| It has been tried to make man known with this reality in heavenly and revealed laws and books that they all are the progeny of one father and mother. |

‘O people, have fear of your Lord Who created you from a single soul and from that soul He created his mate, and through them He bestrewed the earth with countless men and women’ (Sura Nisa)
Men and women, no one has any supremacy over other; white and black, color and caste could not be a reason of excellence. Nothing can distinguish oneself from other.

‘O people we have created you from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes that you might get to know one another’ (Al- Hujurat)
Verily the only thing in the sight of Islam, which can be a reason of excellence of any person or society, is Eman (faith), Taqwa (righteousness), knowledge and sagacity. |

| ‘Allah raises to high ranks those that have faith and knowledge among you’ (Al- Mujadalah) |
| A saying of Holy Prophet goes: |

| It becomes know that faith, knowledge, wisdom and righteousness have been regarded the touchstone of supremacy and excellence. This is the great favour of Islam that it has made the touchstone of reward and punishment only deed. Whoever does good will deserve the reward of Allah. |

‘Be they men or women, those that embrace the faith and do what is right we will surely grant them a happy life’
(Al-
Nahl).
(Taqwa) piety and righteousness has been termed the objective of human life either of man or woman. Taqwa is a derivative of ‘Wiqaya’, which means protection and abstinence. In Islamic law, it means to abstain oneself from every such thing which is harmful for hereafter.
| Therefore Quran-e-Natiq Hazrat Imam Jafer-e-sadiq (AS) said when He was asked the meaning of piety and abstinence: |

‘Where there (Allah) enjoins, obey it and where there (He) forbids, refrain from it’ (Safina-tul-Behar, vol #2)
Allama Majlesi said following are the four kinds of righteousness:
1-Wara Tabe’een: to abstain from forbidden things
(moharramat) |
| 2-Wara Saleheen: to abstain from doubtful things so not be polluted with Haram |
3-Wara Muttaqeen: to desist from permissible things (mubah) so that not be involved in Haram.e.g not to inquire people’s condition, lest backbiting be committed.
| 4-Wara salekeen: to turn face from Ghair Allah, lest valuable life wasted in obscene and absurd deeds even though there is no fear of Haram from this. |
And Khanwada-e-Muhammad and Aal-e-Muhammad (peace of Allah be upon them) is that greatest, most distinguished and most eminent family which bestowed excellence and elevation to ilm-o-amal, piety and abstinence. And the great figure who was given the status of axle and center of the same family’s introduction, is Hazrat Fatima-tuz-Zahra salam ullah alaiha, evidence of whose sanctity, chastity, abstinence and piety was given by Aaya-e-Tat’heer
| ‘Verily Allah wishes to keep away the impurities from you “AhleBayt” and keep you purified as is the right of purity’ |
| Allah The Exalted says about Khatmi-e-Martabat (PBUH&HP)

| ‘Verily in the Apostle of Allah you have a good example’ |
Whose life is the best example for the whole humanity. His daughter is that greatest lady about whom Hakeem ul Ummat Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal says:

‘The ideal of guidance towards the perfection of all mothers is Batool
(A.S)’ |
Mother is such eminent personality about whom the saying of Hazrat Eisa (Jesus Christ) has been mentioned by Allah in his Holy Book:

‘He has made me dutiful to my mother and not arrogant (insolent) and unblest
(miserable)'(Sura Mariam)’ |
To do good with mother is most preferable. Therefore Holy Prophet enjoined thrice repeatedly to do good with mother while fourthly with father.
| He (PBUH&HP) was asked as to who has greater rights: father or mother? Last portion of that tradition is: |
| ‘Your Mother’ (Mustadrik, p # 629) |
Then one could imagine the status of that personality who is called ‘Umme Abeeha’ by the prophet of Islam
and she is only Fatimah (A.S). This is a time of concern for those who consider woman one having low status, that heaven has not been placed at the feet of any man but

| ‘Paradise lies at the feet of mother’ |
Islam granted woman honour, respect and dignity and she consequently achieved illustrious status then Holy Prophet kissed the hands of His daughter Fatimah (A.S).
To acquire knowledge according to revealed book is the duty of that woman who had been sent to Gore (grave) instead of Goad (lap). And woman got this honour, nobility and respect due to Hazrat Fatimah (A.S).
Jamadi us Saani 20, 614 year, is the blessed day of Hazrat Fatimah tuz Zahra’s birth. This is ‘Youme-Hurmat-e-Niswan’ (women honour day). It is the day when woman was granted protection. It is that great day when with the bright roar of Kalma-e-Tauheed’ La ilaha Illallah’ the veil of quite dark and moonless night of ignorance tore to pieces
. the night in which infidels and polytheist were busy in worshipping of their own carved stones; all idols broke to pieces. The dark night of ignorance in which girls were being trampled due to all types of biases; when the pits and graves were swallowing the living bodies of girls. From the same period of darkness sun and moon of women being, rose in the shape of Fatimah tuz Zahra (A.S). Prestige of women got excellence in the face of Fatimah Zahra (A.S) and she stepped towards the goal of blessing and honour by turning face towards the sky. Excellence of the women became the beauty of Quranic verses and she got such a status by the command of Allah that to sacrifice camel at her feet and to pay thanks in the happiness of her birth. Enemy of Rasool failed with the arrival of Hazrat Fatimah Zahra (A.S). Proclaimer of Wahi (revelation) proclaimed:

| ‘(O Muhammad) we have given you Kauser (abundance of progeny which would remain after you) Pray to your Lord and sacrifice to Him. No doubt your enemy will remain childless’. (Al-Kauser) |
So this is that Holy religion which bestowed her elevation and granted her all rights and privileges. But if she at present is being deprived of her these rights and privileges it is due to colonial powers, which is using women as a tool.
What can be the status of women more than this that Islam considers the final stage of excellence of man (paradise) connected with the pleasure of mother? Heaven lies at the feet of mother. This is the madel of pride, honour and distinction awarded to her. The rights, which have been fixed for mother in Islam, are due to those sufferings, which she bears for the broughtup of her son’s body and soul. and grows him up after undergoing hardships, and then delivered him to the society. So to say that she is “Man Maker”. Obviously only that mother possess all these rights who performs her duties completely as a mother; and brings into existence a useful and most brilliant person through entire struggle, exertion and devotion. The mother who for her indolence with the purpose of participating in centres of impiety and sinfulness evades from bringing up her children commits an unforgivable crime, and could never be prospered with the rights and duties of mother.
Great personalities for their great success are under obligation to their those mothers who performed their responsibilities in an excellent manner and played a significant and basic role in their brought up by following Islam.
Hazrat Fatimah tuz Zahra (A.S) as a mother of Hasnain (A.S), Zaineb (A.S) and Umme Kulsoom (A.S) is the lady who brought up daring warriors of Deen, and who is capable of leading and ruling humanity. For that very reason Holy Prophet said:

| ‘Fatimah is the Mistress of the ladies of the world’ |

‘ Being light of the sight of Rahmatul lil Alameen (the blessing for the universe)
who is the first and the last leader of mankind. The lady (wife) of the crown bearer of the Quranic verse “Hal Ata”(Hazrat Ali A.S)
The chosen one (Murtaza), The remover of difficulties (Mushkil Koosha) The lion of God (Shere Khuda). The mother of the centre of love, mother of the guiding spirit of the caravans of
love. |
‘Lets vow on the occasion of this blessed day to adopt Uswa-e-Rasool and Uswa-e-Batool
(PBUT)
only this is the guarantee of entire humanity’s salvation and
blessing.
