RAWALPINDI, October 8: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said that the seerat and character of Hazrat Syeda Zainab binte Ali (S.A.) is the source of guidance for the whole womankind. He stated this while addressing the Mehfil-e-Hazrat Zainab (S.A.) at the beginning of “Hafta Wila-e-Muhammad and Aal-e-Muhammad” here on Tueday. He said Sha’aban Al-Muazzam is the month of blessings, worship and servitude.

Agha Moosavi said this holy month begins with the Wiladat Ba Sa’adat of Hazrat Syeda Zainab (S.A.) who enjoys the honour of being the sister of Nawa-e-Rasool Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.). This pious Bibi (S.A.) had the knowledge of Maktab-e-Illahi and Nabawi and a symbol of courage, bravery and piousness. He said the Sher-Dil daughter of the Sher-e-Khuda (A.S.) not only defended the blood of Martyrs of Karbala but also fulfilled the obligation of defending their objectives by delivering heart-rending addresses in the streets of Kofa and Shaam and in the courts of Yazid and Ibne Ziad. He said the Yazidi forces were still afraid of Zainab’s character while the Zainabi spirit is the central force of independence movements the world over including that of Kashmir and Palestine.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi the name of Hazrat Zainab (S.A.) was proposed by the Holy Prophet (SAW) when he took her in his lap saying that she resembles most with Khadija-tul-Kubra (S.A.). In other words, the Holy Prophet (SAW) unveiled the knowledge of Nabuwwat and Risalat that like Hazrat Khadita-tul-Kubra (S.A.) set the example by sacrificing all she had for Mustafa (SAW) for the development of Islam, similarly Nawasi-e-Rasool would also sacrifice all she has for Nawasa-e-Mustafa for the survival of religion and Shariat setting an example of sacrifice for Muslim and oppressed people and the women at large. He said the chief of the world of Yazidiyyat Bush, Tony Blaire and their agents could be confronted by following in the foot-steps of Sharika-tul-Hussain (S.A.) rooting out their oppression, brutality, and terrorism.

RAWALPINDI, October 7: “Hafta Wila-e-Muhammad and Aal-e-Muhammad” will be observed from 1-7 Shaban Al-Muazzam throughout the country as announced by Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. Mahafil-e-Milad, functions and seminars will be held in Imambargahs, Aza-Khanas, and public places in cities, towns, and villages of the country in which seerat and character of Khanwada-e-Muhammad and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) will be highlighted, homage will be paid to them and special prayers will be offered for the supremacy of the Islamic World, solidarity of the motherland Pakistan, and success of the Kashmir and Palestine movements.

Meanwhile, a meeting of the Markazi Wila-e-Muhammad and Aal-e-Muhammad Committee of the TNFJ was held under the presidentship of Central Convener Syed Jabir Hussain Naqvi. The meeting reviewed the programmes for “Hafta Wila-e-Muhammad and Aal-e-Muhammad” and appointed conveners for all the four provinces including Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas to organise these programmes. The conveners appointed are: Allama Mohsin Ali Hamdani (Punjab), Allama Mazhar Abdi (Sindh), Mehdi Hazarvi (Sindh), Allama Ijaz Hussain (Sarhad), Akhund Ghulam Muhammad Ammoni (Northern Areas), and Zulfiqar Ali Kazmi (Azad Kashmir).

Addressing the meeting Syed Jabir Hussain Naqvi said Wila of Muhammad and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) is the guiding force for us and guarantees survival for the whole world of humanity. He appealed the Islamian-e-Pakistan to display exemplary unity and brotherhood on the occasion of “Hafta Wila-e-Muhammad and Aal-e-Muhammad” so as to thwart every conspiracy of the enemies of Islam, colonial powers and their Zionist and Hindu agents proving that no conspiracy of the enemy could create cracks in their ranks.

