Umm-ul Banin WF: Like men, onus of protection of signs of Allah comes on women shoulders

ISLAMABAD, March 5: Daughters of the nation will not hesitate in extending any kind of sacrifice by following in the footsteps of lion-hearted ladies of Karbala to deal with colonial challenges being faced by Islamic world, solidarity, and to confront dangers being faced by motherland Pakistan’s integrity, solidarity, peace and development.

This was resolved in the concluding communiqué of high-level meeting of Umm-ul Banin WF. Raeesa-tul Hoffaz Zainab Alvia opened the session with recitation of Holy Quran. Chairperson Umm-ul Banin WF Umme Laila Mashhadi presided over the meeting which was largely attended by representative delegations from all the four provinces including Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas.

The communiqué, presented by chief adviser Umm-ul Banin WF Syeda Bintul Huda (double gold medalist), said after the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (AS), resolve, determination, courage and boldness with which Ahle Haram fulfilled the duty of a sailor to protect the ship of Islam, history of Islam is proud of it and human history is in great wonder over it.

“This day where deliverer of humanity – Islam – is facing a new Karbala, and the blood of Muslims is being shed ungrudgingly from Kashmir to Palestine and Afghanistan to Iraq, there the existence of Pakistan – the only Islamic ideological State on the earth face – is confronted with terrorism, biases and dissensions. To get rid of all this, awakening spirit of Karbala is the most important need of the hour.”

The communiqué strongly condemned terrorism being committed across the globe including Pakistan, trampling grace and honour of holy sites, digging of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and American threats to Iran. Solidarity was expressed with the oppressed and have-nots in the world including Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan and Iraq.

The meeting expressed its full and unshaken confidence on the Markaz of Maktab-e-Tashayyo – Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya.

Addressing the session, Umme Laila Mashhadi said creation of Umm-ul Banin WFP had been deemed necessary since long. But with the advent of this Muharram-ul Haram, anti-Islam and –Pakistan powers made terrorism order of the day. Terror incidents happened in Bannu, Peshawar, D.I.Khan, Quetta and Islamabad besides martyrdom of TNFJ’s brave and daring leader Jawwad Hussain Jawwad made every patriotic and religion-loving person to think that in this critical situation when from a common man to judiciary, legislature, administration and the most important places are not far from the reach of terrorists, therefore, every individual of the nation will have to come in the working field to eradicate conspiracies of colonial chief – that is busy in destabilizing Pakistan – and its agents i.e. Hindus and Zionists.

Keeping in view this need, Umm-ul Banin WF was established on February 19 because like men, onus of protection of Mosques, Imambargahs, Tabarrukaat, gatherings of Mahafil, Majalis and jaloos-e-aza comes on the shoulders of women. That is why, this organization is named after that great and daring lady who was brave, brilliant and knowledgeable whose four lion-hearted sons took the responsibility of protection in Karbala. She was posted on the lofty pedestal of courage, valor, excellence, pity and faith.

Umme Laila Mashhadi said Umm-ul Banin is called mother of that lions who keep an eagle eye.

She expressed hope that women will present themselves at the fore-front to perform the most important duty of defense of Signs of Allah.

They resolved to fulfill their duties with sincerity while treading on the footsteps of holy ladies of Ahle Bait (AS).

Senior Deputy Chairperson Mrs Zahra Gul presented manifesto of the Umm-ul Banin WFP and declared the names of office-bearers that were: Umme Laila Mashhadi Chairperson, Mrs Zahra Gul Senior Deputy Chairperson, Mrs Abeeda-tuz Zahra Moosavi advocate Deputy Chairperson, Mrs Tasneem Bokhari General Secretary, Mrs Aqeel Naqvi Supreme Commander, Wajiha Malik Secretary Finance, Saira Jafri Office Secretary, and Quratul Ain Secretary Information.

Prays were made for end of problems being faced by the Islamic world and solidarity and integrity of Pakistan on the culmination of the session.

RAWALPINDI, March 3: The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi condemning the Multan bomb blast termed it a heinous conspiracy to spread anarchy and differences in motherland Pakistan and to destabilise it.

