Severest difficulties and sufferings of imprisonment could not push him back from the path of truth, and big-to-big despot could not stop his message of truth.

TNFJ Central Secretary Information Syed Qamar Zaidi addressed a Mehfil-e-Imam Naqi (A.S.) at Imambargah Zain-ul-Abideen (A.S.) organized by Anjuman Faiz-e-Panjtan (A.S.).

A resolution adopted unanimously on the occasion paid rich tributes to Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Syed Hamid Moosavi for announcing to observe the days of holy personalities duly. The gathering resolved to present every kind of sacrifice for the Mission of Wila and Azaa on his call.

Delegates from all over the country will attend the meeting in which national and international matters would be reviewed in detail for taking line of action in future besides discussing the oncoming month of Muharram-ul-Haraam.

Eid-ul Azha resolutions urge for govt wisdom, Junejo-Moosavi accord implementation, ideological representation for Maktab-e-Tashayyo, equal status to kutab-e-Arbaa, flay terrorism

RAWALPINDI – January 22: Eid prayer gatherings were held at Jamia Mosques and open places all over the country on the occasion of Eid-ul Azha. Scholars and speakers highlighted the historic occasion of presenting the sacrifice of Hazrat Ismail (A.S.) by Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S.) in way of Allah and the philosophy of sacrifice.

They stressed the need of promoting the pious feelings of sacrifice, brotherhood and tolerance for solution to problems confronted by the humanity. Various resolutions were adopted on the occasion regarding important national and international matters.

Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi, TNFJ’s Central Secretary Information, in a resolution presented to the main gathering of Eid-ul Azha prayers expressed grave concern that the whole world in general, and Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan, and Iraq in particular are confronted with terrorism and that has been increased further after the 9/11 incident.

It said that there is a long standing point of view of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, that evil could not be wiped out with evil but good, and oppression could not be wiped out with oppression but justice. It said that the whole humanity was under the obligation to check terrorism, more responsibility lay particularly on all international institutions including the United Nations in this connection as they were created with the purpose of achieving rights of the oppressed and take practical steps to ensure independence of occupied areas, therefore, they are under the obligation to play their important role to fulfil that obligation, otherwise there is no justification for them to survive.

The resolution said that the representative institutions of the Muslim Ummah and the OIC should wake up from deep slumber and lay a concrete strategy for solution of problems faced by the Islamic World. The resolution made it clear that Founder of Pakistan Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah had declared Kashmir the jugular vein of Pakistan and Pakistan has always given importance to the policy of peace with India but India did not accept it following traditional stance. The resolution said the only solution to Kashmir and Palestine issues lay in implementation of United Nations Resolution.

Another resolution while strongly condemning attack on Hussainia At-Taf in Iraq made it clear that those who carry out such activities are enemies of Islam and humanity and friends of Satan, therefore, all rulers should condemn it.

The Eid-ul Azha congregation expressed grave concern over terrorism confronted to the motherland Pakistan for the last 25 years and President Gen. Pervez Musharraf had taken some good steps to root it out but some unseen powers were intentionally busy in aggravating the situation in Balochistan and other places. Therefore, it said, the government should resolve these problems with wisdom and seriousness as no one commits treachery here rather every Pakistani is sincere and whenever anyone tried to cause any harm to Pakistan they all confronted the enemy like a concrete wall, therefore, dignity and respect of all sections of society living in the country should be taken care of because only then we can thwart the conspiracies of the enemy jointly and turn the country into a hub of peace.

Yet another resolution condemning the Gilgit incident strongly demanded from the government to form a high level Tribunal to probe the incident, arrest the assassins of all martyrs without any discrimination and give them exemplary punishment.

Another resolution demanded immediate implementation of the May 21, 1985 Junejo-Moosavi agreement for solution of long-standing problems faced by the Maktab-e-Tashayyo.

Expressing complete solidarity with the independence movements going on the world over including that of Kashmir and Palestine the resolution, strongly condemned the Hindu and Zionist brutalities and bloodshed of oppressed Muslims in Held Kashmir and Palestine and called upon the United Nations to play its role in getting these brutalities stopped.

