RAWALPINDI, October 07: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, has said that Ramazan-ul-Mubarik is the holy month of blessings, forgiveness and revelation of Quran that preaches us the practical lesson of character-building, exercise of the self, violation of self-desires, being fast in faith and strong belief, while fast persuades human being for patience and forbearance and avoidance from evil deeds. He said this month is called Ramazan because it sets sins on fire. There is a saying of the Khatmi Martabat (SAW) that the month of Allah approaches you with the message of blessings and forgiveness and that is superior than all other months, its days are superior than all days, and its nights are better than all other nights. Agha Moosavi said we could transform our lives, religiously and otherwise, in line with the commandments of Allah by taking advantage of the blessings and supremacy of the month of fasting. Foundation of the most favourite religion Islam is based on Tauheed, Risalat, Adalat, Imamat and Maad and the name of its second Faro is fast (Roza). He said worship has been considered the objective of creation of the human being and doing the same is binding on every adult and wise person. The month chosen for carrying out this worship (fasting) is called the month of Allah. The philosophy of the fast is that when the philanthropists feel the brunt of hunger and thirst after fasting then a desire to help the poor and have-nots crop up in their hearts. The TNFJ chief said what is going on throughout the world, particularly in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kashmir and Palestine provides food for thought to the whole Islamic World. He expressed his shock and grief that on one hand treasuries throughout the world are kept open for the affected of Katrina and Rita in America but, he added, the same spirit should be kept for the oppressed but what is happening on the other is that no one takes care of the drought-stricken areas and the woes of the Muslims and oppressed nations. The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Hamid Moosavi said even taking breath in the month of fasting is a blessing; therefore, it is binding on us all not to forget the oppressed world at least at the time of Sehr and Iftar. He said during the pious days of the month of fasting, we would have to commit with the core of our heart that we would not lack in fulfilling our duties and would give priority to the whole humanity and the oppressed world over our self.
RAWALPINDI, October 06: Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi, Central Secretary Information of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya has said that Ramazan-ul-Mubarik is great and blessed month and a symbol of blessing, love, forgiveness and real success. He stated this while addressing a special function organised at Zain-ul Abideen (A.S.) Academy under the auspices of Majlis Farogh-e-Hussainiyyat Pakistan on the topic of Fazail-e-Ramazan. He said Rajab is the month of Wali-Ullah, Shaaban is commensurate with Rasool-Ullah while Ramazan is the month of Allah that leads all the months. Quran-e-Samit was sent during this holy month while Quran-e-Natiq kissed martyrdom in this month also. He said as per saying of Poet of the East, birth in Kaaba and martyrdom in the mosque; Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) and none else have enjoyed this singular honour. Zaidi said the oppressive kings the world over should keep in their mind that Allah rules the universe Who tests the worldly people sometimes by giving them power and sometimes by snatching power. The history stands witness that Allah had drowned Pharaoh who claimed to be god and his body still tells the tale of this episode. Similarly, He defeated the Abraha forces through Ababeels (little birds). The whole world stands witness that the so-called Super Power could not bear the brunt of Katrina that came on the order of Real Super Power the Allah – on the banks of Texas. Therefore, he said, those who belief in one God have no need to fear from Taghoot that could not protect herself. The basic reason of Muslim problems and difficulties is weaker faith despite the fact that they have been termed the best Ummat. He said Allah desires supremacy of religion through Muslims. He said Ramazan is the month in which commandments of Allah were sent, it is the month in which battle of Badr was held in which 313 Muslims dominated over their enemy. He made it clear that Pakistan came into being in the name of Islam in Ramazan-ul-Mubarik, therefore, to make it a welfare State in true sense, there is need to fulfil the rights of all Makatib on the basis of equality. He said Congress agents who are the perpetual enemy of the Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and the Pakistan Ideology are the hurdle in fulfilment of objective of creation of Pakistan and now they are posing themselves as the champions of Islam and Pakistan. These elements have given nothing to the nation and the country but biases, terrorism, problems and difficulties, therefore, he added, it is obligatory for the whole nation including the rulers and the politicians to express their hatred against these extremist, violent, self-interest banned elements so as to enjoy the fruits of the month of fasting fully. Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi said that as earlier announced by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, the death anniversary of Ummul Momineen Mohsina-e-Islam Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) will be observed at the end of first Ashra of Ramazan i.e. 10th Ramazan as Youm-ul Huzn throughout the country with religious and national spirit. He demanded from the government to make security arrangements for all programmes to be held during the month of Ramazan including Youm-ul Huzn while people should themselves remain alert and keep a strict eye on miscreants.
