Allama Syed Baqir Naqvi Urged Students to Fulfil Their National and Religious Responsibilities Alongside the Pursuit of Knowledge
Rawalpindi, November 01, 2025: The head of Tehreek-e-Nifaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafaria Pakistan, Allama Agha Syed Hussain Muqadsi, has said that the establishment of a society free from sin and prejudice is the ultimate objective of Islam. He stated that both outward and inward purity lead a society toward goodness, whereas the absence of purity results in intellectual decline and a culture tainted with immorality and sin.
He added that God’s bestowal of infallibility upon His prophets and messengers is a clear proof of divine purity, while the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his purified family), who holds the station of supreme infallibility, represents the highest manifestation of purity and perfection.
Allama Muqadsi further said that the creation of Pakistan, its founding ideology, and the struggle for its establishment were outcomes of intellectual and spiritual purity. To elevate this vision to its peak, he stressed the need to follow the noble path of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Iqbal. He lamented that incidents of disrespect toward Jinnah’s portrait in government institutions and social and political spheres are a serious question mark for the nation.
He expressed these views while addressing students during a lecture at the monthly training session “Qawim”, organized by the Mukhtar Students Organization Pakistan.
Allama Muqadsi said that purity is the preface to servitude, while worship is the very purpose of human creation. He emphasized that Islam’s system of purity is vast and comprehensive, encompassing not only physical cleanliness but also inner purification and moral refinement.
He added that the followers of Imam Jafar al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) can safeguard the youth of Islam from colonial materialism and moral corruption by making purity of heart and mind, along with spirituality, the guiding principles of their lives.
Allama Muqadsi also stated that the life of Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi al-Najafi (may God elevate his rank)—the spiritual leader of the Shia community and head of the Jafaria nation—is a reflection of spirituality and purity. He said that the Shia nation can achieve the goal of doctrinal purity by following the enlightened and pure principles of Agha Moosavi.
Addressing the same session, Provincial President of TNFJ, Allama Syed Baqir Naqvi, urged students to fulfill their national and religious responsibilities alongside the pursuit of education. He said that the youth are the architects of the nation’s bright future; therefore, they must build their character on a foundation of intellectual and ideological purity.
On this occasion, Chairman of the Mukhtar Students Organization, Syed Muhammad Abbas Kazmi, highlighted the importance and continuity of intellectual training. Member of the Supervisory Council and former Central President, Syed Baqir Naqvi, was also present at the event.
