RAWALPINDI, April 19: Syed Mazhar Ali Shah Advocate, Central Secretary General of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said the government should make foolproof law and order arrangements on the occasion of Chehlum of Shuhada-e-Karbala. He stated this while addressing the Mushawarti Council here on Friday. He said Maktab-e-Tashih gives priority to only Azadari programmes from 1st Muharram to 8th Rabiul Awwal as it is our jugular vein in the light of clear-cut instructions of Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. He said Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan is the only representative organisation of Maktab-e-Tashih that has always given an honourable policy for the betterment and welfare of the nation, the country and the people, therefore, recognises that the oncoming Referendum is not only lawful but also in accordance with
Shariat.

Syed Mazhar Ali Shah said Gen. Musharraf had announced to hold Referendum in the end of first week of May but the Election Commissioner fixed the date for April 30 in violation of that announcement which is tantamount to Presidential announcement. We, therefore, demand from the military leadership to take notice of this situation in the larger interest of the country and the nation, hold an immediate probe and fix the Referendum after the Chehlum of Shuhada-e-Karbala. He said the electronic and print media were giving full coverage to anti-Referendum parties and politicians, which is their right and a good step but on the other hand Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya was being ignored that indicates their double standards. He said, in the present circumstances when our perpetual enemy India has deployed troops on our borders, the graph of the military leadership’s popularity, which is a preface for setting out seven-point agenda and democracy, was going down owing to their ministers and advisers.

The TNFJ Secretary General demanded from the powers that be to initiate departmental action and judicial enquiry against the elements responsible for detention of innocent people for a period of more than three months and who gave an open hand to terrorists. He said we give priority to Ayyam-e-Aza over all other matters and the rulers should prove through their deeds that the steps taken by them should not break the heart of any Maktab. He said special interest should be taken to make best arrangements to ensure law and order on the occasion of Chehlum of Nawasa-e-Rasool Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) while Muharram Cell set up in the Interior Ministry should continue till 12th Rabiul Awwal along with similar Cells in all the provinces so as to resolve all possible problems, smoothly thwarting the evil designs of enemies of religion and the motherland, and avoiding any bad effects on the occasion of oncoming Presidential Referendum.

A resolution adopted on the occasion by members of the Mashawarti Council expressed undeterred confidence in the courageous and wise leadership of Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi and reiterated their resolve to offer any sacrifice on his call whenever so required.

RAWALPINDI, April 18: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said the rulers who talk about wiping out differences between richness and poorness are under the obligation to adopt the lowest social standards for themselves. He stated this while talking to a representative delegation of TNFJ District Attock that called on him at the head of Syed Zamirul Hassan Naqvi here on Thursday. He said one of the qualities stated about rulers in the religion and Shariat is that their way of living should be lower than the poorest person in society so that no one could point his finger on him.

Agha Moosavi said the Holy Prophet (SAW) by putting stones on his belly and Hazrat Ali (A.S.) by eating very simple diet and by wearing cheaper outfit as compared to slaves fulfilled that quality. When the slave said, “Maula, you should wear a good quality Kurta”, he did not say that he is Amirul Momineen rather he said I am old and you are young. He said saying something is easy while its implementation is a difficult task. He said what the President of Pakistan was doing indicates that no one is richer than him, therefore, he should prove through his deeds that life is commensurate with deeds.

The TNFJ chief said every leader sang the song of poverty for prolonging or grabbing power and wiped out the poor instead of poverty when they fulfilled their desire. He said at present the richest few families were exploitation the humanity, while richest few also imposed on the international colonial powers who were carrying out brutalities against the oppressed world making fun of their poverty. He said men in “khaki” and “white” were also doing all this in the motherland Pakistan for the last 55 years.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said if the Khanwada-e-Muhammad and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) and Sahaba Kubaar (R.A.) have served religion and blessed the creation of God through their deeds and if we today are sincere in our claims then the Muslim rulers should do something practical to get rid of the oppressed world from the brutalities of the international colonial powers and lay down a joint strategy to thwart the conspiracy of colonial powers and their Zionist and Hindu agents by adopting Islamic teachings. He said Islam presents solution to all problems and highlights all dimensions of the human life and the key to our success and survival lay in following the Islamic principles.

RAWALPINDI, April 17: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said New York and Washington incidents proved great holocaust for the oppressed and Muslims in the garb of which America and International Coalition shattered the oppressed Muslim nations and gave an open hand to Zionists and Hindus to destruct the oppressed and Muslim people. He stated this while giving special address on the occasion of country-wide “Youm Dukhtar-e-Islam” observed in Pakistan and the world over with devotion and reverance. 

