Nation observes “Day of Tolerance” with spirit

RAWALPINDI, October 10: “Day of Tolerance” as announced by Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan was observed throughout the country including Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas with national spirit on Friday.

On this occasion, Ulama-e-Karam during Friday congregations in all cities and town urged the need of promoting brotherhood, fraternity, sacrifice and tolerance and fervently appealed the countrymen to make joint practical struggle with unity to thwart the conspiracies of enemies of the religion and nation.

Delivering special address on the “Day of Tolerance,” the Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said solution to problems lay not in oppression and violence but in patience and tolerance. He said that at present whole world of humanity is confronted with oppression and terrorism; colonial powers plus Zionists and Hindus are utilizing all their energies aimed at causing one brother to fight the other and creating mischief in a bid to confront the world with unrest, ergo, we would have to work with sagacity and avoid unreasonable blaming as it causes benefit to not only the enemy but also the real terrorists and perpetrators succeed in escaping thereby.

Agha Moosavi stressed the need of promoting peace as well as its maintenance, which is possible only when all respect each other. He said as Pakistan which came into being in the name of Islam is a fruit of exemplary unity of all schools of thought therefore responsibility of its survival, security, integrity and solidarity comes equally to the shoulders of all.

He said playing just role is the greater responsibility of media because it is incontestable that terrorism is oppression, and support of an oppressor whether it is by pen or tongue, it is great sin. He said affiliating terrorism with any faith, sect or state is not right because the whole world abhors it. He said we have to give preference to unity plus interests of nation and the country above every thing, which is possible only when all parties: government, opposition, parliament, administration and media would work justly keeping aside expediencies.

The TNFJ chief said strong condemnation from all schools of thought for the Islamabad incident proved that there is no maktabi and maslaki conflict in Pakistan, and that disputes of outlawed outfits could never be termed as Maktabi and Maslaki conflict. He made clear that our perpetual enemy by conducting killings & rapacity and creating dissention desires to give it a Maslaki and sectarian color; its topmost objective is to harm Islam, Pakistan and Muslims, but all schools of thought will prove by their deed that no power, howsoever big, could create dissension among us, he asserted.

Congregations were also held in the twin cities: Islamabad and Rawalpindi marking the “Day of Tolerance.” Allama Syed Mohsin Al-Hussaini while addressing Friday congregation at Jame Masjid Qasr-e-Abu Talib (AS) expressed his concern over giving freed hand by the government to the terrorists following the Islamabad incident which resulted in destruction of not only private property but also setting on fire the holy shrine of Hazrat Bari Imam’s (RA) father, Hazrat Sakhi Mahmood Badshah (RA) situated in the heart of Islamabad, Mosque and Imambargah adjacent to it, dozens of copies of holy Quran and other relics.

He said that above this oppression was the encouragement of miscreants through concealing this news by media. He said those who trample the honor of Buzurgan-e-Din are enemies to human values as well as those who torch holy Quran are foes to Sha’a’ir Ullah whose punishment is prescribed in Quran & Sunnah and Constitution of Pakistan.

Allama Al-Hussaini said Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Jamali should had to condemn this heinous act of miscreants by visiting the Shrine on his return to home besides issuing orders of immediate action against the culprits. He held Islamabad administration responsible for the torching, and destruction. He demanded ATO implementation and clamp of banned outfits working with new names.

Congregations were also witnessed at Masjid Kazmiiyah Chuhr Harpal, Jame Masjid Shah Chan Charagh, Danishgah Jafariya, Masjid & Imambargah Qasr-e-Shabbir, Zainabiyah Hall, Imambargah Zainul Aza, Haideriah Masjid, Jamiatul Mosheer, Masjid Isna Ashari, Masjid Sakinah, Masjid & Imambargah Jagir-e-Ali Akbar, Masjid Al-Qaim, Qasr-e-Batool, Imambargah Sajjadiyah, Masjid-e-Tuba, Qasr-e-Khadijatul Kubra, Masjid Imam Ali Naqi, Qasr-e-Imam Moosa Kazim, Jame Masjid Jafariya and Jamia Waliul Asr addressing which the scholars highlighted the importance of tolerance.

Nation observing ‘Day of Tolerance’ today

RAWALPINDI, October 09: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has announced to observe “Day of Tolerance” throughout the country on Friday, October 10.

In a statement issued here from Tehreek headquarters, he said Islam is the most favourite religion of Allah that has given utmost importance to the human being and considered him honourable and dignified on which a Quranic Ayah “Laqad Karramna Bani Adam” stands witness. On the same base tolerance has much importance in Islam.

