Eid-ul-Azha observed: Moosavi stresses need of promoting pious feelings of sacrifice

RAWALPINDI, Like other global parts, Eid-ul-Azha was celebrated throughout Pakistan including Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas on Wednesday with religious spirit, devotion and respect.

In federal capital Islamabad and its twin city Rawalpindi, magnificent Eid congregations were held at Jamia Mosques, Imambargahs and open places in which millions of Farzandaan-e-Tauheed by prostrating themselves before Allah offered gratitude of blessings.

In Rawalpindi, main Eid congregation was held at Municipal ground where Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, who is also the chief of the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, led the Eid prayer and delivered sermon.

He highlighted the historic occasion of presenting the sacrifice of Hazrat Ismail (A.S.) by Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S.) in way of Allah and the philosophy of sacrifice. He stressed the need of promoting the pious feelings of sacrifice, brotherhood and tolerance for solution to problems confronted by the humanity.

Various resolutions were adopted on the occasion regarding important national and international matters.

Special prayers were offered for end to the troubles faced by the Islamic World, solution of problems, safety of Sha’a’er-Ullah, success of freedom movements being continued the world over, and integrity and solidarity of motherland Pakistan.

Moosavi in Eid-ul-Azha message advises to take care of oppressed the world over, earthquake victims

RAWALPINDI, January 11: The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said Eid-ul-Azha is the name of survival of the spirit of sacrifice which indicates the unity and brotherhood of the Islamic World.

In a special message issued on the pious occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, he said according to the saying of the Holy Prophet (SAW), Hajj is the best deed after faith in Allah and Rasool (SAW) and as justice and fair-play are considered most near to piety in Islam, therefore justice, fair-play, equality are displayed on the occasion of Hajj and the chance to express national unity and collectiveness is enjoyed by the whole Islamic World on the occasion of Hajj that is not available to any religion or Millat.

Agha Moosavi said that the historic sermon of the Holy Prophet (SAW) delivered on the occasion of Hujjatul Wida is exemplary charter for the whole world of humanity the essence of which is Wilayat and on this great occasion the certificate of completion of religion and Shariat was also issued. After praise of Allah, the Holy Prophet (SAW) in his Hujjatul Wida sermon said: Listen my words carefully, that perhaps I could not meet you at this place after this year, beware all customs of the time of ignorance have been trampled under my feet and all bloods of the era of ignorance have been forgiven, all people are offspring of Adam (A.S.) and have been created with earth, that is why Islam gives priority to the respect of mankind, in it there is no condition of a country, ideology and belief.

The TNFJ chief said the Holy Prophet (SAW) continued: No doubt, your father and Lord (Allah) is one and the standard of elderliness is gentlemanliness and piousness. Talking about womenfolk and slaves, he said: Keep it in your mind that every Muslim is the brother of another Muslim, also listen that your blood, wealth and honour is respectable like this day and the city of Makkah have been declared respectable and holy for you.

Moosavi said we all should analyse ourselves that whether we are following the commandments of Risalat? We, on the contrary, are thirsty of each other’s blood instead of protecting one another’s blood. Perhaps that is the reason that life, wealth and honour of none is safe today in this world the basic reason of which, he added is contradiction of religion, Shariat, Quran, Sunnah, and the sayings of the Holy Prophet (SAW).

He said we would have to take care of the oppressed nations, have-nots of the Islamic World, oppressed Muslims of Kashmir, Palestine, Iraq, and Afghanistan, and the earthquake victims on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha if we desire to reach the height of blessings and welfare.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Moosavi, on the occasion of Eid-e-Qurban, reiterated his resolve to give priority to religion, Shariat, motherland and its people over all other things and said he would continue his practical struggle with sincerity of purpose to achieve promotion and protection of his pious goals and fulfilment of religious rights.

Youm-e-Aza observed marking Hazrat Imam Baqir (A.S.) martyrdom anniversary; Government of Pakistan urged to exert full pressure on Saudi government for reconstruction of Baqee, Mualla destructed shrines under the Junejo-Moosavi agreement

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan – January 08: The Youm-e-Shahadat of Hazrat Imam Muhammad Baqir (A.S.) was observed throughout the country as Youm-e-Aza in line with the announcement made by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi with honour, respect and religious spirit.

The day began with recitation from the Holy Quran in mosques in all big and small cities and towns of the country including the Federal Capital Islamabad, Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas while Majalis-e-Aza were held at Imambargahs under the auspices of religious and Matmi organisations followed by Taboot processions during which mourners of Imam Baqir (A.S.) paid condolence by performing Noha Khwani and Matamdari.

