Thousands of people gathered on the occasion vociferously adopted the resolution presented by Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi.
The resolution while expressing grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of 10 Palestinians in the fresh wave of aggression by Zionists demanded from the United Nations to give up their dual policy and get the Kashmiris and Palestinians free from Indian and Israeli clutches otherwise they would be forced to understand that the United Nations was working for American interests only and pressure is being built against Muslims only. At present Iraq was the victim of their aggression where attacks were continuing despite Iraqi cooperation with the UN inspectors. The resolution while criticising American president Bush called upon the Muslim Ummah to display unity and brotherhood amongst their ranks in the present precarious situation. Another resolution said Pakistan came into being in the name of Islam but like in the past the present government has also totally ignored Maktab-e-Tashih, especially they were deprived of ideological representation on the electronic media during the month of Ramazan. The resolution lamented that although some powers emerged successful in the name of Islam but the country was still moving towards obscenity in which the electronic media was playing full role that is not only shameful but also tragic at the same time. Yet another resolution while demanding implementation of May 21, 1985 Junejo-Moosavi agreement for solution of long-standing Shia issues reiterated their resolve to extend all out support to Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi for achievement of religious rights of the Millat-e-Jafariya, Pakistan. They presented resolutions, which were unanimously passed by tens of thousands of participants. A resolution demanded that rights of all and sundry should be taken care of rather rights should be given on the basis of equality so as to root out sense of deprivation keeping to the norms of justice and fair-play for motherland Pakistans internal solidarity and development. It is most tragic that Maktab-e-Tashayyo has been ignored in ideological representation in every field in every government since creation of Pakistan to-date, the resolution said adding that now when the democracy has been put on trail, it is important to keep it intact that is only possible when no one is meted out with excess and injustice. Strongly demanding from the government implementation of the May 21, 1985 Junejo-Moosavi agreement for solution of long-standing Shia issues, the resolution made clear that we have always adopted the policy of mutual understanding for the protection, honour and dignity of the religion and motherland but it should not be considered as our weakness. The resolution called upon the government to lay such a foreign policy that would increase the dignity of the nation and the country. Another resolution adopted called upon international organisations to fulfil their responsibility in resolving the issues of the Islamic World, particularly the long-standing issues faced by Kashmir and Palestine and get the atrocities against oppressed Chechen Muslims stopped so as to root out oppression and brutality. By another resolution, the Eid-ul-Fitr congregations expressed concern over the activities of chief of the colonial powers America that has made the life of oppressed Muslims difficult in the garb of rooting out terrorism, therefore, international organisations should check her otherwise we would be justified to understand that they are playing as American B team and there is no justification for them to exist anymore. A resolution while reiterating moral, religious and Sharaee support to the ongoing independence movements of the Muslim and oppressed nations expressed complete solidarity with them and reminded them that launching active struggle for achievement of rights is not terrorism but denying these rights is terrorism and one who denies these rights is a terrorist. The resolution called upon the Islamic World to come out of deep slumber while the OIC should break its silence and adopt a courageous and concrete strategy, giving up all precautions, for solution of problems faced by the Islamic World. It added that Islam is the religion of peace and tranquillity; it preaches the message is love and brotherhood, and strongly condemns aggression, biases and all types of hatred. The Eid-ul-Fitr gatherings resolved to extend all out support to Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi for achievement of religious rights of the Millat-e-Jafariya, Pakistan, and promotion of Wilayat-e-Ali and Aza-e-Hussain. He prayed for sublimation of Islamic world, success of Islamic freedom movements, end of afflictions faced by Muslims including Kashmiris, Palestinians and Chechens as well as integrity, solidarity and development of motherland Pakistan. END RAWALPINDI, December 5: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said that the Eid-ul-Fitr is the thanks giving for the blessings on the month of Ramazan. He stated this in a special message issued on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr that is being observed throughout the country on Friday. He said Eid enjoys national status in the religion of Allah and Shariat the most important objective of which is that the whole nation bows down before Allah seeking forgiveness collectively. Agha Moosavi said Eid has also been mentioned in Ayah-114 of Qurans Surah Maeda:
