RAWALPINDI, Pakistan – March 25: Chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, has said Azadari of Imam Mazloom (AS) is that universal protest against Yazid of every era whereby the arrogant world is still shivering.
Agha Moosavi was talking to a representative delegation that called on him at the head of Chairman Tehreek Tahaffuz-e-Azadari Pakistan, Allama Agha Ali Hussein Najafi. He said struggle aimed at self-respect of the nation and the country, protection and defense of Deen-o-Shariat and humanity and achievement of liberation, freedom and rights is felicity, and utilizing all energies for it and protecting honor and dignity from trampling is not terrorism but Jehad-e-Azeem (Great War). He said Colonial protagonist US invasion of Iraq kicking out the protest and opposition of entire humanity and world opinion with scorn is not only a flat violation of UN Charter and principles but also contempt of humanity and an open act of terrorism. He said the US did not respect feelings of even its own people and today the table is turning over US itself as well as the resolution of Geneva Convention is also coming to its mind; one feels the pain after being hit. He said dual standard of International Terrorist has become manifest to whole world which destructed Afghanistan first, and those held by it are at present facing oppression, barbarism and torture at Guantanamo Bay and are deprived of human rights, they were disgraced by their display at electronic media and still today America is not ready to recognize them war criminals.
In the precarious situation, Agha Moosavi said, whole human world should take solid steps to get US-imposed war on Iraq stopped; otherwise turn may be of them. He said today German Foreign Minister also stated that US could invade other countries after Iraq in the name of disarming them, therefore, European Countries must form a joint army to confront it. Agha Moosavi said the 250/300-paged report presented to President Bush by US intelligence agencies shows that next American target after Iraq will be Iran tagged by it as axis of evil and fundamentalist. He said colonial trica: US-India-Israel is bent upon to destruct the whole world for its interests. The TNFJ chief said Arab Leagues condemnation of America as an aggressor is not enough but practical steps to get it punished through UN and ICC are needed. OIC should also summon emergent session, and UN if it desires its existence then immediately cease US membership besides giving it stern punishment. Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafariya Agha Moosavi said whole mankind is under obligation to spend all its energies in getting US invasion on oppressed Iraqi people stopped. RAWALPINDI, Pakistan March 25: In accordance with announcement made by Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, martyrdom anniversary of Syedus Sajideen Hazrat Imam Zainul Abideen (AS) will be observed as 3-day Ayyam-e-Beemar-e-Karbala from 23 to 25 with religious fervor and zeal throughout Pakistan. Addressing the Central Ayyam-e-Beemar-e-Karbala Committee session, its convener Syed Tayyab Al-Hussaini appealed all countrymen to express hatred and condemn US invasion on Iraq by expressing solidarity with the oppressed world by fully participating in the Majalis and Processions of Ayyam Beemar-e-Karbala, and pray for the end of problems being faced by Muslims and for promotion and integrity of Pakistan. In the meeting, Conveners for four provinces including Azad Kashmir and Northern areas were nominated to organize the programs on country level. END

RAWALPINDI, March 23: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said there are no geographic boundaries in Islam rather all Muslims are one and their grieves are common. He stated this while addressing a Majlis-e-Aza on the occasion of Pakistan Day here on Sunday. He said Islam is the basis and Asaas of motherland Pakistan and as Moeenuddin Chishti had said basis of Kalma-e-Tauheed is the personality of Hussain ibne Ali (A.S.), therefore we shall have to adopt Hussainiyyat to turn Pakistan as an Islamic welfare State. He said the Pakistan Resolution was adopted 63 years ago on March 23. At that time hearts of Indian Muslims were full with feelings and Pakistan came into being within seven years owing to their mutual understanding, unity, brotherhood and struggle for independence, he said adding that purpose of which was to restore justice and fair-play, safeguard the rights of all on the basis of equality. Agha Moosavi said Pakistan was then being considered citadel of Islam and turned out to be an atomic power by the grace of God. He lamented that after Quaid-i-Azam, the country was taken over by dictators and tyrant rulers who pitched brother against brother and groomed biases. He said Muslims were divided into Arab and Ajam as a result of which they scattered here and there while the international colonial powers made good use of this situation. They first targeted Afghanistan in the garb of New York incident so as to complete the agenda of New World Order and were now beating up already battered Iraq. He said oppressed Iraqi people are in surrounded in flames while bombs and missiles are raining over them. He said there is fire all around Iraq and it is tragic that Muslim States are not ready to cooperate and help Iraq. He said it is tough time for Muslim Ummah and oppressed nations because chief of the international colonial powers and their Zionist and Hindu agents were avenging their old enmities with an only objective to die down the Muslim spirit of jehad. The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said at present the survival of oppressed and Muslim States is in danger and the real cause of