Agha Moosavi said he had been saying from the day one that oppression could not be rooted out through oppression, and terrorism not through terrorism, therefore if America desires to make this world hub of peace then she should extend the hand for peace and tranquillity. He said Sharon has rolled over tanks over Palestinians, rained bombs, razed cities and towns to ground, detained Yasser Arafat and was still carrying out bloodshed there. He said rejection of demands for Israeli pullout by Arab League, OIC, European Union and the United Nations was an open humiliation of these organisations. On the other, he said revenge is being taken from Muslims through anti-Muslim riots in Indian State of Gujrat besides Indians were giving statements that all this was the result of extremism and violent policies of Muslims. 

The TNFJ chief said India was playing “holy” with the blood of Muslims in the Held Valley for the last 55 years and now anti-Muslim riots were going on in Indian Gujrat which is the result of double standards and Hippocratic attitude of America against the oppressed nations and Muslim people. He said America and her allies should keep in mind that the attitude of international colonial powers and their Zionist and Hindu agents would lay them down one day. He said the OIC should summon its session to unveil the heinous character of Sharon and Vajpayee and to express solidarity with Palestinians and Kashmiris. He said Islam preaches peace and condemns and hates oppression, brutality and terrorism. He said we are the followers of Hussain (A.S.) whose message is Mazloomiyyat that is called Hussainiyyat that preaches to prefer death with honour over life in humiliation and not to bow down before anyone but Allah.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said the daughter of Syed-us-Shuhada Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) bore all types of oppressive attitude while in Yazidi detention but made it clear over the whole world that we could not be deterred from the path of Shariat, Hussainiyyat and Mazloomiyyat while Shahadat is our inheritance and we term Shahadat a blessing for ourselves. He said the seerat and character of Sakina binte Hussain (S.A.) is the beacon of light for Dukhtran-e-Islam and we can achieve success here and the Hereafter and get rid of the international colonial powers by following in her foot-steps.

RAWALPINDI, April 16: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said that Islam is the religion of peace, love and solidarity and that has always given priority to peace and solidarity over all other things. He stated this in a special message issued on the occasion of Youm-e-Shahadat of Hazrat Masooma Sakina binte Hussain (A.S.) that is being observed as “Youm Dukhtar-e-Islam” throughout the country on Wednesday. He said the human history stands witness that Islam never committed any aggression therefore terming Muslims as terrorists by international Taghoot, their agents and now by Vajpayee is a heinous conspiracy against Islam and Muslims and in fact they desire to please international colonial powers by issuing such statements and divert the world attention from anti-Muslim riots, brutalities against minorities, razing and desecration of gurdwaras, churches, mosques and Imambargahs in India and continues oppressive activities against oppressive Kashmiris in the Held Valley.

Agha Moosavi said history stands witness that Hindus are extremists and violent while Islam and Pakistan always condemned aggression and expressed hatred against terrorists rather Pakistan imposed ban on terrorist groups while India on the contrary has given open hand to Hindu extremists. He said Vajpayee was giving the proof of his extremism by not accepting the opposition’s demand of sacking Gujrat Chief Minister who is responsible for anti-Muslim riots. Similarly, he said, Zionists have also proved that they are extremists and violent as Sharon had said that he will not spare any Palestinian woman and child so as to bury the slogan of independence forever. Sharon is still following that policy and the Janeen incident stands witness to his utterances, he added.

The TNFJ chief said that anti-Muslim riots in India and massacre in Palestine by Sharon provides food for thought for the whole mankind and in these circumstances terming the two as terrorists and war criminals has become a necessity. He asked where is America now who destructed Afghanistan in the garb of New York incident and was now bent upon attacking Iraq, why she was not taking action against the biggest terrorists of the world, Israel and India? Such an attitude on the part of America indicates that something is wrong somewhere, he added. He said massacre in the name of rooting out terrorism was aimed at wiping out the oppressed and Muslims.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi made it clear that Islam is the holiest religion that did not keep any difference between man and woman. That is why it had been said that every one of you is a shepherd and every shepherd will be questioned about his herd. He said like man is entrusted with some duties, similarly Islam has also blessed woman with supremacy and has accepted her in an important and permanent capacity but the Khanwada-e-Muhammad and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) is the greatest of all in the world of humanity in which all elders and children are equal. He said if Qasim (A.S.) and Asghar (A.S.) enjoy great honour in boys then Hazrat Masooma Sakina (S.A.) is he beacon of light for Dukhtran-e-Insaniyyat among the girls who did bear the brunt of jail and brutality after Shahadat-e-Hussain but did not deter from the right path and ultimately passed away in a very young age for the supremacy of Hussainiyyat. Her mausoleum is the beacon of light for Dukhtran-e-Insaniyyat, he added.