In a statement issued from the headquarters of Maktab-e-Tashayyo he said the Multan bomb blast is the continuation of incidents beginning from Bannu incidents before Muharramul Haraam in which DIG Abid Hussain was killed. He said many incidents took place in Sarhad province during Muharram; first it was a suicide bomb attack in Peshawar in which high police officers, public representative and people were killed, in Dera Ismail Khan Provincial leader of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Jawwad Hussain Jawwad was martyred, in Islamabad a government official kissed martyrdom at Airport incident, in Balochistan a judge and several lawyers were martyred in day light, a woman minister was killed in Punjab and now caravan of judge of a special court has been targeted in Multan. He said international colonial powers and their agents are responsible for all this who desire to reap their interest by increasing pressure on Pakistan.

Agha Moosavi said that we are still behind our point of view that a terrorist keeps no Maslak or a country, therefore, attaching any terrorist with any particular Maslak or a country is tantamount to benefit Satanic forces.

Firstly, he said the government is under the obligation to strictly implement the Anti-Terrorism laws so as to root out terrorism from the country, and secondly she should identify the unseen powers that were sabotaging the Anti-Terrorism laws. Thirdly, those terrorists who have had been banned but were still roaming about freely and working with new names should be tackled with an iron hand. He lamented that both the government and the opposition were making these elements sit on their right and left, their publicity of media should also be taken care of. Fourth, he said, the Satanic forces are continuously trying to create rift between the provinces and the Federation, therefore, the Federal Government should avoid accusing the provincial governments in such circumstances while at the same time provincial governments should also avoid accusing the Federation. Fifth, the government should not open Pandora’s Box viz. all powers residing in Pakistan and avoid making religious and political powers her foes while the people are also under the obligation not to avoid strikes and protest calls because all this would be beneficial for our combined and perpetual enemy, therefore, they should record their protest by adopting a peaceful policy, he added.

The TNFJ chief called upon all private and public departments to form teams of their own people for their protection, people should remain alert, keep their eyes and ears open and recognise their friends and foes because the purpose of this heinous conspiracy actually is to root out unity, brotherhood and mutual understanding amongst the people. He called upon the government to call the ambassadors of all such States and record her protest with them who are used to accuse Pakistan for any incident taking place in their own country. He posed a question to such States saying that Pakistan has been on the target of terrorism for the last three decades and do they accept that they are responsible for what is happening in Pakistan?

Agha Moosavi said that putting barbed wires or constructing walls on borders will not root out terrorism, our problems and woes are similar, we would have to adopt a joint and strong strategy against terrorism and terrorists and would have to consider attack on any Maslak or a country as an attack on the whole humanity because our enemy was following the policy of divide and rule from the very beginning but we would have to prove that we will never ever divide and will not also accept the evil forces.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Moosavi said that if the atheist world could unite then why the oppressed people and the Islamic World could not unite? He demanded from the government not to ignore the bereaved families of martyrs and the affected, give exemplary punishment to the terrorists as only then terrorism could be rooted out.

Central Cabinet Meeting passes resolutions … govt urged to ensure law and order on Chehlum Shuhada-e-Karbala, kite-flying and terrorism condemned, US pressure on Pak rejected

RAWALPINDI, February 27: The meeting of the Central Cabinet of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan concluded after adopting different resolutions about important national and international issues.

Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi presided over the meeting. According to Central Spokesman of the Tehreek, Syed Qamar Zaidi, the participants of the meeting through a resolution expressed complete solidarity with Kashmiri and Palestinian freedom fighters and expressed grave concern that despite passage of more than half a century, the issues of Kashmir and Palestine remained unresolved, lakhs of people were martyred, thousands put behind the bars and are facing problems, while honour and dignity of the oppressed is being trampled.

The resolution said the main responsibility of remaining these issues unresolved lay on the United Nations because they got the East Timor issue resolved but Kashmiris and Palestinians are being punished for being Muslims. The resolution made it clear that permanent solution of Kashmir and Palestine issues lay in implementation of the United Nations Resolutions so as to remove the dangers hovering over the Middle East and the South Asia. The resolution called upon India to pullout from Held Kashmir and Israel to pullout from the occupied areas of Syria and Lebanon.

