Concluding programs of Ayyam-e-Hurmat-e-Masajid demand UN, OIC notice on US trampling of values

RAWALPINDI, June 11: The country-wide programmes of Ayyam-e-Hurmat-e-Masajid (Days of Honour of Mosques) protesting against desecration of holy places of Iraq including Kufa Mosque, Sehla Mosque, and Imam Abu Hanifa Mosque on the call of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan came to an end on Friday.

Strong protest was lodged against America and her allied forces for targeting Sha’a’ir-Ullah and desecrating mosques and holy shrines, at gatherings held at different mosques, Imambargahs and religious institutions on this occasion.

In Rawalpindi, Jamiat Ulema-e-Jafaria staged a peaceful protest rally at Committee Chowk that was led by different Ulema-e-Karam and religious elite.

Syed Abu Jafar Naqvi Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Provincial Council Punjab President while addressing Humat-e-Masajid Conference organised by Anjuman Ghulaman-e-Haider-e-Karrar at Mosque and Imambargah Ahle Bait, said that the oppressed nations and the Muslim Ummah are the target of enemies of Islam who did not even spare the house of Allah and shrines of holy religious personalities.

He said the dignity and honour of Kufa Mosque is crystal clear on the whole world and America and her allies have increased hatred in the Muslim hearts against them and their agents. He lamented that the human rights organisations and departments for protection of signs of archaeology normally summon conferences on mere issues but the whole humanity did not raise any voice of protest against desecration of respectable mosques including Kufa Mosque, Sehla Mosque, Imam Abu Hanifa Mosque, and holy shrine of Caliph of Muslims Hazrat Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S.).

Abu Jafar called upon the United Nations and the OIC to take immediate notice of American oppression, brutality, and trampling of religious and moral values and play their active role to root out American aggression otherwise there is no justification for these organisations to exist.

Strongly condemning the terrorist attack on a military motorcade resulting in martyrdom of army and police personnel, he termed it an attack on Pakistan. He strongly demanded from the government to move the Anti-Terrorism Act to root out terrorism, and take notice of the activities of extremist and banned groups operating with new names and outfits. He also called upon the government ministers and the opposition to sever their ties with the banned groups.

A resolution adopted by the participants of the gathering reiterated their resolve to support every line of action given to them by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi for promotion of the mission of “Wila” and “Aza” and for achieving the religious right of the Maktab-e-Tashayyo.

Syed Mohsin Abbas, Syed Hassan Mahdi, Khurram Zaidi, Saeen Muhammad Yousaf, and others also addressed the gathering. Fateha Khwani was offered for the martyrs of Mosque and Imambargah Ali Raza, Haideri mosque, and the Thursday’s Karachi incidents.

According to reports reaching the office of the Central Ayyam Hurmat-e-Masajid Committee of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, TNFJ Provincial Council Sarhad set up a protest camp in front of the Press Club where addressing the demonstrators, Provincial Council TNFJ President Sardar Hassan Ali Qazilbash lodged strong protest against the desecration of mosques and holy shrines in Iraq and called upon the international organisations to bind America to ensure protection, honour and respect of these holy places and initiate a case in the International Court of Justice against American President Bush for committing desecration.

Dr. Iqbal Javed Haideri Chairman TNFJ Political Cell while addressing the workers at the protest camp strongly condemned the firing and bomb attack on the military motorcade in Karachi and termed this incident in which eleven people including army and police personnel kissed martyrdom a heinous conspiracy against the solidarity and integrity of motherland Pakistan. He said the attack on the Corps Commander’s motorcade in Karachi is commensurate with attack on Pakistan. He demanded from the government to form a high level Tribunal to probe all incidents of terrorism, unveil the culprits and give them exemplary punishment.

The protestors present at the camp adopted a resolution condemning the government contact with the banned organisations and demanded from President Gen. Pervez Musharraf to probe that who has given permission to the banned groups to operate with new names, moreover why government and opposition make them sit in their lap and why media gives them extraordinary coverage.

