Moosavi: Pakistan should raise Indian missile test at UN

RAWALPINDI, January 26: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said Indian test of Agni missile is a new tool not only against Pakistan but also for the whole humanity. There is an idiom “Mouth of honey, heart of gall” that should now be changed into “Mouth of honey, heart of atom bomb & missile” after this missile test. He stated this while addressing a special Mahfil on the occasion of “Youm-e-Zamin” here on Saturday. He said if America and other international powers were really sincere in rooting out terrorism then they will have to declare India a terrorist State taking notice of Indian test of Agni missile and merely condemning it expressing concern would not be enough. He said the International Coalition should impose sanctions against India declaring it a disliked State of the world nations as a punishment for supporting Hinduism, fundamentalism, terrorism and aggression against the neighbouring countries.

The TNFJ chief said Pakistan should raise the Indian test of Agni missile at the United Nations who should take a strongly exception of this development otherwise the Islamic World would be justified to understand that what is happening in the Middle East and in this region was happening on the approval of international powers and the United Nations. He said at a time when India has deployed more than 10 lakh troops on the Pakistani borders in addition to more than 8 lakh already deployed in the Held Valley, the Taghooti forces should not consider our option for peace as our weakness. He said India should keep in mind that if war imposed on us, then the whole nation would prove a concrete wall against its enemy confronting them shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces of Pakistan. He said our religion is Islam and Kalma-e-Tauheed is considered as its real basis, while Hazrat Imam Raza (A.S.) who is a great personality of Khanwada-e-Muhammad and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) has declared Kalma-e-Tauheed a citadel of Islam. That is why, he said Pakistan at present is the citadel of Islam and the Taghooti world feels it its utmost duty to create cracks in this citadel.

Agha Moosavi said motherland Pakistan had been target of aggression on different counts during the last 53 years and even now whenever any incident takes place in any part of the world, the whole blame of it is put on Pakistan. Whether it is New York incident or attack on Indian Parliament or on American Consulate in Col-Katta, they put the whole blame on Pakistan with a desire to get Pakistan declared a terrorist State by hook or by crook. He said America was announcing new steps and along with its Coalition partners after the New York and Washington incidents and was set to get 48 billion dollar budget approved to fulfil that agenda but they should also take the notice of Indian designs. He said the United Nations has itself accepted that the United Nations Resolutions on plebiscite in Kashmir still exist, therefore, they could not now say that these Resolutions would be implemented if both the countries agree to it because acceptance of Resolutions in the United Nations is the proof that both the countries agree on the same.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said now the United Nations was under the obligation to get its Resolutions implemented otherwise the Islamic World would be justified to understand that the world body has become Hippocratic. Whether it is America or the United Nations, the attitude of both of them is averse and Hippocratic against the Islamic World. He said Islam preaches peace and it has always given priority to peace, and it was peace for which we have cooperation with the International Coalition, we have not only condemned terrorism but also banned terrorist groups in Pakistan because Pakistan was a victim of terrorism for the last 50 years. He said war is no solution of the issues that is why we have always opposed it but it was always imposed on us. He said the Islamic World should also wake up from deep slumber and summon the OIC session immediately, so as to adopt a joint strategy on the issues of Palestine and Kashmir in the backdrop of issues faced by the Islamic World. Agha Moosavi said the Seerat of Ali ibne Musa Raza (A.S.) guarantees blessing for whole humanity and one can succeed here and the Hereafter by following the same as in it lays the survival of whole mankind.

Meanwhile, according to reports reaching the Tehreek headquarters, “Youm-e-Zamin” functions were organised in Karachi, Hyderabad, Lahore, Multan, Khanewal, Jhang, Gujranwala, Chakwal, Talagang, Mianwali, Dera Ismail Khan, D.G. Khan, Bhakkar, Peshawar, Kohat, Parachinar, Skardu, Gilgit, and Quetta with due religious fervour. Ulema and Zakireen while addressing these functions, highlighted the Seerat of Imam Ali ibne Musa Al-Raza (A.S.) throwing light on different aspects of his life.

Kashmir real cause of tension in the region: Moosavi

ISLAMABAD, January 23: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said that the United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan should give most of this attention on Kashmir issue during his visit to South Asia because if plebiscite could be held in Mashriqi Taimoor then plebiscite should immediately be arranged for Kashmiris so as to resolve the Kashmir issue. Otherwise, he said the oppressed nations and Muslim people would be justified to understand that India and Israel were doing all that in connivance with the United Nations which is Hippocratic and contrary to this organisation to be called representative body of the united nations. He stated this while talking to a representative delegation of TNFJ District Council Islamabad that called on him at the head of Allama Basharat Hussain Imami here on Wednesday.