ISLAMABAD, October 03: Additional Secretary General of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Syed Shujaat Ali Bokhari has said government should make special security arrangements during Ramazan-ul-Mubarik while people should also remain alert and keep an eye on miscreants. Talking to elite in Islamabad on Tuesday, he said Ramazan-ul-Mubarik is the month of seeking forgiveness of sins in which Allah sent Holy Quran that is the source of guidance for the whole humanity. In this era of anarchy and terrorism, problems and difficulties could be overcome and restoration of peace could be ensured by following the teachings of Quran and the seerat of pious Hadis. Bokhari said effective implementation of Anti-Terrorism Act was necessary to root out terrorism because the banned groups have started working with new names and they are seen sitting besides the government and the opposition at different fora while the nation is suffering the brunt of giving them an open hand in the shape of terrorism. He demanded to set up a high level broad-based Tribunal to enquire all incidents including the Quetta, Lahore and Bari Imam incidents. The elite from Islamabad assured Bokhari on this occasion that like other cities of the country, all programmes of the month of Ramazan announced by the TNFJ will be organised with devotion and respect in the Federal Capital Islamabad also.
GUJRANWALA, October 01: Allama Tajuddin Haideri, Central Vice-President of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan has said that firing on their vehicle on September 22 was a conspiracy to kill him, therefore, the government should arrest the culprits immediately and give them exemplary punishment. He stated this while addressing a crowded Press conference here at a local hotel. Tehreeks Provincial President Allama Syed Abu Jafar Naqvi, Chairman TNFJ Political Cell Dr. Iqbal Javed Haideri, Allama Zaid-ul-Hassan Zaidi, Maulana Azhar Haideri and other leaders were also present on the occasion. Allama Haideri narrating the detail of the life attempt on him said, he was coming back to his home in Gujranwala after addressing a Majlis in Multan that Thursday. When his vehicle reached at a distance from Saddar Police Station Gujranwala around 3.00 a.m. it slowed down owing to bad condition of the road. In the meanwhile, a Potohar Jeep in white colour that was following them for quite sometime came near them and the 3-4 terrorists riding that vehicle came down from the jeep and started firing on their vehicle and thrown a burst on him but he escaped miraculously as he laid down on the seat. However, his right hand was severely injured by the firing. He was rushed to the Civil Hospital where doctors provided him immediate treatment in the operation theatre.
Strictly denying the contents of the FIR registered by police in which the firing incident was mentioned as dacoity, he said, he had made it clear on the police officer of the police station concerned in the hospital that the attackers had come to take his life. He said they tried to kill him through firing instead of looting us. He said firing on him had taken place before also during the journey and even at his residence despite the fact that he has no personal enmity with anyone. He said he is born citizen of Gujranwala and everyone knows his religious and political services. Answering a question he said, he is giving this statement first time after the murder attempt. He lamented that neither high officials took care of him nor the lower level Administration issued any instructions for taking action against terrorists. Answering another question he said it is the job of police to investigate about the terrorists. He, however, believed that the attackers were the same people who had attacked President Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz. Now the point of view of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi is being accepted that a terrorist keeps no religion, faith or a country, he is only a terrorist and should be dealt with only in that context. He demanded from President Pervez Musharraf that the culprits of all incidents of terrorism including that of Bari Imam Incident should be arrested and given exemplary punishment. Answering a question about the government crackdown against terrorists, he said some unseen forces were busy in thwarting the Anti-Terrorism Ordinance issued by President Pervez Musharraf the proof of which is that no big banned leader was arrested throughout the country rather some innocent persons and peaceful poor citizens and labours have been put into jails as an mere eyewash. Responding a question about TNFJ efforts for restoration of law and order, Allama Haideri said that he had himself presented a 850-page Moosavi Peace Formula in the court of Chief Justice Sajjad Ali Shah, the then Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Pakistan in which reasons and solutions of terrorism were mentioned and the President had issued the Anti-Terrorism Ordinance keeping those proposals in view. When asked if the government did not take any action against the culprits of murder attempt then what would be his next line of action, Allama Haideri said, he belongs to representative organisation of the Maktab-e-Tashayyo i.e. Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan that has left the decision about the incident like Bari Imam to God owing to cold attitude of the government. He reiterated that we could not be stopped from our pious mission of Wila and Aza through cowardice tactics like murder attempts, terrorism, murder and arson. Our foremost priority is Islam, Pakistan and its people. Allama Haideri expressed the hope that the government would take a serious notice of murder attempt on him, would arrest and unveil the culprits and would give them an exemplary punishment. Otherwise, he added, we reserve our right to adopt a legal course.
