SPECIAL MESSAGE OF QUAID-E-MILLAT-E-JAFARIYA Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi on the occasion of Hafta-e-Wahdat-O-Akhuwwat 1426 Hijree (Unity & Brotherhood Week) in connection with Wiladat Ba-Sa’adat of Khatmi-e-Martabat (SAW) & Imam Jafar As-Sadiq (A.S.)

Brethren in Islam,

When there was nothing save Allah Who said:

I was a hidden treasure, then I desired to be recognized thus O
Muhammad I created you.

Hence a saying of holy Prophet (S.A.W.) goes:

The first which Allah created was my Noor

This Noor remained
veiled in different veils of Allah for thousands of years busy in divine
worship, then this holy noor by passing through chaste loins and purified wombs
entered the loin of Hazrat Abdul Muttalib (A.S.). Later, this noor was divided
into two equal parts trusting one to loin of Abdullah (A.S.) and the other to
Abu Talib (A.S.)’s. Hitherto, all people were in ignorance; unrest and
disturbance were rife; war, darkness and cheating were prevalent; there was no
light anywhere; leaves had become yellow; trees dried; signs of guidance gone
erased; ill-luck and misfortune were common; world was providing means of wrath
for its inhabitants giving fruit of mischief and tumult.

In such a time, sun of prophethood and apostleship rose from the sky of Makkah
on 12 Rabi-ul Awwal and according to authentic traditions it was 17 Rabi-ul-Awwal.
Idols of Ka’bah fell face foremost, fourteen parapets of Tak-e-Kisra gave
evidence of Muhammad (S.A.W.)’s prophethood by prostrating, there was light
everywhere, the final representative of Allah appeared whose good tidings was
given by 124,000 prophets and messengers except one. He (S.A.W.) introduced
himself through his character and good manners for forty years in such a style
that even the enemies acknowledged that they have not seen such a Sadiq
(truthful) till today.

Ameer-ul-Momineen Hazrat Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) says in sermon no 95 of
Nahjul Balagha that holy Prophet (S.A.W.)’s place (Makkah) is the best place,
his place of appearance (Medinah) is the most honorable site. It is a treasure
of respect and excellence, hearts of pious people have been inclined towards
him, their eyes have been turned to him. For his sake, Allah annihilated
long-established malice, and cooled enmity and hatred, generated love,
friendship and fraternity among believers.

Therefore, Seal of Prophets (S.A.W.) practically created brotherhood between
Mohajireen and Ansar, made them brothers to each other and said to Ali (A.S.),
“you are my brother in the world and the hereafter”. Fifth son of the same Ali (A.S.)
and descendant of Nabi (S.A.W.) and Ali (A.S.) Quran-e-Natiq Hazrat Imam Jafar
Sadiq (A.S.) adopted his seerat and character, and disseminated Deen-o-Shariat
in the whole world by lighting lamps of knowledge and wisdom. Mashaheer like
Jabir bin Hayan and Imam Abu Hanifa had the honor to be his pupils. As holy
Prophet (S.A.W.) is Rasool-e-Sadiq-o-Ameen, fountainhead of all praiseworthy
qualities and source of truthfulness and trustworthiness, similarly his truthful
successors are adorned with these high laudable traits.

Hazrat Imam Jafar Sadiq (A.S.) is the sixth refulgent sun of the sky of imamat
who also was born during these days. Therefore, by celebrating universally the
Week of Unity and Brotherhood from Rabi-ul-Awwal 12-17 this should be proved
that the religion which was preached by holy Prophet (S.A.W.), and his truthful
successors, one of whom is Hazrat Imam Jafar Sadiq (A.S.), told the world that
Islam is that divine law to resolve problems of all human societies, which if
followed, we could not only get rid of oppression and barbarism rather get all
problems being faced by human world solved, besides getting Kashmir, Palestine,
Afghanistan and Iraq freed from clutches of batil.

We all are duty bound to avoid every kind of oppression and injustice because a
saying of holy Prophet (S.A.W.) goes that a momin (believer) should consider
himself a protector of people’s lives and riches.

We, on this auspicious occasion, reiterate our resolve to spend all our energies
with sincerity and honesty for restoration of justice and equity and demolition
of repression and barbarism by making seerat and character of Prophet of Islam (S.A.W.)
and his truthful descendant Hazrat Imam Jafar Sadiq (A.S.) beacon of light for
us, and would continue expressing hatred for oppressor and support for the
oppressed.