Another resolution demanded ideological representation to Maktab-e-Tashayyo in all State departments on the basis of equality and give equal status to fiqhi books including Kutab-e-Arba’a and Nehjul Balagha also in the Education Department because according to 1973 Constitution, official religion of Pakistan is Islam that is commensurate with the Sunni and Shia Makatib, therefore, everyone should be given rights on the basis of equality and rights of no one should be encroached upon as it may create sense of deprivation and inferiority complex in them creating new problems. Therefore, the resolution said, justice should be done to all so as to truly represent the Basic Ideology.

The Eid-ul Azha congregation expressed sympathies with the affected people of Tsunami and appealed the philanthropists to openly donate for them.

Hajj, sacrifice loftiest example of obedience and unity, says QMJ Moosavi in Eid-ul-Azha message

RAWALPINDI – January 20: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya and chief of the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, has said the obligation of Hajj and sacrifice is the highest example of subservience, obedience, unity and brotherhood.

He stated this in a message issued on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. He said in world religions only Islam has the honour of being “deen-e-fitrat” (the religion of nature) which says,

العبد وما له لمولى

The person and his every belonging is for Master.

He said same is the philosophy of Ismail’s sacrifice that religion is dearest of life, wealth, honour, dignity and everything. He said there are 114 Surahs in Holy Quran, and five from amongst the 124 thousand prophets are ‘oolul azm’, some prophets are such in the name of whom there are Quranic Surahs including Surah Ibrahim.

Moosavi said prayer is that great worship that if it is accepted then all deeds are accepted, and if it is not accepted then no deed is accepted but there is no Quranic Surah in the name of prayer and fasting but Surah-e-Hajj is there which indicates its honour and respectability and which gives an idea about the status of Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S.).

That is why, he said, when followers of prophet (SAW) asked the Holy Prophet (SAW) that what is the reality behind sacrifice, he said

سنة أبيكم أبراهيم

It is the Sunnah (practice) of your father Ibrahim.

The TNFJ chief said centralisation and unity enjoy utmost importance in Islam and Hajj is the biggest congregation of world of humanity that is carried out in Makkah Mukarrama in these days and where hundreds of thousands of people gather from east and west, north and south to perform Hajj with an objective to understand the woes of one another.

He said Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S.) preferred to jump into the fire of Ibrahim, give up his motherland and sacrifice his dearest thing i.e. son in way of Allah

قد صدقت الرؤياء

And Allah turned it into

فديناه بذبح عظيم

and Iqbal stated this in this manner that:

“Hussain is its end while Ismail beginning”

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Hamid Moosavi said the whole Islamic World and the oppressed nations should understand the philosophy of sacrifice and give priority to subservience to the Creator and service to the oppressed. He said the oppressed and have-nots of Kashmir, Palestine, Iraq and Tsunami should be remembered on this occasion.

TNFJ announces observation of “Youm-e-Safeer-e-Hussainiyyat”

RAWALPINDI – January 18: Chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya and Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Syed Hamid Moosavi has announced to observe “Youm-e-Safeer-e-Hussainiyyat” (Day of Envoy of Hussainiyat) on Thursday, Zilhij 9 to mark the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel (A.S.).

In a statement issued here on Tuesday, he said the representatives of Allah and brought ups of Ilhaam and Wahi always followed the principle of Amar Bil Ma’aroof and Nahi Anil Munker, and the basis of the Qayam of grandson of holy Prophet (SAW) Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) was also for the same, and the ummah of Khatmi-e-Martabat (SAW) has been called “Best Ummah” for Awamir-o-Nawahi responsibilities.

Agha Moosavi said when the people of Kufa invited Hazrat Hussain bin Ali (A.S.) for accomplishment of the same, he sent his paternal cousin Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel (A.S.) as his ambassador to Kufa, where he fulfilled this ambassadorial job in a manner that is a beacon of light not only for the ambassadorial world rather for the whole mankind.

He fulfilled his responsibility in such a good manner and with due honesty that is crystal clear from this sentence in the ‘Ziarat’ that:

“O, Muslim bin Aqeel blessings of Allah be on you, I stand witness that you established prayer, paid Zakat, gave commandment to do good, and stopped from evil-doing, and waged such a jihad in way of Allah that was commensurate with the demand of jihad, and you were placed on the pedestal of martyrdom by following the path of Mujahideen in way of Allah, to the extent that you met with Allah, and He is pleased with you, I stand witness that you fulfilled the commitment with Allah and kissed martyrdom in support of Proof of Allah and son of Proof of Allah until the death came upon you, I stand witness that you surrendered and showed faithfulness for descendant of the Prophet and chosen light and guide of the world and wasi e muballigh and oppressed martyr. So may Allah give you reward from his messenger and from the commander of believers and from Hassan and Hussain, the best reward for you showed patience and bore and helped.”