The TNFJ chief said the Indian foreign minister who terms Azad Kashmir as their own is not aware of his elders’ history because if Azad Kashmir belonged to India then Nehru would not had taken Kashmir issue to the United Nations. He made it clear that Kashmir, Junagarh, Hyderabad Daccan and other majority Muslim areas were annexed to Pakistan but India forcefully occupied all these States using power but Kashmiris stood up to achieve their rights and independence and got some of the areas vacated from Indian occupation that is today known as Azad Kashmir. He said when India realised that the whole Kashmir was slipping out of their hands, then Nehru opted to take Kashmir issue to the United Nations where the right of self-determination of Kashmiris was recognised through United Nations Resolutions. At present, he said this issue is a conflict and a real cause of tension in the region.

Agha Moosavi said India has committed aggression against Pakistan many a time but could not suppress the independence movement of Kashmiris. He said to make the South Asian region a hub of peace it was prerequisite for India to stop terming Kashmir as her “Atoot-Ang”, accept the Two-Nation Theory under which Kashmir has been recognised as a jugular vein of Pakistan, and give Kashmiris their right to self-determinate respecting their own Mashaheer, then watch who are the people to which Kashmir really belongs to. He said Indian objective behind attack on American Center in Calcutta, after the Indian Parliament attack drama, is to divert the world attention from Indian brutalities in the Held Kashmir and atrocities being committed against minorities in India.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said Muslim rulers should also adopt a joint strategy displaying courage, summon the OIC emergent meeting, and attract the Security Council towards Kashmir issue, otherwise it could be the turn of other States now after Afghanistan. He said Islam preaches peace and strongly condemns every type of terrorism, oppression and brutality. He said a terrorist is a terrorist and oppressor is an oppressor, they keep no Maslak or a country and therefore should be dealt with accordingly. The TNFJ District Islamabad delegation while lauding the policy of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya called upon the whole nation to rise to the occasion to express hatred against terrorists.

TNFJ denounces American consulate attack

RAWALPINDI, January 22: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan while terming the attack on American Consulate in Calcutta an open act of terrorism has strongly condemned this incident. Talking to a big representative delegation of TNFJ District Council Attock that called on him at the head of Syed Salman Shah here on Tuesday, he termed it a part of Washington incident and attack on the Indian Parliament aimed at thwarting the efforts of restoring peace and increasing tension instead. He said the attack on American Consulate at a time when the United Nations Secretary General was touring South Asia provides food for thought. He advised the world powers to give up duplicity in their words and deeds while India should pull out her forces and come on the dialogue table so as to check and root out terrorism.

The TNFJ delegation apprised Agha Moosavi that District Attock Administration was arresting and harassing innocent Shia and Sunni people including important personalities instead of those belonging to the banned organisations. They disclosed that an 80-year old elder of Mauza Hastal, Fateh Jang, Sardar Noor Khan who is also a member of the Peace Committee is behind the bars since January 13. Similarly Syed Zamir Hussain Shah, a licencee Azadar of Jand is also behind the bars. Meanwhile, various other Sunni and Shia people including Azadar Pir Muhammad Shah Bokhari, District Vice-President of TNFJ Pindi Gheb who have no connection with the banned organisations were being victimised despite issuance of a notification from the Interior Ministry to release the arrested TNFJ workers, but unfortunately, the Administration at the lower level was not implementing this notification. Syed Salman Shah told Agha Moosavi that they have come to know that the Administration was demanding to grease their palms at some places. He maintained that despite President of Pakistan’s clear-cut instructions, the Administration was wrongly asserting itself that is tantamount to thwart the Presidential efforts aimed at rooting out terrorism from the country. The government should take immediate notice of this conspiracy, he added.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said at a time when the enemy forces were deployed fully armed, it was the obligation of the government machinery to turn the announcements made by President of Pakistan Gen. Pervez Musharraf into reality so as to restore peace within the country. Therefore, all those TNFJ workers who were arrested after being labelled as the workers of the banned organisations and other arrested innocent Sunni and Shia people should be set free immediately in the light of the Federal Government directive. In addition, he said the government should initiate an enquiry to unveil the elements that were trying to protect the banned organisations by preparing wrong lists thus victimising the innocent people. These elements should be tackled with an iron hand, he added. Agha Moosavi reiterated his resolve that they keep the dignity, honour, survival and integrity of Islam, Pakistan and its people dearest of all other things.

Solution of Kashmir and Palestine issues lay only in implementation of the United Nations Resolutions , Moosavi

RAWALPINDI, January 20: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said solution of Kashmir and Palestine issues lay only in implementation of the United Nations Resolutions. He stated this while talking to a representative delegation that called on him here on Sunday, at the head of Mureed Baqar Khan, District President TNFJ Bhakkar. He said these issues would have been resolved long ago had the United Nations displayed sincerity of purpose like it did by arranging plebiscite in Mashriqi
Taimoor.