ISLAMABAD, September 29: Dr. Iqbal Javed Haideri, Chairman TNFJ Political Cell has said that resolution of International Atomic Energy Agency against Iran is the punishment of vulnerability. He stated this while addressing an important meeting of office-bearers in which local body elections were reviewed and the election policy of the TNFJ Political Cell throughout the country was considered a success. He said we have never considered politics an untouchable tree, however, always given priority and importance to religion and Shariat considering politics subservient to religion. He said our targets are crystal clear under which we are busy in practical struggle for Pakistan Ideology and protection and dignity of its people. He said we say that we do, and we have never made tall claims because the outer and inner soul of the Momin is the same rather inner soul is brighter than the outer one. He said we keep the ideology supreme than any other thing because motherland Pakistan came into being because of defence and protection of the ideology that is why it is more dear to us. He said our ideology is mole in the eyes of the whole world, therefore our combined enemy is using all its power and tactics to divert us from the ideology soon after the creation of Pakistan. He said Quaid-i-Azam had declared Kashmir a jugular vein of Pakistan, Palestine was considered an issue of the whole Islamic World and Muslims were recognized as one Ummah just on the basis of ideology. He said our heart beat fastens whenever and wherever oppressed Muslims are made target of oppression and terrorism. He said oppressed people of Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan and Iraq are being punished just being Muslims. The TNFJ Political Cell Chairman Dr. Iqbal Javed Haideri said, the attitude of those States who did not condemn IAEA resolution against Iran and kept silence is also uncalled for. He said Iran should also ponder over that Pakistan is not only its brotherly country rather heart-to-heart friend but why Iranian governments before Ahmed Nazads government gave priority to India over Pakistan. He said Iran should take a decision even now because Pakistan is her biggest friend in the world and if we have to protect ourselves from the International Taghoot then we would have to understand one anothers woes and consider oppression and brutality against any Muslim State as an oppression against the whole Islamic World. He said International Taghoot is that huge reptile that would not hesitate from biting despite being fed properly.
RAWALPINDI, September 28: The high level meeting of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya held under the presidentship of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi ended late last night after adopting different resolutions on important national and international matters. According to Central Spokesman of the Tehreek, Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi, the participants while strongly condemning the foreign interference in Iraq and Afghanistan and State terrorism in Kashmir and Palestine called upon the United Nations to get this episode stopped and take steps to restore peace in those States where Super Powers were staying in control, for which there is an urgent need of immediate pullout of foreign forces. The resolution said excuse for the presence of allied forces is being made there by patronizing terrorism in the oppressed Muslim States which is not fair but everyone should keep in mind that dream of restoring peace could not come true unless foreign interference is stopped. The resolution while demanding implementation of United Nations Resolutions about Kashmir and Palestine said developing any sort of relations with Israel or recognizing it without annexation of Al-Quds Al-Sharif would be commensurate with treachery against the blood of martyrs of Palestine. Another resolution condemning the resolution of International Atomic Energy Agency against Iran has said that if Muslims did not wake up from deep slumber even now, did not form a joint platform against the anti-Islam forces and did not take courageous steps then Israel would come into fore as Izraeel for all Muslim States.
