmi.

Shah condemns Gilgit Imambargah blast, demands tribunal formation

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Syed Mazhar Ali Shah Advocate, Secretary General Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan (TNFJ) on Tuesday while strongly condemning a bomb explosion in Gilgit imambargah has said this incident occurred at a time when Wilayat Week celebrations to mark the Eid-e-Ghadeer & Mubahila were continued across the country including Northern Areas.

In a statement issued here, Shah said that earlier TNFJ had drawn the attention of president, prime minister, federal interior minister, provincial administration including federal minister of Kashmir and Northern Areas affairs through letters towards taking effective measures for law and order situation. Had the administration made arrangements properly then this tragic incident would not have occurred.

Expressing his heartfelt sympathies with the victims, Mazhar Ali demanded the government to take action against inefficient officials in the sensitive area and set up a high level tribunal to bring out the real facts.

He lamented that since long people of Northern Areas are deprived of their basic rights, therefore their problems must be resolved.

TNFJ won’t let evil-thinkers to play heinous game in garb of corpses, trials

RAWALPINDI, February 16: Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has made it clear that all powers should keep in mind that those who think evil about the nation and the country would not be allowed to play any heinous game in the garb of dead bodies and trials while the whole nation would support the line of action regarding Muharram given by Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the TNFJ, the only representative organisation of Maktab-e-Tashayyo.

This was stated in a declaration issued after the conclusion of a meeting of chiefs of central departments of the Tehreek presided over by Secretary General Syed Mazhar Ali Shah Advocate.

Syed Mazhar Ali Shah Advocate, in his address on the occasion, expressed grave concern that the whole Islamic World was in the grip of international colonial powers and motherland Pakistan is its particular target. He said in these circumstances announcement of President Gen. Pervez Musharraf not to hand over any documents about nuclear proliferation to any world organisation, not to hand over atomic technology to any one including the United Nations and promise not to roll back the atomic power is a good omen. Therefore, the Muslim World should exercise wisdom, avoid committing sins, ponder over for the outcome, otherwise they would have to face the music.

A resolution unanimously adopted on the occasion called upon the powers that be to take all patriotic forces, religious and political powers on all sensitive issues including atomic power and take them along because these issues do not belong to any person, party or the government only but are the issues belonging to the whole nation. The resolution said that Pakistan is first that came into being on the basis of Two Nation Theory therefore it should be given priority over all other things because at present Pakistan is on the target of international colonial powers and our scientists are facing the music despite the fact that President of Pakistan has termed them heroes therefore their honour and dignity should be kept intact.

Another resolution said that motherland Pakistan is in the grip of terrorists and terrorism for quarter a century as a result of which mosques and Imambargahs have become the places of murder, and the country is rife with incidents of dacoity, blasts, murders and massacre owing to which first time in the history of Pakistan, President Gen. Pervez Musharraf issued Anti-Terrorist Ordinance that was later turned into Anti-Terrorism Act restricting terrorist groups but these restricted groups have cropped up again with new names owing to slackness and unnecessary relaxation to them and are now seen on big forums. They are highlighted by media, which could be turned into a dangerous game.

The resolution said the government is duty bound to take action against restricted groups working with new names while NAB should be directed to put its hand on elites belonging to these restricted groups who live in palatial houses and roam about in luxury vehicles. Their accounts should be subjected to audit, it said.

Expressing grave concern over presence of American troops in Iraq, another resolution said they have shattered peace in Iraq despite the fact that establishment of peace is the responsibility of the occupation forces. The resolution demanded from the United Nations to play her important role in Iraq so that Iraqis could live in peace.

The participants, by another resolution, strongly condemning continued Indian oppression in Held Kashmir demanded stoppage of massacre of innocent Kashmiris, and resolve the Kashmir issued in the light of the United Nations Resolutions keeping to the desire of Kashmiris.

Regarding the Pakistan-India dialogue, the resolution demanded that it should be kept in mind that dream of restoring peace could not come true without resolving the biggest conflict i.e. Kashmir issue. The resolution of Kashmir would not also turn the region into a hub of peace but would also thwart the conspiracies of international colonial powers.

Secretaries of central departments of the TNFJ also presented their respective reports in the meeting.

Mentioning of Divine Days & Signs highest source of nearness to Allah, Moosavi

RAWALPINDI, February 15: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said mentioning of Ayyam and Sha’a’ir-e-Ilahi (Divine Days and Signs) are the top most source of nearness to Allah and acme of felicity and subservience to Allah.

Addressing specially a Mehfil-e-Ghadeer and Mobahilah marking Hafta-e-Wilayat here on Sunday, he said 18 Zilhijj is the greatest day when the Paighambar-e-Islam (SAW) in his last address at Khum-e-Ghadeer had announced before Ashab-e-Kubaar and a large gathering of people after praising Allah that “Ali is the Maula of all those, I am the Maula of whom”. While announcing Wilayat-e-Ali he prayed to Allah to keep friend the one who keeps Ali (A.S.) his friend, and keep enmity with one who keeps enmity with Ali (A.S.). He said Hazrat Umar bin Khattab (R.A.) had presented his greetings to Ali saying: .

Agha Moosavi said Eid-e-Mobahila is the Sidrat-ul-Muntaha of Ilm-ul-Yaqeen, Ain-ul-Yaqeen, and Haq-ul-Yaqeen that is the great memorial of this great occasion when the Holy Prophet (SAW) took Ali (A.S.), Fatima (S.A.), and Hasnain (A.S.) with him and the Christian leaders recognised his truthfulness by saying that even the mountains would give way if these personalities indicate them to do so. He said this is the greatness of Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) to which even enemies also stand witness and that bowed down their enemies.

