ISLAMABAD, January 6: In commemoration of blood-stained sacrifice rendered by grandson of Prophet (SAWW) Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and his near and dear ones in the desert of Karbala for defense of divine religion and Muhammadan Shariah, chain of Majalis and Zuljinah processions marking Ashra-e-Muharramul Haram are in continuation in motherland Pakistan like other global parts with due respect and honour.
In federal capital Islamabad, central procession of Zuljinah, Alam, Taboot and Gehwara Shehzada Ali Asghar (AS) was taken out under the leadership of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali shah Moosavi from Markazi Masjid and Imambargah Jamiatul Murtaza G-9/4. Besides dozens of matmi groups thousands of Azadaran-e-Mazloom-e-Karbala participated.
Talking to representatives of print and electronic media during the procession, Agha Moosavi said the greatest and unparallel sacrifice offered by Imam Hussain (AS) was not for any State, sect or faith rather for whole humanity that is why Karbala is fountainhead of struggle of oppressed and have-not the world over without any discrimination.
Agha Moosavi quoted a narration by Hazrat Omar bin Khattab written in Hazrat Ali Hajveri’s famous book Kashful Mahjoob that once holy Prophet (SAWW) was in a position that his both palms were on earth and his dear grandson Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) was riding on his back. Hazrat Omar said: Ne’mal Markab (what a good conveyance!), the Prophet (SAWW) replied: ‘Ne’mar Rakib’ (what a good rider!). Moosavi said how great status-holder would be that rider whose conveyance was Prophet (SAWW) in his childhood!!
The TNFJ chief said Pakistan was made in the name of Islam; Pakistan means La Ilaha Il lallah and Moinudddin Chishti Ajmeri has declared the very base of La Ilaha Hussain (AS); therefore Hussainiyat in is the foundations of our motherland and its survival, integrity and defense is hidden in Hussainiyat also. Iblisi powers from the day one have been active to promote biases so that Muslims could not become united. It desires to distribute countries into sects. We thwarted this conspiracy and boldly said that he who creates rift among Shia and Sunni, he is neither Sunni nor Shia rather an Iblisi agent, he added.
Three decades have been passed that terrorism that began with hathora has reached to suicide attacks which is a heinous colonial conspiracy. Deed of a faction or an individual is not a proof that here exists sectarian conflict. It is an open terrorism that is condemnable. He said we are those who took control of Secretariat and did not harm anyone; 25 years back courted arrests during 8-month-long peaceful agitation in which Ahle Sunnat (Sunni) brethren even Christians courted arrests and said HUssain is owned by all Hussain is owned by the LORD. The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Moosavi said on the instance of TNFJ, interior ministry, all the four provinces and azad Kashmir the government has set up Muharram Control Rooms and Azadari Cells but SArhad and Punjab administration has not informed TNFJ regarding this till-to-date. TNFJ’s Muharram Committee Azadari Cell has formed control rooms throughout the country to ease azadaran and for establishment of peace; ony in Sindh Province, these cells are working at 54 places. He said TNFJ’s all efforts are filled with Hobbul Watan minal Iman (patriotism is part of faith). Meanwhile, the procession while performing seena zani and matam reached at Muhammadi Chowk after touching throught itys designated routes. There Qamar Haider Zaidi, Ch. Mushtaq and Dr. Nazir HUssain addressed the azadaran. Later, Azadaran performed Zanjir Zani and presented pursa of Mazloom-e-Karbala. The historic procession after passing through its designated routes culminated at Jamia Imam as-Sadiq Karachi Company where Matamdaraan of Vanhar area performed Noha Khwani and Zanjir Zani in their unique style. Mukhtar Students Organization, MO, Ibrahim Scouts, Ismail and Ishaq and Babul Ilm groups, Mukhtar Generation and Mukhtar Force took part in arrangements. Heavy contingent of police, high officials of administration, TNFJ IslamaBAD Muharram Committee members escorted the procession. Ending dua was offered by Allama Zahid Kazmi The Chief Organizer Syed Shujat Ali Bokhari paid thanks to the procession participants, azadaran and administration on the conclusion of the program.
