ISLAMABAD, : Allama Syed Zahid Abbas Kazmi, Chairman Wahdat Ulema-e-Pakistan has said that publication of blasphemous caricatures and Samarra tragedy are an open challenge to the honour and dignity of the Islamic World. He stated this while addressing a Press Conference. Tanzim Shia Aaimma Masajid Chairman Syed Hussain Kazmi, Allama Shaikh Ijaz Hussain Modarris, Allama Guftar Hussain Sadiqi, Ulema-e-Jafariya Pakistan Secretary General Allama Basharat Hussain, Tanzimul Madaris Jafariya Pakistan Central Secretary Information Allama Khurshid Haider Jawwadi, Allama Syed Zainul Abideen Naqvi, Allama Syed Qamar Abbas Kazmi, Allama Sajjad Hussain Gardezi, and Allama Ijlal Haider Al-Haideri were also present on the occasion. Allama Zahid Kazmi said Islam is the most liked religion before Allah while He sent Paighambar-e-Islam (SAWW) as a blessing for the universe and the reason of creating the universe is the personality of Khatmi Martabat (SAWW) who taught human morality to the human beings hoping in the darkness. He was tortured while doing so and when the Holy Prophet (SAWW) was asked what Ajr-e-Risalat should be given to him in return of these difficulties, he said I do not want any Ajr for Risalat but desire that you love my near ones (Ahle Bait A.S.). He lamented that today Khanwada-e-Muhammad (SAWW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) is the target of enemies of humanity. On one side some European newspapers have published blasphemous caricatures on which the Islamic World was staging protest. The protest was still going on when another tragedy took place in Iraqi city of Samarra where mausoleums of great personalities of the Khanwada-e-Risalat (A.S.) i.e. Hazrat Imam Ali Naqi Al-Hadi (A.S.) and Hazrat Imam Hassan Askari (A.S.) were attacked in bomb blasts. He said the nation was already mourning the Syed-ush-Shuhada Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) and his 72 faithful companions, and near and dear ones faced another shock initiating another chain of protests all over the world. He said the satanic forces were utilising all their energy to paint Muslims as violent, extremists and terrorists all over the world, and at the same time they are hatching conspiracy to create rift amongst Muslims, divide and rule and reap the benefit.
The publication of blasphemous caricatures and bomb blasts at the mausoleums of 10th and 11th Imams (A.S.) is a part of that conspiracy. The colonial powers desire to give an impression that Muslim Ummah is confronted with Maslaki and Maktabi conflicts. He, however, said that according to Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi there is no Maktabi or Maslaki conflict in any part of the world and all Makatab are united and keep love and devotion for Khanwada-e-Muhammad (SAWW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.). That is why, he said, after the Samarra tragedy Sunni and Shia Makatib staged a joint protest and have resolved to ensure protection and sanctity of holy places thwarting the condemnable propaganda of the satanic forces. Answering a question, Allama Kazmi said according to latest situation Maraje Uzzam and Mujtahideen in Iraq in consultation with all schools of thought have decided that the responsibility of all holy shrines and holy places would also lay on the tribal elders living there in addition to the government security agencies. He said after Samarra tragedy, attacks were also carried out at the place of Imam Ali Raza (A.S.) in Kirkuk City, and at the place of Ali Al-Murtaza (A.S.) in Basrah. He said those who had attacked the grave of Hur ibne Riahi were arrested and their nefarious designs were thwarted. Some Christian leaders have said that the pious personalities and holy places are respectable before all religions and the allied forces were issued instructions that one cannot visit about four thousand holy places including the shrines of holy personalities with shoes on while the allied forces had themselves identified about 10,000 holy places to ensure the sanctity of the same. He said at a conference held at United Arab Emirates, the United Nations, OIC and Arab League have appealed to Muslims to avoid violence in their demonstrations against blasphemy so as to save the situation from deteriorating further instead of devising any joint strategy about those who published these blasphemous caricatures. In other words, they have also put all blame on Muslims by advising them to avoid violence. He said while some international leaders have condemned Samarra tragedy, the Saudi Foreign Minister and Imam Kaaba have also condemned this incident terming it a heinous activity. He said the whole game is being played by agents of the colonial powers under a heinous agenda and the OIC platform would have to be mobilised and activated so as to avoid the same. He