RAWALPINDI, April 14: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said seeking of vote from people by Gen. Pervez Musharraf for the continuity of the steps taken by the present government, particularly implementation on the Anti-Terrorism Ordinance and other reforms, during the last two and a half years was in line with religion, Shariat and Constitution. He further said that as the Referendum is being held before the Chehlum of Shuhada-e-Karbala ignoring our demand, therefore, Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan would not itself participate in Referendum keeping in view the dignity of Ayyam-e-Aza but it would not stop anyone from expressing his views and every body would be free to give his view. He stated this while giving his presidential address at the Central Cabinet meeting held at the Tehreek headquarters here on Sunday in which important decisions were made after reviewing important national affairs, arrangements for Chehlum of
Shuhada-e-Karbala.

The TNFJ chief said we consider that the Referendum is being held in line with the Constitution as the President of Pakistan has been given the right to hold Referendum according to the amendment made in Article 48 of the Constitution, answer to which could be given in “yes” or “no”. According to that Article the President of Pakistan is authorised to hold Referendum, he added. He said Pakistan came into being in the name of Islam and the basis of La Illaha is Hussain ibne Ali (A.S.), therefore Islam is commensurate with Hussainiyyat, which is other name of Azadari that is our jugular vein. He said Azadari is the source of the protests lodged by oppressed the world over and all struggles for independence including that of Palestine and Kashmir. 

Agha Moosavi said, after the World War-II allies under the well-planned conspiracy driven out Palestinians from their homeland and placed Israelis there. They were further strengthened to the extent that today they have become masters and were treating the real population of the area i.e. Palestinians as their slaves. He expressed surprise that Israel has not been termed terrorist despite crushing the independence movement of Palestinians spread over 57 years using tanks, planes, naval fleets etc. against them while the Palestinians sacrificing their lives fighting for their rights were being termed terrorists. He said similar attitude was being followed in India where Muslims were being burnt alive and their lives were being made difficult in the anti-Muslim riots, thousands of youngsters were being martyred, women made widows and children orphans in the Held Kashmir but despite all this non-sense India was not being termed terrorist. He said America destructed Iraq, then Afghanistan in the garb of September 11 incident but neither Russia nor America was termed terrorist which indicates that super powers consider struggle for independence as terrorism which is not fair. He said Arab League, OIC and European Union demanded withdrawal of Israeli forces from Palestine but America was saying that it would veto that Resolution, as it does not consider Israel terrorist.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said the dignity and honour of Muslims should come out of deep slumber now and the Muslim rulers should learn a lesson from past rulers. They should not flatter America for grabbing or prolonging powers but should work in the larger interest of the Islamic World instead, he added. He said they should keep in mind that America would never be happy because according to Quranic commandment, Zionists and Christians could not be friends of Muslims therefore America is the friend of Zionists and not that of Muslims because had it been so then Palestine and Kashmir would have achieved independence long ago. He said the Islamic World would have to inculcate Hussaini spirit for solution of all problems faced by them as in it lay our dignity, honour, and independence.

RAWALPINDI, April 15: The Central Cabinet meeting of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya presided over by Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi adopted various resolutions about important international and national issues. According to Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi, Central Secretary Information of the TNFJ, participants of the meeting through a resolution strongly demanded from the government to make special arrangements for Matmi processions and Majalis-e-Aza on the occasion of Chehlum of Shuhada-e-Karbala to be observed on 20th Safar. The resolution made it clear that Arbaeen-e-Hussaini is the Ashoora-e-Sani therefore the government should make special arrangements to ensure peace for smooth going of Azadari programmes besides giving full coverage to the Markazi Chehlum processions on the electronic media while national newspapers should also publish special editions on the occasion to highlight the importance of
Arbaeen.

Another resolution lamented political meeting of the President during Ashra-e-Muharram and beginning of Mass Contact Campaign in connection with Referendum from 25th Muharram that is the Youm-e-Shahadat of Hazrat Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) hurting the feelings of Mohibban-e-Aale Muhammad. Similarly, it said ignoring the call of Maktab-e-Tashih to hold Referendum after the Chehlum of Shuhada-e-Karbala he has negated the principles of Quaid-i-Azam. The resolution made it clear that Pakistan is not a sectarian but an Islamic State. The resolution expressed concern that the Chief Election Commissioner, who was meeting every Tom and Jerry, not met the delegation of TNFJ Political Cell knowingly rather tried to flare-up their feelings by fixing the Referendum date before the Chehlum of Shuhada-e-Karbala that does not suit him as the responsibility for this tragic situation lay on the Chief Election Commissioner because the President had entrusted him the job of fixing date for the Referendum and he knowingly fixed the date before the Chehlum. It indicates that there are some elements within the government that do not desire full participation of the people in Referendum and the President should initiate an enquiry in this matter, it said.

