SPECIAL MESSAGE OF AGHA SYED HAMID ALI SHAH MOOSAVI Qauid-e-Millat-e-Jafariya Pakistan In connection with Youm-e-Inhidaam Jannatul Baqee (Jannatul Baqee Demolition Day)

Brethren in Islam!
Love is that great a thing on which the system of universe is based and is
maintained, religion has been termed love
and love means
to long for something considering it good. Therefore Allah Says:

(That they give to eat in His love to the poor, orphans and prisoners)

(There is another blessing in addition to these blessings
that you {by heart} love that help {will come} from God and there would be
victory {Oh, Prophet!}, give this glad tidings to Momineen (faithful))

And sometimes, this love is extended to someone for his
superiority and greatness like our love with Allah but the following of the Holy
Prophet (Peace of Allah be upon him & his pure progeny) is obligatory to prove
it right.

(If you keep love with Allah, then follow me)

That means following the Holy Prophet (Peace of Allah be upon
him & his pure progeny) is commensurate with love with Allah that stands
guarantee to human survival because the personality of the Prophet of Islam
(Peace of Allah be upon him & his pure progeny) has been termed an example to
follow for the world of mankind.

(No doubt, the personality of Rasool (messanger) is a good example for you to
follow)

And Uswah-e-Rasool [life – character&deed of Holy Prophet (Peace
of Allah be upon him & his pure progeny)] is commensurate with love to Khanwada-e-Muhammad
and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) [the holy family of Holy Prophet (Peace of Allah be
upon him & his pure progeny) and his progeny’s] and on this basis love with Ahle
Bait (Peace of Allah be upon them) is termed Ajar-e-Risalat [reward for prophet
hood].

(Oh, Rasool! Speak out that I do not want Ajar-e-Risalat from you, but that love
my near and dear ones)

And the way to express this love is that like Muhammad and Aal-e-Muhammad
(A.S.) also consider their signs as most loving; respect, construct and renovate
their graves because the live nations not only construct and renovate the graves
of their Mashaheer [celebrities] and heroes but also protect their left-over
articles related to them and consider them as signs of devotion and love while
construction and protection graves of Aulia Allah is considered respect to
Sha’air Allah [Signs of Allah].

(One who respects the Sha’air Allah, then it is the sign of piousness of hearts)

The singular of Sha’air [signs] is Sha’aeerah that mean sign,
the universe and everything in it is the sign of Allah but respect of everything
is not the sign of piousness rather signs of religion of God are. Like Safa and
Marwa and if the camel that is altered in Mina is Sha’air Allah then why those
Aulia Allah who presented great sacrifices for the religion of God are not
Sha’air Allah? They are not doubt Sha’air Allah and their respect is obligatory,
their holy shrines remained situated in Saudi Arabia till 1926 and their graves
are also there on the soil of Iraq, Iran, Palestine, Tunisia, Yemen, Jordan,
Egypt and Syria rather elsewhere even today. Had the respect of these graves
‘Haram’ [illegal/prohibited] then the rulers before king Saud would have
demolished these graves but the world knows that centuries have passed by,
people not only continued defending the graves of Khasan-e-Khuda [special
persons of Allah] but they had been trying to increase the dignity of the same.

The presence of mausoleums of Khasan-e-Khuda on every page of
the earthly Book (even in Saudi Arabia, graves of Hazrat Ismail A.S. and his
mother Hazrat Hajra (S.A.) at the place of Hajr, Muqam-e-Hazrat Ibrahim
Khalilullah (A.S.) at Bait Al-Haram, and the mausoleum of Prophet of Islam
(Peace of Allah be upon him & his pure progeny), Prophet’s Mosque, graves of
Hazrat Abu Bakar R.A., and Hazrat Umar R.A. in Mandina Munawwarah still exist.)
is a proof of their respect and dignity but the Saudi government committed
desecration of holy shrines of Khanwada-e-Muhammad and Aal-e-Muhammad (Peace of
Allah be upon them) in the cemeteries of Jannatul Mualla and Jannatul Baqee on
8th Shawal in 1929. Their desecration is the desecration of Allah’s religion and
a great sin. The Saudi government should have arranged for construction and
renovation of these graves but they are continuing the process of destruction
the fresh proves of which are the bulldozing of holy grave of Holy Prophet’s
mother Hazrat Aminah (Peace of Allah be upon her) and the shrine of Hazrat Ali
Al-Uraiz, the son of Hazrat Imam Zain Al-Abideen (A.S.) situated in the
outskirts of Madinah Munawwarah. The whole Pakistani community staged a protest
when the Na’alain Mubarak [pair of holy shoes] of the Holy Prophet (Peace of
Allah be upon him & his pure progeny) got missing a few months ago from Lahore
City’s Badshahi Mosque in Pakistan. When the honour of the Na’alain Mubarak is
that much, one can image what should then be the status of Khanwada-e-Athaar
[holy family] and Sahaba Kibaar [grand companions] of Rasool Al-Saqlain.

The destruction of Jannatul Mualla and Jannatul Baqee had been
an open challenge to the dignity of the world of religion and Shariat for
three-forth century. The reason of our difficulties in the present era is chief
of international devil America who is extending unqualified support to Zionists
and Hindus; strengthening them in the process, bombing our brethren, playing
bloody “holi” in Kashmir and Palestine, trying to merge Al-Quds after getting
its occupation, carrying out attacks against Iraq even after sending UN
inspectors there. In this chain, its last target would be Saudi Arabia after
Egypt, Iran and Pakistan. If we desire to thwart the conspiracies hatched by
international chief of terrorists i.e. America, desire success of the oppressed
nations, independence of Kashmir and Palestine, reconstruction and restoration
of Babri Mosque and Dargah Hazratbal, liberation of Al-Quds then the Islamic
World in general, and Saudi Arabia in particular, should come out with
reconstruction and renovation of Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Mualla without any
delay restoring their dignity and prove through their characters and deeds that
, that they share their grieves and they have no differences amongst them.

The shrines of Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Mualla are the great
assets as the history of the Muslims Ummah is commensurate with them. It is not
an issue of any particular country or a Maslak [sect] but of mankind. The United
Nations should take the first initiative in this regard, the OIC should prove
through its words and deeds that it is a true representative of Muslims, and the
ICC in its capacity as the supreme authority of justice should issue orders for
Saudi government to reconstruct the holy shrines. We strongly demand from the
Government of Pakistan to talk to the Saudi government on this issue under the
May 21, 1985 Junejo-Moosavi agreement because we keep the honour and dignity of
Mashaheer-e-Islam [heroes of Islam] very dear to us. Even today we strongly
condemn the destruction of holy shrines, present our condolences on this
incident to the Holy Prophet (Peace of Allah be upon him & his pure progeny) and
announce our commitment not to give up our struggle unless the Jannatul Mualla
and Jannatul Baqee are reconstructed and renovated.