lamented that the OIC and Arab League have not yet condemned the Samarra tragedy which indicates that Muslims were still under the influence of Arab and non-Arab although the situation demands to defeat the combined enemies of humanity and mankind with unity. He said Pakistan came into being in the name of Islam, Sunni and Shia Makatib created it and are also developing it jointly. It has become the target of terrorists for the last two decades. Bomb blasts are the order of the day that has left the motherland wounded and crying with pain. In this situation, he said people had welcomed the decision of President Pervez Musharraf to ban terrorist groups improving the situation to some extent. But, he added, it is tragic that the banned elements are seen at the fora of the government and the opposition. He said the President takes good decisions but the Prime Minister was thwarting his efforts by meeting terrorists which is tantamount to playing a double game. He said these elements are visible whether it is oppositions meeting, MQMs meeting or the ARD meeting violating the law of the land openly by sabotaging the steps taken by President Pervez Musharraf and committing an insult of the Constitution. He reiterated his resolve to mourn the Samarra tragedy as the great tragedy of the Muslim Ummah till 8th Rabiul Awwal while the universal protest in shape of Azadari would continue till Zahoor-e-Imam Mahdi (A.S.). After the Press Conference, Wahdat Ulema-e-Pakistan Chairman Allama Zahid Abbas Kazmi performed Zanjeer-Zani along with other ulema in front of the Press Club as a protest against destruction of holy mausoleums in Samarra. A large number of national and international newsmen belonging to electronic and print media were present on the occasion. RAWALPINDI, March 03: Ashra-e-Shaheeda-e-Zindan Majalis and Matamdari programmes are continuing on the call of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. Ulema, waizeen and zakireen in their addresses at different Imambargahs and Aza Khanas highlighted the seerat and character of Hazrat Masooma (S.A.) and declared it the best example to follow for Dukhtran-e-Insaniyyat. TNFJ Central Vice-President Allama Tajuddin Haideri addressing a Majlis at Imambargah Qasr-e-Batool said that Imam Aali Muqam Hazrat Hussain ibne Ali (A.S.) was brought up in the lap of Risalat and was the rider of Dosh-e-Rasool. He not only refused Baiaat-e-Yazid to save the Sharait of his grandfather Muhammad (SAW) and high human values from rooting out rather gave a new lease of life to Islam by sacrificing his head. Today Shariat owes it to the invaluable sacrifices rendered by Nawasa-e-Rasoool (A.S.). He said publication of blasphemous caricatures in Denmark and other European newspapers is well hatched international conspiracy. The first reaction of the issue came from Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan from amongst all organisations while from amongst the governments, Saudi government was first to raise this issue but they only expressed shock over it. No other government lodged immediate protest over it while OIC was still keeping quiet that provides food for thought. He said the whole world has become a symbol of protest against European States. A Denmark company had also published a picture of Prophet Hazrat Eisa (A.S.) on shoes. At that time the Danish government had closed that company and had banned sale of those shoes. But on blasphemy of holy Prophet Muhammad (SAWW), the Danish envoy has only sought an apology from the Saudi government while on the contrary, the Danish government should have sought apology from the whole Islamic World. He said it is laudable that Danish Teachers Union has demanded that besides Christianity the religious education of Islam should also be declared a must so that people could study Islam and the world could be turned into a hub of peace by saving it from war-fire. For this purpose it is necessary to apprise the new generation about Islam, they said. He said if the Danish Teachers Union has felt this then the Muslim rulers should also understand this spirit and arrange teaching of not only other religions but also different sects within Islam so that people could understand that Islam is the religion of peace and tranquillity and source of survival for humanity. Allama Haideri strongly condemned the bomb blast near American Consulate in Karachi the other day and termed it a conspiracy aimed at pushing Pakistan into wilderness. He termed the atomic understanding reaching between India and America a matter of concern. He called upon all Azadaran to give priority to Azadari-e-Mazloom-e-Karbala over all other things till 8th Rabiul Awwal following the Code of Azadari announced by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Hamid Moosavi. Matamdari and Noha Khwani followed the Majlis.
