RAWALPINDI, Pakistan – March 21: Arbaeen-e-Hussaini (Chehlum of Nawasa-e-Rasool Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) and his 72 faithful companions) was observed with religious and national spirit, devotion and respect throughout the country Tuesday. Majalis-e-Arbaeen-e-Hussaini were held and Zuljinah, Alam and Tazia processions were taken out in all big and small cities and towns on this occasion.
In Rawalpindi, main Chehlum procession was taken out from Imambargah Col. Maqbool Hussain and Imambargah Hifazat Ali Shah Bohar Bazar. Zuljinah procession taken out from Imambargah Ashiq Hussain Teli Mohallah merged into the main procession. Mourners of Imam Hussain (A.S.) performed Zanjeer-Zani and presented Pursa of the Imam Aali Muqam (A.S.) to the Holy Prophet (SAW) on this occasion. The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi participated in the procession, offered Ziarat of the taburrakaat and performed Matamdari. He also offered Dua at the Sabeel-e-Hussaini Camp organized by Mukhtar Generation. A large number of mourners engaged themselves in heavy Zanjeer-Zani and Matam-e-Qama at Bohar Bazar Chowk, Trunk Bazar, and Habib Bank Chowk. The procession turned into a big rally after reaching Fawwara Chowk where addressing the participants, Central Secretary Information of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan, Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi said Arbaeen-e-Hussaini is the memory of Aseeran-e-Karbalas commitment and courage who shattered the Yazidi courts through their visionary and heart-rending addresses despite being chained so as to highlight the objective of Hussainiyyat. He said inheritor of the Hussains (A.S.) blood Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) and Sharikatul Hussain Hazrat Syeda Zainab (S.A.) unveiled the fake Islamic faces of Yazid making it clear on the whole world that Hussain (A.S.) came to the plain of Karbala for survival of Deen-e-Muhammadi and to save the dignity of pious human relations from Yazidi hands, they unveiled his black deeds and made the flag of Islam flutter high for ever by sacrificing their blood.
Zaidi lamented that in Pakistan that came into being in the name of Islam, electronic and print media give full coverage to all types of programmes including musical ones but that have kept a criminal silence on the occasion of Chehlum of the Mazloom-e-Karbala (A.S.). He presented the Masaib of caravan of Aseeran-e-Karbala on their way back to Madinah. Ch. Mushtaq Hussain addressed the gathering on the topic of philosophy of Shahadat. A resolution presented by the Central President of Mukhtar Students Organisation Pakistan said that Nawasa-e-Rasool Syedush-Shuhada Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) does not belong to any particular Maktab, Maslak or a country rather he is the hero of the whole humanity and movements of the oppressed.
The resolution said that Karbala is the main source of independence movements presently going on the world over from which international colonial powers and their agents were afraid of the same even today. It said that all Muslim States and the holy places are unsafe from their oppression and brutality and in these circumstances, the Islamic World would have to wake up from deep slumber and if they did not check this situation then they may not exist in future history. The resolution lamented that like other schools of thought, Maktab-e-Tashayyo is also deprived of their basic rights. The participants demanded from the government to give representation to Maktab-e-Tashayyo on equal basis, in all State departments including the electronic media. The resolution while terming Anti-Terrorism Act of President General Pervez Musharraf as sound step said that the same banned groups have been openly working in the government and opposition under new names. Media also gives them coverage. If President Musharraf desires to root out terrorism and prove to the world that there is no maktabi conflict here, then in this regard, it is necessary to remove column of maslak and sect from the forms that are get filled in official and private institutions, because it is contradictory to Pakistan Constitution. While there is condition of only being a Muslim for President and Prime Minister, and mention of their maslak and sect is not must. Another resolution reiterated that mourning against the publication of blasphemous images and Samarra tragedy will continue till 8th Rabiul Awwal i.e. Shahadat of Hazrat Imam Hassan Askari (A.S.) while peaceful universal protest – Azadari – against oppression and brutality will continue till Zahoor of Imam Mahdi (A.S.).