Allama Ghulam Ali Zahid, Imam Juma-wal-Jamaat Shia Jamia Masjid Kucha Risaldar Peshawar, while terming the attack on Corps Commander’s motorcade in Karachi on Thursday termed the incident as open act of terrorism. He said as Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Moosavi has said, Pakistan is being punished for playing the role of front-line State against terrorism. He demanded exemplary punishment for culprits of all terrorism incidents and unveiling the conspiracy behind these acts.

Allama Saqlain Ali Bokhari, Imam Juma-wal-Jamaat Shia Jamia Masjid Rawalpindi, addressing the Juma congregation in connection with the Ayyam Hurmat-e-Masajid and Ayyam-e-Tarheem in connection with the Karachi incident said the honour and respect of signs of Allah, and shrines of religious personalities is binding on the whole humanity. He demanded from the international organisations to take steps to protect the important religious places without any discrimination while the Muslim Ummah and electronic and print media of the Muslim States should highlight these issues.

Allama Bokhari termed the attack on the military convoy in Karachi an attack on Pakistan. He said that Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Moosavi has already stated that a terrorist keeps no Maslak and a country, he is only a terrorist and today it has been proved that there is no Maktabi conflict in Pakistan rather the enemy’s real target is Islam, Pakistan and its people. He called upon all the countrymen to remain alert and avoid doing anything that may cause any harm to the nation and the country.

In Quetta, Muhammad Ali Advocate, Nisar Ali Hazara and other speakers while addressing a gathering in connection with Ayyam Hurmat-e-Masajid and Ayyam-e-Tarheem strongly condemned continuous incidents of desecration of holy places in Iraq and incidents of terrorism in Karachi. They demanded from the government to take concrete steps to restore law and order situation.

Protest meetings and rallies marking Ayyam Hurmat-e-Masajid and Ayyam-e-Tarheem were also held at Karachi, Lahore, Muzaffarabad, Gilgit, Larkana, Faisalabad, Haiderabad, Dera Ismail Khan, Jhelum, Chakwal, Gujrat, Hafizabad, Sheikhupura, Attock, Abbottabad, Kohat, and other cities.

Moosavi terms army-police personnel martyrdom ‘open terrorism’, declares Ayyam-e-Tarhim

RAWALPINDI, June 10: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan strongly condemning the martyrdom of eleven personnel of army and police as a result of firing and bomb blast in Karachi has termed it an open act of terrorism.

In a statement issued here on Thursday, he said Pakistan is being punished for playing frontline role against terrorism. The Karachi incident, after other incidents that took place in Quetta and Karachi and then the incidents taking place in Gilgit and Northern Areas aimed at diverting the attention from the earlier ones, is most severe tragedy which is sufficient to open eyes and there has left no secret now.

Announcing 3-day Ayyam-e-Tarheem to mourn the Karachi incident, Agha Moosavi said that had the powers that be taken strict actions against the culprits responsible for other incidents in the past, had formed Tribunal to enquire the same and had made their reports public then such type of incidents may have been controlled but, he lamented, the rulers and politicians did nothing save promoting mutual bickering, trying to root out one another, running after the chair and trying to prolong their rule.

The TNFJ chief made it clear that jawans of Pakistan Army and police personnel are parts of our heart who fulfil their duty of defending and protecting the nation and the country putting their life on stake, and they are not save then how could the general public feel themselves safe? He said we had already said that situations do not change with the administrative changes rather there is need to change the ideologies and thinking.

He said much has been said in the Inter-Provincial Conference presided over by the Federal Interior Minister, decision was also taken to keep an eye on the office-bearers of banned organisations but, on the other, government ministers are meeting them so much so that the President was also made to talk to them on telephone that smacks duplicity in words and deeds.

He said if we keep the survival, development, solidarity and integrity of the nation and the country intact then we would have to come out of the shells of personality and party and give priority to the collective interests of the nation and the motherland instead.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Moosavi demanded from President Gen. Pervez Musharraf to take notice of this situation that who has given the banned organisations permission to operate with new names. Moreover, why government and opposition make them sit in their lap and why they are given extraordinary coverage on media.

