Allah Almighty has bestowed honour, fazeelat and blessing to this month. 

On 10th of this month the 11th successor of holy prophet Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him & his progeny)


Hazrat Imam Hassan Askari (A.S)



bin Hazrat Imam Ali Naqi (A.S) was born in Medina al Munawwara in the year 232 A.H

Abu Hamza Nasir al Khadim Said: “I heard Hazrat Abu Muhammad (al Hassan al Askari) speaking on more than one occasion to his servants in their own languages. Among them were Turks, men from Byzantium and form Saqaliba (in the Caucasus). I was born in Medina. He did not show himself to anyone until Hazrat Abu al Hassan (al Haadi) died, and no one saw him how is this?

I was saying this to myself. He (Imam) came up to me and said: “Allah has separated His proof (to the world) from the rest of his creatures and has given him the knowledge of every thing. He knows languages; genealogies and events if it was not for that, there would be no difference between the proof and those who are given the proof”.

Imam Hasan Askari (A.S) the father of Imam Al-Asr (A.S) saheb-azzaman (Controller of the era) (Ajja lallahu Farajahu) was an embodiment of knowledge, tolerance, patience, endurance, honor, dignity, generosity, courage, bravery and valour. During Imam’s 28 years of lifetime he was imprisoned many times by Abbasid Caliph Motamid who ruled for 23 years. Historian Masoodi has evaluated the number of brutal killings and murders during his reign above 5 lakh.

Imam once wrote in his letter to Ali ibne Babweh Qummi:

“Praise be to Allah. As you are form our shias so I advise you:

• Be pious and virtuous
• Forgive and pardon the mistakes of people
• Suppress your anger
• Do sila-e-Rehmi (do good with your relatives)
• Help the needy
• Get acquaintance with Holy Quran
• Establish prayer (salat/namaz) and perform ibadat

follow my commandments and induce others to do so.

Some Aamal of this glorious and blessed day are reported which are as under:

• To keep fast;
• Perform aamal -e – Khair;
• Recite Ziarat-e-Jamia, which is as under:

“Peace be upon you O the messenger of Allah. Peace be upon you O the prophet of Allah.
Peace be upon O the best creature of Allah and the trustee of his Wahi (revelation). Peace be upon
you O my maula (master) O Ameer ul Momeneen peace be upon you O my muala (master), you are the proof
of Allah over His creatures and the door of His knowledge and testamentary executor of His prophet and
caliph in his ummah after him. Curse of Allah be upon those who usurped your right and occupied your seat.
I am free of them and their group (companions/loving ones) to you. Peace be upon you O the Fatima Zahra
Batool (A.S) Peace be upon you O the beauty and grace of the ladies of the World peace be upon you O the
daughter of the Prophet of the Lord of the worlds, blessings of Allah be upon you and him (your father).
Peace be upon you O the mother of Hasan and Hussain Curse of Allah be upon those who usurped your right
and prevented you from which was regarded Halal for you by Allah. I am free of them and their group
(companion) to you. Peace be upon you O my maula (master) O Aba Muhammad Hassan Zaki. Peace be upon you
O my maula (master). Curse of Allah be upon those who killed you and took the oath of allegiance and went
along with (mawiyah) in your matter. I am free of them and their companions to you. Peace be upon you O
my maula (master) O Aba Abdillah Al Hussain ibne Ali. Blessings of Allha be upon you and your father and
your grandfather Muhammad. Blessings of Allah be upon him and his progeny. Curse of Allah be upon those
who considered your murder Halal (legal), and curse of Allah be upon those who killed you and regarded
your disgrace lawful, and curse of Allah be upon their group and their followers, and curse of Allah
be upon those who planned for your murder. I am free of them to Allah and to you. Peace be upon you O
my maula (Lord) O Aba Muhammad Ali ibnel Hussain, peace be upon you O my maula (master) O Aba Jafer
Muhammad ibne Ali, peace be upon you O my maula (Lord) O Aba Abdillah Jafer ibne Muhammad, peace be
upon you O my maula (Lord) O Abal Hassan Moosa ibne Jafer, Peace be upon you O my maula (Lord) O Abal
Hassan Ali ibne Moosa, peace be upon you my maula (Lord) O Aba Jafer Muhammad ibne Ali Peace be upon
you O my maula (master) O Abal Hassan Ali ibne Muhammad peace be upon you O my maula (Lord) O Aba
Muhammad al Hassan ibne Ali Peace be upon you O my maula (Lord) O Abal Qasim Muhammad ibne al Hassan
Saheb azzaman (Controller of the era) blessings of Allah be upon you and your pure and chaste progeny.
O my Imam be our intercessors in erasing our sins and obliterating our faults. I believe in Allah and
what was revealed to you. And I love the last person of yours as I love the 1st one. And I am free
of Jibbt and Taghoot and laat and Uzza. O my Imams my sulah is with one with whom you have sulah and
my war is with one with whom you have war. And I am the enemy of one who is your enemy and friend
of one who is your friend till the day of Judgment, and curse of Allah be upon those who oppressed
you and usurped your right. And curse of Allah be upon their companions and their followers and
their coreligionist and I am free of them to Allah & to you”.

Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan the main stream representative organization of
Maktab-e-Tashayyo observes this day as youm-ul-Askari through out Pakistan including Azad Kashmir
and Northern areas With honour and reverence in which special dua’as are being prayed for the
eminence of Islam, solidarity with Kashmir, Palestine and oppressed nations and for the integrity
and development of beloved country.

It was Rabi ussaani 15 when Naqa-e-prophet Hazrat Saleh (She-Camel of Hazrat Saleh) was came
out of the mountain as the people of Samoud to whom the prophet Saleh was sent by Allah asked him for
this as a proof of his prophet-hood.

“Show us a sign, if what you say be true”

after the she-camel came out the mountain Hazrat Saleh (A.S) said to his people.

“A clear proof has come to you form your Lord. Here is Allah’s she-camel a sign for you”.

“She shall have her share of water as you have your on an appointed day”

“Leave her to graze at will in Allah’s land and don’t molest her, lest you incur a woeful punishment”.

But they (people of Samoud) hamstrang the she-camel and then slaughtered her. Her baby camel ran to the mountain and cried out in heart-rending voice. There upon an earthquake seized them and they were prostrated in their dwellings as though they had never prospered there.

This she- camel was ten fold big than an ordinary she-camel and that mountain from which it was came out is in Syria.