Another resolution termed the India-America defence pact and improvement of ties as a policy to chain China and called upon the Government of Pakistan to exercise wisdom and seriousness and raise a voice of concern against this pact while Muslim States should give priority to improving relations with each other. Another resolution called upon the powers that be in Pakistan to come out of the shells of personal and party interest, give up duplicity in their words and deeds, give priority to the collective interest of the nation and the country over all other matters, all recognized schools of thought should be given their rights on the basis of equality, May 21, 1985 Junejo-Moosavi agreement for solution of problems confronted by the Maktab-e-Tashayyo should be implemented and they should be given effective ideological representation in all State departments including the media. The resolution also demanded effective implementation of the Anti-Terrorism Act and immediate arrest of the innocent citizens arrested during the recent crackdown. The resolution expressed grave concern that the lower echelon of the Government administration has arrested peaceful religious leaders, poor labourers and hawkers but all banned leaders were roaming about freely. The resolution demanded improvement in law and order situation during Ramazan-ul-Mubarik and also advised the people to remain alert themselves and keep an eye on miscreants. While strongly condemning the murder attempt on Central Vice-President of the TNFJ, Allama Tajuddin Haideri, on September 22 in Gujranwala, another resolution demanded immediate arrest and exemplary punishment for the culprits. Another resolution demanded that facilities should be extended to Zaireen (pilgrims) who go for Ziarat of holy places by the countries concerned because some States have imposed tough conditions viz. issuance of visa, medical certificate etc. and charge heavy fee despite the fact that Zaireen visit these States seeking good health and for fulfilment of their just desires. The resolution declaring the Governments Hajj Policy faulty for the Maktab-e-Tashayyo demanded that norms of justice and fair-play should be fulfilled for all schools of thought. Another resolution demanded arrest and exemplary punishment for the assassins of martyrs of Bari Imam, Masjid Madina-tul-Ilm Karachi incidents and Shaheed Maulana Wazir Ali Khatian Larkana, Shaheed Ijaz Hussain Jafri, and Shaheed Ayaz Ali Bangash of Quetta. The resolution demanded setting up of a broad-based Tribunal to probe all incidents of terrorism including the Bari Imam incident. Some decisions were also made during the meeting, according to which Youm-ul-Huzn in connection with the death anniversary of Ummul Momineen Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) will be observed on 10th Ramazan-ul-Mubarik, Youm-e-Aman on 15th Ramazan-ul-Mubarik to mark the Wiladat Ba Saadat of Shahzada Sulah-o-Aman Hazrat Imam Hassan Mujtaba (A.S.), Ayyam-e-Aza on 19-21 Ramazan-ul-Mubarik in connection with the martyrdom anniversary of Amirul Momineen Hazrat Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S.), Jashan Nazool-e-Quran on 23rd Ramazan-ul-Mubarik, Youm-ul-Quds Himayat-e-Mazloomin on Juma-tul-Wida, and Youm-e-Inhidaam Jannatul Baqee on 8th Shawal-ul-Mukarram. Allama Basharat Hussain Imami, Syed Bin Moosa Kazmi, Dr. Iqbal Javed Haideri, Allama Zahid Abbas Kazmi, Meesam Tammar, and Alhaj Ghulam Murtaza Chauhan have been nominated conveners for these programmes, respectively. The participants of the meeting demanded from the government to present special programmes during all these holy days on the electronic and print media and Maktab-e-Tashayyo should be given a chance to present their point of view on the electronic media during the month of Ramazan setting aside the monopoly of particular Maktab and Maslak.