He said attack on the jawans of Pakistan Army is the attack on Pakistan and the people. We still stick to our point of view that a terrorist keeps no faith and country, he is only a terrorist. He said it has been proved today that there is no Maktabi conflict here rather Islam, Pakistan and its people are the real target of the enemy. He called upon the countrymen to remain alert and avoid doing anything that could be damaging for the nation and the country.

Meanwhile, a Central Committee of the TNFJ has been formed to organise Tarheem Day programmes throughout the country. Zulfiqar Ali Raja has been nominated Convener and S. Saqib Rizvi as Secretary of this Committee.

Ayyam-e-Hurmat-e-Masajid kick off: protest gatherings held across country

ISLAMABAD, June 09: Three-day Ayyam-e-Hurmat-e-Masajid (Days of Honour of Mosques) began on Wednesday throughout the country including Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas on the Call of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Hamid Moosavi to protest against desecration of Kufa Mosque and other holy sites at the hands of coalition forces.

Addressing “Honour of Mosques Seminar” held at Jamia-tul-Murtaza Islamabad, Syed Shujaat Ali Bokhari, Additional Secretary General of TNFJ said that keeping the honour and dignity of signs of Allah, holy shrines of Prophets, Messengers, Aulia, righteous persons, and pious companions, holy places, mosques and husseiniyaat is the responsibility of the whole humanity.

Bokhari demanded from all international forums and other international organisations including the United Nations that are active for the protection of archaeology to take steps for the protection of important places of all religions without any discrimination. They should get the honour of all mosques including Al-Aqsa Mosque, Babri Mosque, holy places situated at the Iraqi soil, Imam Abu Hanifah Mosque, Sehla Mosque, and Kufa Mosque and present the detail of the damages caused to the same by international colonial powers, Zionists and Hindus at the United Nations forum, bring the culprits to court and get them exemplary punishment. Similarly, he said, the Muslim Ummah and electronic, print and internet media of Muslim States should highlight these problems.

Shujaat Bokhari called upon the Government of Pakistan to take strict notice of trampling the dignity of mosques and other holy places and raise a voice of protest in this connection. He said Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has always not only lodged protest on national incidents keeping in line with the existing situation rather played an important role in highlighting the Islamic identity.

On the beginning of Ayyam-e-Hurmat-e-Masajid, he appealed all schools of thought to condemn the international colonial powers and her agents with one voice and express complete solidarity with the oppressed busy in confronting them.

According to reports received by the office of TNFJ Central Ayyam-e-Hurmat-e-Masajid Committee, ulema, scholars and intellectuals while addressing gatherings at provincial, regional and district headquarters said that no religion allows trampling of national memorials rather their protection and honour is included in human and social duties.

Allama Abidi and Allama Aun Naqvi addressed a gathering marking Days of Honour of Mosques in Karachi, while Syed Lutfullah Lakyari in Larkana, Allama Ghulam Ali Zahid in Peshawar, Akhund Ghulam Muhammad Amouni in Northern Areas, Syed Muhammad Naqvi in Lahore and Aqa-e-Muhammad Isa Keherman in Quetta. Ayyam-e-Hurmat-e-Masajid announced; Moosavi terms Kufa Mosque profaning ‘open challenge’

RAWALPINDI, June 08: Chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi strongly condemning the desecration of Kufa Mosque at the hands of coalition forces has announced to observe 3-day Ayyam-e-Hurmat-e-Masajid (Days of Honour of Mosques) from June 9-11 throughout the country.

In a statement issued here on Tuesday he said, today not only oppressed people and the Islamic World are the target of international colonial powers but to target Mashaheer-e-Islam and holiest cities and to reduce their importance is an important part of Zionist conspiracy.