The TNFJ chief said Muslims the world over are under the obligation to get their issues and problems resolved by observing these pious days with respect and honour, but unfortunately they are observing Basant like Hindu festivals but were keeping a distance from Aal-e-Muhammad.

He said owing to the misdeeds of Muslims, the international colonial powers have made their life difficult and they were increasing their pressure on the Islamic World day-by-day and their demands are unending. He said at present, Pakistan is their particular target.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Moosavi said in the present critical situation, the promise made by President Gen. Pervez Musharraf not to hand over proliferation investigation papers to any foreign institution, not to hand over atomic technology to any one including the United Nations and even to roll it back is a good omen. Therefore, the Muslim World would exercise wisdom, avoid committing more sins, be concerned of the outcome, otherwise they should get ready to face the music, he added.

Programs of Hafta-e-Wilayat continue across the country

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Celebrations of Hafta-e-Wilayat, or Wilayat Week, continued on Saturday across the country on the call of Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan.

TNFJ stresses IAEA to keep US on top in action against N-proliferators

RAWALPINDI, February 13: Chief of the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said nuclear proliferation, interference in Kashmir, terrorism in Afghanistan and similar other accusations are the old American tactics.

He stated this while talking to the office-bearers of TNFJ District Council Jhelum who called on him here on Friday. He said Islam had always been desirous of peace and tranquillity and it had never committed aggression rather always condemned all types of aggression, biases, discrimination, oppression and brutality and followed the path of a balanced defensive strategy.

Agha Moosavi said defence is the basic right of every country and person, therefore, motherland Pakistan that came into being in the name of Islam achieved atomic technology for its defence because earlier we were not only made the target of aggression but also had to lose one half of the country.

He said chief of the international world had decided from the very beginning to snub the Muslim World therefore attacking Afghanistan and then Iraq, and now putting all her weight on non-proliferation was actually a bid to maintain their own and their Indian and Israeli agents’ supremacy.

The TNFJ chief said the accusation of underworld which is being pasted, it was America which herself began it, then rooted out Iraq in the garb of finding the weapons of mass destruction but that accusation proved wrong. He said today American members of Congress have stated that Iraq did not possess weapons of mass destruction and Bush had uttered a lie while Garry Ocaine has stated that first murder in the attack was that of truth. Bush government has lost her faith in international community. Therefore, in these circumstances statement of American foreign minister that they would root out Dr. Qadeer’s network would prove a bundle of lie.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said at present the Islamic World was in the grip of colonial powers and Pakistan is their particular target. He said the announcement of President Gen. Pervez Musharraf during his address at National Defence College, not to bargain atomic technology and Kashmir is the voice of whole Pakistan but it could be strengthened further when the whole nation is taken into confidence on this count.

He strongly demanded from the ICC to punish American President Bush and his administration for a lie on the basis of which they rooted out Iraq rather shattered the peace of the whole Middle East. He also demanded from the IAEA to keep America on top of its list for its action regarding nuclear proliferation because it had transferred the whole technology to her agents on which the American-Indian-Israeli collusion stands witness.

He said the whole world of humanity would have to suffer if action was not taken against America, the whole responsibility of which would lay on the United Nations, ICC, IAEA and other similar organisations.

Muslims should renounce path of cowardice and ebullition, Moosavi

RAWALPINDI, February 12: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said that there is need to give up the path of cowardice, weakness, ebullition and adopt a joint and strong policy with knowledge, wisdom and awareness to keep the motherland Pakistan on Basic Ideology.

He stated this while talking to a representative delegation of Mukhtar Students Organisation Bagh, Azad Kashmir that called on him at the head of Tasawwar Ali Jafri and Amir Abbas here on Thursday. He said there is a saying of the Holy Prophet (SAW) that “I am the city of knowledge and Ali is its gate”. Therefore, he added, every student should knock at the gate of knowledge.

Agha Moosavi said there are several levels of knowledge and motherland Pakistan has become an atomic power owing to knowledge. He said drawbacks and wrongs are found in the human beings but cursing and ridiculing the knowledgeable is an indecent activity.

He said the international colonial powers had decided after the World War-II that Muslim States should not be allowed to come forward with developed countries in the field of education, science and economics, and when Pakistan and Israel were created about a half-century ago as ideological States, the colonial powers had started thinking what should they do in the coming days. Therefore, when after the dismemberment of Russia oppressed States and the Islamic World were being considered a threat, the drama of 9/11 was staged to cause harm to the Islamic World as a part of heinous conspiracy against them.

The TNFJ chief said cursing and accusation of our scientists and increasing pressure on Pakistan and American-Zionist-Hindu collusion are a part of that conspiracy. He said the IAEA chief Al-Baradi has announced that there is no name of any Pakistani scientist in the information that Iran provided to him. Similarly, Iran and Libya have also contradicted that they have not taken the name of any Pakistani scientist while North Korea has declared in unequivocal terms that the whole story was concocted by America so as to justify her attack on Iraq and North Korea.

He said some opposition leaders while declaring our scientists not guilty have said that a probe commission should be formed in this connection, besides they are of the opinion that missile technology was achieved from North Korea after paying them the money.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Moosavi said that it is correct that the proliferation of atomic technology was not right rather a dangerous issue but the whole world is aware that many atomic scientists ran away rather some of them were taken away by America to make atomic bomb for them after attack on Germany. After that, he said, all States that became atomic power achieved all this from underworld, then why pressure is being built on Pakistan only???

He said life and death is rested with Allah, and if we desire to proved ourselves as Ummat-e-Wast then we would have to display courage and bravery and would remain stuck to the basic principles of Islam.

The MSO Bagh delegation apprised the TNFJ chief of organisational progress and reiterated their resolve to follow the Code of Azadari to be announced by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya for the oncoming month of Muharramul Haram in letter and spirit.