RAWALPINDI, March 02: Ashra-e-Shaheeda-e-Zindaan Majalis and Matamdari programmes continued throughout the country on the call of Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. Like other cities of the country, pursadari was organised by different religious and Matmi organisations and religious institutions of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Ulema, zakireen and waizeen declared the following of pious uswah of Khanwada-e-Risalat as the success here and Hereafter and the best example to follow. Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi addressing Majlis-e-Aza under the auspices of Syed Asim Bokhari at Sawan said that Aseerah-e-Shaam Hazrat Sakina bint-ul Hussain (S.A.) despite being a minor shattered the courts of Shaam and Kufa along with other Mukhadderaat-e-Ismat and gave a new lease of life to the world by disseminating the real essence of Paigham-e-Hussainiyyat. The commitment and courage of the Aseeraan-e-Karbala through the black winds of oppression and brutality is the beacon of light for the powers struggling for independence and freedom. Syed Qamar Zaidi said that Islam does not consider anyone as bad. That is why an Ayah says: You dont call anyones god as bad, whether he may not call your true God as bad. He said under a heinous international conspiracy, first Al-Aqsa mosque was set on fire, then Babri Mosque was destructed and later different European newspapers published blasphemous caricatures so as to instigate Muslims, then after failing in doing so they destructed the mausoleums of Hazrat Imam Ali Naqi (A.S.) and Hazrat Imam Hassan Askari (A.S.) carrying out bomb blasts against which the whole Islamic World is staging protest. He said protest is the basic right of everyone. He expressed his concern that problems are being increased owing to policies of international organisations. Whenever American and British rulers set out on foreign tours, one incident or the other takes place which provides food for thought. He said when American Foreign Minister and British Minister were on foreign tour, the Samarra tragedy took place and now President Bush is coming to India and Pakistan and on this occasion Indian magazine India Today has committed desecration by publishing the picture of Kaaba on gambling play card. In these circumstances, he said, the saying of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi is proving to be true that after Iraq, the eyes of international colonial powers are now on Makkah and Madinah. He made it clear that Bait-Ullah is respectable for the whole humanity. Declaring the suggestion of President of Pakistan to initiate international legislation for violating the respect of Prophets a good step, he said the names of Mashaheer-e-Islam and Shaair-Ullah should also be included in it rather insult to any Maslak or Maktab may be declared as a cognizable offence. The Muslims would have to practice it themselves first and the oppression and violation of rights going on in Muslim States may has to be corrected. He said UNESCO while condemning it in Paris has also recognised that Samarra situated in the north of Baghdad is respectable for Islam but no open condemnation of the same by OIC and Arab League provides food for thought. He said the mourning of Samarra tragedy would continue till 8th Rabiul Awwal i.e. the Shahadat of Hazrat Imam Hassan Askari (A.S.). He called upon the Azadaran to give priority to Azadari over all other things during these days. Allama Basharat Hussain Imami, Allama Sajjad Hussain Haideri, Maulana Malik Ijlal Haider Al-Haideri, Zakir Syed Karam Hussain Shah, Zakir Syed Ulfat Hussain and others also addressed. Earlier, Zuljinah and Alam procession was taken out in which Matmis participated in a large number. A Majlis-e-Aza was also held at Masjid and Imambargah Qasr-e-Khadijatul Kubra Tarlai Kalan which was addressed by renowned ulema of the country. A Matmi procession was also taken out on the occasion. Zakirah Roohi Kazmi addressed a Majlis-e-Aza organised by Anjuman Dukhtran-e-Islam (Regd) at Jamia-tul-Murtaza G-9/4, Islamabad.