Agha Moosavi stressed that Kufa City is one of the cities liked by Allah while Kufa Mosque is considered one of most supreme mosques which has been considered Harm-e-Khuda, Harm Rasool-e-Khuda (SAW) and Harm Amirul Momineen Hazrat Ali (A.S.). He said the reward of offering one Raka’at of prayer at this Mosque is equal to offering one thousand Raka’ats of prayer, one thousand Prophets and Selected persons of Allah offered prayer here and when the Holy Prophet (SAW) set out from Al-Aqsa Mosque to Qaab-e-Qausain, he descended in the same Mosque also. On one side of this mosque there are shrines of Hazrat Muslim ibne Aqeel (A.S.), Hazrat Mukhtar Saqafi (R.A.), and Hani bin Urwa who preferred death over life for the supremacy of religion and Shariah and kissed martyrdom as a blessing. He said Dakkatul-Qaza is posted in this mosque from where Maula-e-Kainnat Hazrat Ali (A.S.) used to issue his judgements and Quranic Ayah “Inn-Allah Yamoru Bil Adlay Wal Ehsaan” is inscribed on one of its pillars on the basis of which the Holy Prophet (SAW) used to say that “Ali is the best judge”.

The TNFJ chief said that today there is dearth of justice all over the world as a result of which oppression, brutality, oppression, and terrorism is the order of the day, the Zionists destructed the honour of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Hindus raised down Babri Mosque while allied forces were trampling the dignity of Kufa Mosque by carrying out aggression against it but the Islamic World was keeping a mum and it seems that their honour is in deep slumber. He declared that attacks on mosques and holy places are an open challenge to the world of religion and Shariah.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Moosavi appealed the countrymen to highlight the supremacy and dignity of signs of Allah: mosques and other places of worship by observing 3-day Ayyam-e-Hurmat-e-Masajid against the trampling of mosques and reiterate their commitment and express solidarity with the have-nots the world over including oppressed people of Kashmir, Palestine, Iraq and Afghanistan. Moreover, he said this should be made clear that the main objective of the Islamic World is promoting love and devotion and restoring peace and justice.

Meanwhile, TNFJ Central Committee has been formed to organise Ayyam-e-Hurmat-e-Masajid programmes. Allama Taqi Naqvi has been nominated as Convener and Dr. D.M. Haideri as Secretary of this Committee.

Moosavi demands sacking of Northern Areas inable admin

RAWALPINDI, June 07: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan while strongly condemning the murder of three citizens in the garb of curfew in Gilgit has demanded immediate suspension of inable Administration of Northern Areas, and to form an expanded Tribunal to probe incidents of terrorism that took place in Quetta, Karachi and Northern Areas so as to hold an impartial enquiry the report of which should be made public.

He stated this while talking to a representative delegation of TNFJ, MFP, and MSO Balochistan that called on him here on Monday. The delegation comprised Muhammad Ali Advocate, Jan Muhammad alias Janu Lala, Nisar Ali Hazara, Sardar M. Tariq Jafri, and Mahdi Hazarvi.

Agha Moosavi called upon small and big organisations and institutions to join representative organisations of the nation actively if they sincerely desire solution of their problems and see a bright future for Pakistan, otherwise they would themselves be responsible for the situation. He said the country was confronted with terrorism internally, and riots in most sensitive Northern Areas after Balochistan and Karachi is a matter of concern.

He lamented that Ministers of the Jamali Cabinet were holding meetings with those terrorist groups that had been put under restriction twice and these meetings are commensurate with strengthening terrorists. The important steps taken by the President to root out terrorism have been put aside. The President has talked to a leader of terrorist group on phone and if this trend continues then how can we root out terrorism? He said tyranny is being imposed in the country in the garb of democracy. The best friend is the one who informs his friends about his defects. As we keep the interest of religion, motherland and people supreme over all other things, therefore, saying Kalma-e-Haq is inherited by us.

The TNFJ chief said after the 11 September incident, the chief of international colonial powers i.e. America has adopted the policy of looking after her interests, for which she first rooted out Afghanistan and after installing a government of her own choice there, destructed Iraq and the treatment meted out to prisoners in Iraqi jails is not only inhuman but a black scar on the face of humanity.