ISLAMABAD, January 4: Allama Basharat Hussain Imami, District Convener of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Muharram Committee Azadari Cell has said that Azadars are facing immense problems owing to continued load-shedding during Muharramul Haram, therefore, this problem should be resolved on priority so that the enemy could not reap the benefit of it. These views were expressed by him while addressing a Press Conference at Rawalpindi-Islamabad Press Club Camp Office Islamabad along with TNFJ District Muharram Committee Azadari Cell office-bearers Allama Guftar Hussain Sadiqi, Zulfiqar Ali Raja, and Prof. Ghulam Abbas Haideri. He said load-shedding is the problem of the whole nation therefore according to the demand of the Markaz-e-Tashayyo of TNFJ load-shedding should not be carried out from Maghrib to 3.00 a.m. otherwise WAPDA and the government will be held responsible for any incident or untoward mishap. Allama Basharat Hussain Imami said the Code of Azadari issued by the Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi guarantees restoration of peace throughout the country and stability of the motherland and it is followed by the whole nation and Majalis-e-Aza are being held and Azadari processions are being taken out throughout the country under it. Terming the setting up of Azadari Cells at the Ministry of Interior and in Azad Kashmir and linking them with the TNFJs Central Muharram Committee Azadari Cell a good omen, he also demanded from the provincial governments to set up Muharram Control Rooms immediately and link them with the TNFJ Muharram Committee Azadari Cell so that any problems confronted by the Azadars could be resolved and any possible untoward incident could be avoided. He expressed his astonishment that why the provincial governments are delaying the setting up of Control Rooms?
Basharat Imami said that countrywide mourning begins throughout the world as soon as the Muharram moon is sighted but, he lamented, our rulers and politicians are busy in pulling legs of each other. He said the Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi had demanded through the Code of Azadari issued by him that political activities should be avoided during the Ayyam-e-Aza and the mourning of Hussain (A.S.) should be given priority over all other matters because no grief is bigger than Gham-e-Hussain and there is no oppressed bigger than Hussain (A.S.) and there is no protest bigger than Azadari, therefore all those who are giving protest calls during Ayyam-e-Aza are actually unaware of the philosophy of Aza and we condemn such activities. He said at present the motherland Pakistan is confronted with different crises. He said on one hand, our perpetual enemy is increasing diplomatic and military pressure while missile and espionage plane attack are continuing on our western borders, on the other. He made it clear that the whole nation is united on defence of the motherland and will not hesitate in offering any sacrifice following the Hussaini spirit to save the motherland in case of any aggression. He said Muharramul Haram is the month of grief but, he lamented, that the media was still giving dancing and entertaining programmes. He said Imam Hussain (A.S.) does not belong to any particular Maslak, country or group but he is the Mohsin of whole humanity. He said Pakistan is an Islamic State and Islam does not allow such Munkiraat, therefore, immediate notice should be taken of such activities and special instruction should be issued to relevant organizations in this connection. He said such intelligentsia and speakers are invited at the channels that fan biases which is tantamount to enmity with the motherland. He said we demand from all responsible to correct this situation and bring real representatives of all Makatib to fore avoiding fill in the blank. Allama Imami said that some local governments have imposed restrictions on some ulema and zakireen just to settle the score which is not fair because this trend is affecting the poor zakireen and ulema economically. The government should lift these restrictions immediately, he added. He made it clear that Ayyam-e-Aza are not restricted to 10 days only but Azadari rites are observed till 8th Rabiul Awwal, therefore, protective measure should be extended to that date. He resolved to continue following the Code of Azadari announced by Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, in letter and spirit.
