AGHA SYED HAMID ALI SHAH MOOSAVI
Qauid-e-Millat-e-Jafariya Pakistan
on the occasion of
Youm-e-Inhidaam Jannatul Baqee
(Jannatul Baqee Demolition Day)
(8 Shawwal-ul-Mukarram 1424 A.H.)
Objective of human life
is worship of Allah
while height
and acme of worship is piousness
and on this
basis the foundation of human moral system is
and the
standard of human dignity has been declared piousness
. And
piousness is the name of avoiding evil moral and adorning oneself with good
moral
. The Holy
Prophet (SAW) while pointing towards his heart said:
(Piousness
is here), and respect of Shaair-Ullah is from amongst the piousness of
hearts
, (whosoever
respects Shaair Allah, no doubt it is from piousness of hearts).Shaair is the plural of Shaeerah, the meaning of which is
sign and mark. Except Allah everything in this world is the sign of His presence
but respect of everything is not binding while respect for Shaair-Ullah is
declared a must and these are
(The
signs of Allahs religion).And it is written in
translation Sheikh-ul-Hind Hazrat Maulana Mahmoodul Hassan Sahib, Tafseer
Sheikh-ul-Islam Hazrat Maulana Shabbir Ahmed Sahib Usmani, page 447, Quranic
Part 17, Surah Hajj 22, Box F-5, that respect for Shaair-Ullah is not
included in polytheism, whosoever in whose heart there is piousness and he fears
from Allah alone, would definitely respect everything attached with the name of
Allah. This giving respect is not polytheism rather in line with the signs of
monotheism that lover for Allah respects everything that is attached with the
name of Allah. It is written on page 446, Outline 11: the things Allah
declared respectable, keeping the respect of the same is a big capability and
piousness and result of which would be the best. The things declared respectable
include sacrificial animals, Bait-Ullah, Safa, Marwah, Mina, Arafat, mosques,
Quran rather all commandments of Allah.Therefore, about Safa and Marwah, Allah Says
, the
sacrificial animal is termed Shaair-Ullah and Muzdalfah is called Mashar
because these are the signs of Allahs religion. In other words Manasik-e-Hajj
are considered Shaair-Ullah because these are the signs of religion of Islam.So when everything that is declared the sign of Divine religion, its
respect becomes a must and a source of pleasure of Allah. The greatest signs are
Prophets, Messengers, and Righteous through whom the religion achieved height
and acme. Thus when all Prophets (A.S.) have been declared the signs then the
Holy Prophet (SAW) who is chief of all Prophets and Messengers and his Ahle Bait
Athaar, or holy progeny (A.S.), Sahaba Kibaar, or great companions (R.A.) are
declared the greatest and best signs of religion and Shariah in a most perfect
level. Their respect and respect of everything named after them, their signs,
portents and graves is binding because respect is the display of love and
devotion while the love of holy family of Muhammad (A.S.) has been declared as
Ajr-e-Risalat
(Say O,
Rasool! I do not ask you for any wages but that love my near and dear ones).When it is settled that love with them is a must then it is binding on
the Muslim Ummah to consider their holy shrines as respectable because signs and
graves of holy family of Apostleship (A.S.) are the symbol of religions purity
and their protection, defense, care, survival, construction and renovation is
the zenith of religion and Shariah and in it lay the success, survival and
welfare of the Islamic World as well as a proof of our heartfelt love and
devotion.Sahaba Kibaar, or Prophet (SAW)s great companions (R.A.), also respected
everything that is connected with the Messenger (SAW) so as to express their
heartfelt love and devotion and consider it holistic. Bukhari has established a
chapter in his Sahih in which he mentioned the armour, staff, sword, bowl, ring
and other articles of the Prophet (SAW) that were respected by Sabaha Kibaar
(R.A.) while Moey-e-Mubarik (hair), Naalain Mubarik (shoes) and utensils used
by the Prophet (SAW) were considered holistic by Sahaba and non-Sahaba alike.
Zaid bin Saabit (R.A.) was riding a horse one day, that Ibne Abbas (R.A.)
held the Rakaab (stirrup), Zaid (R.A.) said: O, the son of Rasools (SAW) uncle,
leave it. Thus Ibne Abbas (R.A.) said we have been told to respect scholars and
elders in this way, Zaid (R.A.) asked him to show his hand. Ibne Abbas (R.A.)
took out his hand, and Zaid (R.A.) kissed his hand and said, we have been
directed to behave like this with the Ahle Bait of our Prophet (SAW).
But it is tragic that today more than three-fourth
of the century (1926-2003) has passed and Jannatul Muallah
(Makkah-tul-Mukarramah) and Jannatul Baqee (Madina-tul-Munawwarah), where wives
of Prophet (SAW), Sahaba Kibaar (R.A.), Ahle Bait Athaar (A.S.) and best of
them personality Umme Aaimmah-tul-Huda Hazrat Fatima Zahra (S.A.) daughter of
Rasool-e-Khuda who is the Mistress of the Women of World and for whose respect
Paighambar-e-Islam (SAW) used to stand up until she sits down and kiss her
hands, are lying destructed but the Islamic World is keeping a quiet. Does it
(Islamic World) ever think that what is the biggest reason of its disrespect?
Today, international colonial powers and her agents have made its life difficult
and despite enriched with a host of resources it is continuously victim of their
oppression and brutality, why? New traps are being laid and new tactics are
being implemented, the day in and day out; after Afghanistan and Iraq, among
other States,
Saudi Arabia is their biggest target, but why? It provides food for
thought to Aal-e-Saud think!! And think more O, The Men of Understanding!! The
main reason behind it is we have violated the respect, honour and dignity of
those holy personalities whose respect and reverence was made binding on us and
love to whom was made obligatory for us.

restore the respect and dignity of Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Muallah otherwise
they should be ready to take on more problems and difficulties.We reiterate our commitment on 8th Shawwal, the day of tragic
incident of Inhidam Jannatul Baqee, or the Day of Demolition of Cemetery of
Baqee, (that is observed every year by the only representative organization of
Maktab-e-Tashayyo Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan, the world over like
it is observed in motherland Pakistan with due respect and dignity) that we
would continue our struggle for promotion of religion and Shariah,
reconstruction, renovation and restoration of dignity of signs and graves of
family of prophethood and Apostleship (A.S.), Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul
Muallah.Therefore, we strongly demand from the powers that be that under
the May 21, 1985 Junejo-Moosavi agreement that is binding on them (the
government), they should exert pressure on Saudi government on diplomatic level
for reconstruction of the same. We also appeal all international organizations
including United Nations, UNESCO (that is responsible for the protection of
archaeology), European Union, OIC, Arab League, ICC to give their attention
towards this important international, human, constitutional, moral and religious
issue as in it lay the welfare and supremacy not only of Islam but that of whole