On the other hand, he said, massacre in Israel, and State terrorism in Kashmir is no more a secret. He said the so-called powers should keep in mind that whether it is Middle East or South Asia, the solution of all conflicts and restoration of law and order in any part of the world lay in implementation of the United Nations Resolutions, pullout of occupation forces from Palestine and Held Kashmir. Zionists and Hindus desire a solution to conflicts on the basis of their power and thus were following plans leading to their political and economic supremacy. Unless the Indian government takes acceptable and positive steps, exchange of goodwill messages, telephonic contacts, and exchange of smiles would prove optimistic till that time.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Moosavi said human being is honourable and from amongst the world religion, Islam has the honour to preach respect the human being and about the duties and rights of them. Islam is against imposing one ideology over the other and has given commandment to exercise large-heartedness giving every person the right to stick to his own ideology independently and disseminate the same.

He said some people are so tough that they do not give others right to express that leads to narrow-mindedness promoting hatred, enmity and biases. He said there is a commandment of Allah that the human being has been told about both right and wrong, he may follow the good or bad as he desires. Today the human being is desirous of imposing his own ideology on others and ignore that of others that is tantamount to excess and injustice, as a result of which the whole world is suffering today.

The delegation assured the Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya not to spare presenting any sacrifice for the supremacy of motherland and achievement of their religious rights.

Moosavi pays tributes to Ayatullah Khomeini, demands tribunal on Karachi-Gilgit incidents

RAWALPINDI, June 06: Youm-e-Hurmat-e-Mashaheer-e-Islam (Day of Honour of Islam’s Heroes) was observed throughout Pakistan including all four provinces, Azad Kashmir and northern areas like other global parts in accordance with the announcement made by the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan (TNFJ) to mark the death anniversary of Leader of Islamic Revolution Hazrat Ayatollah Al-Uzma Syed Roohullah Moosavi Al-Khomeini.

Majalis, congregations and condolence references were held and scholars, intellectuals and speakers in their speeches highlighted the significance of Mashaheer-e-Islam.

Addressing a Majlis-e-Ali (A.S.) marking the occasion, the TNFJ chief Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said colonial powers and their agents are afraid of Ulema-e-Haqqa (true religious scholars), and to defame them terms of fundamentalist, radical, conservative and reformist were forged, and accusing them for terrorism a conspiracy was made to offend them in order to avenge oppressed nations and Islamic world.

Islam is divine, heavenly and universal religion which considers all human beings ‘honourable’ without discrimination of colour, tongue, creed and religion.

لقد كرمنا بني آدم

Stands witness upon it.

Agha Moosavi said worship of Allah has been termed objective of human creation while objective of worship is Marifat (knowledge of God), which makes human being a human being and teaches a servant obedience. He said Islam forbids not from any knowledge, it has just said that seek that knowledge that is beneficial, which is useful for human beings, whether it is worldly knowledge or religious. It must be obtained only on the principles of Allah. He said base and foundation of Marifat is knowledge; that is why men of knowledge possess lofty status

والذين أوتوا العلم درجات (القرآن)

And for this base, their respect is must. He said we have to look at merits and not to demerits. There goes a saying of Maula-e-Kaenaat Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S.):

لا تنظر إلى من قال أنظر إلى ما قيل

See not who is saying, see what he is saying

The TNFJ chief said Ulema-e-Haqqa have been termed inheritors of Prophets and Messengers

العلماء ورثة الأنبياء

As respect of Prophets, Messengers and their pious descendants is obligatory, similarly Ulema-e-Haqqa should be respected. The objective of Prophets had been character building, likewise the objective of Ahle Bait-e-Athar, Sahaba Kibar, Tabeyeen, Taba Tabeyeen, Mujtahideen Kiram and Maraje Uzzam has been to make a human being servant of the Merciful, the Compassionate. Imam Ghazali writes that it is not the objective of education that only the thirst of knowledge of youths’ minds be quenched, rather to create a sense of praiseworthy traits of moral and collective character.