RAWALPINDI, December 31: An important meeting of the Markazi Muharram Committee Azadari Cell of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan was presided over by Markazi Convener Syed Shujaat Ali Bokhari which reviewed the arrangements of Muharramul Haram in detail. Bu Ali Mehdi, Additional Secretary of the Committee presenting a report in the meeting said that Control Rooms have been set up in Federal Capital Islamabad and the four provinces including Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas to facilitate Azadars in Muharramul Haram keeping the respect and dignity of Ayyam-e-Aza and interest of the nation and the country in mind. These Control Rooms will continue working round the clock till 8th Rabiul Awwal. He said the Azadars can contact telephone nos. 051-4410180, 4840625, 5876402, 5384663 for solution of any possible problem. He said Syed Tahiri Shah, Nasir Abbas Jafri, Khizr Abbas Naqvi, Mukhtar Ali Bangash, Syed Rehmat Ali Shah, Musawwar Naqvi, have been nominated representatives in America, Europe, Australia, Middle East, Far East, Qatar, and Africa. Syed Shujaat Ali Bokhari in his address on the occasion appealed the Azadaran-e-Hussain to strictly follow the Code of Azadari announced by Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi and give priority to Azadari over all other matters highlighting the exemplary and invaluable sacrifice of the Farzand-e-Rasool (A.S.). He said they should prove on the world through practical display of unity and brotherhood that we all Makatab are united and are a concrete wall to thwart our combined enemy. Shujaat Bokhari demanded from the government to issue directive to the Administration from top to bottom to follow the Code of Azadari announced by Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. He said Karbala is that great battlefield of righteousness and evil where Imam Aali Muqaam (A.S.) presented that great sacrifice along with his faithful near and dear ones that has taught the conscious people how to live and die with honour. That is why, he added, every nation presents homage to Hussain Ibne Ali (A.S.) in their own style. Deputy Convener Markazi Muharram Committee Azadari Cell Ali Hussain, Secretary Syed Aala Haider and other members of the Committee attended the meeting.
RAWALPINDI, December 29: The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that Shahzada-e-Konain Nawasa-e-Rasool us-Saqlain Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) presented the greatest sacrifice in the plain of Karbala for supremacy of Illahi principles, dignity of humanity and protection and defence of Shariat-e-Muhammadi that is a complete example to follow for the world of humanity. This was stated by him in a special message issued on the occasion of Muharramul Haram (Ayyam-e-Aza). He said Imam Aali Muqam (A.S.) gave an exemplary and practical lesson in Nainawa some 1370 years ago that the Islamic World in general, and inhabitants of the motherland in particular should understand and follow practically so as to learn the principles of freedom and get rid of the international colonial powers, Hindus and Zionists by practising the same getting the greatest nation of Pakistan free from the satanic forces and give them the sense and knowledge so that the international colonial powers and their agents could not see the motherland with a bad eye. Agha Moosavi said that Muharram is the month of reminding the brave stories of Karbala in which the Shahadat of Nawasa-e-Rasool Hazrat Hussain Ibne Ali (A.S.) added a new chapter in the Islamic World and won the world of humanity through his sacrifices, patience, forbearance, courage and firmness. He said respecting those greatest stories is actually recognizing the Godly justice and supremacy of Zuhd-o-Taqwa. He said the objective of observing the memory of Syed-ush-Shuhada Imam Hussain (A.S.) is to facilitate the Muslims the world over to restore and stabilize their relationship with the Representatives of Allah and take a lesson from the utterances and deeds of the people trained by the Maktab-e-Mustafvi and Afkaar-e-Murtazvi. He said this Maktab has the right to guide the freedom fighters on Iraq, Afghanistan, Kashmir and Palestine with the best line of action and practical struggle. The TNFJ chief said that Majalis-e-Aza and the Azadari processions of the Maktab-e-Shabbiri are the perpetual protest against oppression and brutality and the same could be fully utilised as far as freedom and independence is concerned. He said Hussain (A.S.) and his pious Ashaab and Ansaar are alive even after their Shahadat while the followers of tyranny and Yazidiyyat are roaming around as live bodies. As a poet says: Agha Moosavi said the whole nation should practically display brotherhood and mutual understanding because Muslims are brothers to each other and one brother enjoys individual and collective rights over the other religious brother. He said every man and woman should respect each other in this month and highlight Islamic brotherhood so as to thwart the heinous designs of enemies of the religion and the motherland who are bent upon following the policy of divide and rule and weakening us. He said the sanctity of Muharram demands from us not to entangle with each other and avoid causing harm to the nation and the motherland. If we begin our years in the light of principles of Nawasa-e-Rasool Hussain Ibne Ali (A.S.) with a commitment then no satanic power could cause any harm to us. The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Moosavi made it clear that Quran has honoured four months with honour and dignity in which Muharramul Haram is included. He said new year of the Ummat-e-Wast is based on Asaas and Hijrat that began the new era of Islam and religion and such an Islamic State came into being that provided mirage to the Islamic society. The honour and respect of this month increased manifold with the sacrifice of Nawasa-e-Rasool Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.). He said remembering the Shahadat-e-Uzma of Karbala guarantees success here and the Hereafter.