Allama Syed Qalab-e-Abbas Al-Qummi in his address at the Youm-e-Aza Majlis organised by Anjuman Ghulaman-e-Abu Talib at Qasr-e-Abu Talib said, Hazrat Imam Baqir (A.S.) was placed at the highest pedestal of knowledge and acme for which he was given the title of Baqir-ul-Uloom, the one who disseminates knowledge.

He said today the whole world is confronted by the menace of terrorism the basic reason of which is ignorance, therefore, he said, the new generation would have to be laced with the ornament of knowledge so as to turn this world into a hub of peace and give peace to humanity. By doing this, he added, the darkness of oppression, suppression and brutality could be converted into a leading light. Syed Naseer Hussain Sabzwari and Zakir Fida Hussain Jafri also addressed the Majlis.

Addressing a Youm-e-Aza Majlis organised by Zakir Nazir Hussain Jafri at Imambargah Qasr-e-Shabbir Dhoke Syedan, Syed Qamar Zaidi said Hazrat Imam Baqir (A.S.) is the eye-witness of Karbala Tragedy who confronted the heinous rulers of his era with full force of faith and remained entangled with debauchers and liars. All Muslim rulers should ponder over that the basic reason of those problems that are being confronted by the Muslim States today is their negation towards principles of Islam and Mashaheer-e-Islam. He said the other nations not only respect their Mashaheer-e-Islam but also consider their signs as respectable.

But today Saudi Arabia, where millions of Muslims are gathered to perform Haj, has rooted out the signs of pious personalities. The Saudi rulers should keep in mind that like Mashaheer-e-Islam are respectable similarly their graves and shrines are also the source of becoming near to Allah.

A resolution adopted unanimously on the occasion strongly condemned the act of terrorism near the holy shrine of Imam Hussain (A.S.) in Karbala-e-Mualla and termed it a heinous conspiracy of the enemies of Islam. The resolution paid tributes to the Iraqi people and ulema for thwarting the conspiracy of international colonial powers to pitch different Makatib with each other through practical display of brotherhood and mutual understanding. The resolution said that colonial chief was finding excuse to prolonging its stay at Iraqi soil by using condemnable tactics but she would have to bow down her knees before the popular strength.

The resolution called upon the international organisations, particularly the United Nations, to play their role in driving out the allied forces from Iraqi soil and get the bloodshed going on there stopped.

The resolution strongly demanded from the Government of Pakistan to exert full pressure on Saudi government for reconstruction of destructed shrines in Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Mualla under the May 21, 1985 Junejo-Moosavi agreement. It said that 11-point Shia demands include formation of Shia Auqaf Board, issuance of Shia Deenyat and are still there on government agenda for which a peaceful movement was launched in 1984 courting 14,000 arrests and Safdar Ali Naqvi and Ashraf Ali Rizvi had sacrificed their life.

The resolution said that struggle is still on for the same but we always adopted a peaceful policy. It said that education is the basic right of all therefore Maktab-e-Tashayyo should also be given its right on the basis of equality.

Youm-e-Aza Majalis were also held at Jamia Wali-ul-Asr, Danishgah Rasool-e-Islam, Danishgah-e-Jafriya, Jamia Masjid Jafariya I-9, and Masjid and Imambargah Imam Moosa-e-Kazim.

Youm-e-Soug observed across the country for Karbala tragedy martyrs; rallies and majalis condole to Maraje, express shock over world silence, warn that it may be their turn tomorrow

ISLAMABAD, January 07: Youm-e-Soug, or the Day of Mourning was observed throughout Pakistan on Saturday with religious and national spirit for up-gradation of status of those who lost their life in Zaireen-e-Karbala tragedy and in the collapse of a building in Makkah Mukarrama on the call of Quaid-i-Milat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi.

Quran Khwani was organised at mosques and Majalis-e-Taraheem were held in Imambargahs in all small and big cities and towns of the country including all the four provinces, Federal Capital, Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas.

Addressing these gatherings, ulema and khutaba prayed for the up-gradation of the status of martyrs of Karbala tragedy and for those who lost their life in collapse of building in Makkah.

In Federal Capital Islamabad, a peaceful rally was organised by Mukhtar Students Organisation in front of Press Club Camp Office led by ulema, religious, political and social elite. The participants of the rally were carrying different banners and placards inscribed with different slogans.

Addressing the rally, Chairman MSO Pakistan Syed Bu Ali Mahdi said, the worst incident of terrorism near the holy shrine of Imam Hussain (A.S.) in the holiest city of Iraq Karbala-e-Mualla is the work of international colonial chief who was using every tactic to seize the national resources of all Muslim States including that of Iraq.