Another resolution lamented that Afghanistan and Iraq were destructed in the garb of New York incident and America should pull out its forces from both these countries so that they can enjoy autonomy and protect their integrity. It said that United Nations Peace Keeping Force should be deployed in these countries and the people there should be given their right to rule according to their own wishes. The resolution lamenting the silence of the representative organisation of the Islamic World i.e. OIC said the allied forces reaped the benefit of their silence. They first rooted out against Afghanistan, then committed aggression against Iraq and were now finding excuses to target Syria and Iran.

The resolution made it clear that Muslims have OIC platform with them the emergent meeting of which should be summoned straight away and a joint and strong strategy should be devised to meet internal as well as external challenges and attack on any Muslim and oppressed State should be considered as an attack on the whole humanity.

The resolution said that dividing Islamic States into Masalik is tantamount to inviting death. It recalled that the United Nations came into being to resolve international issues and only five of its 199 member States enjoy veto power while 57 Islamic States have been deprived of this right under a conspiracy that is against the norms of justice and fair-play. The resolution demanded Permanent Seat in the Security Council and right to veto for OIC.

Yet another resolution called upon the United Nations to take notice of threats being hurled against the oppressed nations and the Islamic World day in and day out by America and her allies because American interference in other countries was not legal by any standards.

The resolution also called upon the Muslim rulers to adopt such a strategy through which aggression of Satanic forces could be checked and they could take their own decisions. The resolution made it clear that Pakistan played a front-line role to root out terrorism on international level but America and her allies were continuously increasing pressure on Pakistan by putting up a new demand every now and then. The resolution outrightly rejected this situation and made it crystal clear that we would keep relations with all countries on the basis of equality because Pakistan, by the Grace of God, is an atomic power.

The resolution condemning the Samjotha Express incident felt that Pakistan was the target of this terrorism in which more than three dozen Pakistanis died while India wanted to blame Pakistan for this incident. Therefore, we should give up subservient attitude because India was adopting Hippocratic behaviour with us.

The resolution strongly condemning the gory murders of TNFJ leader Jawwad Hussain Jawwad in Dera Ismail Khan, martyrdom of judges and lawyers in Quetta, and Shahadat of Azadaran, police officers and Nazimeen in incidents of terrorism demanded immediate arrest and exemplary punishment for them.

The TNFJ Central Cabinet, through a resolution, expressed grave concern that at a time when every citizen of the country was upset and busy in universal mourning of Nawasa-e-Rasool (A.S.), fatal act of kite-flying is commensurate of adding fuel to the fire for those who confronted the incidents of terrorism because the country is confronted with internal as well as external problems and we should seek dua through Muhammad (SAAW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) by bowing down in Bargah-e-Khudawandi. The resolution made it clear that had the people got up against kite-flying then the situation may go out of government’s control, therefore, it should be stopped forthwith so that our combined enemy could not reap the benefit out of it.

Another resolution declaring the Anti-Terrorism Act a good step taken by President Pervez Musharraf condemns the unseen elements that were sabotaging it and asked the government to take strict notice of this situation.

Yet another resolution said that like Muharramul Haraam, Safar-ul-Muzaffar is also a respectable month, therefore, the government should make special measures to ensure law and order situation during the Ashra Aseeran-e-Karbala being observed from 8-17 Safar and on the occasion of universal Chehlum Shuhada-e-Karbala from 18-20 Safar. The resolution concluded by saying that people should remain alert themselves so as to thwart any conspiracy and mischief of the enemies of religion and motherland.

RAWALPINDI, February 26: The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has strongly demanded from the government to make special arrangements to ensure law and order in the country on the occasion of Chehlum of Shuhada-e-Karbala (Arbaeen-e-Hussaini), and fresh directives should be issued to continue Azadari Cells (Control Rooms) in the Federal Ministry, all the four provinces, Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas till 8th Rabiul Awwal.

He stated this while delivering his Presidential address at the Central Cabinet meeting of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya which was attended by central office-bearers, and delegates from Federal Capital Islamabad, Azad Kashmir, Northern Areas and all the four provinces.