RAWALPINDI, December 28: The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has called upon the countrymen to beware of elements fanning hatred and enmity during Muharramul Haram and all schools of thought should preach their beliefs, ideologies, and thought in a positive manner. This was stated by him while announcing a 14-point Code of Azadari in connection with the oncoming month of Muharramul Haram at a crowded Press Conference at headquarters of Maktab-e-Tashayyo Ali Masjid here on Sunday.
Agha Moosavi said that Pakistan has been the target of worst terrorism for the last 25 years and the international colonial powers through our perpetual enemy India has staged Bombay bomb blasts drama putting the whole blame on Pakistan. He said the Indian aggressive designs could only be checked through the spirit of Hussainiyyat and the Pakistani nation will prove itself a concrete wall against the enemy. He called upon the government to get the Anti-Terrorism Act implemented strictly, post army at sensitive places, keep a strict eye on the activities of the banned organizations, set up Muharram Azadari Cells immediately at Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Religious Affairs, and at all the four provinces including Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas and should also publicize the same. Moreover, these Cells should be directed to keep a contact with TNFJ Muharram Committee Azadari Cell so as to resolve the possible problems of the Azadars thwarting the enemy designs with mutual cooperation.
Answering a question about the restriction on use of loudspeaker he said, the rulers and the politicians themselves use the loudspeaker therefore imposing restriction on use of loudspeaker by ulema and zakireen is not a solution to the problem rather love with the religion, motherland and brotherhood should be preached through the loudspeaker while action should be taken against those who use this equipment for spreading anarchy and hatred. He lamented that people belonging to the banned terrorist organizations are included in the Peace Committees and the Mutahidda Ulema Board formed by the Government of the Punjab that indicates duplicity in words and deeds. Similarly, he added, these elements are also visible in the Government and Opposition alliances and rulers also send them invitations. He said movements and organizations are not the name of any building, it is the name of people, therefore, the government restriction was not on the names of the organizations but on the terrorist elements working with them who are still roaming about freely and sit along side the government and the opposition as a result of which terrorism could not controlled effectively despite taking all out steps.