their recession is that they have given up fearing God. He said had every Muslim ruler considered that he is to submit to Allah then Afghanistan would not have rooted out, Iraq would not have destroyed, Hindu and Zionists would not have occupied Kashmir and Palestine and chief of international terrorists would not have gone berserk. He said at present important responsibility lay on the United Nations because America has humiliated it. He therefore said that OIC, Arab League, European Union, ICC and all other organizations should put all their pressure on the United Nations for summoning its emergent session, and give strict punishment to America and her agents after trying them for war crimes. If this was not done then America would become pain in the neck not only for Islam and the oppressed nations, but also for the whole mankind, he added. On the occasion of Pakistan Day that was observed with simplicity in Muharramul Haraam, he reiterated his resolve to give priority to death in honour over life in humiliation and not to give hand in the hands of any Yazid of the era, would continue confronting against oppression, and supporting the oppressed and have-nots. RAWALPINDI, March 22: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said adopting a courageous and concrete strategy after achieving independence from international colonial powers and their agents for solidarity of Islam and Pakistan was the need of the hour. He stated this in a special message issued on the occasion of Pakistan Day. He said this year we are observing Pakistan Day in a situation that on one side, the whole world is observing the grief of Mazloom-e-Karbala (A.S.) while American aggression is going on against the oppressed Iraqi people, on the other. Agha Moosavi said Pakistan Resolution was passed 63 years ago in the similar situation when the oppressed Muslim people of this region were facing oppression and they had started combined active struggle after announcing their commitment to achieve a separate State under the Two-Nation Theory. Their struggle borne fruit after seven years after passing that resolution as a result of which Pakistan came into being. He said the joint slogan raised by Muslims of the Sub-Continent was Pakistan Ka Matlab Kiya, La Illaha Illallah and the whole world is aware that Hussain (A.S.) is the basis of La Illah. The TNFJ chief said the whole world is surrounded by the international colonial powers again, Kashmir and Palestine were already facing oppression and brutality and the international colonial powers destructed Afghanistan in the pretext of rooting out terrorism and were now carrying out war against Iraq in the garb of destroying the weapons of mass destruction and by declaring Saddam a threat to peace. She was carrying out the worst bombing of the history on Iraq but the world is playing the role of silent spectator. Iran, Syria and Pakistan could be their next target, he added. He said that in these circumstances all oppressed and Muslim nations are under the obligation to evolve a joint strategy and as France and Russia have said the United Nations should display courage and decide that America is an aggressor. He said Pakistan is a member of the Security Council therefore her responsibility has increased manifold as the whole world is awaiting a courageous reaction from her. He said Pakistan rulers should come out from the submissive attitude and being an atomic power summon emergent session of the United Nations and the OIC and adopt a courageous strategy. The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi made it clear that America is not friend of anyone but safeguards her own interest and that of her Hindu and Zionist agents. RAWALPINDI, March 21: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said that no human being could support the American war imposed on Iraq that is religiously, morally, lawfully, and politically was uncalled for. He stated this while addressing Majlis-e-Mazloom Hussain (A.S.) on the 17th day of Azadari here on Friday. He said United Nations is a representative body of the whole world and according to Resolution 1441 there is room for any military action against any State but chief of the international Taghoot i.e. America has no right to attack any State as this right lay only with the Security Council rather that body could also select the armed contingents and decide about their leadership. Agha Moosavi said although it was a conspiracy, but 1991 attack on Iraq was carried out with the permission of United Nations, and American forces were still hanging around to-date. He said America destructed Afghanistan making excuse of New York incident and making Usama as her target and was now set to take revenge from the Iraqi people in the garb of Saddam despite the fact that Chief Weapon Inspector Hans Blix has uttered to the extent that they could not find anything from Iraq and let us see what America could find out from there. He lamented that we were not allowed to work. He said America has made weapons an excuse despite the fact that she had given these weapons to Iraq to fight out against Iran, and Iraq had attacked Kuwait on American desire. He said if those who keep the weapons are criminals then America that produces and supplies these arms is the biggest criminal. The TNFJ chief said at present Iraq has nothing and this fact has been accepted by the weapon inspectors but it is tragic that the Muslim Ummah that comprises a population of 1.3 billion, has a 3 million strong army, atomic power and bestowed with the oil wealth but the Muslim rulers were still playing in the hands of colonial powers because they keep their rule dearer than anything else. He said people are helpless, their hearts