The report of Markazi Muharram Committee (Azadari Cell) of the Tehreek was also presented on this occasion.

Agha Moosavi in his address said that the government had done a good job by setting up Control Rooms all over the country during Muharramul Haram on our demand but these Control Rooms need to remain active till the end of Ayyam-e-Aza because the Majalis and Matmi processions continue till 8th Rabiul Awwal.

He called upon the people to remain alert and also keep a strict eye on terrorists and miscreants, make protective measures for Majalis and Matmi processions themselves while security measures should also be taken in the ladies programmes, the organisers should hold meetings before Majalis and precessions of Chehlum Shuhada-e-Karbala and make arrangements to ensure protective measures.

He said our borders are facing threats in the backdrop of international situation, the borders along side Afghanistan should be got declared international borders instead of fencing them. He said first Russia entered Afghanistan, then America got hold of it along with Mujahideen and later the same Mujahideen were declared terrorists and Taliban were imposed on them. At the same time, New York incident took place and on this critical juncture, Pakistan played a front-line role. He said there is need to get the international status of Pakistan-Afghanistan border recognised.

The TNFJ chief said that the policy of inviting trouble should be avoided and to negotiate with the real powers in Balochistan was the need of the hour because solution to all problems lay in mutual understanding. He said first Afghanistan was rooted out under an international conspiracy, then Iraq and Lebanon were shattered while Samrah incident took place last year as a result of which holy mazars of Hazrat Imam Ali Naqi (A.S.) and Hazrat Imam Hassan Askari (A.S.) were razed to ground. Strongly condemning the desecration of Masjid-e-Aqsa he said the Muslim States should first give attention to the restoration of the dignity of Islami Sha’air themselves and get the holy places in Saudi Arabia and Iraq constructed.

Agha Moosavi, making his point of view on possible American attack on Iran, said the Islamic States should adopt such a policy that may not create room for enemy’s aggression. He said OIC emergent meeting should be summoned where Muslim States should devise a courageous strategy to check the dangers posed to them. In this connection full efforts should be made for achieving a Permanent Seat in the Security Council and right to veto as it was the only way to save Iran and Syria from attacks.

He said Muslim is the brother of Muslim and we share our woes and happiness, super powers are fighting their war in Muslim States and they are sticking to Afghanistan and Iraq for this purpose. Emphasising the need of posting United Nations Peace Keeping force in Afghanistan and Iran permanently after the pullout of allied forces he said that if the Muslim States did not arrange for their own protection then the next target of the colonial powers, under the New World Order, would be Bait-Ullah.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Moosavi strongly condemning the acts of terrorism and suicide attacks going on all over the country said the suicide is ‘Haram’ in Islam. He said suicide attacks could only be avoided after getting rid of Bush because these are a part of American policy aimed at spreading anarchy and find an excuse to interfere. He demanded from President Pervez Musharraf to make the implementation of Anti-Terrorism Act effective and unveil the black sheep that encourage banned groups. He made it clear that there is no terrorism in any part of the world including Pakistan and Iraq rather it is only terrorism and we are still stick to our point of view that a terrorist keeps no Maslak or a country rather he is only a terrorist and should be tackled in that context and habit of declaring the incidents of terrorism as sectarianism should be given up. He said Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah has made Pakistan with true sincerity and hard work and its defence, development and stability is binding on us all that could only be possible if rights of all are honoured on the basis of equality.

Agha Moosavi demanded setting up of a high level Tribunal to probe all incidents of terrorism and arrest of the assassins of all Shuhada including that of Dera Ismail Khan TNFJ Sarhad Province Nazim-ul-Umoor Shaheed Jawwad Hussain Jawwad and give them exemplary punishment.

He made it clear that the objective of the TNFJ is to keep the sanctity and stability of Islam, Pakistan and its people and we will not budge even an inch from our pious goals of Wila-e-Ali (A.S.), Aza-e-Hussain (A.S.), Hurmat-e-Sadaat, and respect of Marjaiyyat. Neither we will bargain nor will allow anyone to do so about our beliefs and rights. He reiterated his resolve to thwart any conspiracy and mischief of enemies of humanity, religion and motherland through practical display of Sunni-Shia mutual understanding and brotherhood.