Moosavi said these sentences in the ‘Ziarat’ are bright evidence on the honour, dignity and the respect of Hazrat Muslim (A.S.).

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Hamid Moosavi reiterated his resolve on the occasion of Youm-e-Safeer-e-Hussainiyyat that his life and death is only for Hussainiyyat that is commensurate with religion and Shariat and he would utilise all his energies for its promotion and would not allow anyone to cause any harm to it.

Meanwhile, TNFJ Central Committee has been formed to organise the programmes for Youm-e-Safeer-e-Hussainiyyat. Qasim Al-Hussaini has been nominated Convener and Malik-e-Ashtar as Secretary of this Committee.

Addressing a Majlis-e-Aza at Imambargah Qasr-e-Shabbir Dhok Syedan, organized by Zakir Nazir Hussain Jafri, Syed Qamar Zaidi said nations not only respect their heroes rather consider their signs honourable. But in Saudi Arabia which has honour of being the centre of Islamic World and where hundreds of thousands of Farzandan-e-Tauheed from across the globe are gathered for performance of Hajj rituals, there even the signs of holy personalities have been erased. He said Saudi rulers should bear in mind that as Mashaheer-e-Islam are respectable, similarly their graves and shrines are the best source of divine nearness.

A resolution adopted unanimously on this occasion urged brethren country Saudi Arabia that as it is facilitating for hajj and umrah, announced holding of elections, there it by honouring the long-standing desire of Islamic World should take practical steps for reconstruction of Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Moalla cemeteries which are great assets of Islamic nation and from among the signs of Allah, where the graves of Ahle Bait-e-Athar (A.S.), Ummahatul Momineen and Sahaba Kibar are housed.

The resolution forcefully demanded from the government of Pakistan to exert full pressure on the Saudi government for rebuilding of bulldozed holy shrines of Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Moalla under 21 May 1985 Junejo-Moosavi Accord.

Another resolution while expressing solidarity with the oppressed world, people of Kashmir, Palestine and Iraq, stressed upon the international organizations to immediately resolve these issues so that the people of these regions could live in peace.

Mourning programmes of Gilgit martyrs conclude; formation of Committee to probe ATA sabotaging demanded

ISLAMABAD – January 15: Majalis-e-Taraheem, condolence meetings and protest programmes were organised throughout the country at the conclusion of two-day mourning of Gilgit incident martyrs as per announcement of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Syed Hamid Moosavi.

In Federal Capital Islamabad, various religious organisations and institutions organised Majalis-e-Taraheem in which terrorism in Gilgit was strongly condemned and it was considered a well thought-out conspiracy aimed at sabotaging the steps taken by President Gen. Pervez Musharraf to root out terrorism.

Martyrs Conference was held at Jamia Wali-ul-Asr under the auspices of TNFJ, MFP and MSO district Islamabad in which leaders and people belonging to different schools of thought participated in a large number.

Allama Basharat Hussain Imami, District TNFJ President while addressing the Conference said, the whole world is confronted with the menace of terrorism but in Pakistan this “disease” continued progressing unabated. President Musharraf took good steps to root out terrorism that were lauded here and abroad alike and all patriotic and peace-loving forces praised those steps. He said had the steps taken by the President transformed into reality then the situation would not have gone worse in Balochistan, Karachi, Northern Areas and other cities of the country. Terrorism could not be controlled unless character and deeds are synchronised.

The TNFJ Islamabad President said that Gen. Pervez Musharraf must identify that why banned groups are working with new names, are a part of political alliances rather are visible within the ranks of the government and the opposition besides getting full protocol. He said electronic and print media, particularly the private TV channels are also giving extensive coverage to them. The banned groups have no programmes and they are totally failed, therefore, any incident happening in the country becomes power for their soul in the garb of which they commit lawlessness and cause damage to property. He said even the government seems to be helpless against them.

He said if the situation remained the same then the conditions could take a worse turn. He said the Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Syed Hamid Moosavi has announced in clear-cut terms that a terrorist keeps no Maktab or a country, he is only a terrorist but it seems that even the government does not understand a polite language and it has shut her eyes, therefore, it could not identify her friends and foes.