He said tolerance means that a person does not enforce his own thinking and ideologies on others rather others should be given the right to follow any belief they so like, independently. He said in this connection much has been mentioned in Quran and Sunnah that Islam does not support coercion rather it is commensurate with patience and forbearance. He said Allah is the biggest tolerant and showers His blessings on every human being without any discrimination.

Agha Moosavi said those who do not respect the ideas and ideologies of others and do not give them their right are considered biased that provides the base of terrorism. He made it clear that siding your own people in oppression and brutality is called biasness because oppression and brutality is the great sin while Islam preaches the lesson of large-heartedness.

He said Islam considers Sha’a’ir-e-Islam, Mashaheer, Aulia Karaam and their signs respectable through Quran and guides how to respect everything that may keep the feeling of Allah alive in the heart of the human being. He said the Aulia Allah, their shrines and relics are the signs of subservience to Allah. He said like murdering any innocent person is terrorism, likewise desecration of Kitaab Allah, Sha’a’ir Allah, and Mazars of Aulia Karaam is also the worst type of terrorism.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said Pakistan came into being in the name of Islam, therefore, if the rulers desire to root out the menace of terrorism once for all then they will have to negate biases and fulfill the norms of justice and fair-play and ensure the respect of them all.

He appealed all countrymen that by observing the “Day of Tolerance” on Friday, October 10 prove that Muslims, Islam and Pakistan have nothing to do with terrorism and we strongly condemn and express hatred against it. By observing the Day, they would also prove that Islam preaches love, brotherhood and mutual understanding that are symbol of our unity, he added.

He appealed the countrymen to highlight the importance of tolerance and express hatred against terrorism, in all religious gatherings including Friday congregations on the “Day of Tolerance” being observed on Friday. They should also strongly condemn the destruction caused by fire incident at the shrine of Sakhi Mahmood Badshah (R.A.), father of Hazrat Bari Imam (R.A.) that resulted in loss of copies of the Holy Quran, Taburrakaat and the private property at the hands of miscreants and remain alert from the enemies of religion and the motherland.

TNFJ Islamabad president holds PC on fire incident

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan – October 09: President Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya district council Islamabad Allama Basharat Hussain Imami strongly condemning the conflagration of the holy shrine of Hazrat Bari Imam’s (RA) father, Hazrat Sakhi Mahmood Badshah (RA), Al-Fuqara Mosque and Imambargah adjacent to it, dozens of copies of holy Quran and other relics at the hands of miscreants has demanded from the government to clamp the culprits with iron hand, give them exemplary punishment as well as a probe that why in the presence of administration such was committed deliberately.

He was addressing a news conference at the shrine of Hazrat Sakhi Mahmood Badshah (RA), Aabpara, Islamabad on Thursday. Local religious scholars and leaders of different religious and matmi organizations were also present on the occasion. He stressed upon the President Gen Pervez Musharraf to find out black sheep besides implementing effectively the Anti-Terrorism Ordinance, because terrorists either they are in any dress or party they are just terrorists and deserve no mercy. He demanded from the government compensation of damages. He said Federal Minister for Interior affairs should resign forthwith displaying moral courage on the incident of arson, destruction, and fire and desecration of the shrine.

Responding to a question, Allama Imami said suspension of administration is not sufficient but they must be booked. He said a Muslim cannot desecrate Sha’a’ir-Ullah and nor can kill anyone unjustly. He said if killing is terrorism then defilement of holy Quran and shrine is also terrorism. He warned that if government would not take notice of this trampling of holy places then the same will be done with the rulers themselves.

Allama Imami made clear in answer to another question that Pakistan, which was established in the name of Islam, is a fruit of joint struggles of all schools of thought. He lamented that because of inefficient rulers we lost a part of our country; Ziaul Haq when he attacked democracy, confronted the country with a new trouble deviating the principles of Quaid-e-Azam, and the nation is still suffering this in the form of terrorism.

Issuance of Presidential Anti-Terrorism Ordinance left very good effects and everyone felt a pause in terrorism but this was restored again after the participation of banned outfits in the elections with new names. Incidents of Quetta, Karachi, and now the killing of member National assembly Azam Tariq in Islamabad stand witness, he answered a question concerning the government steps for control of terrorism, adding that though everyone knows Azam Tariq was affiliated with an outlawed organization but despite this every man and party regardless of any discrimination termed the killing terrorism and condemned it.