Answering another question, the TNFJ chief said non-representative people are included in all government institutions including Islamic Council of Ideology and Sighting of the Moon Committee. He made it clear that only those people will be considered representatives who are nominated by the representative organizations of the recognized schools of thought. He said Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya is the only representative organization of the Maktab-e-Tashayyo constitutionally, morally, and lawfully with which the government had signed agreements on July 6, 1980 and May 21, 1985 in the light of which a 16-member Committee was constituted to discuss the Shia Demands recommendation of which are available in the record of the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Answering yet another question, Agha Moosavi condemning the Israeli attacks on Gaza termed it the result of weakness of Muslims. He said had the Islamic World, OIC and Arab League summoned their meetings when Pakistan was accused of Bombay incident and had they openly stated that Pakistan is not involved in this incident, then Israel would not have dared carry out these strikes today. He said the why OIC and Arab League not summon their meetings when Kashmiris and Pakistan are attacked? He made it clear that dividing Muslim Ummah into Arab and Ajam is commensurate with strengthening the colonial powers. The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi announcing a 14-point Code of Azadari said: The government should follow the May 21, 1985 Junejo-Moosavi agreement in connection with bringing out Azadari processions peacefully; Muharram Azadari Cells should be set up at the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Religious Affairs, and in all the four Provinces including Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas. These cells should be publicised and should be directed to keep a close contact with the Control Room of Central Muharram Committee of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan. These cells should remain intact from 1st Muharram to 8th Rabi-ul-Awwal; The holy month of Muharram is commensurate with Nawasa-e-Rasool Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) and his die-hard supporters but our electronic media keeps limits itself to Hamd-o-Naat. It is necessary to highlight the great sacrifices of Martyrs of Karbala in a positive and effective manner, and should avoid Munkiraat. All types of music, and comedy programmes should remain suspended during the Ashra-e-Muharram; The Government should not enforce any such law that may encroach upon the rights of anyone. Effective and timely protective measures should be taken before hand during Majalis-e-Aza and Azadari processions at sensitive places; Special arrangements for light and cleanliness should be made at the places of Majalis-e-Aza and on the routes of Matmi processions all over the country and load-shedding should not be carried out during this period; The Government should direct the District Administration throughout the country to avoid spreading fear and harassment amongst Azadars and organisers of Majalis and processions rather fully cooperate with them in performing Azadari rites so that Azadars could perform their Azadari rites in peace; Preaching of biases should be prohibited. Terrorism should be rooted out because a terrorist keeps no Maktab and a country, therefore, attaching with any Maslak itself is an act of terrorism; God forbid, if any problem is faced at any place, the problem should be resolved through the Local Administration and local Muharram Committee of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya. If it remains unresolved then the Markazi Muharram Committee of the TNFJ should be consulted; The organizers of Majalis and processions should take protective measures on self-help basis and should remain alert and express hatred against those elements who promote hatred, enmity and biases because one who preaches differences is neither Shia or Sunni but the enemy of Islam and Pakistan; All schools of thought should preach their beliefs and ideologies in a positive manner, and highlight the achievements of Imam Aali Muqaam (A.S.) and his near and dear ones because Hussain (A.S.) belongs to all; Ulema, waizeen and zakireen, in their addresses and speeches, should give priority to unity and brotherhood, survival of the motherland, and integrity and solidarity of the country. All leaders should suspend all types of political activities during Ashra-e-Muharram. Azadars and mourners should give priority to Azadari over everything; Women should follow the seerat of Mukhadderat-e-Ismat and Taharat and men should follow the seerat and character of the Mashaheer of the religion and Shariat. Discipline and timings should be followed during Majalis-e-Aza and Matmi processions. All such activities that may be contrary to the spirit of Azadari should be avoided; The dignity and honour of all Makatib and Masalak including the minorities should be taken care of; The organisers of Majalis-e-Aza are fully responsible, through Shariat, to follow the Code of Azadari and also advise others to do so. The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi made it clear that Azadari of Imam Mazloom (A.S.) is dearer to us than any other thing in which neither our forefathers allowed anyone to create any hurdle nor we would allow the same. He said the dignity and honour of Muharramul Haram is crystal clear from its name. He said the Imam Aali Muqam (A.S.) presented exemplary sacrifice of his life along with his 72 companions, near and dear ones, and offspring in the hot plain of Karbala to disseminate the message of Jadd-e-Rasool (SAAW), root out oppression and brutality, and protection of human honour and dignity making the dream of Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S.) true. Agha Moosavi said Imam Hussain (A.S.) handed over a thoughtful standard of humanity for those who desire independence and freedom. He said the exemplary sacrifice presented by Hussain (A.S.) has no match in the human history. He said the basic reason of colonial enmity with motherland Pakistan is its ideology and being an atomic power. He said we are observing Muharram in a situation where we are surrounded from all around, therefore, the followers of Hussain (A.S.) are under the obligation to proved to the colonial powers and their agents by becoming untied and pious that they have the ability to thwart every conspiracy hatched by them.
