Allama Haideri calls for ban on taking part in active politics in name of sect

RAWALPINDI – January 12: Allama Tajuddin Haideri, Central Vice-President of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said that ulema played a major role in promoting and preaching religion while the Aimma Masajid (prayer leaders) always played the most important role in this connection as they remain in contact with general public at least five times a day, therefore, the heavy responsibility of correcting the society and keeping it away from evils rests on them.

He stated this while talking to a delegation of ulema that called on him at the head of Hujjatul Islam Syed Hussain Kazmi, Chairman Tanzeem Shia Aimma Masajid here on Wednesday.

Allama Haideri said justice has been declared the foundation of the religion and the Shariat and on this basis stress has been put on avoiding war and adopting the path of peace and tranquillity in Islam. He said goods and evils of every society are stated keeping its social and cultural principles and standard while the definitions of human societies also keep on changing in line with the differences amongst them.

He said Islam which is the religion of peace and tranquillity and a complete code of life, presents the eternal agenda of Amar Bil Ma’aroof and Nahi Anil Munker for solution of problems and difficulties faced by the human societies.

He said at present the whole world of humanity and the society was confronted with the biggest evil in the shape of terrorism in the garb of which international colonial powers and her agents were targeting the Islamic World and the oppressed nations spreading a wave of fear and harassment. He said motherland Pakistan is the target of terrorism for quite long.

The TNFJ Central Vice-President said, the TNFJ enjoys the honour of identifying the reason of terrorism before the Supreme Court of Pakistan and presenting Moosavi Peace Formula for checking the same. First time in the history of Pakistan, the President Gen. Pervez Musharraf displayed courage of taking revolutionary steps to root out terrorism keeping this Peace Formula in view rather he also imposed restrictions on extremist groups playing the heinous game of terrorism.

He expressed his concern that some unseen elements were sabotaging the steps taken by President Musharraf and the banned groups are being included not only in political alliances but are also visible in government functions and programmes. He said some private TV channels present some elements as religious leaders but actually they are the black scar on the forehead of the religion and the Millat.

Allama Haideri said that as per saying of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya, Agha Hamid Moosavi, politics is not an untouchable tree, however, it is subservient to the religion. Those who take part in active electoral politics from sectarian platform have given nothing to the nation and the country but dead bodies and problems.

He strongly demanded from the government to impose ban on seeking vote and taking part in active politics in the name of sect so as to root out terrorism. Moreover, he said, the banned groups should be strictly stopped from carrying out their activities with new names.

He said Muharramul Haram is on our heads, therefore, the Federal Government should direct the District Governments to strike out the members of banned organisations from Peace Committees and contact the real and patriotic representatives of recognised schools of thought for this purpose.

Youm-e-Taqwa observed marking Martyrdom Anniversary of Hazrat Imam Taqi (A.S.); Majalis, Taboot Processions held

RAWALPINDI – January 11: The Martyrdom Anniversary of Hazrat Imam Muhammad Taqi (A.S.) was observed as Youm-e-Taqwa (Day of Piety) throughout the country like other global parts on Tuesday on the call of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya, Syed Hamid Moosavi.

Majalis-e-Aza were held and Taboot processions were taken out in all small and big cities and towns of the country in Federal Capital Islamabad and all the four provinces including Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas. Matamdaran performed Noha-Khwani and presented condolences in Bargah-e-Risalat and Imamat while ulema, waizeen and zakireen termed the practical following of the uswah of Imam Taqi Al-Jawwad (A.S.) a guarantee for blessings and welfare.

Allama Basharat Hussain Imami addressing a Majlis-e-Aza organised under the auspices of TNFJ District Council Islamabad’s Youm-e-Taqwa Committee said, the Muslim Ummah could get rid of problems and difficulties by following the pious seerat of Imam Taqi (A.S.). He said today the whole mankind was crying in pain, Iraq, Afghanistan, Kashmir and Palestine are in pool of blood, no one is to take care of the Islamic World and the oppressed people.

In these circumstances, he said, the international organisations are under the obligation to fulfil their responsibilities, give up their dual standards and give the oppressed their due. He said Imam Muhammad Taqi (A.S.) taught the way of confronting the oppressive and brutal rulers and live an honourable life. Matamdari was performed after the Majlis.