A resolution passed by the TNFJ Cabinet also strongly condemned the attitude of Pakistan Television for not giving coverage to the TNFJ high level meeting held on March 9, Press conference announcing the Code of Azadari on March 14 and the Central Cabinet meeting of the TNFJ on April 15. The resolution made it clear on the powers that be that Ahle Tashih have equal rights over all State departments being the tax payers and this country is not a personal “Jagir” of any one. The resolution asked the President of Pakistan, who was raising the slogan of provision of justice and was sympathising with the poor in every public meeting held in connection with the Referendum, to hold an enquiry into these matters. The resolution made it clear to the government as well as to the opposition that every one keeps his beliefs and ideologies dear to him while Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya keeps Hussainiyyat dearest of all that is commensurate with Azadari. That is why we observe no festivity or grief from 1st Muharram to 8th Rabiul Awwal, it said.

In another resolution, participants of the meeting while condemning Sharon’s brutalities against the oppressed Palestinians, particularly massacre of Muslims in Janeen demanded from the International Court of Justice to declare the whole alliance of Israeli prime minister Sharon a war criminal and try it accordingly. The super powers should also be tried if all this is being done on their behest, it said. Another resolution strongly condemning the anti-Muslim riots in India and brutalities against the oppressed Kashmiris in the Held Kashmir called upon the representative organisation of the Islamic World, OIC to play its role in getting these activities stopped by taking serious notice of Indian brutalities, by adopting a joint strategy and considering the oppressive attitude of Zionists and Hindus against the people of Kashmir and Palestine in the backdrop of the Islamic World.

The TNFJ Cabinet, in a resolution, demanded immediate arrest of the culprits of Shah-e-Najaf Rawalpindi in which 11 Nimazis were martyred, assassins of Shuhada-e-Karachi including Anwar Ali Tirmizi and Zulfiqar Haider, and all those who fell prey to incidents of terrorism in Mach (Balochistan), Islamabad Church and unveil them all before the nation giving them exemplary punishment. Demanding strict implementation of the Anti-Terrorism Ordinance, it derived the attention of the President that some powers were busy in sabotaging the Anti-Terrorism Ordinance and strengthening terrorists by gathering them around which should be taken notice of. It also demanded investigation to find out the elements that got the innocent people including TNFJ workers arrested in the garb of banned organisations. Demand was made to take lawful action against them because black sheep have penetrated in the government machinery creating hurdles in the implementation of Anti-Terrorism Ordinance.

A resolution taking serious notice of the efforts from some elements to introduce Khums Bill in the Azad Kashmir Legislative Assembly termed it contrary to Shia beliefs and a conspiracy to fan biases and to divert the attention from real issues, therefore the Azad Kashmir government should avoid adopting this Bill. Another resolution said that in the present critical circumstances when our perpetual enemy was deploying troops on our borders and Kashmir issue has been highlighted on international level, introducing such steps like Khums Bill were aimed at creating hurdle before such development and the Ahle Tashih of Azad Kashmir would never accept it.

Another resolution while strongly condemning the provoking articles published by monthly “Al-Falah” Rawalpindi demanded strong action against the elements behind it under the Anti-Terrorism Ordinance. Declaring the performance of Muharram Committee and setting up of Muharram Cells by the government in the Federal Interior Ministry and in the Sarhad Province as satisfactory, the participants of the meeting resolved that Azadari Cells should also be set up in other provinces including Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas. Formation of these Cells should be advertised and these should be kept intact till 12th of Rabiul Awwal because Ayyam-e-Aza programmes are regularly held till 8th Rabiul Awwal while Milad-un-Nabi processions are taken out on 12th Rabiul Awwal.

The Cabinet meeting formed Markazi Azadari Committee to make arrangements and monitor Azadari programmes in connection with the Chehlum of Shuhada-e-Karbala. Syed Shujaat Ali Bokhari was nominated as Convener, Nasir Abbas Karbalai as Secretary, and Syed Bu Ali Mehdi as Deputy Secretary for this Committee. The meeting also decided to observe the Youm-e-Hazrat Imam Moosa Kazmi as Youm-e-Noor on 7th Safar. Allama Syed Zahid Abbas Kazmi would be the Convener of Markazi Committee formed in this connection. Moreover, 3-day Ayyam-e-Gham would be observed to mark the Wisaal of the Holy Prophet (SAW) and Shahadat of Hazrat Imam Hassan Mujtaba (A.S.) from 27-29 Safar. Allama Syed Saqlain Ali Bokhari would act as Convener and Syed Tauseef Hussain Kazmi as Secretary for the Markazi Ayyam-e-Gham Committee formed for the purpose. Youm-e-Ehad will be observed throughout the country on 8th Rabiul Awwal Convener for the Committee formed in this connection would be Malik-e-Ashtar.

ISLAMABAD, April 12: Chairman TNFJ Political Cell, S.A. Bokhari has said we do not consider politics a “Shajar-e-Mamnooa” (a tree that is not to be touched) therefore would announce a policy in the larger interest of the nation and the country keeping to the given circumstances. He stated this while delivering presidential address at a meeting of TNFJ Cell office-bearers. He said the military leadership keeps the full right to hold Referendum because the highest court of the country has given them a three-year period. 