Expressing condolences to the bereaved families of the incident, Maraje Ozzam of Hoza Ilmia Najaf-e-Ashraf and the oppressed Iraqi people, he assured them of the solidarity from the Pakistani people and prayed for the early recovery of the injured.

MSO Additional Secretary General Adeel Haideri presented a resolution on this occasion which said that at present the whole world was under the influence of terrorism and the international terrorist was responsible for the same. The resolution made it clear that as per a saying of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Hamid Moosavi, evil could be wiped out with good, oppression with justice and terrorism with patience. But, he added, the colonial chief was not lending her ear and was using all tactics to reap self-interest and promote terrorism so as to pitch one Maktab against the other but her designs have been thwarted and she will have to face the same brunt in future also.

The resolution said that the objective of the Karbala tragedy was to make ground for further stay of the allied forces in Iraq. There is no Maktabi conflict anywhere including Iraq rather the colonial powers were promoting such activities themselves. It said that suicide attempts were carried out in Karbala-e-Mualla and Mavi at the same time in a bid to prove that Maktabi conflict exists but the role played by Iraqi intelligentsia, Mujtahideen, and Hoza is laudable who thwarted this conspiracy with their mutual unity.

The resolution expressed shock over the role being played by the Muslim World and the international organisations, particularly the so-called champions of human rights who cry hoarse when they feel any noise elsewhere but when the terrorist activities take place on the holy soil of Prophets in Iraq where mausoleums of Amirul Momineen Hazrat Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) and Shaheed-e-Insaniyyat (martyr of humanity) Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) are situated, then they keep a criminal silence which is condemnable.

The resolution made it clear that murder of even a single person is the murder of the whole humanity and desecration of any holy place is the trampling of dignity of the Sha’a’ir-Ullah, and interference or attack on any country is the interference and attack on all countries which we strongly condemn.

The resolution made it clear that Makkah is such a place from where the Islam began and Hussainiyyat gave a new lease of life to Islam in the plains of Karbala and the evil forces are still afraid of Hussainiyyat.

The participants of the rally while expressing heartfelt condolences on the Makkah incident and Zaireen-e-Karbala tragedy reiterated their resolve not only to take care of Hussainiyyat, but would not also allow anybody to cause any harm to it.

The resolution called upon the oppressed and Muslim people all over the world to understand the colonial conspiracies otherwise they would not be remembered in the future history. It declared that those who give air to Maktabi, Maslaki and group differences have no link with Islam and humanity and suicide is condemnable in all religions of the world rather it is Haram in Islam.

It expressed concern over the silence of Islamic World, Arab League, and OIC over bloodshed in Iraq and warned that it may be their turn tomorrow, therefore, it said, the whole Islamic World should raise their voice of protest against the oppression going on in all Islamic States including Iraq, representative organisation of the Islamic World i.e. OIC should lay down a solid and courageous strategy otherwise there is no justification of its existence.

The resolution said that international colonial powers are not friends to anyone rather they only desire their self-interest and dominance. The resolution made it clear that righteousness could not be overcome by using the indecent tactics of terrorism and bloodshed.

The participants of the rally dispersed peacefully after raising vociferous slogans against America.

In Rawalpindi, Majlis-e-Aza in connection with the Youm-e-Soug was held at Imambargah Zainul Abideen under the auspices of TNFJ District Youm-e-Soug Committee. District President TNFJ Alhaj Ghulam Murtaza Chauhan, Allama Syed Zahid Abbas Kazmi, and Maulana Syed Tabassum Abbas Kazmi addressed.

According to reports reaching the TNFJ headquarters, Majalis-e-Aza were held and protest rallies were taken out in connection with the Youm-e-Soug in Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, Peshawar, Hyderabad, Larkana, Nawabshah, Sakkur, Khairpur Miras, Sargodha, Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Bhakkar, Faisalabad, Jhelum, Chakwal, Attock, Gujrat, Kohat and other cities.

QMJ Moosavi announces Youm-e-Soug for Zaireen-e-Karbala tragedy, those who lost life in Makkah building collapse

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan – January 06: The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has announced to observe Youm-e-Soug (mourning day) on Saturday, January 7 for Zaireen-e-Karbala tragedy and those who lost their life in the collapse of a building in Makkah Mukarrama.

Addressing a gathering on the occasion of death anniversary of Sahabi-e-Rasool Hazrat Abuzar Ghaffari (R.A.), he said although murder of a human being is a great sin, and particularly that of Momineen and Muslimeen at the holy places is not only a massacre rather also trampling of the dignity and honour of Sha’a’ir-Ullah and an insult to the humanity. He said no religion in the world allowed suicide and it is Haram in Islam.