Later, participants of the main Chehlum procession performed historic Zanjeer-Zani in Raja Bazar. Zuljinah processions taken out from Imambargah Kashmirian Tyre Bazar and Darbar Shah Chan Chiragh also merged into the main procession at Purana Qila. The main Chehlum procession terminated at Imambargah Qadeem after passing through Jamia Masjid Road and Imambara Chowk. The participants of Zuljinah processions taken out from Imambargah Yadgar-e-Hussain Satellite Town and Imambargah Baltistania Angatpura performed Zanjeer-Zani at Banni Chowk. Both these processions terminated after reaching Imambargah Qadeem. Mukhtar Students Organisation installed Markazi Azadari Camp at Fawwara Chowk during the main Chehlum procession where arrangements for Sabeel-e-Hussaini were especially made. Volunteers of Ibrahim Scouts, Mukhtar Force, Civil Defence, office-bearers of District Azadari Committee of the TNFJ, officials of the District Administration and a heavy contingent of police remained with the procession throughout. Bawa Syed Riaz Hussain Shah, Sajjada Nashin of Darbar Shah Chan Chiragh led the collective Dua and read out Ziarat at the conclusion of the main Chehlum procession.
The importance and significance of knowledge of adaad (figures) is crystal clear to every conscientious person and from amongst them one adad (figure) is Arbaeen (40) and its crux (maddah) is Rubaa. Al-Rubaa, Arbaa, Rabeaa have been used at 18 places and Arbaeen at four following places in Quran.
(Surah Ahqaaf Ayah 15) We have given commandment to human being to do good to his parents and his mother kept him in her abdomen in pain and delivered in pain, remaining in abdomen and giving up mothers milk is spread over 23 months so much so that he gained his strength and reached 40 years. This talk of figures is Arbaeen in holy Quran. It may be that on that basis Dana-i-Kull, Khatam-ur-Rusl Sardar-e-Ambia (SAWW) had announced his prophethood in the age of 40 years. There is a saying of the Holy Prophet (SAWW) that There is a saying of Hazrat Moosa ibne Jafar (A.S.) that (Arbaeen Shaikh Bahai) one from my Ummat memorizes 40 Ahadees, the one that are sought after by people in connection with performing religious rites, Allah would turn him faqih and scholar on the Day of Judgement. Similarly, the supremacy and importance of the figure Ashra (10) is also crystal clear as this figure is mentioned at 16 places in Quran in different manner, two of which are as follows. That is why Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya has announced to observe universal Ashra-e-Aseeran-e-Karbala from 11 Safar to Arbaeen-e-Hussaini and the heroes of Caravan of Aseeran-e-Karbala are Zainab (S.A.) and Zainul Abideen (A.S.). Khateeb-e-Aal-e-Muhammad Allama Azhar Hassan Zaidi who loved the Markaz-e-Tashayyo – TNFJ much, who had presided over the Dina Convention in which, according to Akhbar-e-Jehan Magazine, more than five lakh people from Gawader to Parachinar, from Karachi to Kashmir and Northern Areas had participated, and who was granted the title of Khateeb-e-Aal-e-Muhammad by holy personalities, had used to say during his address that there would have been no Islam had Hussain (A.S.) not been there:
But we would like to say that Hussain (A.S.) and Islam would not have been there had Zainab (S.A.) and Zainul Abideen (A.S.) not been there. These personalities defended the religion and Shariat of grandfather (SAWW) and Hussainiyaat through their heart-rending speeches and sermons in the streets of Kufa and Shaam and in the courts of Yazid and Ibne Ziad without any fear shattering the foundations of Yazidi palaces and making Yazidiyyat of every era fearsome of Hussainiyyat. Hussainiyyat is commensurate with religion, Shariat, human dignity that considers causing any harm to human being a great sin. Arbaeen-e-Hussaini is the great memory of bravery of those who kissed martyrdom for supremacy of mankind in the desert of Karbala and is the day of honour and dignity of the personality who defended the human rights with sincerity of purpose and who provided a concrete foundation of independence and freedom by offering his sacrifice along with his 72 loyal near and dear ones and accepted the detention of those great women of Khanwada-e-Ismat and Taharat whose voice was not even heard by anyone before, and set up such Hussaini Front called Majalis-e-Aza that would remain intact till eternity to check oppression and brutality. That is why the TNFJ has announced that our mourning would continue till the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Imam