RAWALPINDI, October 6: The Day of Safar-e-Shahadat of Qafla-e-Hussaini from Madinah Munawwarah was observed through the country with religious devotion and fervour as announced by Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. Majalis-e-Aza were held in Imambargahs and Aza-Khanas in all big cities and towns of the country in which ulema, waizeen and zakireen highlighted in detail the objective of Qayam-e-Hussaini. Addressing the Majlis-e-Shahadat organised under the auspices of Syed Mujahid Hussain Shah and Syed Naveed Hussain Shah Naqvi in Arya Mohallah Muslim Colony, the Nazim-ul-Umoor Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya Punjab Province Allama Syed Mohsin Ali Hamdani said that the Qayam of Imam Aali Muqaam (A.S.) was not for achieving power or any other material things but he set out for Madinah for supremacy of human values, dignity of pious relationships, and survival of the message of Tauheed-o-Risalat.

Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi while addressing the Majlis said, Yazid was trampling down the dignity of humanity through his black deeds and giving his evil activities the name of Islam and Shariat and Nawasa-e-Rasool unveil the Yazidi conspiracies by getting his head chopped off during Sajdah and by giving the sacrifices of his offspring and companions and kept the flag of Tauheed fluttering high for ever. He said in present day situation, all conscientious people will have to adopt the path of Hussainiyyat to confront the Yazidi conspiracies on world level. He reiterated his resolve not to hesitate in offering any sacrifice for promotion of Wilayat-e-Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) and achievement of religious rights of the Millat-i-Jafariya. RAWALPINDI, October 5: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said the Islamic World should prefer death in honour over life in disgrace following Seerat-e-Mustafvi (SAW) and Asswah-e-Hussaini (A.S.) for rooting out problems faced by them. He stated this in a special message issued on the occasion of Youm-e-Safar Shahadat-e-Hussaini that is being observed throughout the country on Sunday with due religious fervour. He said objective of the creation of human being is welfare of the mankind. He said 27th Rajab is the day of Ba’asat-e-Nabawi while 28th Rajab reminds us of Safar-e-Shahadat of Imam Aali Muqaam (A.S.) from Madinah Munawwarah. He said the Holy Prophet (SAW) in his first address after his Ba’asat he said: “Recite Kalma-e-Tauheed so that you enjoy welfare”.

Agha Moosavi said the life span of the Holy Prophet (SAW) spread over 63 years stands witness that he preferred welfare of the whole mankind over everything fulfilling the obligation of being subservient to the Creator. He said throughout the Risalat activity of the Holy Prophet (SAW) one could not witness overdoing or underdoing, oppression or brutality, and injustice because the Paighambar-e-Islam (SAW) was the messenger of peace and tranquillity, and the religion to preach he was sent, guarantees the survival and blessings for the whole mankind. He said when the Kufr-o-Shirk desired to disturb the peace of mankind in the garb of religion and Shariat, then Imam Hussain (A.S.) came out to defend the religion of his grandfather and stated his objectives and goals as: “My ‘Qayam’ is not for rebellion, war, arson, oppression or brutality but I have come out to correct the things so that could order piousness and follow the seerat of Nabi (SAW) and Ali (A.S.)”. He said in the light of this address it becomes crystal clear that rebellion, murder, war, arson, oppression and brutality were the order of the day during that period. Therefore, it has become clear that if Yazidi conspiracies are on the peak, then staging ‘Qayam’ or stopping the same becomes an obligation, he added.

The TNFJ chief said terrorism is on its peace today and the chief of the terrorist world was targeting the world of humanity in general, and religion and Shariat in particular in the name of rooting out terrorism. He said first they massacred Muslims in Afghanistan, played “holi” with the blood of innocent people in Kashmir and Palestine through her agents while now when agreement has been reached between Iraq and UN inspectors, she has come out with a new Resolution to sabotage the same. He said it is time for a real test for the United Nations to do justice. He said if it is siding with America then it has no place and if performs justice then the oppression would be rooted out forever.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said a new problem crops before the earlier one is settled. He said President Bush has signed the Bill passed by the American Congress to declare Bait Al-Maqdas as Israeli capital which would strengthen not only Israel but also every aggressor in increasing the incidents of oppression and brutality responsibility of which lays on the United Nations. He said Vajpayee has already made the life of Kashmiris difficult while the OIC was playing the role of a silent spectator. He said the Muslims are being punished for their weakness while America desires to get hold of resources in Muslim States in the garb of rooting out terrorism that could only be possible by overcoming Muslims. He reiterated his resolve on this occasion to live like Murtaza (A.S.) and die like Hussain (A.S.) but would neither back out from the righteous path nor would bargain their rights as in it lay our survival and development.