Allama Imami said that TNFJ is the only representative organization, which always gives preference to the interests of the nation and the country on each and every occasion and speaks for brotherhood. During the last 20 years, the TNFJ chief Agha Syed Hamid Ali shah Moosavi presented to the government suggestions for eradication of terrorists and terrorism which were followed by President Gen Musharraf only. This Anti-Terrorism Ordinance is result of all that, he added.

He said we respect all because we keep Islam and Pakistan dear to everything. Neither we are weak nor should anyone deem our nobility weakness. Whether it is murder of anyone we consider it our’s and say that whosoever create dissention among Shia and Sunni schools of thought, is not friend of anyone but an enemy for humanity.

He told reports that not even a single stick was moved after the murder of Aun Muhammad Rizvi and Shah-e-Najaf incident; Quetta incident is the deadliest incident in Pakistan history but neither a shop was set on fire and nor harm was caused to anyone. All this is courtesy to TNFJ because it always has adopted a positive policy, but after the incident of Islamabad the inefficiency and slackness of government is manifest to all.

He lamented that despite this that Islamabad is capital city miscreants were given a free hand which caused harm to not only private and public property but the shrine of Hazrat Sakhi Mahmood (RA), father of Hazrat Bari Imam – and Islamabad’s conversion to capital is under obligation to him – was not only desecrated and torched but even the copies of holy Quran were not spared, malang men were beaten, Alam mubarik was set on fire and innocent birds were also not forgiven. But the media tried its best to conceal this oppression, he lamented and condemned, adding that private channels particularly geo gave coverage to all news except the fire of the shrine and copies of holy Quran, which is journalistic dishonesty and created harm to its own credibility. But truth never dies and speaks even on spear point.

He said we speak not only for Maktab-e-Tashayyo, Quran is the last Shariah, our messenger is the last messenger (SAW) and this is the last Book which is our source of survival; likewise the shrine of Hazrat Sakhi Mahmood is respectable in the sight of all and is visited by not only Shia and Sunni but also the minorities. He said on one hand media concealed it while on the other presented the terror incident in such a manner, which provoked the people resulting in damages in different cities.

The TNFJ district council Islamabad president fully supported the demand of the Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi in which he appealed the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take suo moto notice of the incident and book the Islamabad administration, order probe against the fire incident at the shrine of Bari Sarkar’s (RA) father and order strict action and punishment against the culprits, because there is a punishment proposed in the Constitution of Pakistan for those who desecrate Holy Quran.

He resolved to promote unity, and gave thanks to the newsmen for giving time hoping that they would bring to light the oppression and injustice.

He said Hazrat Ali Akbar (A.S.) is the young son of Imam Hussain (A.S.) who kissed martyrdom by receiving the wound of spear on bosom for the protection of Islam and humanity but by not bowing down his head before the evil forces taught an eternal lesson to the conscious persons that terrorism could be rooted out by adopting the policy of the oppressed.

Agha Moosavi said everyone is condemning the incident of terrorism took place in Federal Capital Islamabad on Monday without any discrimination because we consider that murder is not a solution of problems rather the solution lay in justice and normalcy. He said linking terrorism with any Maslak or fiqh is enmity with Islam and Pakistan and we still stick to our stance that a terrorist keeps no religion, Maslak or a country, he is only a terrorist and should be seen and dealt with accordingly.

The TNFJ chief said the government was duty bound to take concrete steps for restoring and ensuring peace after the Islamabad incident but they did nothing except verbal boasting as a result of which holy shrine of Hazrat Bari Imam’s (R.A.) father, Hazrat Sakhi Mahmood Badshah (R.A.), Mosque and Imambargah adjacent to it, dozens of copies of holy Quran present therein and other relics were desecrated and set on fire that is most condemnable act.

In a statement issued here on Monday from Tehreek headquarters against Israeli and Indian aggression, he said international devil and her agents have shattered the world peace despite the United Nations Manifesto that states that this organization was bent upon saving the future generations from war.

Agha Moosavi lamented that the United Nations seems to be helpless on implementing her Manifesto since its inception and on the basis of her weakness, the chief of the colonial powers Bush has shattered Afghanistan and Iraq staging a drama on the pretext of Saddam and Usama. He said it is American pat on the back of India and Israel for they both were making the life of Kashmiris and Palestinians difficult. He said unfortunately, the representative organization of the Islamic World i.e. the OIC maintained silence on every critical occasion, therefore, it is now duty bound to come out of deep slumber on this critical moment and do not delay formulating a joint strategy while attack on any State should be considered as attack on the whole Islamic World.