The TNFJ chief said the oppressed nations and Muslim people are justified to understand that there was duplicity in the words and deeds of the United Nations against Muslims. He said the United Nations has encouraged the occupation forces in Palestine and Kashmir during a period spread over 50 years the latest example of which is that Palestinians were being massacred, people were arranging demonstrations but the international organisations were playing the role of a silent spectator not paying any heed to the oppressed.

Agha Moosavi said the work of Mujahideen could not complete without resolving the Kashmir and Palestine issues rather life is commensurate with struggle. He said America and her allies were doing all this in connivance with the United Nations. He said ignoring the elements busy in seeking independence and their rights is a part of terrorism. He said war definitely is not a solution to the issues but Islam had never imposed war rather it always faced aggression from others while it has always adopted defensive policy.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi lamented that movements launched by the oppressed nations were being discouraged. These movements, he said could not tackle the oppressive attitude against them in Muslim States therefore they will have to adopt a clear-cut policy. He said while giving proposal to send delegations abroad on Pakistan-India tension we had also said that foreign ambassadors posted in Pakistan should also be briefed on the subject while Pakistani ambassadors posted abroad should be directed to present Pakistani point of view before the heads of States the world over. He said we had also demanded to summon an emergent meeting of the OIC. He said the peace efforts being launched by Pakistan should not be taken as its weakness because we give top priority to peace, integrity, and welfare of humanity over all other things.

Moosavi: Pak always adopted defensive and peaceful policy

RAWALPINDI, January 19: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said Pakistan has never committed aggression rather it always adopted the defensive and peaceful policy and was still doing do. He stated this while talking to a delegation of elite from TNFJ Bangash, Kohat Division that called on him at the head of Syed Shabab Al-Hussaini and Mukhtar Ali Bangash here on Saturday. He said Islam is a universal religion that fulfils needs of all, it is a complete code of life and arranges for the welfare of the whole humanity, let it prosper and strengthen giving it chances of development.

The TNFJ chief said Islam is not an aggressive religion rather the army is kept to support and achieve solidarity of the State. He said the strategy of the armed forces all over the world is based on aggressive, defensive and peaceful attitude. He said the 63-year life span of the Holy Prophet (SAW) stands witness that he never adopted an aggressive policy rather always opted for defensive strategy whenever attacked and the Sulah-e-Hudaibia stands witness to it. He said Pakistan opted for defence whenever war was imposed on it.

Agha Moosavi said the Agra visit of President Gen. Pervez Musharraf and his shaking of hands with Vajpayee in Kathmandu is an open offer for a dialogue and a proof that Pakistan is a peace-long country. He said America seeking a pledge from Pakistan for not opting for war does not sound good as Pakistan never initiated war therefore India should have been bound not to opt for war. He said if America and her allies desire an end to tension in this region then they should take steps to get the Indian oppression against oppressed Kashmiris stopped as a result of which 70,000 Kashmiris have kissed martyrdom and there is still 8 lakh strong Indian occupation forces in the Held Valley.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said Pakistan has taken a principled stand by announcing not to compromise on Kashmir. He said the powers that desire to make this region “Amnistan” should get the Kashmir issue resolved in the light of the United Nations Resolutions keeping to the desire of the Kashmiri people. He said if the self-determination could be opted in Mashriqi Taimoor then why not so in Kashmir? He said solution of Kashmir issue is the only key to peace in South Asia.

Moosavi welcomes Musharraf’s declaration not to nationalize religious institutions

RAWALPINDI, January 18: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said the declaration of President of Pakistan Gen. Pervez Musharraf not to nationalise religious institutions is a welcome step. He stated this while talking to a delegation of Wahdat Ulema-e-Pakistan here on Friday. He said Islam is commensurate with knowledge and deed, the more knowledge, the more deed there would be.

The TNFJ chief said those who think that religious knowledge limits or stops individual independence or creates hurdle in fulfilling some desire are not correct because the purpose of religious teachings is not to impose restriction on reasonable independence rather to save human power, strength and capital to be spent in useless activities because Islam is defender of body and soul and maintains the social system intact besides supporting the type of independence that helps enable mankind make achievement in different fields of life.

Agha Moosavi said Islam permits mankind to reap the benefit of all facilities in the world and does not direct to give any beneficial thing. He said our religion guides us not to forget the needs and requirements of the time and keep abreast with technology and latest industrial advancement. He said there is a saying of the Holy Prophet (SAW) “I am the city of knowledge, and Ali its door”. It declared that a human being could achieve every type of knowledge that is why the saying of Peshwa-e-Islam Natiq-e-Quran goes: “A person who recognises his time and its needs, could not get entangled in the incidents of his time”. He said our religion preaches us to achieve new ideas, and all types of knowledge that is good and suitable and rejects the one that is not suitable.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said we should follow the Holy Prophet (SAW), Khanwada-e-Muhammad and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) which guarantees blessings and ensures survival of the whole humanity instead of keeping a blind faith in colonial powers and their agents. He said we should avoid every thing that is contrary to the human dignity, honour, independence, ideology etc.