throb with unison and they consider attack on any oppressed and Muslim nation as an attack on themselves. He said the powers that be in Muslim States have coherent thinking and they are always after getting and prolonging power. He said we consider American attack on Iraq as an attack on the United Nations as she has sabotaged the United Nations effort rather has become a source of anarchy in it. He asked where should the Muslim and oppressed people should now go and as the poet says: The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said on one side there is Khadim Harmain Sharifain and Wali-e-Amr Al-Muslimeen on the other. We ask them both that what are they doing in the present precarious situation, he said adding that whether assembling Muslim Ummah on one platform and saving the oppressed Iraqi people was not included in their duties? He disclosed that the Christian spiritual leader Pope Johan Paul has sent his emissary towards Bush and has told the Press that those who are attacking Iraqi people should wait for the wrath of God. He said the Muslim States that have given bases to America are equally responsible for this oppression. He said like collusion with the oppressor is a sin, likewise keeping quiet on oppression is also a sin and according to a saying of the Amirul Momineen Hazrat Ali (A.S.) sending for help to the oppressor is also a sin. He strongly demanded from the United Nations Secretary General to take strict notice of American president Bushs aggression against Iraq, summon an emergent session and get its existence recognized using all out efforts to get ceasefire like France, Germany, China and some other States had taken a strong exception of American attack, and take action against America under the United Nations Charter. RAWALPINDI, March 20: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan while strongly condemning American attack on Iraq has termed it an attack on humanity and mankind. In a statement issued here from Tehreek headquarters on Thursday, he said no one could support attack on the land where Hazrat Adam (AS), Hazrat Noah (AS) and other holy personalities are buried and it is the joint inheritance of the whole humanity. He said America considers that Saddam is a threat for world peace and it has weapons of mass destruction. He said had Saddam been a threat for world peace then it would have occupied Kuwait and Iran long ago but on the contrary it had to suffer heavy defeat at their hands. Agha Moosavi said America had sought permission to attack Afghanistan but we were against it. This time it did not care for the United Nations, he added. He said the United Nations will have to be given its real status to get rid the whole world of aggression otherwise any other country could attack any poor or weak country and no one will be able to stop it. He said the whole world had already rejected American attack on Iraq and all but only three countries had opposed it. He said that America should know that in 1991 US attack on Iraq it had the support of 35 States and now there are only three with her so much so that the spiritual leader of president Bush i.e. Pope John Paul has termed the attack on Iraq as an invitation to wrath of God. The TNFJ chief said that Pakistan should also had adopted the courageous step like that of France, Russia, China and Germany on this issue. He said Pakistan is the only Muslim atomic power member of the Security Council therefore it should ask for an emergency session of United Nations, summon the OIC session immediately playing the leadership role for the Muslim World paving way for a joint line of action against this open aggression. The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi called upon the government that foremost target of diplomatic efforts must be to get American attack stopped because no one could guarantee the safety of holy places in Iraq as a result of American attack. RAWALPINDI, March 19: Haji Ghulam Murtaza Chauhan, Convener of Muharram Committee of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, District Rawalpindi has lauded the spirit of mutual unity and brotherhood displayed by all schools of thought in peaceful passage of Ashra-e-Muharram, especially on Youm-e-Ashoora. Addressing a meeting held in the District Control Room of the Muharram Committee on Wednesday, he said all residents of Rawalpindi District proved through their character and deed that Hussain (A.S.) belongs to all and to Allah. He made it clear to the government that Muharram does not mean only ten days as the Azadari programmes continue till 8th Rabiul Awwal but this time the Punjab government has not set up any Muharram Azadari Cell as a result of which Azadari problems are being faced. He demanded from the Punjab Chief Minister Ch. Pervaiz Illahi to issue immediate orders in this connection, set up Provincial Muharram Azadari Cell and direct it to keep a close contact with the Provincial Muharram Committee of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya so that problems faced by Azadars could be resolved amicably. He lamented that the Rawalpindi District administration was following the policy of ignoring the real representatives in connection with the arrangements of Muharramul Haraam although they should keep in mind that real representatives are those that are nominated by representative organizations of recognized schools of thought. He said we respect everyone but we have no faith in the present District Peace Committee because some particular people, yes men and people belonging to some banned groups are included in that Committee. He advised the Rawalpindi District Nazim to come out of the clutches of some particular people and keep a contact with the real