He said the TNFJ Political Cell gives importance to the programmes of Syed-us-Shuhada and Mohsin-e-Insaniyyat from 1st Muharram to 12th Rabiul Awwal because Islam is the basis of Pakistan, basis of Pakistan is La Illaha, while Hussain ibne Ali (A.S.) who the guiding force of independence struggle laid the foundation for La Illaha. He said law and order within the country should be ensured keeping in view the forthcoming Referendum because the enemy remains in search of such occasion. He said asking of President of Pakistan from the people: “Whether the nation and the country need him or not?” indicates that people are the real source of power and might, therefore, the same right should also be given to all leaders and political parties. They should have the right to choose any one and drive out any one they desire from politics. He asked is there any article in the Constitution under which anyone who was in the government twice or thrice would be not allowed to participate in election? He said this right is only with the people, if the people could vote, they could also seek explanation and if any person could vote then he also keeps the right to seek vote.

The resolutions adopted in the meeting condemned continued oppression and brutalities in Palestine and Kashmir and expressed concerned that Sharon was carrying out massacre of Muslims in Palestine and was ignoring all appeals against it, in India anti-Muslim riots were going on while basic rights were being snubbed in Kashsmir under POTA which is highly condemnable act. The resolution expressed complete solidarity with all oppressed nations, particularly the oppressed Muslims of Kashmir and Palestine. Another resolution demanded from the military leadership to ensure implementation of Anti-Terrorism Ordinance, arrest real terrorists while release all innocent people including the workers of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, who were behind the bars for the last three months, immediately. Yet another resolution reiterated the resolve to support any call of Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi for the solidarity, survival and defence of the country.

RAWALPINDI, April 11: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has demanded from the International Court of Justice to declare Sharon a war criminal and from the International Coalition against Terrorism to declare Israel a terrorist State. He stated this while talking to a representative delegation that called on him at the head of TNFJ Provincial Council Sarhad General Secretary Jawwad Hussain Jawwad here on Thursday. He said Israeli refusal to pull out its forces from Palestine despite strong demand from the United Nations, America, European Union, Russia and other countries is a slap in the face of super powers.

Agha Moosavi said if the super powers have any sense of dignity then they should prove that are falsely accused of being keeping double standards and Hippocratic attitude by taking strong action against Israel because if they can take action against Muslims on simple excuses then they should prove themselves as true representatives of all world nations by taking strong action against Israel. Their concern otherwise would prove to be crocodile tears, he said adding that if they failed to give up Hippocratic attitude then no power would be able to control anyone posing a great threat to whole of the mankind and leaving no justification for international organisations to exist.

The TNFJ chief said the Muslim Ummah should also wake up its honour and dignity. Had they practically displayed unity and brotherhood and seen the Palestine and Kashmir issues in the backdrop of issues faced by the Islamic World, then there would have been no massacre of oppressed Kashmiris, no anti-Muslim riots and live burning of Muslims in India. He said the Muslim Ummah should keep in mind that if these issues were not considered as the issues of Islamic World, and no help was extended to Palestinians and Kashmiris then they all would have to undergo a worst treatment.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said brutalities were being committed against Palestinians under the New World Order. He said a saying of the Masoom (A.S.) goes: A person who sees morning and evening without looking into the affairs of Muslims, has no right to be called a Muslim. He said India was also demanding withdrawal of Israeli troops from Palestine but she should also pull out her forces from the Held Kashmir and stop anti-Muslim riots. Strongly condemning the Zionist and Hindu brutalities going on in Palestine and Kashmir, he demanded from the super powers and international organisations to fulfil the norms of justice and fair-play and exert their pressure on Israel for recognition of independent Palestinian State. Terming the Pakistan Government’s condemnation of brutalities in Palestine and Kashmir and Israeli pullout from Israel a good step, he called upon the government to exert more pressure in this connection. He said all States including the OIC should be apprised of Pakistan’s policy. Pakistan should play an important role by adopting a joint strategy to help oppressed Kashmiris and Palestinians, he added.

RAWALPINDI, April 10, 2002: Secretary General Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan Syed Mazhar Ali Shah Advocate has said that holding of Referendum before Chehlum of the Martyrs of Karbala is regrettable. Government should avoid the policy of hurting the honour and sanctity of mourning days.

Speaking to the office-bearers of TNFJ Central Muharram Committee on Wednesday, Mazhar Ali Shah said inauguration of coordination campaign by president of Pakistan in connection with national referendum from the martyrdom anniversary of Beemar-e-karbala Hazrat Imam Zainul Abedeen (A.S) has mortified the Muslims of Pakistan. On the other, the president had signaled to hold referendum in the first week of May over which we suggested that it should be held after chehlum of the Martyrs of Karbala but the Chief Election Commissioner has set the date of April 30 – exactly before the chehlum of the Martyrs of Karbala, while there was no harm in giving the last date of the first week of May.