Moosavi said the holy Prophet (SAW) uttered the objective of his prophethood very clearly:

إنما بعثت معلما

I have been sent as a teacher

Moosavi said all old and new sciences are under obligation to the blessings of holy Prophet (SAW). He (SAW) is City of Knowledge while Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) is the Gate of the City of Knowledge. Ulema-e-Haqqa have a contributory role in every period and that is why people have been ordered to turn to them, and the qualities of these Maraje are depicted in this manner: people should follow a faqih who is just, protector of religion, who opposes his sensual appetites and lusts, obeys his master.

Agha Moosavi said Hazrat Ayatollah Roohullah Al-Khomeini was the personality who fulfills all these qualities, there was no contradiction in his words and deeds and he possessed high status of justice and equity, and on the same base he was resort of all. As Imam Abu Hanifa, Imam Shafeyi, Imam Malik and Imam Hambal possessed important positions in their eras, similarly by the grace of Allah there are such personalities from Nuwwab-e-Arbaa (Four Depities of Imam-e-Zamanah (A.F)) till this day in Maktab-e-Tashayyo who enjoy lofty status and after Allah, holy Prophet (SAW), Ahle Bait (A.S.) and Sahaba Kibar (R.A.), their orders are considered final because neither they bow down nor be sold, they neither bargain nor let anyone else to do the same.

He said Kashmir and Palestine are a target of colonial powers for the last half a century, where the worst terrorism is being committed, dozens of people are being killed, but the world has seen that neither they be pushed back from the path of truth nor their movements be suppressed.

He said that after 9/11 incident, Afghanistan has been changed to Qatlistan (slaughter place), Iraq was attacked, cities after cities were destructed and even the holies city Najaf Ashraf as well as Karbala Moalla, Kazmain Sharifain, Baghdad, Samra and the holy shrine of Amirul Momineen Hazrat Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) which is also the shrine of Prophet Adam (A.S.) and Prophet Noah (A.S.), were not spared.

He said Muslims have proved through their character that their religion is a messenger of peace and tranquility, they consider every kind of terrorism ‘oppression,’ therefore linking any terrorist with any State and faith is in itself a great terrorism. A terrorist keeps no State and faith, he is only a terrorist. Whole Islamic world and Mashaheer-e-Islam (Heroes of Islam) severely condemn them; those who commit terrorism are not banday (servants of Allah) rather darinday (beasts), they are Satan in the face of human being, not Moses (A.S.) and Aaron (A.S.) but Pharaoh and Sharon.

Agha Moosavi said: “Me, on the sad occasion of demise anniversary of my respect worthy teacher Hazrat Roohullah Moosavi Al-Khomeini, demand from the so-called world monopolists to change their way, consider also Muslim and oppressed people ‘human beings,’ withdraw their forces from Iraq and Afghanistan, resolve issues of Kashmir and Palestine in line with the UN resolutions, punish the perpetrators of atrocities against inmates in Abu Gharib Prison and other jails by bringing them in ICC, and restore the honor of Maraje Uzzam, Mashaheer-e-Islam and Holy Places.”

He said the beloved motherland is a target of terrorism for more than two and a half decades; at present all sensitive parts are facing unrest, disturbance, disappointment and dissension. In such circumstances, people should recognize their friends and foes, and open not Pandora box of problems, affiliate themselves with the representative bodies of the nation otherwise they will be responsible. After Quetta, the game which is being played in Karachi and now in northern areas is a mischief of enemies of religion and motherland; therefore the rulers should display wisdom and sagacity, form tribunal for probe and inquiry of all incidents that fulfills demands of justice.

Demanding release of all innocent detainees in Karachi, northern areas Gilgit and Baltistan, the Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya said the government should compensate for the incidents and make sure treatment of the injured. He said we always give preference to the interests of nation, religion and motherland over every thing, and utter words of truth even on spear-head. If we desire to make Islam reach on the lofty and high status by serving it, then we should have to display practical unity on every occasion, and it is possible only when respect and honor of all be kept in view. In this lay our survival, development and eternity of our dignity, he added.