RAWALPINDI, October 4: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said Miraj-un-Nabi (SAW) is the solid proof of subjugation of the universe through which the Nature has made it clear that every thing is subservient to human being if he is on the highest pedestal of servitude. He stated this in a special message issued on the occasion of Shab-e-Mirage and Ba’asat-e-Nabawi. He said there is a Quranic Ayah that stands witness to the mirage of humanity: “Pious is that Personality (God) that took His man from Masjid-e-Haram to Masjid-e-Aqsa during the same night, around which We have given prosperity”. He said the meaning of Aqsa is “far away”, the Holy Prophet (SAW) went to a place which was not accessible to others before, neither it is accessible today nor it would be in future and the Ayah begins with “Subhan” and this word is used when some great occasion is narrated.

Agha Moosavi said Mirage took place in Bait-ul-Maqdas that is situated in the Elia City of Palestine. There are two parts of the Mirage — first is called Isra and the second as Mirage. It is mentioned in Surah Najam, the second one is greater than the first thus the fame. Quoting the Hadis-e-Qudsi he said “O, man! Be subservient to Me, you would be able to do what you like”. He said Ba’asat-e-Nabawi (SAW) is the preaching of recitation from Holy Quran, purification of the Nafs, and education of the Book and Hikmah. The Holy Prophet (SAW) had said that objective of my Ba’asat is rebuilding of moral. He said the Holy Prophet (SAW) had gone through the Mirage of Nabuwwat, Risalat, and morality.

The TNFJ chief said the whole world of humanity is confronted with problems today, dictators were ruling them almost everywhere, Kashmir and Palestine issues are pending resolution for more than half a century the basic reason of which is keeping distance from the teachings of Mustafa (SAW) and sitting in the lap of Abu Lehabs of today considering them the only source of solution to their problems. He said objective of the Godly representatives had been restoration of justice and fair-play while the enemies of Islam always opted oppression and brutality. He said Iraq is ready to receive the inspectors and the United Nations and Iraq have already struck a deal in this connection while Bush has presented a new Resolution against Iraq in the American Senate saying he desires to kill Saddam or send him into exile. He said objective of the enemies of Islam is to carry out killings and unrest while Islam desires survival of humanity. He said America was exerting pressure on Iraq to destroy weapons immediately, she should also exert the similar pressure on Israel and follow this activity herself so as to resolve the long-standing issues of Kashmir and Palestine.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said America and her agents were responsible for all issues as they were bent upon sabotaging peace the world over. Therefore, the United Nations should display courage and get its Resolutions implemented fulfilling the norms of justice and fair-play. By doing this not only terrorism would be rooted out but justice and fair-play would also reign suspreme the world over, he added.

RAWALPINDI, October 3: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said Khanwada-e-Muhammad and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) taught the world of oppressed, have-nots how to live in independence. He stated this while addressing Majlis-e-Imam Kazim (A.S.) on the occasion of country-wide “Youm-e-Babul Hawaij” observed throughout the country to mark the Youm-e-Shahadat of Imam Musa bin Jafar (A.S.). He said completion of Islam and Iman is not possible without expressing love and devotion to Khanwada-e-Muhammad and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.).

Agha Moosavi said a great personality of this Khanwada Musa bin Jafar (A.S.) accepted detention as a punishment for a “no” to irrelevant politics of the oppressed and preached the lesson of non-acceptance that guarantees success for the freedom fighters. He said Imam Musa bin Jafar (A.S.) turned the detention cells into places of worship giving a big surprise to enemies of religion and Shariat and declared upon the world that seerat of everyone belonging to Khanwada-e-Muhammad and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) is pitched against oppression, riot, and terrorism and thus is a great jehad that guarantees success.