He said government itself is taking such steps which are mortifying, despite the words of president Pakistan not to hurt anyone. He said we, on every occasion, have cared for the respect and sanctity of the country and nation.

TNFJ Secretary General expressed great concern over the unjust policy of electronic and print media, which totally ignored the programs of the martyrdom anniversary of Beemar-e-Karbala Imam Zain ul Abedeen (A.S.). He said TNFJ termed the Anti-Terrorism Ordinance a sound step but the innocent people of TNFJ are behind bars for the last 3 months. The government should tell for which crime they are being punished and terrorists are roaming freely.

Pakistan president says that his heart weeps and he is anxious to go to poors but he doesn’t know anything about poors. In fact every ruler, by using the name of poors, has just jeered their poverty, he added.

Mazhar Ali Shah strongly demanded from the government to immediately set free the innocent detainees of TNFJ and to act upon the Anti-Terrorism Ordinance with honesty in true sense.

He said president, on one hand, claims to be religious while on the other the funs, which were made at Minar-e-Pakistan, Lahore are synonymous of joking the religion. There are no extremes in religion rather it gives the lesson of respect to humanity.

TNFJ Secretary General strongly demanded from Gen. Musharraf to avoid such statements and steps, which mortify any school of thought or party because the outcome of a Quranic verse is that “don’t abuse anyone’s God lest they revile your God”.

He said, in such a situation when Indian forces are on our borders; massacre of Muslims is going on in India and blood Holi is being played in held Kashmir with the blood of oppressed Kashmiris, such tasks have been initiated in Azad Kashmir which increased the restlessness of Shias, example of which is the mischief of khums Bill which is conspiracy to fan sectarianism. He said Zia government, at the issuance of Zakat Ordinance, accepting the Shia viewpoint, has exempted Shias from the deduction of Zakat. Afterwards, Ahl Sunnat brother, according to Hanfi Fiqh, have adopted Shias’ viewpoint by returning to the court. The viewpoint, which we had in Pakistan in connection with Zakat ordinance, same is in Azad Kashmir. Mazhar Ali Shah stressed upon the president and Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir to stop anti-shias steps and pay attention towards real tasks.

Terming the formation of Muharram Cells in Interior ministry and NWFP, as ‘nice step’, TNFJ secretary General has expressed concern over non-publicity of Muharram Cells in some provinces and said Azadars are facing much problems in these provinces.

An important session of TNFJ is to be summoned in near future on the special directives of Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafraiya Pakistan Agha Moosavi, in which national issues will be taken into consideration, told Mazhar Ali Shah.

RAWALPINDI, April 09: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said that the forbearance, patience and steadfastness displayed by Hazrat Imam Zainul Abedeen (A.S), bearing the difficulties of imprisonment and being fettered, not only made the karbala fruitful but his (A.S) extreme solemnity and greatness made acquainted the objective of Hussainiyat and caused Yazidiyat to face disgrace and infamy.

He made his remarks while addressing the concluding majlis of Ashra-e-Beemar-e-Karbala on the occasion of the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Zainul Abedeen (A.S) on Tuesday.

Agha Moosavi said that Hazrat Imam Sajjad (A.S) gave that great lesson against oppression, tyranny, barbarism and terrorism through justice, equity, honour, piety, bold steps and brave deeds example of which is unavailable. Imam’s brilliant holy face was bright evidence that brought up of Maktab-e-Uloom-e-Ilahi (school of divine knowledge) are like that.

Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafariya Agha Moosavi made clear that even today the fountain head of freedom movements being launched by oppressed nations and Muslim people especially of kashmiris’ and Palestinians’ is Hussainiyat.

TNFJ chief said colonial powers and its agents Zionists-Hindus are afraid of Hussainiyat, and kashmiri and Palestinian freedom fighters adopting the mazloomiat and acting upon the path of Hussainiyat are making clear to Hindus, Zionists and their patrons that “our colonies could be flattened; honour could be destroyed; corpses could be trampled but no one could stop or push us back from the achievement of our rights and right of self determination.”

RAWALPINDI, April 09: Majalis-e-Aza and Taboot-e-Beemar-e-Karbala processions on the concluding day of “Ashra Beemar-e-Karbala” announced by Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi were held and taken out in all the big cities and towns of the country including Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas on Tuesday. Ulema e karam, zakireen and waezeen highlighting the great sacrifices of Imam Sajjad (AS) for the protection of humanity, paid him rich homage. During processions, matmis, azadars, noha khawans and zanjeer zans extended condolence in the respected courts of bargah-e-risalat o wilayat. On this occasion special prayers were offered for the integrity of motherland, elevation of Islamic world as well as promotion of unity besides success of freedom movements of the oppressed of the world including Kashmiris and Palestinians.