Hassan Askari (A.S.) while our protest – Azadari – would continue till the Zahoor of Hazrat Imam Mahdi (A.S.). Sani-e-Zahra Syeda Zainab (S.A.) and Syed-us-Sajideen Hazrat Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) by defending the blood of martyrs of Karbala and by becoming the spokespersons of religion, Sharait and Hussainiyyat, has established a high example for the have-nots and the oppressed that is a beacon of light for those who are seeking independence and freedom in Kashmir, Palestine and elsewhere. When Yazid (L.A.) released the Ahle Bait-e-Ismat and Taharat from detention then he sent Bashir, who was a devotee of the holy family, along with Ahle Bait Atahaar (A.S.) to Madinah and he led the caravan of Aseeran-e-Karbala with care, first to Karbala. It has been stated that when this caravan reached Karbala, it was the day of Arbaeen, and Sahabi-e-Rasool Hazrat Jabir ibne Abdullah Ansari (R.A.) was present there before hand. A hue and cry was raised, earth shook, the sky shattered, Ahle Bait-e-Atahaar (A.S.) reached the Maqtal-e-Shuhada shedding tears and mourning voices haye Hussain… were being raised from all around and when the Sani-e-Zahra (S.A.) reached the grave of his brother (A.S.) Today, the whole world of humanity is obliged to Hazrat Zainab (S.A.) and Hazrat Zainul Abideen (A.S.). Satanic forces laced with all types of weapons are set out to root out the labour done by Zainab (S.A.) and Zainul Abideen (A.S.). First, they committed blasphemy by getting the blasphemous images published in newspapers and then they grieved the whole humanity by sponsoring bomb attacks on the holy mausoleum of great personalities of the same holy family – Hazrat Imam Ali Naqi (A.S.) and Hazrat Imam Hassan Askari (A.S.) in Iraqs city of Samarra, but it is Moosavis commitment with standard of Abbas in one hand and Quran in the other, i throw a challenge to the every satanic power to utilise all their resources, they could finish us, wipe out our name but could not bow down the Islamic World or suppress the oppressed nations or wipe out Islam. RAWALPINDI, March 19: Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has termed Dera Ismail Khan incident as an open terrorism and a chain of our perpetual enemys that well-thought heinous conspiracy being confronted by the soil of Pakistan since long. He stated this in his reaction on bomb blasts in D.I.Khan in which a number of jawans of Pakistan army and police were died and wounded. Moosavi said it is fourth incident during Ayyam-e-Aza. Earlier, incidents were occurred in Tank, its surroundings and then Hangu. Had the provincial government displayed wisdom by fulfilling demands of justice, taken bold steps on the occasion of Tank and Hangu incidents, arrested culprits and helped the oppressed, then this incident would not have happened today. The TNFJ chief said all those died in this incident are part of our heart because army, police and people are our, therefore, murder of any Pakistani is in fact murder of Pakistan, and an attack on anyone is an assault on whole humanity, religion and Shariah. He said we are protesting against those who committed blasphemy and the destruction of holy shrine of Al-Imamain Al-Askariain (A.S.), and as a punishment for the same our perpetual enemy is sponsoring these incidents. We strongly condemn it, and expressing solidarity and sympathy with the bereaved families demand from the government to take bold steps coming out of personality and party for religion and shariah, human dignity and Pakistan stability because Ashra-e-Aseeran-e-Karbala is being observed throughout the world with respect and reverence while Arbaeen-e-Hussaini (Chehlum of Imam Hussain (A.S.) nears. Our mourning will continue till Rabi-ul Awwal 8 martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Imam Hasan Askari (A.S.) and universal eternal protest Azadari against world of oppression and barbarism will continue till Zahoor and Qayam of Imam Mehdi (A.S.). Moosavi stressed there is no maktabi or maslaki conflict in Pakistan by the grace of Allah. Our stance is very clear from the day one that a terrorist is only a terrorist, and linking him with any faith or religion is not right. He appealed to the people and Azadaran to show patience and fully cooperate to ensure peace giving preference to national interests over everything, and remain vigilant. Meanwhile, a delegation of provincial Muharram Committee Azadari Cell of TNFJ Sarhad has immediately left for D.I.Khan to render full cooperation for restoration of peace there.
