RAWALPINDI, October 18: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya has said that everyone will have to commit with pure heart not to give up good and avoid the evil-doing so as to survive all earthly and otherwise catastrophes including the earthquake. He stated this while delivering his special address at a gathering organised by Mukhtar Students Organisation here on Tuesday in connection with the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Mukhtar Saqafi (R.A.) on the occasion of Youm-e-Mukhtar Saqafi. He said Islam is laced with qualities and good deeds and is free from evil and is the most liked religion by Allah and on this basis it has been said that one who would adopt a religion other than Islam would not be accepted. Allah has kept a balance, justice and tranquillity in everything and mankind has to be provided with peace, tranquillity and deliverance. On this basis, Zaat-e-Ilahi sent Khasan-e-Illahi to guide and preach the whole humanity, restore justice and fair-play, condemn oppression, brutality, suppression, evil and terrorism, and utilise all their energy to ponder what a human being should do? What should be avoided? Agha Moosavi said, Allah Says: That tell them that come near me so that I may tell you all that has been made Haram (unlawful) on you by Allah. He said like every human being is under the obligation to know about the Wajbaat and his duties so as to follow the same, similarly it is also binding on him to be in the knowledge of all those things committing of which is crime, Haram, illegal, sin so that he may avoid all types of Moharrimaat, and individual, collective and social bad deeds that may cause earthly and otherwise difficulties, problems, accidents, incidents and mishaps, the most important good deed from the same is justice and fair-play and the worst of them all is evil-doing, crime, oppression, brutality, suppression and not giving justice to the oppressed and the have-nots. On this basis, he said, Hazrat Mukhtar Saqafi had took Baiat from all tribes and elite on four things i.e. Book of Allah, Sunnat-e-Rasool, revenge for Shahanshah-e-Mazloomin Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) and his Ahle Bait (A.S.), protection of rights of the vulnerable and the have-nots. This was the reason, he added, that the real inheritor of the blood of holy Prophet (SAW)s grandson Syed-ush-Shuhada Imam Hussain (A.S.), Hazrat Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.), had prayed for Mukhtar that may Allah give him the Jaza-e-Khair (good reward). The TNFJ chief said that Hazrat Mukhtar Saqafi kissed martyrdom fulfilling the norms of justice and fair-play, taking revenge from the oppressed and defending martyrdom that is inheritance of the Momin (believer). That is why international colonial powers are afraid of the Mukhtars Lalkaar, he added. He said the oppressed nations and the Islamic World are confronted with one problem or the other today, oppression and brutality is going on in Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan and Iraq, motherland Pakistan is in the grip of earthquakes sending a wave of shock and grief all around, if we have to avoid all this and make the whole world including Pakistan a hub of peace and let the humanity and mankind survive then the Quranic treatment of it lay in the Ayah-31 of Surah Nisa that goes: If you remain away from great sins from which you have been asked to keep away then We will also forgive your sins and enter you at a place of honour and dignity. He said the Farman-e-Ilahi (divine saying) makes it clear that we should commit from a true heart that we will fulfil all Wajbaat and would keep away from all small and big sins. The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya said it has been said about the Holy Prophet (SAW) that four angels give a call in the morning and in the evening. One of them says had the creature not created! The second says had they known why they had been created? The third says had they followed the commandment that had been given to them; while the fourth says if this creature could not follow the commandments then had it sought forgiveness for its misdeeds (evil-doing, oppression, brutality and terrorism). He said there is a saying of Maula-e-Kainaat Hazrat Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) that considering sin less is the greatest sin. On the occasion of martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Mukhtar Saqafi, he reiterated his resolve not to give up even the small good deeds (Naikian) and would not commit even the smallest sins because in it lay the key of survival from our difficulties and problems. At Jamia tul Momineen , Allama Muhammad Ali Haleemi addressing on the topic of Youm-ul-Huzn said, Ummul Momineen Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) was the most intelligent, intellectual and learned lady of her time who was adorned by honour and dignity thats why she was called Tahira.