Khateeb Fateh-e-Farat addressing a Majlis at Imambargah Zain ul Abideen under the arrangements of Anjuman Faiz-e-Panjtan said the uswah of Imam Ali ibne Al-Hussain (A.S.) would continue to be a constitutional document for independence loving nations forever. He said the life of Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) gives encouragement to the oppressed and have-nots the world over inculcating the spirit of independence in them. 

On this occasion, a resolution presented by Anjuman Faiz-e-Panjtan was passed by the congregation in which Indian atrocities against Kashmiris, anti-muslim riots in India and Indian barbarism under POTO was strongly condemned. Expressing full solidarity with freedom fighters, the resolution lamented over the silence of representative body of Islamic world – OIC. The resolution urged UN to give up its dual standard and implement its resolutions about Kashmir and Palestine. Bashir Hussain Niaz, Hassan Raza Kiani, wajihul Hassan Kazmi and Raza Kazmi also addressed the
Majlis.

Afterwards procession of Taboot Beemar-e-Karbala was brought out which was attended by a large number of mourners. The procession, during which mourners performed zanjeer zani, was culminated at Ali Masjid. 

A majlis was also held at Qasr e Imam Musa Kazim, Islamabad which was addressed by Allama Nisar Abbas (LHR), Allama Zawwar Hussain Madni (Jhang), Zakir Nasir Notak (Bhakkar), Zakir Najmul Hassan Notak and Zakir Zameer
Hussain. 

Speakers said the name of Hazrat Imam Sajjad (A.S.) is the sign of courage and bravery in the history of patience and steadfastness as he made great achievements as a preacher of Hussainiyyat in rooting out Yazidi conspiracies. A procession of Taboot was taken out following the majlis, which concluded at Imambargah after touching through different parts of the city. During procession zanjeer zani was performed at CDA Chowk.

Concluding majlis of Ashra Beemar-e-Karbala was also held at the residence of Jarrar Hussain Jafery, Dhok Ratta Rawalpindi, which was addressed by local speakers.

Taboot-e-Beemar-e-Karbala was also brought out following a majlis held at jamia tul Murtaza, Islamabad under the arrangements of Dukhtaraan-e-Islam Pakistan. Mohtarma Begum Zaki Haider Zaidi (late) besides many renowned speakers addressed the majlis.

Allama Mohsin Hamdani, Allama Sheikh Ghulam Askari, Sayyed Naseer sabzwari and Syed Baqir Naqvi addressed a majlis organized at Qasr-e-Abu Talib, Mughalabad. 

Thousands of participants of the majlis passed a resolution, presented by Syed Maskeen Shah, secretary General Anjuman Ghulaman-e-Abu Talib. The resolution termed the Referendum Decision of General Pervez Musharraf an important step towards democracy.

Allama Sayed Taqi An Naqvi addressed a majlis held at Darbar Shah Piyara, Chuhr Harpal, Rawalpindi. A resolution passed by the majlis congregation expressed great concern over the slow implementation of Presidential Anti-terrorism Ordinance. The resolution demanded from the government to set free all innocent persons including TNFJ activists who have been behind bars since three months. Another resolution expressed concern and sorrow over the biased policy of electronic and print media, which totally ignored the programs of Ashra Beemar-e-Karbala. 

Allama Mohsin Ali Hamdani – Organizer TNFJ Punjab, Syed Modassir Kazmi, Malik Temour and Zafar Kazmi addressed the majlis at Jamia tul Momineen, Satellite Town. Allama Basharat Hussain and Zakir Ayob Malang at Qasr-e-Khadija tul Kubra, Allama Nasir Naqvi at Qasr-e-Imam Ali Naqi Pind Sagriyal, Molana Sajjad Gardezi at Masjid Jafaria Dhalyala, Asif Kazmi at Qasr-e-Shabbir Dhok Sayyedan, Zakir Matloob Kazmi at addressed Qasr-e-Rubab. Taboot Processions were taken out from Sarafa Bazar, Rawalpindi and Mash’hadi House Darbar Shah Chan Charagh.

According to reports, majalis were held and processions were brought out in Peshawar, Multan, Lahore, Karachi, Muzaffarabad, Quetta, Gilgit, Skardu, D. I. Khan, D. G. Khan, Larkana, Bhakkar, Faisalabad, Haiderabad, Mianwali, Chakwal, Gujranwala, Attock, Sargodha, Bagh, Dadu, Kohat, Ziarat, Sheikhupura, Gujar khan and
Sakkhar.

