Human being is the most eminent of the created
beings, and truthfulness is the most supreme of Nafsania, Ikhlaqia and milkia
qualities.

اتقو الله و كونوا مع الصادقين
Fear Allah and be with the truthful

The word Sadiqeen (truthful) is derived from Sidq which means truthfulness
and making one’s words true. This is a divine quality

من أصدق من الله حديثا
Who is more truthful than Allah in words?

From Adam (A.S.) to Khatam (SAW) all prophets and messengers were
adorned with this quality. Allah says:

كان من الصديقين
He was of those who speak truth

Khatmi-e-Martabat (SAW) not only doubled its comeliness and beauty
rather bestowed it excellence and zenith. This is why the Arab world was used to
call him (SAW) Ameen (trustworthy) and Sadiq (truthful) even before his
announcement of prophethood. There goes a saying of holy Prophet (SAW) that a
man who has these six qualities in him I am surety for his paradise: he who
speaks truth, makes good his words, remains honest in everything, keeps his eyes
safe from the one from whom he has to observe pardah, lets not his hands to go
to wrong things, shows regard for his honour.

It is narrated from Quran-e-Natiq Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S.) that he whose tongue
speaks truth his act is pious, he whose intention is good his livelihood is
more, and he who does good with his family his life is long.

Allah says:

والذي جاء بالصدق و صدق به أولئك هم المتقون
He who brings truth and stands with the side of truthfulness they are
the pious

Rabi-ul-Awwal is the blessed month of honor and dignity. 17th of
this month is the auspicious day of birth of the Seal of Prophets holy Prophet
(SAW) and his truthful descendant Hazrat Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S.).

Patras Bustani writes that Jafar bin Muhammad As-Sadiq bin Zain-ul-Abideen
(A.S.) was of the elders of Ahlul Bayt (A.S.). He was truthful in speech, for
this reason his appellation is Sadiq. His excellence is great, he had ideologies
in algebra and shimia, and his student Jasbir bin Hayan had compiled a book
consisted of 1,000 leaves.

Hazrat Imam Abu-Hanifa, Imam-e-Fiqh of Ahl-e-Sunnat, says that he did not see
anyone more knowledgeable in jurisprudence than Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S.). Once
he on the request of Mansour Abbasi compiled 40 important problems of
jurisprudence in order to present in front of all in the court of Mansour and so
that answers of all could be got. Imam (A.S.) uttered answers of these problems
with differences and sayings in such a manner that all people of the court
admitted his greatness that he is more knowledgeable and more acquainted with
differences and opinions from all. (Manaqib Imam Abu-Hanifa Vol: 1)

Truthfulness is fountainhead of all good qualities and foundation of piety.
Under this Quranic verse إعدلوا هو أقرب للتقوىJustice is nearest to
piety. Allah says about the holy Prophet (SAW):

أمرت لأعدل بينكم
I have been commanded to do justice among you

On the same basis, life of human beings is established on justice,
and Islam has given preference to the path of moderation over everything, urges
to do justice with weak and have-nots. Today whole world is facing crisis for
lack of justice. This all is a doing of colonial powers and their allies and
agents who have snatched tranquility of whole world upsetting peace. No part of
world is free from their reach. They had already made lives of Kashmiris and
Palestinians hell and now have opened the bazaar of massacre in Thailand,
Nigeria and other countries; by staging the drama of Washington-New York
incident it made Afghanistan a hub of oppression making life for Afghanis hell,
then in the pretext of weapons of mass destruction destructed towns and cities
of Iraq, leaving them in ruins; did not care for holiest cities like
Najaf-e-Ashraf, Kazmain Sharifain and Samra, and still today these cities are
being bombed and their honour and dignity is being trampled; committed such
atrocities against prisoners that include elderly people, young, women and
children, in Iraq and Afghanistan jails in the name of embracing them with
freedom which shook the whole humanity. Colonial chief plus allies have written
a new history of oppressions refreshing the remembrance of Pharaoh, Nimrod,
Abu-Jehl and Yazid – even beasts protect their species, this is not humanity but
Satanism.

Steps of US-led coalition that came to view through media are great disgrace of
humanity, and disgrace of humanity is tantamount to Allah’s disgrace. Today Bush
says in his interview with Al-Hurrah and Al-Arabiya channels that act of a few
soldiers is not an act of American nation, the same words were uttered by us at
that time when he blamed Muslims for terrorism that an act of a person could not
be called an act of whole nation, but Bush attacked Muslim countries. Today
congress condemned Iraqi prisoner abuse and said that why this was concealed
from them when it happened in 2003, they demanded resignation of Defense
Minister and some of the members said there is no justification for his rule. We
were the first to say that if Bush and Blair keep even a little regard for honor
and dignity of humanity they should at once extend their resignations. In
meeting with Jordan’s King Abdullah, Bush apologized but he should have known
that there are two kinds of rights: rights of Allah and rights of people. He
committed oppression against people, therefore Allah will not forgive him unless
the prisoners and their families would not forgive him.

United Nations also keeps hostile, hypocritical and cunning behavior towards
Islamic world playing a role of slave girl of colonial chief United States. Had
it fulfilled the demands of justice, not only problems of Kashmir and Palestine
would have solved but also the international taghoot had not courage to attack
Afghanistan and Iraq. If UN wants to restore its reputation then it will have to
take steps for withdrawal of occupying coalition forces from Iraq, establishment
of peace, and set up of a government according to the wishes of Iraqis, while
ICC should take suo moto notice of war crimes of Bush and his allies punishing
them.

Now, modesty of OIC should awake because her silent policy has increased the
problems and worries of Islamic world while Muslim rulers and leaders should
adopt a strong, solid and joint policy for protection and defense of dignity of
humanity and achievement of rights of oppressed by coming out of shells of sects
and states.

من أصبح أو أمسى و لم يهتم لأمور المسلمين فليس
بمسلم
He who sees his morning and evening in this state that he cares not
affairs of Muslims, he has no right to be called a Muslim

While believers are those who respect whole humanity, ergo we would
like to make clear on the auspicious occasion of Unity & Fraternity Week and
birth anniversaries of Sadqain (A.S.) that we consider oppression against
oppressed and have-nots as injustice against ourselves, and we reiterate our
resolve considering their problems as problems of world of humanity that unity
and fraternity of Muslim Ummah and peace and integrity of beloved motherland
will be given preference over everything.