Agha Moosavi said a personality named Najia came to the Masoom (A.S.) and said, Oh, Maula! Moghira bin Saeed says that a Momin does not carry so and so disease. He replied he is unaware of Sahib-e-Yaseen. A momin named Habib bin Israel has been mentioned in Surah Yaseen, which is called heart of Quran. About this momin there is an Ayah that . And the hand of the Sahib-e-Yaseen was inactive, who pointing from the same hand used to say to his nation, ‘follow the prophet’. The Masoom (A.S.) said, I am also watching his inactive hand right now, Sahib-e-Yaseen made the atheists afraid of wrath of God but he was martyred after two days. The Masoom (A.S.) said, a Momin could confront any type of test and could die any type of death, however, a Momin could not commit suicide.

Therefore, Moosavi said the saying of the Masoom (A.S.) proves that one who commits suicide could not be a Momin rather Momin is the one from whom the whole humanity remains safe and he is the protector of the life, honour, wealth and dignity of all human beings.

The TNFJ chief strongly condemning the Zaireen-e-Karbala tragedy termed it an open act of terrorism and blamed the international terrorist for the same who was creating justification to stay more in Iraq by polluting the situation there despite popular demand for immediate exit of the allied forces from Iraq after peaceful elections as a result of unity and mutual understanding displayed by the Iraqi people.

He appealed all schools of thought to organise Quran Khawani and Majalis-e-Tarheem for those Zaireen who lost their life in Karbala incident and for those Haj pilgrims who died in Makkah Mukarrama, express sympathies with the affected families, and pray for the early recovery of the injured and for the survival and integrity of the Islamic World and also raise voice of protest against the colonial conspiracies, oppression, brutality and terrorism going on all around including Iraq, Afghanistan, Kashmir, and Palestine.

Meanwhile, Markazi Youm-e-Sough Committee of the TNFJ has been formed to organise programmes for Youm-e-Sough. Dr. S.M. Rizvi has been nominated as Convener and Adeel Sarwar Haideri as its Secretary.

Moosavi on Zilhajj 5: Objective of Hazrat Abuzar (R.A.) was to restore justice for which he had to bear exile

RAWALPINDI, January 05: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan has said that seerat of Abuzar (R.A.) would have to be adopted to save the humanity from cyclones, floods, earthquakes and all type of crises.

In a special message issued on the occasion of death anniversary of Sahabi-e-Rasool Hazrat Abuzar Ghaffari (R.A.) that is being observed throughout the country with religious spirit, devotion and respect on Friday, he said there is a statement of minor daughter of Hazrat Abuzar Ghaffari (R.A.) that when a few people from Rabzah came to enquire about the health of my father, they asked what are you afraid of. He replied that there is fear of sins. When asked what is needed, he said blessings of Allah.

Agha Moosavi said that at present the whole world of humanity was in need of blessings because oppression, suppression and brutality have surrounded the oppressed nations and the Islamic World from all around, international terrorist was staying in Afghanistan and Iraq, Hindus and Zionists were massacring Muslims in Kashmir and Palestine while Muslims were looking towards others for their own decision despite the fact that live nations take their own decisions.

He said world is the field of Hereafter, what one will sow here would reap in the Hereafter. Similarly, it has been said that world is a jail for a Momin (believer) and heaven for an atheist, he added. Allah tests his men by putting them in difficulty and there is a commandment of Allah that He has created death and life only for the purpose to test who amongst you is best as far as deeds are concerned.

He said Abdur Rehman bin Hujjaj says that test and trial was mentioned in the presence of Hazrat Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S.) that how Allah tests a Momin. The Masoom (A.S.) said when this question was asked from the Holy Prophet (SAW) that who was tested the most in the world, he had replied Prophets (A.S.), after then those persons who are near to those persons as far as status is concerned, then whose who are near them, then test and trial is carried out in line with the faith and good deeds of the Momin, one who is with complete faith and good deeds is tested the more and one who is weak is tested less.

The Imam (A.S.) said there are some sincere people of Allah on earth that when any gift is sent from the sky, Allah diverts that from them and when test is sent then its direction is put toward the sincere men. The Imam-e-Sadiq (A.S.) said, a Momin should carry eight qualities: should be in peace and dignity at the time of trial and test; be patient during the test; be thankful at the time of expansion of blessings; should be satisfied on the rizq given by Allah; do not carry out oppression and suppression on enemies; do not commit sin for the sake of friends; put himself in difficulty but keeps others satisfied and provides them rest; knowledge is friend of a Momin; kindness is his knowledge and patience his Ameer-e-Lashkr, and softness is a father like target for him. He said Hazrat Imam Muhammad Baqir (A.S.) said, Momin is harder than the mountain, sometime a mountain moves but nothing could move a Momin from religion.