RAWALPINDI, March 01: Majalis and Matamdari programmes marking Ashra-e-Shaheeda-e-Zindan and protest against blasphemy, Samarra tragedy, rocket attack on Sahabi-e-Rasool Hazrat Salman Farsi (R.A.), bomb blasts in Karbala-e-Mualla continued throughout the country on the call of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. A Matmi protest rally organised by Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya District Rawalpindi was held at Committee Chowk. Ulema, zakireen, central and local office-bearers of TNFJ, Matmi Salars, intellectuals, and different religious, political and social personalities led the rally.
The participants of the rally were carrying banners and placards inscribed with protest slogans against blasphemy and Samarra tragedy. They raised protest slogans while performing Matam against destruction of mausoleums of Hazrat Imam Ali Naqi (A.S.) and Hazrat Imam Hassan Askari (A.S.) in Samarra, and termed the continued terrorism in Iraq, and desecration of holy places as work of the satanic forces. Central TNFJ Spokesman Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi read out the special message of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Hamid Moosavi in which he made it clear that Shaair-Ullah have been considered signs of Allah and Ayaat that had been introduced by Prophets, Messengers, Aulia and Righteous Persons that is why their respect is a part of piety.
He said Islam not only preaches peace and tranquillity but also gives commandment to condemn all types of aggression, reply evil with good, root out oppression with justice and fair-play, and Munkiraat with Maaroofaat, while considers discrimination as oppression. The followers of Satan existed in every era because Iblees has been given an open hand till a particular time. That is why, he said, satanic powers were declaring Islam a religion of punishments and its followers as violent, utilising all their energies and by being laced with all types of weapons and misuse of media. He said the blasphemous caricatures were being published, the dignity of the holy shrines, that are respectable before all religions, Masalik, religions and the whole humanity, is being trampled so as to fan biases and pitch brother against brother reaping self-interest by doing so. At present all energy is being utilised to prove that Maslaki and Maktabi war is going on amongst the oppressed nations and Muslim States. The fresh example of this conspiracy is destruction of mausoleums of Hazrat Imam Naqi (A.S.) and Hazrat Imam Hassan Askari (A.S.) that are respectable not only for Ahle Tashayyo but for all schools of thought.
Agha Moosavi said that February 22 tragedy is the unforgettable one in history for which not only the satanic media but the western agent Muslim media has also launched an heinous propaganda that Shias and Sunnis are not only terrorists rather they are destructing mosques of each other and a large number of people have been killed in these riots. He said on the contrary, the Iraqi Defence Minister Saadoon Deelmi says that it is a baseless propaganda in which hue and cry has been raised about attacks on mosques giving different figures at different places. He said that contrary to this propaganda, only one mosque named Jamia An-Nida situated in Baghdads area called Cairo was destructed only for the reason that a huge dump of weapons was present there. Actually a total 119 people were killed in whole Iraq. He said that all schools of thought not only staged a joint demonstration against this heinous conspiracy rather they also offered their prayers jointly and has said that attack on anyone is the attack on whole Iraq. He said a Mufti in Cairo has issued a fatwa also that one who creates differences between Shias and Sunnis, is not a Muslim. He said desecration of Muhammad (SAW), Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.), pious Sahaba Kubaar, Prophets, and Righteous Persons and attacks on their shrines is the attack on religions. The TNFJ chief questioned that if only condemnation of such acts is enough? He stressed the need of practical steps in this connection and called upon the United Nations, and all world organisations protecting basic rights to take immediate notice of this situation. He asked the UNESCO, and International Organisation for Protection of