The TNFJ chief said the world of humanity is still confronted with the colonial tactics of their biggest enemy i.e. America. He said America by rejecting Iraq and United Nations conciliation and humiliated the whole humanity and proved to be a biggest terrorist of the world. He asked that who has given America authority to attack any State whenever and wherever she likes and keep on hurling threats on weaker nations? He said the United Nations and the ICC should take strong exception of this situation and if they did not then none of the United Nations Resolutions or agreements could be implemented.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said Bush has lost his senses and was expressing madness while big powers like Russia, China, France and Germany were not siding with America on this issue but they should express more courage to stop Bush from taking crazy steps otherwise, he said, this black cobra would bite all, one by one. He said the United Nations should also take Iraq like action against Israel also besides keeping an eye on India who was massacring Muslims in Indian Gujerat and was playing “holi” with the blood of innocent Muslims in Held Kashmir. He said the Kashmiri people by not taking part in sham elections have openly expressed their desire for a plebiscite under the supervision of the United Nations. Therefore, he said the United Nations should not delay implementing its Resolution any more.

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan – 03 OCT: “Babul Hawaij Day” as announced by Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafariya Pakistan Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi marking the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Imam Moosa Al-Kazim (AS) was observed throughout Pakistan like other parts of the world with respect and reverence on Thursday. On this occasion, majalis-e-aza were held and Taboot of Aseer-e-Baghdad (AS) were taken out from all big cities and towns.

In Rawalpindi, central taboot procession of Babul Hawaij Day was brought out from the residence of Ghulam Haider Shah under the arrangements of the sons of Bawa Syed Karam Hussain Shah Kazmi. All matmi organizations of Rawalpindi attending the procession performed matamdari and zanjeerzani. The procession culminated at Darbar Sakhi Shah Pyara after touching through its designated routes. A majlis-e-aza was arranged on this occasion, which was addressed, by renowned scholars and speakers.

Najabat Kazmi Brothers arranged a majlis-e-aza at Qasr-e-Abu Talib Mughalabad. At Ali Masjid, Satellite Town, a majlis-e-Aza was held under the auspice of Agha Syed Muhammad Murtaza Moosavi, Agha Syed Ali Roohul Abbas Moosavi and Syed Joan Ali Mash’hadi, which was addressed, by Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi, Zakir Matloob Hussain Kazmi, Poet Bashir Hussain Niyaz, Tabassum Kazmi, Ali Raza Zaidi and Syed Arif Al-Hussaini. Later, matam was performed.

Allama Ghazanfar Abbas Tonsavi addressed the last majlis of Ashra-e-Karvan-e-Mawaddat in connection with Imam Moosa Al-Kazim (AS)’s martyrdom anniversary at Darbar Shah Chan Charagh.

A taboot procession was taken out from the residence of Mushtaq Hussain Jafri while another taboot procession was brought out from Syed Fayyaz Hussain Kazmi’s residence at Bangash Colony. A large number of mourners attended a taboot propcession which was taken out from Mash’hadi House.

In Islamabad, Majlis-e-Babul Hawaij was held at Qasr-e-Imam Moosa Kazim, I-10, Islamabad, which was addressed by renowned speakers. Taboot procession was also taken out on this occasion. Majalis were arranged at Masjid & imambargah Lal Quarters, Masjid Khadija Tarlayi Kalan, Masjid Imam Ali Naqi Pind Sangryal etc.

Addressing a majlis-e-aza at Darbar Sakhi Shah Nazar Diwan, Syed Kasran, Khateeb Fateh Furat said Hazrat Imam Moosa Al-Kazim (AS) was that great leader of Islamic world, an embodiment of bravery and courage whose sole interest was sublimation of Deen & shariah. On this occasion, a taboot procession was taken out in which hundreds of mourners offered condolences performing zanjeerzani.

Molana Sheikh Ijaz Hussain Mudarris besides many other speakers and scholars addressed a majlis-e-aza at Qasr-e-Kazmia, Jasol Sayedan.

In Bhakkar, Mukhtar Force arranged a majlis-e-aza at Imambargah Qasr-e-Zainab (AS). Molana Aqeel Abbas, Molana Alamdar Hussain besides many other renowned speakers addressed the majlis.