The TNFJ chief said Hazrat Abuzar Ghaffari (R.A.) was laced with all those qualities about which there is a saying of the Paighambar-e-Akram (SAW) that sky did not put shadow and the earth did not carry a person on its back that may be more truthful than Abuzar (R.A.).

He said the objective of Hazrat Abuzar (R.A.) was to restore justice and fair-play, he considered oppression against anyone as sin, and had to bear exile for such thinking but he remained stuck to his principles. He remained in the Rabzah desert for quite long, his son died and buried. He said I would have wept by sitting besides your grave but I had a long journey ahead. Then his wife died and buried at the same place and he was left only with his minor daughter in that desert who said, father I am hungry for three days and I am giving in. Abuzar (R.A.) collected some sand to make a pillow and laid down by putting his head on this ‘pillow’. His minor daughter was watching him and felt that he is about to die, she started weeping and asking what would she do for his coffin and burial etc. in that desert. The father softly looked towards her and said when my soul alights from my body, you may put the Abaa on my face and sit on the way leading to Iraq from where a caravan would pass. You may ask the people in the caravan that Sahabi-e-Rasool Abuzar (R.A.) has died, make arrangement for his coffin and burial. He said, my dear daughter I was given this news by the Holy Prophet (SAW) on the occasion of Battle of Tabook. The same things happened; when a caravan came visible, his daughter called for them saying Oh, people in the caravan, a great Sahabi-e-Rasool Abuzar (R.A.) has died, I am his daughter. Therefore, the caravan stopped and when people saw the body of Abuzar (R.A.), they started weeping. Malik-e-Ashtar who was a Governor during the Caliphate period of Hazrat Ali (A.S.) offered a precious Hilla costing 4,000 dirham as coffin for Abuzar (R.A.) and led the funeral prayer followed by burial.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Hamid Moosavi presented condolence to the followers of pious Sahaba Kubaar, Ahle Bait Atahaar (A.S.) and Hazrat Ahmed Mukhtar (SAW) on this tragic occasion.

Moosavi says Jordan IM statement violation of fundamental rights; announces to observe Ayyam-e-Shahadat of Hazrat Abuzar (R), Hazrat Imam Baqir (A) and Hazrat Muslim (A)

RAWALPINDI, January 04: Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that humanity could get rid of problems and difficulties by following the seerat and character of Hazrat Abuzar Ghaffari (R.A.), Hazrat Imam Muhammad Baqir (A.S.) and Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel (A.S.).

He stated this while addressing the central office-bearers who called on him at the head of TNFJ Additional Secretary General Syed Shujaat Ali Bokhari to review the arrangements for a high level meeting of the Tehreek to be held on January 12. Delegates from all over the country would participate in the meeting in which line of action for oncoming month of Muharramul Haram would be laid.

Agha Moosavi said the role of Aulia and Saleheen had been important in every era from which different nations, religions and schools of thought reaped the enlightenment rather bettered their future by keeping their principles and sayings in view.

Hazrat Abuzar Ghaffari is that personality about whom there is a saying of the Holy Prophet (SAW) that the sky did not give shadow, the earth did not carry any human being that had been more truthful than Abuzar, and Hazrat Imam Muhammad Baqir (A.S.) stands witness to the Karabala incident and promoted the knowledge of his grandfather Rasool-e-Khuda (SAW) and achieved the title of Baqir-ul-Uloom while the greatness of Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel (A.S.) is that he has the honour of being the Safeer-e-Hussaini and his role is a bright example for the world of diplomats.

He said the Ayyam-e-Shahadat of these three personalities would be observed on Zilhij 5, 7, and 9 with religious spirit, devotion and respect.

The TNFJ chief Hamid Moosavi demanded from the government to take effective steps to ensure law and order situation throughout the country during the Ayyam-e-Shahadat and on the occasion of Eidul Azha while people should themselves be fully alert and promote unity and brotherhood on every occasion because in it lay the welfare and survival of the nation.

He said the Islamic World is itself responsible for all problems and difficulties that were self-created the fresh example of which is the statement of Jordan’s Interior Minister Eid Al-Faiz in which he has said that the followers of Maktab-e-Jafar ibne Muhammad would never be allowed to construct mosques and Hussainiyaat. He said this statement is not only the violation of fundamental rights rather is also against the spirit of Makkah Declaration which should be taken care of by the United Nations and international organisations of fundamental rights. He strongly protested with the Jordan’s government on this statement.