A resolution adopted on the occasion strongly demanded from the government to set up a Tribunal forthwith to probe the Gilgit incident so as to give exemplary punishment to the culprits. The resolution called upon the President to form a Committee to probe the elements sabotaging the Anti-Terrorism Act.

The resolution made it clear that the TNFJ is the only organisation that represents the Maktab-e-Tashayyo and that had organised eight-month long agitation and took over the Pakistan Secretariat in favour of its demands but did not lose patience and respected the Constitution and the law of the land. The resolution said that our gentlemanliness should not be considered as our weakness as we have always given preference to the interests of the religion, motherland and its people over all other things. The resolution questioned that why those who took law into their hands in the garb of Gilgit incident, did not create fuss in Balochistan and Sarhad?

Fateha Khawani was offered for Maulana Ziauddin Rizvi and other martyrs at the conclusion of the Conference.

Condolence gatherings, protest rallies held to mourn Maulana Ziauddin; Govt pressed to take notice of banned groups activities

ISLAMABAD – January 14: Condolence gatherings and peaceful anti-terrorism protests were held throughout the country on Friday to mourn the passing away of religious leader of Gilgit Maulana Ziauddin Rizvi as a part of two-day mourning announced by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Syed Hamid Moosavi.

Tributes were paid to martyrs of Gilgit in Friday congregations in all small and big cities and towns of the country including Federal Capital Islamabad, Northern Areas, and Azad Kashmir during which prayers were also made for the departed souls and sympathy with the bereaved families was expressed.

Ulema and speakers demanded from the government to arrest the killers of Maulana Ziauddin Rizvi and others who succumbed to terrorism and give them exemplary punishment besides forming a high level Tribunal to probe the Gilgit incident.

District President Ghulam Murtaza Chauhan while addressing a protest gathering organised in Rawalpindi under the auspices of TNFJ District Council to mourn Gilgit incident said, terrorism going on in the country for quite long is a heinous conspiracy of our perpetual enemy who is using all tactics to shatter peace in Pakistan.

He said some unseen forces were going all out to sabotage the steps taken by President Gen. Pervez Musharraf to root out terrorism and now these elements have diverted their attention toward the most sensitive Northern Areas after Balochistan. Therefore, he said, the government should activate the Anti-Terrorism Act forthwith and should take notice of the activities of the banned groups working with new names.

A resolution adopted on the occasion strongly condemned the Gilgit incident and termed the act of pushing the sensitive areas towards fire of riots a deep conspiracy of the enemy so as to fulfil her nefarious designs. The resolution declared that as per saying of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Syed Hamid Moosavi a terrorist keeps no religion or a country, he is only a terrorist. Therefore, it said, the Gilgit incident should also be viewed in the context of terrorism and the culprits should be dealt with severely.

Condolence meetings in connection with mourning the Gilgit incident were also organised at Qasr-e-Abu Talib Mughalabad, Kazmia Mosque Shah Piyara Chuhr Harpal, Jamia Mosque Jafariya I-9, Khadijatul Kubra Tarlai Kalan Mosque, Haideria Mosque Chittian Hattian, Qasr-e-Shabbir Dhoke Syedan, Ahle Bait Mosque Gaddowal, and Qasr-e-Imam Moosa Kazim where ulema addressed.

Moosavi at Mehfil-e-Haideri calls for following Seerat of Nabi (SAW) and Ali (A.S.) to turn world into a peace hub

RAWALPINDI : The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that we can get rid of oppression, brutality and suppression by adopting the life-style of Amirul Momineen Hazrat Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S.).

He was addressing the Mehfil-e-Haideri here on Thursday. He said Hazrat Ali (A.S.) is that great personality who opened his eyes in the lap of Risalat while the eyes of Rasool (SAW) were closed in the lap of Ali (A.S.).