While addressing Youm-ul-Huzn Majlis organized by Moazzam Ali Rizvi Advocate at Ali Masjid, Allama Agha Ali Hussain Najfi said Ummul Momineen Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) is that great Mohsina-e-Islam on whose blessings even Quran stands witness. This pious lady has the honour of being the first certifier of holy Prophet (SAW) and she showered all her wealth in the feet of her dearest personality i.e. Holy Prophet (SAW) for promotion of Islam, this way Allah termed her help and support as His help. He said her wealth spread from east to west that had been reserved for upholding Kalma-e-Haq. The Hazrat Khadija (S.A.)s home thus became the shelter not only for the Holy Prophet (SAW) but also for all Muslims. He paid rich tribute to the efforts of all organizations including TNFJ Relief committee, all countries, schools of thought, institutions and especially Pakistan Army who are active for relief of tremor-affected. Allama Sheikh Ejaz Hussain Mudarris, addressing Majlis Youm-ul-Huzn said life and character of Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) is beacon of light for womenfolk and oppressed world. Addressing Youm-ul-Huzn Conference organized by Anjuman Faiz-e-Punjtan at Zainul Abideen Hall, Central Secretary Information TNFJ Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi said Mohsina-e-Islam Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) was the protector and defender of the message of Risalat in the initial tough and most difficult period of Islam. He said the Holy Prophet (SAW) had termed the year of her death as Aam-ul-Huzn (the Year of Grief). She sacrificed all her wealth for promotion of Islam and she was the first to recognize the Prophethood of the Rasool-e-Khuda (SAW) rather her sacrifice, steadfastness and love for Islam is the example to be followed by Muslim women at large. He said the seerat of Khadija (S.A.) is the beacon of light for womenfolk in every era. Allama Basharat Hussain Imami addressed a Majlis Youm-ul-Huzn that was organized by TNFJ Divisional Youm ul Huzn Committee Islamabad. Allama Sadqi while addressing Youm-ul-Huzn Majlis organized by Anjuman Jafariya at Masjid and Imambargah Jafariya I/9 Islamabad said Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) supported Islam in the most difficult era. Avoiding to remember the day of this great lady (S.A.) who spent all she had on Islam is tantamount to enmity with Islam. There would have been no concept of Victory of Makkah had there been no financial support of Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) and the manpower support by Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.). A resolution adopted on the occasion strongly condemned electronic and print media for ignoring the Youm-ul-Huzn. The resolution called upon the Muslim States to take practical steps for restoring the dignity of holy shrine of Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) in Jannatul Mualla because today the spread of Islam in the whole world owes to this great lady (S.A.). The gathering resolved to offer any sacrifice demanded from them by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi for the mission of Wila and for promotion and protection of Aza. Another resolution while expressing grief over the heavy loss and destruction caused by the 8 October earthquake, prayed for the martyrs who lost their lives in Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas, early recovery of injured and immediate restoration of affected. It urged the government to complete burial of bodies first of all. While hailing the practical show of awake-ness and sacrifice of Pakistani Nation over this tragedy, the resolution appealed everyone to provide relief to the earthquake-affected with open heart.
RAWALPINDI, October 14: Syed Shujaat Ali Bokhari, Additional Secretary of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan has called upon the government to make special security measures on emergency basis in the areas affected by earthquake as a foremost priority and take over the control of distribution of food and relief items to the affected so that the relief is reached to the deserving people safe and sound. He stated this while addressing the meeting of TNFJ Relief Committee for Quake-hit in which relief efforts of the Committee were reviewed. Shujaat Bokhari said it would be better if the Tentage Villages would be set up near to the affected areas instead of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. He said first of all immediate action should be taken regarding making the coffins ready and bury those who lost their life and while burying the bodies, the places should be marked so that their relatives and near and dear ones could recognise them. He called upon the media to avoid negative comments and criticism for the sake of criticism, and patients should stay away from seeing the heart-rending scenes on the electronic media. A generation has been destroyed in the grave disaster on October 8 and it would take a quarter century for the new generation to grow up. The TNFJ Additional Secretary General, Shujaat Bokhari welcoming the address to the nation delivered by President Gen. Pervez Musharraf on Wednesday night said it seems that the President is aware of the woes of the affected and he has given the proof of elderliness by excusing for delay in the relief operation. He said TNFJ would continue full cooperation in providing relief to