RAWALPINDI, April 8: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said that Asswa Beemar-e-Karbala is the beacon of light for whole of mankind, and if it is followed then all problems faced by the oppressed world could be rooted out. He stated this in a special message issued on the occasion of Youm-e-Shahadat of Hazrat Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) that is being observed as “Youm Beemar-e-Karbala” throughout the country on Tuesday. He said at present, the oppressed the world over were facing host of problems and terrorism, international colonial powers and their Zionist and Hindu agents have made the life of Kashmiris and Palestinians difficult. We would have to adopt the seerat and character of Khanwada-e-Muhammad and Aal-e-Muhammad to get rid of their evil designs, he added.

Agha Moosavi said the Khanwada-e-Ismat and Taharat (A.S.) enjoys the supremacy all over the universe and the basic reason of it is that Almighty Allah and the Holy Prophet (SAW) were aware that only this Khanwada (A.S.) could bring Mirage for religion and Shariat and the greatest personality of them Hazrat Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) was termed the most desired person amongst the worshippers and those who love God. That was the reason he himself performed the highly qualitative attitude he spelled out in his worship, Duas and Munajaats.

The TNFJ chief said politics is not banned in Islam rather it is one of its department. He made it clear that Pakistan’s basic ideology is Islam that gives permission to seek suggestion in the affairs of the State. He said Gen. Pervez Musharraf has adopted a right course by announcing Referendum and those who oppose Referendum should take part in it courageously instead of boycotting it or creating any anarchic situation. They should give their suggestion in the light of their own will because when suggestion could be asked from family members in family affairs then there is no harm in seeking the suggestion from the people in national and State matters.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said when politicians could meet President of Pakistan and give their suggestion then why could President of Pakistan not seek the suggestion from his people about him? He advised the politicians not to make Referendum an issue rather they should give their suggestions by fully participating in it: they can give this suggestion in its favour or against it. Agha Moosavi reiterated his demand that date for Referendum should be fixed after the Chehlum of Shuhada-e-Karbala to ensure full participation of the people.

Hojjatul Islam Syed Hussain Muqaddasi addressing a Majlis at Masjid and Imambargah Jamia-tul-Masheer Wah Cantt. said the name of Hazrat Imam Sajjad (A.S.) is the sign of courage and bravery in the history of patience and steadfastness as he made great achievements as a preacher of Hussainiyyat in rooting out Yazidi conspiracies. He paid rich tributes to Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi for announcing to observe the days of Shahadat and Wiladat of Masoomin (A.S.) with due religious solemnity.

An annual Zuljinah procession was taken out from Bayadgar-e-Karbala at Gorha Syedan near Sawan Camp District Islamabad under the auspices of Syed Maghfoor Hussain Shah. Later addressing a Majlis-e-Aza Khateeb Fateh-e-Farat said Islam is the fruit of exemplary sacrifices presented in Karbala while Pakistan was created in the name of Islam, therefore, out rulers and politicians should give due respect to the remembrance of Mashaheer-e-Islam during the Ayyam-e-Aza. He called upon the government to fix the date of National Referendum after the Chehlum of Shuhada-e-Karbala keeping in view the sanctity of Ayyam-e-Aza and to ensure full participation of the people. Zakir Karam Hussain Shah, Maulana Tawakkal, poet Naqqash Naqvi, Zakir Asad Raza and other Zakireen also addressed the Majlis.

A ladies Majlis was held in Islamabad in connection with the Shahadat of Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) on the occasion of “Ashra Beemar-e-Karbala” under the auspices of Begum Allama Zaki Haider Zaidi (Late). Zakira Syeda Rakhshanda Zawwar addressed the Majlis while Begum Azra Javaid performed Marsia Khwani. Matamdari was also performed after the Majlis.

A Majlis in connection with “Ashra Beemar-e-Karbala” was held at Imambargah Nasir Al-Aza Jhangi Jadeed Rawalpindi. Khateeb Fateh-e-Farat, Zakir Fida Hussain Pidhrar, Zakir Riaz Hussain Shah addressed the Majlis while Hassan Raza Kiyani, Waseem Abbas and Rais Abbas Rizvi presented Salam and Noha. Alam Sarkar-e-Wafa was taken out after the Majlis while Dasta Sada-e-Hussaini Muslim Town, Matmi Dasta Farogh-e-Azadari Dhoke Ratta, Matmi Dasta Qasr-e-Shabbir Dhoke Syedan, Matmi Dasta Qasr-e-Abu Talib Mughalabad, Matmi Dasta Sakhi Shah Piyara Chaur Harpal, and Matmi Dasta Shah Chan Chiragh performed Matamdari. A Majlis was also held at Ali Masjid Satellite Town under the auspices of Late Syed Nazar Hussain Shah Kazmi father of Dr. Ali Raza Kazmi and Hassan Raza Kazmi. Khateeb Fateh-e-Farat and poet Bashir Hussain Niaz addressed the Majlis.