Agha Moosavi said that crux of a saying of the Maula Ali (A.S.) is that I was a child when Rasool (SAW) took me into his lap, he kept on keeping me close to his chest, used to give me room beside him in the bed, used to touch his holy body with that of mine, used to make me smell his odour, he used to chew something and then put it in my mouth making a loaf out of it. He did not find lie in any of my utterances or saw any weakness or slackness in any of my work. God had kept Rooh Al-Quds with him from the very beginning, and he was keeping pious habits and holy seerat through the same and I used to follow him like a child-camel follows his mother, he used to teach me good morals every day and order to follow the same. He used to stay in Hira Cave for some time every year and worship Allah, there no one used to see him except myself. At that time Islam was not in any home but in that of Ummul Momineen Hazrat Khadija (S.A.), however, I was the third amongst them who used to see Wahi, Ilhaam, and the light of Apostleship and smell the odour of Prophethood. I am from that party whose faces are pictures of truthful and utterances a bunch of good deeds. They the night-ceasers and the beacon of religion attached with the string of Allah, they give life to Allah’s commandment and Sunnah of messenger of Islam. My will for you is that do not consider anyone Allah’s Sharer, do not waste Sunnah of Rasool (SAW), follow the Seerat-e-Rasool, that is the best Seerat.

Agha Moosavi said that the Quranic Ayah stands witness to this saying of Hazrat Ali (A.S.) and it is crystal clear that the life span of the Holy Prophet (SAW) spread over 63 years, 53 year Makki and 10 years Madni, is a practical display of patience and forbearance that has no match in the history. He never committed aggression, condemned all type of biases, and promoted love and devotion.

He said we would have to make the Seerat of Nabi (SAW) and Ali (A.S.) a beacon of light for ourselves if we desire to turn this world into a hub of peace and make the motherland a bright star in the sky. By doing so, he said, not only terrorism could be controlled rather we would be able to resolve our problems and for this purpose we would have to transform ourselves in the Islamic outfit under which motherland Pakistan came into being.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Hamid Moosavi said if rights of all are taken care of and respect and dignity of everyone is kept in mind then no enemy how big he is, could cause any harm to us. He reiterated his resolve to continue his struggle against all types of oppression, evil and terrorism and would promote unity and brotherhood through following the golden principles of Islam.

Allama Haideri calls for ban on taking part in active politics in name of sect

RAWALPINDI – January 12: Allama Tajuddin Haideri, Central Vice-President of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said that ulema played a major role in promoting and preaching religion while the Aimma Masajid (prayer leaders) always played the most important role in this connection as they remain in contact with general public at least five times a day, therefore, the heavy responsibility of correcting the society and keeping it away from evils rests on them.

He stated this while talking to a delegation of ulema that called on him at the head of Hujjatul Islam Syed Hussain Kazmi, Chairman Tanzeem Shia Aimma Masajid here on Wednesday.

Allama Haideri said justice has been declared the foundation of the religion and the Shariat and on this basis stress has been put on avoiding war and adopting the path of peace and tranquillity in Islam. He said goods and evils of every society are stated keeping its social and cultural principles and standard while the definitions of human societies also keep on changing in line with the differences amongst them.

He said Islam which is the religion of peace and tranquillity and a complete code of life, presents the eternal agenda of Amar Bil Ma’aroof and Nahi Anil Munker for solution of problems and difficulties faced by the human societies.

He said at present the whole world of humanity and the society was confronted with the biggest evil in the shape of terrorism in the garb of which international colonial powers and her agents were targeting the Islamic World and the oppressed nations spreading a wave of fear and harassment. He said motherland Pakistan is the target of terrorism for quite long.

The TNFJ Central Vice-President said, the TNFJ enjoys the honour of identifying the reason of terrorism before the Supreme Court of Pakistan and presenting Moosavi Peace Formula for checking the same. First time in the history of Pakistan, the President Gen. Pervez Musharraf displayed courage of taking revolutionary steps to root out terrorism keeping this Peace Formula in view rather he also imposed restrictions on extremist groups playing the heinous game of terrorism.

He expressed his concern that some unseen elements were sabotaging the steps taken by President Musharraf and the banned groups are being included not only in political alliances but are also visible in government functions and programmes. He said some private TV channels present some elements as religious leaders but actually they are the black scar on the forehead of the religion and the Millat.

Allama Haideri said that as per saying of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya, Agha Hamid Moosavi, politics is not an untouchable tree, however, it is subservient to the religion. Those who take part in active electoral politics from sectarian platform have given nothing to the nation and the country but dead bodies and problems.

He strongly demanded from the government to impose ban on seeking vote and taking part in active politics in the name of sect so as to root out terrorism. Moreover, he said, the banned groups should be strictly stopped from carrying out their activities with new names.

He said Muharramul Haram is on our heads, therefore, the Federal Government should direct the District Governments to strike out the members of banned organisations from Peace Committees and contact the real and patriotic representatives of recognised schools of thought for this purpose.