the earthquake affected. Syed Hassan Raza Bokhari, Convener of the TNFJ Relief Committee for Quake-hit, told the participants of the meeting that relief goods are being sent to the affected areas by the Relief Committee on the special directive of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. He said the vehicles carrying relief goods to face threat on way to the affected areas and the transporters feel threatened because they are being looted on their way for which the government should take some immediate measures. He said philanthropists, religious, social and welfare organisations were depositing huge funds in the Presidents Relief Fund on the appeal of TNFJ Relief Committee while relief goods that include food items, living needs, tents, clothes are being delivered to the affected areas directly. RAWALPINDI, October 13: Central Convener of TNFJ Relief Committee for Quake-hit Hassan Raza Bokhari said different teams headed by Abrar Kazmi brother of martyr Zulfiqar Ali Kazmi, Malik Muhammad Aslam, Maulana Liaquat Hussain Shirazi and Syed Amjad Hussain have been despatched to Bagh, Muzaffarabad, Balakot, and other affected areas along with the relief goods collected by the Committee. He made his remarks while addressing a meeting of the Committee on Wednesday, held under his presidentship to review the practical steps taken to help the affected. He told the participants that mostly tents, beddings, and food is being sought for the affected areas. Bokhari appealed the elite, religious and Matmi organisations and other citizens to deposit their donations to the Presidents Relief Fund themselves or deliver the relief goods to mosques, Imambargahs and the office of the TNFJ Relief Committee. RAWALPINDI, October 12: An important meeting of TNFJ Relief Committee for Quake-hit was held here on Tuesday. Syed Shujaat Ali Bokhari, Additional Secretary General of the Tehreek presided over the meeting that reviewed relief efforts for the affected of earthquake. Syed Hassan Raza Bokhari, Convener of the Relief Committee told the meeting that relief goods donated by TNFJs Public Affairs Department, elite, Matmi and social organisations is being dispatched to the affected areas. He made a fervent appeal to the people to deposit their relief goods at nearby mosques and Imambargahs or directly in the office of TNFJ Relief Committee. Shujaat Bokhari, Additional Secretary General of the Tehreek, in his address on the occasion said the mass destruction as a result of earthquake is a great national tragedy and in this hour of need it is obligatory for every Pakistani citizen to donate for his or her brethren without any discrimination on the basis of Maktab and Maslak. He said Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi while terming the all quake-hit a part of his body has appealed not to keep any stone unturned for the restoration of the affected and sharing their grief. He said it is the time for a test and all countrymen should take part in the relief work extensively. He said the situation in the affected areas is tragic owing to disturbed communication system while medical experts fear spread of different diseases. Although this human tragedy came all of a sudden and thousands of human lives perished within a few seconds but delay in the relief operation and mismanagement is tragic and no government organisation could go scot-free only by saying that what could they do to stop mass destruction at such a large scale. He said many high level government figures including President Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz have visited the affected areas and instructions to carry out relief operation have been issued to civil organisations and the Pakistan Army but national and foreign media is quoting different affected people that relief teams did not reach them as a result of which people are trapped in the debris, particularly teachers and innocent students were kissing the death one by one. Shujaat Bokhari lamented that the debris of Margalla Tower in Islamabad was still a particular target of the international western media. General public has taken extensive part for restoration of the quake-hit and displayed human friendly spirit whereas government organisations still remained undecided that proof of which is that they could neither identify many affected areas yet nor could gauge the loss of life and kind. He said international community could not have been told yet that what type of help Pakistan requires because neither the government organisations have any certified figures nor there are any sources or arrangements for despatching relief teams to the affected areas. He said no one should reap political benefits from this tragedy but the government organisations should also accept their slackness in fulfilling their duty and accelerate their efforts in dealing with the great human tragedy so as to provide some relief to the affected. The participants of the TNFJ Relief Committee meeting offered Fateha for those who kissed martyrdom in this tragic disaster including Coordination Secretary TNFJ Azad Kashmir Syed Zulfiqar Kazmi, grandsons of TNFJ Supreme Council member Kh. Basharat Ali Jafri, Abrar Hussain Bandey brother of TNFJ District Bagh leader Mushtaq Hussain Bandey, and wife of MSO Nigran Council member Irfan Ali Jafri. They prayed for the departed souls to rest in eternal peace, expressed complete sympathy with the bereaved families and prayed for the early