RAWALPINDI, March 18: Programmes marking Ashra-e-Aseeran-e-Karbala are going on throughout the country on the call of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. Majalis-e-Aza were held in all small and big cities and towns followed by Taboot processions in connection with the Shahadat of Imam-e-Zamin and Samin Hazrat Ali bin Moosa Ar-Raza (A.S.). Majalis-e-Aza were also organised in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. A Majlis-e-Aza was held at Ali Hall under the auspices of Hayat Tulaba-e-Islamia to mark the Shahadat of Imam-e-Zamin Hazrat Ali bin Moosa Ar-Raza (A.S.). Adeel Abbas Wesami addressing the Majlis said that true love and devotion of Muhammad (SAW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) demands from us to be ever ready for the protection and defence of those high values and goals for which the pious personalities rendered sacrifices of their life rather we should not hesitate in offering any sacrifice in doing so. He said following in the footsteps of uswah Imam Raza (A.S.) was prerequisite to get the humanity rid of all problems and difficulties faced by them in the present era. Manzar Kazmi and Mushahid Hussain Kazmi also addressed the Majlis that followed Matamdari. Allama Syed Hussain Muqaddasi addressed a Majlis-e-Aza held at the residence of Ch. Dost Muhammad Haideri in Mughalabad in which he said that all Noorani personalities of the great Khanwada-e-Risalat not only gave a permanent lease of life to the religious values through their character and deeds but by presenting the sacrifice of their life they preached a practical lesson to the whole world that giving life in way of Allah is the greatest status of Shahadat that is the inheritance of a Momin. He said according to a saying of Murtaza Ali (A.S.), Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) are a point of normalcy, therefore, we should accept the status and value of Ahle Bait (A.S.) from the core of our heart without any discrimination and achieve success here and Hereafter by following in their footsteps. The real cause of all evils is foreign aid being received by religious groups. The government should immediately ban foreign aid to those religious groups that are involved in practical politics from sectarian platform and ensure effective implementation of Anti-Terrorism Act immediately to control terrorism. Ch. Mushtaq Hussain, Naseer Hussain Sabzwari and Khurshid Jawwadi also addressed the Majlis that followed Taboot procession of Imam-e-Zamin (A.S.) that was terminated at Imambargah Qasr-e-Abu Talib. A resolution presented by organiser of the Majlis Haider Abbas Bajwa was adopted unanimously. It expressed grave concern that Islam is the target of satanic powers even now who do not spare any opportunity to cause harm to Muslims. The resolution strongly condemned desecration of the Holy Prophet (SAW), Aal-e-Atahaar (A.S.), pious Sahaba Kubar (R.A.), attacks on holy places, and massacre of innocent citizens and expressed grave concern that now Muslims themselves have come out to desecrate Mashaheer-e-Islam and Khanwada-e-Rasool (A.S.) the fresh example of which is a book of former Professor Mazharul Haq of Islamia College Peshawar entitle Short History of Islam in which humiliating write-up against minor Masooma-e-Karbala Hazrat Sakina bint ul Hussain (S.A.) is included which is highly condemnable. The resolution said that when we ourselves are committing desecration then how can we stage protest against others? The resolution demanded from the government to take strict legal action against the author and publisher of that book. Another resolution reiterated that mourning against the publication of blasphemous images and Samarra tragedy will continue till 8th Rabiul Awwal i.e. Shahadat of Hazrat Imam Hassan Askari (A.S.) while peaceful universal protest – Azadari – against oppression and brutality will continue till Zahoor of Imam Mahdi (A.S.). Majlis for ladies was held at Jamia-tul-Murtaza which followed by Taboot-e-Imam Zamin (A.S.) and Matamdari.