In Peshawar, Zakir Gulzar Hussain Gondal addressed a majlis held at Imambargah Master Bahadur Ali, Yaka Toot, under the arrangements of Mukhtar Force. Taboot was taken out and matam was performed following the majlis.

In Sialkot, two-day annual majalis-e-aza was held at Imambargah Basti Momineen Kazimabad, Head Marala, Sialkot, under the arrangements of Tehreek Nafaz e Fiqh e Jafariya Sialkot, Mukhtar Force, Sialkot and Anjuman Babul Hawaij Moosa ibne Jafar Rawla Kikar, Head Marala, Sialkot. Renowned scholars and speakers addressed the majalis. Later, Taboot of Aseer-e-Baghdad Hazrat Imam Moosa Kazim (AS) was taken out from the bridge. The taboot procession ended at Imambargah Basti Momineen after passing through its designated routes.

Majalis-e-Babul Hawaij were also held in Larkana, Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, Skardu, Gilgit, Muzaffarabad, D. G. Khan, D. I. Khan, Qasoor, Kot D. G, Sirhiyan Sayedan, Shikar Pur, Mianwali, Bhawalpur and Haiderabad besides Markazi Imambargah Sher Kot Kohat, Masjid & Imambargah Ahlebayt Wah.

RAWALPINDI, October 1: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said we would have to hold the Daman-e-Haider Karrar (A.S.) to get rid of Marhab and Antar of today i.e. Zionists and Hindus. He stated this while delivering his special address at Mehfil-e-Haideri here on Tuesday. He said the prime objective of Islam is to promote peace and tranquillity and to express hatred against the oppressed and aggressors. He said the life span of the Holy Prophet (SAW) spread over 63 years stands witness that he never committed aggression rather fought all wars in Islam’s defence as a result of which Islamic government spread over a million square miles. As many as 255 Muslims were amongst those 1004 who died during these wars, 6564 were made war prisoners who were given full respect as only two of them were murdered.

Agha Moosavi said that no grandeur, lust for booty or expansionist designs were involved in Islam’s defensive strategy but it was aimed at giving invitation for righteousness, defence and rooting out oppression. He said no one subjected to any maltreatment under the defensive strategy adopted on 24th Rajab, 7 Hijra, on the occasion of Day of Khyber’s Victory while the international Taghoot was rooting out the oppressed and Muslim nations in the name of rooting out oppression. He said terrorism has been termed the biggest oppression while the Islamic World itself was being subjected to terrorism at present. He said Muslims are being victimised in Indian State of Gujerat and Kashmiris are being massacred in Held Kashmir while Sharon was not only rooting out one locality after the other in Palestine but was not sparing even infants.

The TNFJ chief said Pakistan is the target of aggression since two and a half decades despite issuance of Anti-Terrorism Ordinance. He said murder of a Shia scholar and school teacher Bashir Ahmed alias Danish Alvi in Hashtnagar area of Charsadda yesterday and murder of seven persons belonging to a Christian NGO stand witness to our claim. He said we always expressed our hatred against terrorism and terrorists. He said elections were on our head but the country is confronted with anarchy, disappointment, unrest and fearness. On the other hand, he said, India was ready to commit aggression against us with full force.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that in these circumstances, powers that be and all patriotic forces are under the obligation to give priority to the integrity, solidarity, honour and dignity of the nation and the country over their personal and party interests while the government should go all out to restore peace in the country.

Meanwhile, Malik-e-Ashtar, Convener of the Central Committee of the TNFJ has nominated conveners for all the four provinces including Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas to organise programmes on this occasion. According to details, the conveners nominated are: Syed Abu Jafar Naqvi (Punjab), Ahmed Barkat (Sindh), Sardar Tariq Jafri (Balochistan), Sardar Ali Gul (Sarhad), Akhund Ghulam Muhammad Ammoni (Northern Areas), and Riaz Hussain Kazmi (Azad Kashmir).

The Central Convener has appealed the Muslim Ummah to thwart every conspiracy of enemies of Islam, colonial powers and her Zionist and Hindu agents by displaying exemplary unity and brotherhood on the occasion of “Youm-e-Babul Hawaij”. He also appealed them to offer special prayers for solidarity of Pakistan, supremacy of the Islamic World and for the success of continued struggle for independence of Kashmir and Palestine.