representatives of the people. He said the District Nazim and the ministers attend all programmes including that of minorities willingly but no government functionary from top to bottom ever attends any Majlis-e-Aza and Azadari programme. So much so that provincial minister Raja Muhammad Basharat could not be seen in any Matmi procession despite being a resident of Rawlapindi. He expressed his concern that the electronic media ignored renowned Zakireen, poets and Noha-Khwans of Rawalpindi in special programmes aired during Ashra-e-Muharram this year. He said we support peace and have always cooperated in restoring peace keeping in line with Code of Azadari announced by Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan. He was confident that people of Rawalpindi District would thwart every conspiracy and mischief of enemies of religion and motherland through mutual brotherhood, cohesion, unity and cooperation. A resolution unanimously passed on the occasion strongly demanded from the District government to expel the banned terrorist and non-representative organizations (whether they were included after change of name) from the Peace Committee. It called upon the government to implement the Anti-Terrorism Ordinance issued by the President, keep a watchful eye on terrorist groups banned by the government while the government, the opposition, the people should express their hatred against ill-wishers of the country and do not allow them to join their ranks. Another resolution while strongly condemning the American president Bushs threat against Iraq made it clear that aggression against Iraq will be considered aggression against the whole Islamic World. Secretary of the District Muharram Committee Meesam Tammar presented his report on Azadari covering the whole district while future line of action was finalized in the light of proposals given by organizers of Majalis and representatives from the district and tehsils who attended the meeting. ISLAMABAD, March 17: Syed Shujaat Ali Bokhari, Convener of the Markazi Muharram Committee (Azadari Cell) of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan while presiding over an important meeting held in the Control Room of Muharram Azadari Cell of TNFJ District Islamabad has lauded the spirit of brotherhood and mutual understanding displayed by the whole nation in organizing Ashra-e-Muharram peacefully. He said the Azadaran by following the Code of Azadari announced by Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, in letter and spirit have proved that no ill-will could create any hurdle in their unity. He was confident that the same spirit of unity and brotherhood would continue to prevail during the remaining period of Ayyam-e-Aza. Bokhari strongly demanded from the government to set up Muharram Azadari Cells at Federal and provincial level including Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas because Azadars were facing host of problems as Azadari programmes continue till 8th of Rabiul Awwal. Therefore, he emphasized that Azadari Cells should be set up at Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Religious Affairs and on provincial level following in the footsteps of the NWFP government. He said the NWFP government had already set up Azadari Cell at provincial level having phone no. 091-9210300 and fax no. 091-9210201 as a result of which Ashra-e-Muharram remained peaceful there while incidents of minor nature were reported from some places in rest of the provinces. The Convener of the Markazi Muharram Committee of the TNFJ appealed Azadars to continue their programmes with honour and dignity during Ayyam-e-Aza, remain fully alert, and give priority to the solidarity of the nation and the country over all matters by following the Code of Azadari announced by Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. He said Imam Aali Muqaam (A.S.) presented invaluable sacrifice for safeguarding the high principles of humanity. He said Usswah-e-Shabbiri is the best example to follow for confronting the colonial conspiracies of the present era. Allama Guftaar Hussain Sadiqi Convener Muharram Committee District Islamabad and Zulfiqar Ali Raja presented report of the whole district in the meeting and apprised the participants of their oncoming programmes. Agha Moosavi also thanked all those departments, organizations and local administration that provided cooperation and services in connection with the Azadari-e-Imam Hussain (A.S.). He said although some incidents were reported from Karachi, Sargodha and Burewala, and Azadari processions were not allowed to be brought out at some places including Larkana Tehsil and Rojhan Jamali, therefore, we appeal the Prime Minister to take personal interest and get these processions take out so as to increase his fame and thwart the conspiracies of the enemy. The TNFJ chief said Majalis-e-Aza and Azadari processions would continue till 8th Rabiul Awwal therefore the government should form Azadari Cells at Federal and at provincial level including Northern Areas and Kashmir and disseminate the information besides keeping a constant touch with Central and Provincial Committees of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan so that problems faced by Azadars could be resolved amicably. The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi made it clear that we keep Azadari-e-Mazloom dearer than any thing because religion and Shariat are commensurate with Hussainiyyat. He said the world should keep in mind that whoever confronts Hussainiyyat tear apart into pieces. He said we are gentlemen and our gentlemanliness should not be considered as our weakness. A resolution said Pakistan was created in the name of Islam that is commensurate with