The main Majlis of Youm-e-Taqwa was held at the residence of Syed Asif Kazmi under the auspices of Mukhtar Students Organisation in Rawalpindi. Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi in his address on the occasion said, the uswah of Imam Al-Jawwad (A.S.) is the beacon of light for the world of Zuhd-o-Taqwa. He said the Khandaan-e-Ismat and Taharat sacrificed even their life for the supremacy of eternal principles of Islam. He said the life span of the Imam Taqi (A.S.) spread over 25 years is replete with promotion and preaching of Islam, protection of Shariat-e-Muhammadi and welfare of the humanity during which the difficulties and detention could not divert him from the path of welfare as a punishment of which he kissed martyrdom but did not bargain on principles making it clear on the world that the righteous people never bow down before the evil forces.

The participants of the gathering unanimously adopted a resolution on the occasion making it clear that the great objective of Muhammad (SAW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) was promotion of justice and fair-play and expressing hatred against oppression and brutality. The resolution opined that the Islamic World and the oppressed nations are still confronted with oppression and brutality, colonial oppression is going on in Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan, and Iraq and in these circumstances the international organisations are under the obligation to adopt a strong, stable and justifiable policy resolving their problems so as to root it out giving the oppressed people a sigh of relief. For this purpose, it is necessary for the big powers to utilise their energies on welfare of the people instead of killing them.

The resolution while condemning the heinous play of pitching one Maktab against the other and the majority against the minority in Muslim States, considered that as per saying of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya, Agha Hamid Moosavi, a terrorist keeps no Maslak or a country, he is only a terrorist who should be wiped out.

The resolution expressed concern that motherland Pakistan was the target of terrorism for the last three decades and Gen. Pervez Musharraf not only taken many good steps to root it out rather put restrictions on the terrorist groups but these groups are active again with new names and are involved in terrorism in the sensitive area of Gilgit, then they murdered many innocent people and caused damage to the public property which is a part of heinous conspiracy.

Therefore, it said, the government is duty bound to correct the law and order situation in Gilgit while Gen. Pervez Musharraf should take a strong notice of who has sabotaged the Anti-Terrorism Act besides finding out those elements in the government departments who have sabotaged this Act giving an open hand to the miscreants.

The resolution demanded from the government to set up a high level Tribunal to initiate immediate probe into Gilgit incident and pay compensation for the losses incurred during it. The resolution said that all internal and external powers should keep in mind that no power on earth could create rift amongst the recognised schools of thought, we all created Pakistan through a joint struggle and would defend it jointly breaking the hands of those who would try to create rift amongst them. Another resolution strongly condemned some private TV channels for encouraging banned groups and giving them coverage with new names.

Taboot Baab-e-Muraad was taken out after the Majlis followed by Matamdari. Similar gatherings were addressed by Allama Hamdani at Qasr-e-Abu Talib, Allama Hussain Muqaddasi, Allama Hafiz Amjad Ali and other zakireen at Masjid and Imambargah Ahle Bait Gaddowal.

Therefore, he said, we strongly appeal all organisations including the United Nations and the OIC to give up duplicity and play their important role in Iraq by fulfilling the norms of justice so that pullout of allied forces becomes possible and Kashmir and Palestine are liberated from Hindus and Zionists making these regions a hub of peace.

The TNFJ chief said that there is a saying of the Masoom (A.S.) that says that talking about Prophets, Messengers, Aulia, and righteous persons, remembering them and observing their days is not only worship rather has been termed expiation (kaffarah) of the sins.

He said from amongst these Aulia and righteous persons, one of the great personality, brought up of Ilham-o-Wahi, inheritor and descendant of Nabi (SAW)-o-Ali (A.S.) is Hazrat Imam Muhammad Taqi (A.S.) who bestowed to Zuhd-o-Taqwa (piety) height and acme. He said Hazrat Imam Moosa Kazim (A.S.) told his companion in his era that if you meet my grandson, pay my regards to him. All personalities of the Khanwada-e-Risalat (SAW) are equal irrespective of their age in line with the saying:

The Quaid-i-Millat-e-Jafariya Hamid Moosavi said that the life span of Hazrat Imam Muhammad Taqi (A.S.) spread over 25 years stands witness that he carried out great struggle for the protection of human rights, and defence of religion and Shariat rather the dictators and tyrant rulers of his era kept him under great difficulties and stress but he bore those difficulties and did not allow anyone to cause any harm to the religion and Shariat. He never bowed down before the oppressors and brutal rulers and kissed martyrdom as a punishment, he added. He said the holy shrine of Imam Muhammad Taqi (A.S.) in Kazmain Sharifain is the Marja’a-e-Khalaiq (resort for all) even today.

Presenting condolences in the Bargah-e-Risalat (SAW) on the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Muhammad Taqi (A.S.), he resolved not to accept any restriction in fulfilling their duty viz. protection of their beliefs and ideologies and defence of the religion and Shariat. We would neither bargain nor allow anyone to bargain in such matters, he declared.