RAWALPINDI, March 10: The two-day high level meeting of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya presided over by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has adopted many resolutions regarding important national and international matter. According to TNFJ Central Spokesman Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi, the participants of the meeting stressed the need of introducing an international law to check the condemnable incidents like publication of blasphemous images and supported the suggestion of President Pervez Musharraf in this connection demanding that desecration of all Prophets and heroes should also be declared a cognizable offence while legislation is done in this connection. The resolution demanded from the United Nations, ICC and OIC to play an important role in this connection. Another resolution demanded solution of long-standing issues of Kashmir and Palestine by resolving the same in line with the United Nations Resolutions keeping to the desire of their respective people. It demanded immediate withdrawal of allied forces from Iraq and Afghanistan and expressed concern that Iraqi people have been put on the mercy of colonial monsters and their oppression and brutality against humanity is increasing the day in and day out. The resolution asked the United Nations to post her forces there and all countries should help it, in this regard. Condemning the Samarra tragedy, the resolution condemned continued massacre in Iraq, attack on Masjid-e-Barasa and attempt to destruct it and paid rich tributes to the Iraqi people and Maraje Uzzam for practically displaying Sunni-Shia brotherhood. The resolution said that all holy shrines are signs of Allah and are related with the whole humanity; therefore, attack on the same is attack on religion, Shariat, and humanity. Another resolution called upon the government to direct the Control Rooms already set up at Federal Interior Ministry and in all the four provinces to remain in touch with the TNFJ Central Muharram Committee Azadari Cell for solution of any possible problems faced by Azadaran on the occasion of Chehlum of Syed-ush-Shuhada (A.S.) and during the Ashra-e-Aseeran-e-Karbala being observed from 11 to 20 Safar so all Azadari programmes during these days are organised peacefully. It called upon the government to adopt the policy of mutual understanding viz. all sections of society including the opposition as arrests and bombings are no solution to any problem. By another resolution, the meeting demanded immediate arrest and exemplary punishment for the culprits of terrorism during the Matmi procession on Youm-e-Ashoora in Hangu and during the Azadari procession in Tank on 6th Muharram, give compensation to the affected and unveil the elements behind it. Yet another resolution made it clear that Pakistan was came into being in the name of Islam the official religion of which is Islam that is commensurate with the recognised Sunni and Shia schools of thought. Therefore, it said no one would be allowed to turn Pakistan into a sectarian State. It called upon the government to fulfil the basic rights of all schools of thought and the problems of Maktab-e-Tashayyo should be resolved in line with the May 21, 1985 Junejo-Moosavi agreement. The delegates of the meeting reiterated their resolve to observe mourning against the desecration of Holy Prophet (SAW), Ahle Bait-e-Atahaar (A.S.), pious Sahaba Kubaar (R.A.) and Samarra tragedy till 8th Rabiul Awwal i.e. the Shahadat of Hazrat Imam Hassan Askari (A.S.) while the peaceful universal protest against oppression and brutality would continue till Zahoor-e-Imam Mahdi (A.S.). Reports of Central Muharram Committee Azadari Cell and provincial committees were presented. A Central Committee to organise programmes for Ashra-e-Aseeran-e-Karbala from 11 to 20 Safar was formed with Dr. Iqbal Javed Haideri as its Convener and Wajih-ul-Hassan Kazmi as its Secretary. The meeting decided to observe Hafta-e-Azmat-e-Mustafa and Mujtaba from 23 to 29 Safar. Majalis-e-Aza will be held and Taboot processions to observe Shahadat of the Holy Prophet (SAW) and Nawasa-e-Rasool Hazrat Imam Hassan (A.S.) will be taken out on this occasion. Hafta-e-Ehad-e-Paiman will be observed from 2 to 8 Rabiul Awwal to raise voice of protest against blasphemy and Samarra tragedy while commitment will be announced to continue the universal protest of Azadari till Zahoor-e-Imam Mahdi (A.S.). Youm-e-Mukhtar will be observed on 9th Rabiul Awwal while Hafta-e-Wahdat-o-Akhuwwat Hurmat-e-Rasool-e-Azam (SAWW) and Aal-e-Atahaar (A.S.) will be observed from 12 to 17 Rabiul Awwal. TNFJ Central Committees were formed to organise all these programmes. Conveners and Secretaries appointed for these programmes respectively are: Malik Fayyaz Awan, Asad Ali Hasni, Adeel Haider Haideri, Dr. S. Zaman and Haider Abbas Bajwa, Dr. Nazir Hussain Shah and Nazakat Hussain Kazmi, Meesam Tammar and Abu Nasr Kazmi.
RAWALPINDI, March 09: The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has demanded from the government to make special arrangements and further improve the law and order situation throughout the country on the occasion of Ashra-e-Aseeran-e-Karbala from 11 to 20 Safar-ul-Muzaffar marking the Chehlum of Syed-ush-Shuhada Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) and his 72 near and dear ones. He stated this while delivering his Presidential address at the opening session of 2-day high level meeting of the TNFJ. Heads of different central sections of TNFJ, and Central and Provincial office-bearers of TNFJ Muharram Committee Azadari Cell participated in the meeting in which arrangements of Chehlum of Syed-ush-Shuhada were reviewed. Agha Moosavi expressing his satisfaction over the arrangements made by the government during Muharramul Haram thanked the government for setting up Control Rooms at the Centre and provinces on the demand of TNFJ and said Azadari programmes would continue till 8th Rabiul Awwal. He said the sanctity of Arbaeen-e-Hussaini is not less than Ashoora, therefore, the government should issue special directive to the Control Rooms already set up at the Centre and the provinces so as to facilitate Azadaran in performing their religious rites with honour and respect.