recovery of the injured and restoration of the affected. RAWALPINDI – October 11: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya has announced to observe Ayyam-e-Tarheem from 5 to 9 Ramazan for raising the status of countrymen who were died and martyred in the 8th October earthquake. In a statement issued here on Monday, he said all affected in the earthquake are part of our body and the martyrs are the part of our heart, and we equally share the grief of the affected and the bereaved families. He appealed all schools of thought to organise Fateha Khwani, Quran Khwani, and Majalis-e-Taraheem for raising the status of all martyrs and pray to give patience and forbearance to the bereaved families, early recovery of the injured, restoration of the affected, compensation of the loss, protection from such havocs and for the stability of the Islamic World. Agha Moosavi said the humanity had been facing one problem or the other right from the beginning and this process would continue till the universe exists and it has been mentioned in Quran and Ahadees regularly. Therefore, he said, Surah Al-Nazeaat says: The day shaking earthquakes and behind it another big earthquake comes, many hearts throb and their eyes become afraid (Parah-30). He said it would be the D-day when the system of the earth from within would get upset, that day neither the father would care about the son nor the son about his father. He said Dua and Munajaat are the only source to get these havocs stopped, therefore there is a saying of the Masoom (A.S.) that goes: No doubt, Dua rejects indecent incidents and unforeseen havocs. He said the representatives of Allah always recited Duas and besides preaching the same as Duas and Munajaat consist of solid realities of the religion that could become best training Maktab and example for the men in faith. The TNFJ chief said pray and keeping attached with Allah creates a spirit in the heart of the human being and he gains the way how to recognise his duties and follow the teachings of religion and Shariat and by doing so he becomes near to Allah and keeps himself away from evil, destruction, cyclones and earthquakes. He said today had the human being attached himself with Allah and kept himself away from the evil then there would have been no destruction. Those who follow in the footsteps of Pharaoh and Nimroud should recall what sins they have committed that led to such a big destruction for the whole humanity. Similarly, he said in Dua-e-Kumail, it has been said: Oh, Allah! Oh, my Lord! You had been giving me commandment but I followed the self-desire and did not protect myself from the jugglery of my enemy i.e. Satan, considered sins and lapses beautiful, he dodged me through these desires and the Qaza-i-Asmaani also helped him owing to which I used to violate some of Your commandments and committed accesses from my limits and I have diverted myself from some of Your commandments. The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Hamid Moosavi said we have to review our self because this gory earthquake provides us a best chance for self-accountability, therefore, we should divert to Allah immediately and take refuge in Duas because Munajaat and Duas are most liked practices before Allah that are presented before Allah. Oh, Allah! Cover up my mistakes and evils and forgive me by showering Your blessings. He said it is the ripe time to seek forgiveness of our sins and mistakes because He is the one Who is Merciful and Most Beneficent.
RAWALPINDI, 09 October: Syed Mazhar Ali Shah Advocate, Secretary-General of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan expressing his deep grief and shock over large-scale destruction as a result of deadly quake has urged foreign and local Philanthropist individuals and organizations to help victims of the tremor with open heart on the appeal of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi and in this regard deposit more and more funds in Presidential Relief Fund. Addressing an emergent meeting at the Tehreek’s headquarters on Sunday, Mazhar Ali Shah said shocking destruction by sudden calamity of tremor is a great tragedy for the whole nation and heart-breaking catastrophe in Pakistan’s history upon which whole nation is shedding tears. Therefore, we are under obligation in this hour of difficulty to repent for our sins and pray in the respected court of Allah with due veneration for removal of this catastrophe and trial. He said though the government has begun aid work in the affected areas immediately but there is need to speed up it. Besides the government, people and non governmental organizations should also participate in this task as in this way restoration of affected people of the quake could be made possible in little time. The TNFJ Secretary-General said a common human being has no power to stop sudden heavenly calamities. For this purpose, only weapon of prayer could be used. He fervently appealed to the whole nation to seek mercy from the most compassionate Allah besides repentance and seeking forgiveness during the blessed hours of Ramazan. Shah while strongly condemning terrorism on October 8 in Ahmedia Jamat’s place of worship in Mong, Mandi Bahauddin, has said all minorities enjoy equal rights in the country being Pakistani citizens, therefore murder of anyone is in fact murder of Pakistan. He demanded from the government to punish culprits of Mong incident after arresting them immediately.