Youm-e-Noor reverently observed; Moosavi urges to adopt Seerat of Imam Moosa Kazim (A.S.) to get rid of world of oppression

RAWALPINDI, February 24: In a special message on the occasion of Youm-e-Noor that was observed with religious spirit, devotion and respect on Sunday Safar 7 to remember Imam Moosa Kazim (A.S.), the Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said Seerat of Imam Moosa Kazim (A.S.) will have to be adopted so as to get rid of world of oppression and brutality, restoration of justice and fair-play, seek an end to problems and difficulties of the Islamic World and for the stability of Pakistan.

He said Hazrat Imam Moosa Kazim (A.S.) is that greatest personality who spent his prime age and the old age in prison but no tyrant ruler and dictator could bow him down. He, through his deeds, had declared that like our forefathers we neither bow down our head before the tyrant rulers nor we give up support to the oppressed.

Agha Moosavi said that today the world was confronted with oppression and brutality again; Kashmir, Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan, Lebanon, and Somalia are the victims of colonial powers while Iran and Syria are on their target. There is a saying of Imam Moosa Kazim (A.S.) that treat the oppressor aggressively so that you can snatch the right of the oppressed from him.

He made it clear that Azadari of Mazloom-e-Karbala is the universal protest against the oppressive world which would continue till Zahoor-e-Mehdi (A.S.) so as to preach justice and fair-play, root out oppression and keep the flag of justice and fair-play flutter all over the universe.

The TNFJ chief said the foremost objective of Islam is building seerat and character of the human being, therefore it has been said about the Holy Prophet (SAAW) that this personality gives you knowledge of the Book and wisdom and purifies your Nafs (selves) and on the basis of it Khatmi Martabat (SAAW) has been declared an example to follow.

He said his Besat is the completion of moral values. It is stated in Sahih Tirmizi that amongst Muslims, complete in Iman is the person who keeps a good moral, doing good is the other name of moral. He said ideal is needed for best education and upbringing which is the quality of Khasan-e-Khuda and from amongst them is the personality of Hazrat Imam Moosa Kazim (A.S.) who always used to initiate greetings, treat his family members with love and respect, used to take care of the poor and Fuqara, used to carry food on his shoulders and distribute it to the poor at their door-steps during the night. He said he always overcome his enemies with his moral, he was exemplary in giving reward and was generous, he had set free one thousand slaves and had paid the debts of uncountable persons. When his devotees presented him gifts, one old man came to him and requested that Maula, I have nothing to present you, however, I have brought some couplets that I have written in the woes of your forefather Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.). Imam (A.S.) became grieved on listening to those couplets and said that in return of your couplets I am presenting you all these gifts that have been presented to me. He said through this deed of the Masoom (A.S.), the status of Ulema, Waizeen, Zakireen, poets, Manqabat Khwans and Noha Khwans could be gauged.

Agha Moosavi said that once Hazrat Imam Moosa Kazim (A.S.) was passing through a street where he heard some music and songs, the owner of that house was amongst the elite who had made that spot a place of enjoyment for himself. A slave-maid from that house came out, she saw the Imam (A.S.) and presented her Salam to him. He asked from her that whether the person living in that house is ‘Bandah’ or independent. She replied he is independent. He said it seems he is independent, had he been a ‘Bandah’ then would have feared of Allah and did not behave like that. The slave-maid when returned, her master asked the reason of being late. She repeated her talk with the Imam (A.S.) on which he started pondering over the wordings of the Maula (A.S.) and ran bare-footed after the Imam (A.S.), fell down to his feet, felt ashamed and turned his place of joy into a place of worship. To remember that day, he always used to come out bare-footed and became famous as “Bashar Hafi” (bare-footed).

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Hamid Moosavi reiterated his resolve to practically follow the oswah of Imam Moosa Kazim (A.S.) and would continue their practical struggle for the supremacy of religion, motherland, and mission of ‘Wila’ and ‘Aza’ and would not allow anyone to cause harm to the same.