He said our objective is Wila and Aza that is source of forgiveness and Azadari is the best worship on which no bargaining would be done nor any one would be allowed to do so. He made it clear that the Samarra tragedy that took place in Muharram is not a simple incident rather it indicates that international colonial powers are afraid of Hussainiyyat and by using the condemnable tactics of terrorism and murder desire to give an impression that there is Maktabi and Maslaki conflicts amongst Muslim States while it is none in actual. The TNFJ chief paid rich tributes to Maraje Uzzam and Sunni-Shia people of Iraq who despite bearing heavy shock and loss were thwarting the colonial conspiracies through displaying mutual brotherhood and understanding. He said satanic powers do not want to see Islam prosper, therefore, they were utilising all their energy to cause harm to Muslims right from the beginning and for that purpose were misusing the power-hungry rulers who were wearing the outfit of Islam, as their tools. He stressed that Samarra tragedy is preamble of stepping towards Masjid-e-Nabawi and Bait-Ullah, therefore Muslim countries would have to work sensibly. He said we had said at the time of New York incident that evil could not be rooted out through evil but through good. The whole Muslim World had condemned the New York incident but the satanic forces considered it as a weakness of Muslims while Pakistan had played the role of a frontline ally in war against terror. He said it is an established fact that Kufr is a Millat while Islam is a separate Millat and it is crystal clear from the day one that our perpetual enemy exists that had broken our one arm and one super power that supported it has finished while the other super power was considering Pakistan a threat for herself owing because of her achieving the nuclear capability. That power, he said, had first destructed Afghanistan, then shattered Iraq and now Syria and Iran are the next target. First she declared Iran axis of evil, then threatened her against getting nuclear capability while Zionists and Hindus are being supported just to snub two international issues i.e. Palestine and Kashmir. Agha Moosavi expressing shock over Afghan accusations against Pakistan said that Afghanistan was speaking someone elses language. Achieving nuclear capability is the right of Iran but the question arises what the Muslim Ummah is doing. He said India has not signed NPT and despite that her nuclear defence agreement with America is tantamount to recognising her as a nuclear power. Therefore, he said, Pakistan should sign a defence pact with her long-lived friend China cementing her ties with them further. He said had the representative organisation of the Islamic World i.e. OIC played an active role and had it achieved a permanent seat in the Security Council and right of veto then the Muslim Ummah would not have faced the hardships it is facing today. He said the Muslim States should not ponder over on saving their face only but should devise a strong and combined strategy by summoning OIC summit so as to strengthen the defence of the Islamic World. The colonial powers desire to pitch Muslim States into sect and reap the benefit from our internal strife. The TNFJ chief said like President Pervez Musharraf had defended motherland Pakistan from colonial attack, similarly he should adopt the policy of mutual understanding with opposition, tribes and chieftains so as to check the international strife created by our combined enemy. No one in Pakistan is a traitor rather everyone had rendered sacrifices for this country and had defended it. He said we would have to give up the policy of those in power are sincere, and those who are out are traitors keeping in view the norms of solidarity and survival of the motherland, because a big public power is there outside the Parliament. He said many unseen powers are active against the country; therefore, the government should exercise seriousness, patience, and firmness and should keep the interest of the nation and the country supreme over all other matters. He made it clear that all holy places and shrines are Shaair-Ullah without any discrimination that is related with the whole humanity. Therefore, he added, attack on the same is considered attack on the whole humanity, religion and Shariat. He said there is need to devise an international law as a permanent solution to condemnable incidents like publication of blasphemous images by European newspapers under which desecration of all Prophets and Mashaheer should be declared a cognizable offence because a person who commits blasphemy could not be a human being. The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Hamid Moosavi declaring the release of those arrested in Northern Areas as a good step has demanded from the government to also release those who were arrested for staging protest against blasphemy because, he added, arrests and bombing are no solution to any problem but the mutual understanding is which should be considered an important responsibility. e said active steps should be taken forthwith to solve the problems of recognised schools of thought living in Muslim States. Pakistan is not a Maktabi or sectarian State but an ideological State the constitutional religion of which is Islam. He called upon the government to take care of the rights of all schools of thought on the basis of equality and give ideological representation to Maktab-e-Tashayyo in all State departments. He said our mourning against desecration of Holy Prophet (SAW), Aal-e-Rasool (A.S.), pious Sahaba Kubaar (R.A.) and holy shrines will continue till 8th Rabiul Awwal i.e. the Shahdat of Imam Hassan Askari (A.S.) while our peaceful universal protest – Azadari – against oppression and brutality would continue till the Zahoor of Imam Mahdi (A.S.). He called upon all Azadaran to perform their Azadari rites by following the TNFJ Code of Azadari in letter and spirit.