two things: Zarb-e-Yadullahi and Sajdah-e-Shabbiri while Hussain (A.S.) is the protector of religion. The resolution lamented that National Assembly session was summoned during Ashra-e-Muharram while Senates opening session was also called during that period despite the Holy Prophet (SAW)s hair are polluted with dust and when a particular personality in his dream saw the Holy Prophet (SAW) in this condition and asked the reason, he said he is coming from Karbala. The resolution said such a situation gives an impression that Hussain (A.S.) does not belong to any particular country or Maslak rather Hussain (A.S.) belongs to Allah and everyone else and we all would have to prove it jointly. The time will soon come when every nation would keep its claim on Hussain (A.S.). Another resolution lamented that except the NWFP government Azadari Cells were neither set up by any provincial government or the Federal government nor they disseminated the same or kept a contact with the Markazi Muharram Committee of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya. The resolution said that Government ministers and governors go everywhere but Azadari processions are being taken out from all over the world to present condolences to the Holy Prophet (SAW) but none of them takes part in any Azadari program rather Omer Jamali, son of Prime Minister has got the Imambargah in Rojhan Jamali in Balochistan locked restricting Majalis-e-Aza and Azadari procession going on for years in that area according to a fax received from Sadat Research Institute Balochistan in the Control Room of Markazi Muharram Committee of TNFJ that is commensurate to encroaching upon the basic rights while the administration at lower level was not ready to cooperate fearing wrath of the high-ups. The resolution made it clear that a prime minister who is doing all this in his home village what else he could not do with the people in other parts of the country. It said saying that Hussain is enough for us is not enough but it should be proved through deeds. The resolution declared upon the government that Muharram is not the name of only Ashoora, as the Ayyam-e-Aza are spread from 1st Muharram to 8th Rabiul Awwal but it is tragic that sports are also fixed during Muharram, in these circumstances how can they seek blessings from the Holy Prophet (SAW) and get their problems resolved? They should rather face wrath, it said. The resolution reminded that last year Referendum was called for during Ayyam-e-Aza and this year SAF Games are announced which we all Azadaran-e-Hussain condemn strongly without any discrimination. The resolution said that we also enjoy our right on this country equally as it is our joint inheritance but people are even deprived of their basic rights that is condemnable. Another resolution adopted on the occasion condemned continuation of musical and comedy programs during the Ashra-e-Muharram and even on Shab-e-Ashoor. It said that the electronic and print media gave great importance to other programs but did not highlight Hussainiyyat in its true sense. It demanded that programs of Azadari-e-Hussain should be shown on all channels instead of limiting it to only one channel while music should be stopped even it is in the Khabarnama during the Ayyam-e-Muharram. The resolution strongly condemned the biased policy of Daily NAWA-I-WAQT that cries hoarse of its role in creating Pakistan and working for its solidarity. The said newspapers allegedly mishandled the news items regarding Zuljinah procession taken out from Jamia Al-Murtaza in Islamabad. By another resolution, the main Ashoor congregation lamented the Prime Ministers address to the nation on 7th Muharram in which he did not even mention Syed-us-Shuhada (A.S.). The resolution said that he could even bow down in the feet of voters to get a vote but he did not give time for a meeting to the Markazi Muharram Committee of the TNFJ despite repeated reminders. What type of public representatives are they, and what type of the Quaid-i-Azam Muslim League it is that ignores the principles of Quaid-i-Azam, the resolution asked. It seems that the Prime Minister and his party are hostage in the hands of some particular people whose attitude reveals that people belonging to Maktab-e-Tashayyo are being considered the class IV citizens of the country, which we strongly condemn. The resolution made it clear that all Sunni, Shia and other recognized Muslim schools of thought follow the same Allah, same Rasool (SAW), same Book, same Qibla and the same religion and would thwart the conspiracies of enemies of the religion and the motherland by becoming pious and united and no one would be able to create rift amongst them. Expressing complete solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine, Kashmir and Iraq, the Youm-e-Ashoora congregation strongly condemned restrictions imposed on Azadari processions in Held Kashmir and declared that attack on the oppressed people of Iraq would be considered as an attack on whole of the Islamic World. It said that we support the oppressed and are enemies of the oppressor but keeping to the saying of Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi there is no bigger oppressed than Hussain (A.S.) and no protest is bigger than Azadari therefore we will have to adopt the path of Hussain (A.S.) and will have to participate in Azadari to lodge protest in support of the oppressed if we desire to get rid of oppressors. The resolution expressed its shock over holding of examinations during Ashra-e-Muharram in various educational institutions and strongly condemned uncalled for restrictions on ulama and zakireen. Later, historic Zanjeer-Zani was performed by participants of the main Ashoora procession. END