Folk Heritage that what they have done so far and why they did not take any notice of the destruction of holy mausoleums of Hazrat Imam Ali Naqi (A.S.) and Hazrat Imam Hassan Askari (A.S.) constructed for more than 1100 years ago. He demanded strict notice of the tragedy in light of the Hague Convention, Human Rights Declarations, International Instruments, Protection of Folk Heritage, and the 31st General Assembly Resolution and get the mausoleums of Imam Naqi (A.S.) and Imam Askari (A.S.) reconstructed forthwith. Agha Moosavi said that the Islamic World comprises 57 States that is one-forth of the world. As many as 199 States and members of the United Nations and the Muslim World itself is enriched with resources. He said Pope and the United Nations also condemned the Samarra tragedy while some countries and organisations, although late, but are condemning the tragedy also but Pakistan that was created in the name of Islam, and where such powers are there in the government and the opposition who did not condemn the Samarra tragedy openly rather religion, Shariat and Islam are being used for reaping self-interest. He said those countries that are short of manpower e.g. France and Britain, are not only permanent members of the Security Council but they also enjoy Veto power. Att present word is out to further expand the Security Council and the whole strength is being used for Japan, India and Germany to join this prestigious club. But unfortunately, he said, Islamic World is keeping quiet, neither have they had any permanent seat in the Security Council nor any of them has the Veto power and for that reason the Islamic World is a target of colonial powers. The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Moosavi said had we been permanent member of the Security Council then the Kashmir and Palestine issues would have been resolved a long ago, no one would have the courage to interfere in Afghanistan and Iraq and no one would have been committed blasphemy so openly. Demanding to summon emergent OIC meeting, he said the Muslim Ummah would have to adopt a strong, joint and defensive strategy if they desire to help the oppressed nations, earn survival for humanity, stop interference in Muslim Ummah, and save Islam, Quran, holy books and holy places from desecration. Otherwise, he said, one State after the other, one Maslak after the other, and the colonial powers are eyeing on Makkah and Madinah after the holy places of Iraq. It is therefore responsibility of all and sundry to express hatred against anyone who promotes biases, sows the seeds of differences, and presents Islam as a violent religion, he added. He said we all should announce our joint commitment and desecration and attack against anyone would be considered as an attack and desecration of us all. Agha Moosavi made it clear that Khanwada-e-Muhammad (SAWW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) had disseminated the Mukhadderat-e-Ismat of Paigham-e-Hussainiyyat throughout the world by delivering heart-rending addresses in the streets of Shaam and Kufa and in the courts of Yazid and Ibne Ziad. He said the grand father (SAWW) had preached the religion while grandson Hussain (A.S.) defended it. The whole humanity is shocked over Samarra tragedy. On the occasion of Ashra-e-Shaheedah-e-Zindaan, he reiterated his resolve to continue the mourning of desecration of Rasool (SAW), Aal-e-Rasool (A.S.), Sahaba Kubaar (R.A.) and the destruction of mausoleums in Samarra till 8th Rabiul Awwal the day of Shahadat of Hazrat Imam Hassan Askari (A.S.) while universal protest of Azadari against oppression and brutality would continue till the Zahoor-e-Imam Mahdi (A.S.). Allama Shaikh Ijaz Hussain Modarris, Ch. Mushtaq Hussain, and Syed Naseer Hussain Sabzwari also addressed the protest Matmi rally. Noha Khawni and Matam were performed on the occasion. The participants of the rally later dispersed peacefully. In Quetta, a matmi protest rally was taken out from Barouri. On reaching BMC Chowk, President TNFJ Provincial Council Balochistan Sadar Muhammad Ali advocate addressed the rally. He said Samarra tragedy is a heinous crime of those who committed blasphemy of holy Prophet (SAWW) and his Aal (A.S.) aimed at creating rift among Ummah. Similar massive matmi protest rallies were also held in different cities.