RAWALPINDI, March 07: Ashra-e-Shaheeda-e-Zindaan programmes organised throughout the country in connection with the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Sakina bint-ul Hussain (A.S.) announced by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi came to an end on Tuesday. On this occasion, Majalis-e-Aza were held and Taboots (replica coffins) were taken out in ladies Majalis in all small and big cities of the country. Ulema, waizeen and zakireen strongly condemned publication of blasphemous caricatures and destruction of holy mausoleums in Samarra and reiterated their resolve to continue pursadari of Mazloom-e-Karbala (A.S.) with mutual understanding and brotherhood till 8th Rabiul Awwal by following TNFJs Code of Azadari in letter and spirit. On the last day of the Ashra-e-Shaheeda-e-Zindaan various religious organisations staged a protest demonstration against the publication of blasphemous caricatures and the Samarra tragedy. The participants of the rally were carrying banners and placards inscribed with protest slogans. Hojjatul Islam Syed Hussain Kazmi, Allama Basharat Imami, and Allama Sadiqi addressing the demonstrators said whether it is publication of blasphemous caricatures or terrorism in Samarra and Karbala, it all has been done by the enemies of Islam. They said whole energy is being utilised to give an impression that there is a sectarian and Maktabi war in Iraq where there is no such situation throughout the world including Iraq. They paid tributes to the exemplary display of Sunni-Shia unity that proved that they are united and no power on earth could create any rift amongst them.

A Matmi procession was taken out under the auspices of TNFJ Local Council Gharibabad in Rawalpindi in which Matmi Dasta Jhalarian Muazzam Qalander, Matmi Dasta Shabab Ali Akbar, and Matmi Dasta Sakhi Shah Chan Chiragh performed Matamdari and Noha-Khwani. Majlis-e-Aza was held after the procession. Maulana Malik Ijlal Haider Al-Haideri, Ch. Mushtaq Hussain, Zakir Matloob Hussain Kazmi, Zakir Syed Zaki Al-Hasnain, Zakir Ghulam Farid Jafar, Zakir Shaukat Hayat Nayyar, Zakir Ayub Malang, and Maulana Javed Hussain Haideri paid tributes to Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Moosavi on announcing observation of Ashra-e-Shaheeda-e-Zindaan and announced commitment to support any call given by him for promotion of Hussainiyyat. A resolution adopted on the occasion blamed international colonial powers for continued terrorism all over the world and called upon all international organisations including the United States to play their role in getting the oppression going on in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kashmir and Palestine stopped and to ensure honour and dignity of the holy places. A Majlis-e-Aza was held at Imambargah Zain-ul Abideen under the auspices of Anjuman Faiz-e-Punjtan. Zakira Nagin Zaidi addressing the Majlis said that the Imam Aali Muqam (A.S.) had saved Islam by giving his head while Hazrat Sakina (S.A.) along with Syed-e-Sajjad (A.S.), Hazrat Zainab (S.A.) and Hazrat Kulsoom (S.A.) disseminated the message of Hussain (A.S.) to the world owing to which flag of Islam is fluttering all over the world today. She said Aseeran-e-Karbala (S.A.) delivered heart-rending addresses in Kufa and Shaam that shattered the Yazidi courts. The patience and firmness shown by Yateeman-e-Karbala in Zindaan-e-Shaam is the best example for the oppressed and the have-nots to follow for the rest of their life. Taboot of Shaheeda-e-Zindaan (S.A.) was taken out after the Majlis after which Matamdari was also held. Syed Faizan Kazmi addressed a Majlis-e-Aza held under the auspices of Hayat Tulaba-e-Islamia and termed the attachment with Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) as the best source of success here and the Hereafter. Ali Zeb Kazmi, Syed Imran Kazmi, Syed Manzar Kazmi and others addressed the Majlis that followed Matamdari.