RAWALPINDI, October 08: Chief of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi expressing grave shock on sudden destruction caused by earth quake in different parts of the country including federal capital Islamabad has appealed to the whole nation to seek forgiveness and recite Surah Zilzal in 30th part of holy Quran in plenty with due fervour in this hour of difficulty. He was addressing Mehfil-e-Anwar on Saturday. He said Amer Bil Maroof and Nahi Anel Munker (enjoining good and forbidding evil) has been termed the most important branch of religion. Giving up this great obligatory deed may cause host of problems, social disorder and calamities. He said once Holy Prophet (SAW) said: What a time that would be, when men and women will begin doing evils and Amer Bil Maroof and Nahi Anel Munker will be given up. He was asked: O the Prophet of Allah! Really would that time come? He replied: Yes, rather that time will also come when you will enjoin evil and forbid good. He was again asked: Maula! Would that time come? He replied: worst than this. You will see good with evil eye and consider bad as good. Moosavi said human beings have always been facing floods, storms, earth quakes, nishaniyaat and ayaat, and all this happen to warn them. He said Quran explains everything. Translation of its 99th Surah Zilzal goes: When the earth is shaken as, its shaking is appointed. And the earth throws out its burden. And a human being says, ‘what happened to her’? That day it shall narrate its news that your Lord has sent command to her. On that day people will return towards their Lord in groups, so that they may be shown their deeds. Then whosoever has done good of an weight of an atom shall see it. And whosoever has done evil of an weight of an atom shall see it. The TNFJ chief quoted a saying of Hazrat Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S.) that do not show laziness in reciting Surah Zilzal because he who recites this surah in nawafil, he will never be ruined by quakes, lightening and every kind of calamities, and when he will be ordered to enter heaven, Allah will say to him at that time: I have made heaven lawful for you, you may live wherever you want and demand what you desire. He said there are movements for the earth and to-date about 15 of its movements have come to known. By mentioning this deadly quake, attention of human being has been called to the Day of Judgment, and counting of deeds on that Day. That quake will be such that the earth will go up and down, it will spit out everything. Before the doomsday quake, such quake will jolt the earth which has been mentioned in Surah Hajj when everything will go annihilated wa yabqa wajhu rabbika Zol Jalali wal Ikram. After this, another quake will come to cause the Last Day. By this tremor, even the human dead bodies will come out of the graves in groups and their links with souls will be re-established. When the quake to cause Judgment, counting of deeds and resurrection will happen, the earth will fork everything out of it, even the human beings. At that time a Chosen Personality will say addressing to the earth: What happened to you? And the earth will tell him all news. The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Hamid Moosavi said that when a most powerful quake jolted the earth in the reign of first caliphate, the caliph of Muslims accompanied by a big crowd came at the door of Hazrat Ali (A.S.). He (A.S.) reached at a hill top along with them all. Every nook and corner of Medina was jolting, people were afraid. The caliph said: O Ali! We are much afraid; we havent seen such a quake. Therefore, Hazrat Ali (A.S.) moved his lips and said while striking his hand on the earth: O earth! Stop. On this, the people expressed their surprise. Maula Ali (A.S.) said: You were surprised on my this deed, while Quran says: Wa Qaal Al-Insano Ma Laha (And a human being says, ‘what happened to her’?). Im that very human being. Tamim ibn-e-Hatim says we were along with Hazrat Ali (A.S.) while going to Basra. While travelling we stayed at a place and quake jolted the earth. Gate of City of Prophet (SAW), Ali (A.S.), struck his hand on earth and said: What happened to you? At this, the quake stopped at once. Then he said to us: the quake which Allah has mentioned in the Book of Allah, if this would be that quake, the earth will surely answer me. Therefore, it is not that very quake. Moosavi said this is crystal clear that deeds and doings of all residents of earth are being saved in Sahifa-e-Baatni, rather in the Kitab-e-Arzi. Therefore, Holy Prophet (SAW) says: fear earth because it is your base. Verily he who does good or evil over it, it will give its news. On one occasion, Holy Prophet (SAW) said to Sahaba (R.A.): Do you know what are the news of earth? The Sahaba (R.A.) expressed their ignorance. Then he (SAW) said: The news of earth are that it will bear witness about every man and woman that who did what at what time on its back? It will tell everything by the divine command. He said difficulties come to Prophets, Messengers, Aulia and Saliheen for height of their ranks, but difficulties, diseases, calamities and quakes to common human beings on one hand are expiation for their sins while on the other Allah call attention of all to Himself because God has to take account of the game of oppression and barbarism being played in the world at present. Moosavi urged all rulers particularly heads of Muslim States to link them with Allah by getting rid of colonial powers as in it lay deliverance of humanity and height and dignity of human values. He fervently appealed to all compatriots to evade sudden calamity of quake in the motherland Pakistan by repenting with true heart on this hour of hardship, offer namaz-e-Ayaat, promise themselves wouldnt fail in performing rights of Allah and rights of His servants and would keep in view respect of whole humanity as therein is hidden our deliverance and success.