RAWALPINDI, September 28: The two-day high level meeting presided over by Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan ended here on Saturday. According to Haider Syed, Central Secretary Information of the Tehreek, various resolutions concerning national and international issues were adopted during the meeting. A resolution expressing grave concern over the law and order situation prevailing in the country strongly condemned continued acts of terrorism and felt that the main reason behind incidents of murder and arson was that the Anti-Terrorism Presidential Ordinance was not implemented on terrorist groups in letter and spirit as a result of which some banned groups were roaming about freely rather participating in elections by registering themselves with new names. The resolution strongly demanded from the Election Commission to cancel such registrations and disqualify them from taking part in elections. The participants of the meeting called upon the government to implement the Anti-Terrorism Presidential Ordinance strictly and deal the culprits playing with human lives and their patrons with an iron hand so as to root out terrorism, as they do not deserve any relaxation.

Another resolution termed the terrorism incident in the office of a Christian NGO, Peace and Justice, Quetta Express incident near Sibi, and other incidents reported from elsewhere as open acts of terrorism. Yet another resolution while strongly condemning the attack on a Hindu temple and anti-Muslim riots in Indian Gujerat made it clear that whether it is September 11 New York incident, Afghanistan, Iraq, Kashmir, Palestine or any place elsewhere, we consider attack or destruction of any temple, church, mosque, Imambargah and Khanqah commensurate to humiliating humanity. That is why, the resolution said, Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya’s point of view from the very beginning has been that a terrorist keeps no religion, Maslak or a country but he is a terrorist only and should be seen and handled in that context only.

The participants of the meeting opined that the reality behind the war against terrorism declared by George Bush in the garb of September 11 incident was his war against the oppressed and Muslim nations while Hindu and Zionist religious feelings are behind the extremist, aggressive and expansionist designs of India and Israel which their agencies never tried to bring to fore. All their energies are being utilised day and night to prove the Islamic World as extremist and violent. The resolution made it clear that colonial powers first invented the term of fundamentalism, then orthodox, and then labelled them as extremists. In other words they tried to cause harm to the Islamic World in whatever way they could do so. The resolution pointed out that Sharon in Palestine and Vajpayee against Pakistan in Held Kashmir were following the policy of aggression following religious extremism. Therefore, the ICC was under the obligation to give severe punishment to chief of the colonial powers i.e. America, its agents Sharon, Vajpayee and Tony Blair terming them war criminals. The participants opined that Israeli and Indian interference in Palestine and Kashmir is an act of open terrorism therefore Kashmiris and Palestinians have the right to defend against this aggression.

Another resolution termed American threat to take action against Iraq in case the United Nations does not adopt a new Resolution against Iraq as humiliation of the United Nations and called upon the world organisation to suspend the American membership if America attacked Iraq without taking United Nations permission rather take action against her by forming a coalition against her. The resolution demanded from the United Nations that like pressure is being exerted to adopt a new Resolution against Iraq, likewise it should get its Resolutions about Kashmir and Palestine implemented giving Palestinians and Kashmiris their basic right to vote. The resolution lamented that 57-member OIC did not resolve even a single issue of the Islamic World despite passage of more than 27 years. In these circumstances when the Islamic World was in the grip of colonial powers, the OIC was under the obligation to adopt a combined strategy by considering the problems faced by any Islamic State as a problem of the whole Islamic World and attack on any Muslim State as an attack on whole of the Islamic World.

The high level meeting of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan made it clear that motherland Pakistan was created in the name of Islam and love for the motherland is a part and parcel of our Iman. It said that under the Article 2 of the 1973 Constitution, Islam is the official religion of Pakistan therefore rights should be given to all schools of thought on the basis of equality to restore a real Islamic democratic society in the country. In this connection, it said, the government was bound to implement the May 21, 1985 Junejo-Moosavi agreement for resolving the long-standing Shia problems.