TNFJ applauds joint electorate system

RAWALPINDI, January 17: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has termed restoration of joint electorate system a good step and an important beginning aimed at discouraging biases and rooting out inferiority complex. In a statement issued here on Thursday, he said knowledge would get promotion owing to condition of being a graduate to become a member of the Assembly. He said illiterate people who reached the Assemblies without any political knowledge in the past had created host of problems for the people. He said the election reforms announced by the present government would mark an end to the hereditary politics and would strengthen serious politics.

The TNFJ chief said increase in women quota of seats would check the superiority complex, as women would be able to play their full role in politics also like they do in other departments by remaining within the limits set by Islam. He however considered increase in the number of National Assembly seats as unreasonable saying that being a poor country we should remain within available limits. He called upon the government to announce prohibition of active politics on sectarian and lingual basis as its next step for the next elections, following the historic announcement of banning extremist groups to root out terrorism. He demanded that those who are opposed to the Quaid-i-Azam and Pakistan ideology should also be declared ineligible to take part in elections. Moreover, he said those who praise foreign enemies while living in Pakistan and receive aid from foreign States should be unveiled and put to accountability.

Agha Moosavi while stressing the need of taking all patriotic religious and political parties into confidence on making the joint electorate system independent and transparent said the government should consult the representative parties instead of NGOs and should display large-heartedness in this connection. He said the government should also keep in mind that those who were declared incapable of taking part in election in accountability cases would try to take part in election. Therefore a strict watch should be kept on such elements, he added. Stressing the need of making the interference of District government in general elections impossible, he said almost all District Nazims belong to one party or the other and they would definitely try to help their party candidates succeed therefore such activities should be checked.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi demanded that 1973 Constitution should be restored forthwith so as to remove the doubts of those who were terming the election reforms of the present government “secular agenda” because creation of Pakistan was based on Nazria-e-Asaasi and its survival and development also lay in it. He said democratic values would get boost by introduction of Parliamentary system. He said the Parliament approval of the election reforms being introduced by the present government should be declared as compulsory. He said we are of the opinion that those who were opposing these reforms were against restoration of democracy in the country.

Moosavi urges UN, US to get the Kashmir and Palestine issues resolved

RAWALPINDI, January 16: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said conspiracies of enemies of the mankind could be thwarted by following the Seerat and character of Khanwada-e-Muhammad and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.). He stated this while giving his special address at a Mehfil of “Youm Azmat-e-Niswaan” that was observed throughout the country to mark the Youm-e-Wiladat of Hazrat Fatima binte Musa Kazim (S.A.). He said human being is commensurate with woman and man and the best and respectable Khanwada amongst the world nations to be followed for character building is that of Muhammad and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) a great personality of which is Hazrat Fatima who is also called Masooma and is the sign of
Azmat-e-Niswaan.

The TNFJ chief said today the whole Alam-e-Niswaan (world of women) was struggling for independence while religion and Shariat do not support independence in totality. He however said that woman, value of which was considered even less than a camel, has been showered with host of blessings in Islam making her dignity and honour crystal clear to which Surah Maryam and Surah Nisa of the Holy Quran stand witness.

Agha Moosavi said world women could get rid of the trap set by colonial powers and their agents by following in the foot-steps of Mukhaddaraat-e-Ismat and Taharat. He said colonial powers not only desire to maintain their supremacy over the women of the world but also on whole of the world of humanity and for that purpose was utilising every tactic. He said they consider Islam and Shariat a biggest danger for them therefore Pakistan is their particular target at present. He said President of Pakistan has not only extended the hand of friendship towards Vajpayee to protest the oppressed nations and the Islamic World but has also announced new steps aimed at rooting out every type of aggression, bias, brutality, oppression and terrorism. The whole world has appreciated these steps, he said adding that strict implementation of these steps was a prerequisite to restore peace and root out terrorism.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said if the United Nations, America and her allies desire to root out terrorism from the world then they were under the obligation to get the Kashmir and Palestine issues resolved in the light of the United Nations Resolutions keeping to the desires of the respective peoples and get the basic rights of the oppressed nations restored. Otherwise, he said Muslim and oppressed nations would be justified to understand that America and her allies just desire to achieve their self-interest and keep duplicity in their words and deeds and their attitude towards the Islamic World and the oppressed nations is Hippocratic.
