Mukhtar Organization protest rally on Jinnah Avenue for restoration of Imam Sadiq as Shrine
Islamabad, 12th April, 2026: On the occasion of the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Jafar Sadiq, the global Ashra Sadiq Aal Muhammad, established by Quaid Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Mousavi, and the renewal of the pledge under the Chief of Tehreek Nifaz Fiqh Jafaria Allama Agha Syed Hussain Muqaddasi, mourning gatherings and programs were held across the country.
A mourning protest rally organized by Mukhtar Organization Islamabad started from the National Press Club Islamabad and, passing through Jinnah Avenue and Shaheed-e-Millat Secretariat, concluded at the National Press Club.
The rally was led by Co-Chairman Mukhtar Organization Hassan Kazmi, Central President Syed Samar Naqvi, Jameel Qureshi, Syed Matee-ul-Hasnain Kazmi, TNFJ Central Coordination Secretary for Federal Capital Zulfiqar Ali Raja, President Tehreek Nifaz Fiqh Jafaria Federal Capital Allama Riffat Naqvi, Nazim-ul-Umour Allama Syed Fakhar Abbas Abidi, Supreme Commander Mukhtar Force Volunteers Ali Aujad Naqvi, Chief Commander MFV Federal Area Bawa Syed Nazakat Shah Kazmi, Allama Ijlal Haider, Allama Anwar Kazim Advocate, Khateeb Azadari Allama Naseer Sabzwari, Allama Shuja Gardezi, Chairman MSO Syed Muhammad Abbas Kazmi, Professor Ghulam Abbas Haideri, President MSO Islamabad Syed Aoun Kazmi, and other scholars and leaders.

Addressing the rally, Co-Chairman Mukhtar Organization Syed Hassan Kazmi said that the Muslim Ummah is indebted to Imam Jafar Sadiq, whose students became leading jurists, with Imam Abu Hanifa at the forefront. He said that the destruction and desecration of the sacred shrine of Imam Sadiq in Jannat al-Baqi has become a challenge to the honor of the Ummah.
He stated that the aggression of imperial powers against Islamic countries is the result of deviation from the teachings of Jafar Sadiq. He said that Zionist forces attacked Iran, but Iran crushed their malicious intentions with courage and bravery. Hassan Kazmi said that if the Muslim world accepts the leadership of Pakistan, a nuclear-capable power, the enemies of humanity will be defeated. He paid tribute to the efforts of Prime Minister Pakistan Mian Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for peace in the region.
In the resolution passed on the occasion, the United Nations and international organizations were urged to pressure the Saudi government for the reconstruction of the sacred shrines of Jannat al-Baqi and Jannat al-Mualla. It was stated that the restoration of the sanctity of Jannat al-Baqi is linked with the revival of the lost dignity of the Muslim Ummah.
The resolution also demanded that the OIC establish a special university in the name of Imam Jafar Sadiq for the Muslim world so that students can acquire modern education. It reaffirmed the commitment to continue the peaceful struggle for the sacred shrines of Jannat al-Baqi by following the teachings of Quaid Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Mousavi.
The resolution also reiterated the pledge to uphold the protection of Wilayat Ali, the mourning of Hussain ibn Ali, the sanctity of the descendants of the Prophet, respect for religious authority, and commitment to central leadership, while safeguarding the mission of Zainab and Zain-ul-Abideen.
On this occasion, strong condemnation was expressed over the terrorist attacks in Hazara Ganji Quetta, where three local vegetable vendors were martyred, and in Jiwani where three coast guards were martyred. These incidents were described as actions of forces afraid of the international talks in Islamabad, namely Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khawarij.
The resolution clarified that terrorists are enemies of humanity, not of Shia or Sunni, and that there is no sectarian conflict in Pakistan nor will it be allowed.
Later, in the mourning protest rally, Central Matami Haideri Daira, Matami Dasta Dua-e-Zainab G-6 Line, and Matami Dasta Soz-e-Karbala performed recitations and mourning rituals.