RAWALPINDI, September 27: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has asked the government to arrest the culprits of worst incident of terrorism in Bari Imam forthwith, unveil them and give them exemplary punishment so as to restore her lost credibility otherwise all responsibility would lay on powers that be. This was stated by him while delivering his Presidential address at a high level meeting of the Tehreek here on Monday. Central office-bearers and provincial delegates attended the meeting. He said we have grown up in incidents, therefore, we cannot be threatened or stopped from our mission by blasts, terrorism, and cowardice tactics like murder and arson. We take Ghusl-e-Shahadat (bath for martyrdom) daily and we never bow down before anyone but Allah and Masoomin (infallibles). He said we would never retreat from our mission even if lakhs (hundreds of thousands) of incidents take place. Agha Moosavi said like Azadari is our jugular vein, similarly martyrdom is our inheritance and every man of honour protects his heritage. He reiterated his commitment not to let any one cause any harm to our pious mission of Wila and Aza. He made it clear that Sunnis and Shias are brethren and no power on earth could cause any differences or separate them from each other because we are one, our God, Prophet, Quran and Kaaba is one and the whole nation is against those who preach hatred.
He called upon the government to fulfil the norms of justice and fair-play in all incidents including the Bari Imam incident and give exemplary punishment to the culprits. Bari Imam incident was an open act of terrorism and today everyone is repeating our point of view regarding terrorists that a terrorist keeps no religion, faith or a country, and it is the job of the government to find out the culprits and give them exemplary punishment. He said the government was doing nothing to curb terrorism rather the opposition is also mixing her voice with the government the proof of which is that groups that have been declared terrorists could be seen in the government as well as the opposition fora alike as a result of which problems of the people were increasing manifold. He said like other Makatib, the Maktab-e-Tashayyo is also deprived of their basic rights. He reiterated his resolve not to let motherland, achieved in the name of Islam, become a sectarian State. The TNFJ chief said Palestine and Kashmir top the list of international issues pending solution and Palestine issue is the issue of the whole humanity. Recognizing Israel before achieving Al-Quds Al-Sharif and independence of Palestine is commensurate with causing harm to the cause of Palestine because Israel is Izraeel not only for Arabs but also for the whole Islamic World. He said those Muslim leaders who opposed Israel were murdered one by one. The powers that be in Pakistan should take everyone into confidence on foreign affairs and it is necessary to avoid any accusation, we are not afraid of anyone because we are an atomic power. He said the personality that provided atomic power to Pakistan had blessed the whole Islamic World as a result of which Israel being afraid of Pakistan is crying hoarse of improving relations with her. He said neither peace could be restored in Palestine or Kashmir nor relations could be improved unless their problems are resolved in line with the United Nations Resolutions keeping to the desire of their respective people. The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Hamid Moosavi terming the United Nations Agency IAEA resolution against Irans atomic programme a slap in the face of the OIC said every State has the right to protect herself but because the strings of Muslim rulers are in the hands of Super Powers therefore they are unable to display courage. He asked that why such type of resolution was not adopted against Israel? He said the Iranian government should ponder over that why she has given priority to India over Pakistan and why they improved friendly relations with her because there is difference in the governments of Pakistan and Iran. There is peoples government here while in Iran, ulema are ruling the country and a huge responsibility lay on them. He said the Iranian officials should ponder themselves what to do. As far as the people are concerned, he said it is crystal clear that hearts of people of Pakistan and Iran beat together. He said the Iranian government should consider who supported them in difficult moments. He lamented that the Iranian government had diverted from the line given by Khomeini and their dual standards are lamentable. He said we support the oppressed and express hatred against the oppressors. Dividing the Muslim States is the old weapon of the evil forces, therefore, Muslims should come out of their shackle. Even the enemies wept on Baghdad incident but Arab League neither expressed condolences nor condemned this incident. Agha Moosavi made it clear in unequivocal terms that there is no sectarianism or Maktabi conflict in any part of the world including Iraq and it is binding on leaders of all Makatib and the rulers to come out from deep slumber otherwise it could be their turn tomorrow. He said the religious Madaris (schools) are the citadels of Islam that disseminate the message of peace rather religious powers should prove themselves peace-loving from their deeds so that the accusations against them are reversed. He said Pakistan was created under the Islamic ideology and it is the abode of Islam, Pakistan would have to be saved so as to save Islam. If we would give importance to Pakistan it would increase the importance of ideology and for this purpose, rights of all schools of thought including the Maktab-e-Tashayyo should be given on the basis of equality. He said the people are not concerned whether there is Presidential or Parliamentary system in the country, they only desire solution to their problems.