Hazrat Eisa (A.S.) the son of Maryam (S.A.) said Allah our Lord send us Maeda (Khawan-e-Niaamat) for us from heaven so that it may mark Eid for us, for those who were before us and who are after us, and it could become a sign from You, and deliver us the eatables (Rizq), no doubt, You are the best deliverers He said Hazrat Eisa (A.S.) expressed to make that day Eid. He said Eid-ul-Fitr enjoys an important place in Islam, it is implemented on Youm Al-Fitr and Youm-e-Qurban in Shariat-e-Muhammadi and it is obligatory to observe Eid for highlighting the Islamic identity. The TNFJ chief said Eid is the praise of Allah, and the real Eid is for those who fulfil the due and avoid Munkiraat while trampling moral values and restrictions and expressing joy in a disorderly manner is not Eid. He said the real philosophy of Eid is to include the poor, deprived and oppressed people in Eid greetings, reducing their inferiority complex. He said this year we are observing Eid at a time when the whole world of humanity is confronted with terrorism, and oppression, brutality, disappointment, unemployment, poverty, unrest, and confrontation are the order of the day, and peace the world over is being shattered in the name of rooting out terrorism, blood of oppressed Muslims is being shed in Kashmir, Palestine, and Chechnya while new dramas are being staged to play holi with the blood of Muslims. The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi while terming the Indo-Russian defence pact and their demand to stop Pakistani infiltration a foolish exercise said Muslim massacre in Indian Gujarat, Kenya hotel incident, and bloodshed of Chechen Muslims are black spots on their forehead. On the other hand, he said Israeli wolfs were tearing apart Palestinian Muslims and in other words oppressed nations were licking their wounds. Therefore, he said the Islamic World should display exemplary unity on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr declaring upon the whole world that respect and survival of humanity is our foremost objective and we consider oppression, brutality, and terrorism an insult to humanity. He appealed to all Muslims to announce their commitment on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, seek forgiveness for their mistakes and express solidarity with the Muslim people and oppressed nations without any discrimination so as to share their grieves. END RAWALPINDI, December 4: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said that Islam could not be enforced just by making some ostensible announcements rather rulers and leaders would have to transform themselves into the Islamic structure first, for this purpose. He stated this while talking to a representative delegation that called on him here on Wednesday at the head of Tanzim Shia Aaimma Masajid Chairman Allama Syed Akhlaq Hussain Kazmi and Secretary Allama Sajjad Hussain Gardezi. Agha Moosavi said according to Article 2 of the Constitution, Islam is the official religion of Pakistan; therefore talking about enforcement of Islam and Shariat is negation of the fact that Islam already exists in the country. He said Shariat could not be enforced just by announcing ban of liquor, plying music in vehicles, withdrawal of LFO, restriction on interest, Gen. Musharraf giving up his uniform or withdrawing powers to dissolve the Assembly. He said people just desire resolution to their problems and are even ready to sacrifice their life for Islam and Pakistan and whenever the time of trial came, they did not back out. The TNFJ chief said like in past, harm is being caused to Islam by misusing the name of Islam and there is contradiction in the words, deeds and knowledge of those who are claimants of enforcing Islam. He said for real enforcement of Islam, it is necessary for rulers rather leaders to keep their life-style lower than the general public but if todays rulers look towards themselves, they would find out the real face brimming with marvellous life-style while the poor people face poverty. The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said ulema are under the obligation to create coherence in their words and deeds so as to get rid of problems faced by us all. He said Ulema-e-Haq had been saying Kalma-e-Haq even on the point of spear, therefore they are duty-bound to present Amar bil Maaroof and Nahi Anil Munkir even in this hard-hit era, in a positive manner. He said Ramazanul Mubarak not only enjoys the honour of being the month of Allah but has the honour of Nazool-e-Quran and creation of Pakistan also. He said Quran provides the foremost commandments of Islam and guarantees survival of whole humanity, preaches the message of love and brotherhood, peace and tranquillity, restoration of justice and fair-play and rooting out oppression and brutality. He said the dream of restoring welfare Islamic society could not be realised without fulfilling these pious targets. END

He said human beings the world over could get rid of all types of damages and problems by following the teaching of Quran. The TNFJ chief said independence is the universal lesson of Quran. He said being has the honour to be founded on 27th Ramazanul Mubarak giving us independence from our perpetual enemy and giving recognition to the Muslims of this Sub-Continent. He said our perpetual enemy was not letting any chance go waste to cause harm to Pakistan. He said Vajpayees recent utterances that he would not participate in SAARC summit unless terrorism across the border is stopped, and all tactics used before are aimed at diverting the world attention from the oppression being meted out by Indians against Muslims in Indian province of Gujerat and in Held Kashmir. The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi lamented that Russia was also speaking Vajpayees language by expressing concern over atomic weapons. He said Russia had interfered in Afghanistan and had to face worst defeat in the shape of disintegration, now she should avoid oppressive attitude against others and should stop making the life of Chechen minority difficult. He said use of poisonous gas in a besieged theatre is an act of naked Russian aggression and she is committing more oppression against Chechens to conceal that aggression. He said the only solution to issues faced by the Muslim Ummah is that they should adopt a joint strategy like a united Millat saying yes to the eternal and universal Message of Quran. They should reiterate their resolve during the pious month of Ramazan and on the occasion of Jashan Nazool-e-Quran that they would not hesitate in offering any sacrifice for the survival and defence of humanity, he added.