Yes another resolution while strongly condemning the deployment of Indian forces on Pakistani borders made it clear that every child of Pakistan would prefer death and fight shoulder to shoulder with Pakistan’s armed forces for country’s defence. It said that India should keep it in mind that Pakistan was a nuclear power now, we could die but could not be diverted from the right path. The resolution said that if international powers desire to restore peace in South Asia and Middle East then they should keep in mind that the only way to do so was to resolve Kashmir and Palestine issues in the light of the United Nations Resolutions keeping to the desire of the respective people.

The meeting decided to observe 25th Rajab-ul-Murajjab as “Youm-e-Babul Hawaij” throughout the country making the Youm-e-Shahadat of Hazrat Imam Musa Kazim (A.S.). A Markazi Committee has been formed in this connection and Malik-e-Ashtar has been nominated as its Convener.

RAWALPINDI, September 27: Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has announced its election policy for the general elections to be held on October 10. The policy was announced at a high level meeting of the Tehreek presided over by Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. The meeting also discussed situation prevailing in the country. Agha Moosavi while announcing the election policy termed electoral politics on sectarian, lingual, and regional basis fatal for the nation and the country and the basic reason behind the menace of terrorism as a result of which mosques and Imambargahs turned into places of murder and thousands of innocent people fell victim to it.

Agha Moosavi said following this principled point of view neither TNFJ is participating in general elections nor has get electoral symbol allotted for itself. However, he advised Maktab-e-Tashayyo to use its vote for such parties and candidates in October 10 general elections who defend Nazria-e-Asaasi (basic ideology), support Federation of Pakistan, share grief with the people, express hatred with oppressors, and support and help the oppressed and have-nots. He termed government steps in giving right of vote to 18 years old and declaring minimum qualification as B.A. for the candidates as ‘sound’ but called upon the government at the same time to ensure that the elections are to be held in a free and fair manner giving up the impression that it was supporting some particular parties and candidates.

The TNFJ chief said Islam is the universal system and a complete code of life that guarantees survival and blessings for mankind. That is why it enjoys full grip over every department of human life and provides guidance in all affairs including political, social, economic, spiritual and material matters. He said the Islamic Manifesto is the religion of God. He said Pakistan was created in the name of Islam but it owes its existence to democracy. He said the essence of democracy demands that the government belongs to people. In other words, all sections of society should follow the government laws and do not allow any type of indiscipline in the country. He said neither the people nor the rulers are above law. He said in a people’s government, all people enjoy the right to resolve their issues directly and if rulers do not respect the desires of their people they are deprived of power.

Agha Moosavi said elections should be free and fair in every manner. Terming the invitation to foreign observers to visit Pakistan to monitor election “interference in Pakistan’s internal affairs” he asked whether any foreign country even invited Pakistan to monitor elections there? He said presence of opposition is necessary in a democratic system. He said people enjoy their basic rights in a democratic system but Ahle Tashayyo are being denied of even their basic rights in Pakistan. Condemning the excess and injustice with Shia students in Gilgit regarding Deenyat (Islamic Studies) curriculum he demanded from the government not to disturb the already settled issue of separate Deenyat for Shia students. He demanded to ensure teaching of separate Deenyat curriculum to Shia students all over the country as envisaged in the May 21, 1985 Junejo-Moosavi agreement.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said the nation does not recognise sectarian parties as political, and Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya considers electoral politics in the name of sect against the honour and dignity of the country and an invitation to death and we still keep this point of view. He said Pakistan is not an asset of any particular group as it was a result of combined efforts of all schools of thought. He said a group had not only opposed Pakistan movement but also termed democracy un-Islamic and struggle for Pakistan movement atheism, Quaid-i-Azam as Kafir-e-Azam, they could not be considered ideologists but expedients whether they join any alliance to grab power. He said a particular section of society considers politics as its property; the doors of politics were and are still closed on gentlemen, poor and the oppressed. He said the same particular class monopolises politics and their offspring still dominate this department. In this situation, he said, protecting and defending the oppressed, poor and working class is essential for which the people should make correct use of their vote in the oncoming elections and utilise their vote for such candidates and parties that are free of all types of biases. He demanded ideological representation for Maktab-e-Tashayyo in all departments on the basis of equality.
