Majalis, processions of Ashra-e-Beemar-e-Karbala continue


RAWALPINDI, February 12: Majalis-e-Aza and Matmi processions in connection with the Ashra Beemar-e-Karbala announced by Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan continued on the 9th day on Monday.

People belonging to all schools of thought participated in the programmes organised by religious and Matmi organisations and religious institutions in all small and big cities and towns of the country and presented Pursa and condolences in Bargah-e-Risalat.

In Rawalpindi, Majlis-e-Aza was held at Markazi Imambargah Gorah Shahan near Sawan Camp under the auspices of Anjuman Azadaran Musafirah-e-Shaam. Addressing the Majlis, Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi said that Hazrat Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) was the trustee and inheritor of Hussaini objective who not only protected the blood of Shuhada-e-Karbala and their inheritors but acted as spokesman of the Hussaini objective with patience and firmness despite being chained. He said the heart-rending Khutbaat of Hazrat Syed Sajjad (A.S.) checked Yazidiyyat and preached the oppressed nations the way to live with their head high and to achieve the desired objective. That is why, he said, Karbala is the guiding force for all nations surrounded by the international colonial powers, particularly the oppressed Iraqi people, Kashmiris and Palestinian freedom-fighters.

He said as per a saying of Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, Azadari is our jugular vein and no one will be allowed to cause any harm to it. Dr. Shabih-ul-Hassan Rizvi, Zakir Naveed Ashiq B.A., Zakir Musa Deenpuri, Zakir Nadeem Ashiq B.A., Maulana Asghar Maghmoom, Zakir Qamar Abbas, and others also addressed the Majlis.

The participants of the Majlis-e-Aza adopted a resolution moved by Syed Nazakat Hussain, Press Secretary of Anjuman Azadaran Musafirah-e-Shaam. The resolution expressed concern that Pakistan was passing through a tiresome period and every Pakistani is upset on this situation. He said President Pervez Musharraf was first in the history of Pakistan to have courage of banning not only extremist terrorist groups but also enforced Anti-Terrorism Act as a result of which incidents of terrorism saw a downward trend. But at the same time, it said, it is a matter of concern that those banned groups were working with new names and are rather seen at government and opposition fora while media was also giving full coverage to them.

The resolution while strongly condemning the incidents of terrorism at Islamabad Airport, Marriott Hotel, and in different cities of the Sarhad Province, demanded from the government to get these incidents probed on high level and give exemplary punishment to the culprits. Another resolution strongly condemning the Zionist plan to raze the Masjid-e-Aqsa called upon all international organisations including the United Nations to play their role in stopping this indecent act while the Islamic World should devise a practical and courageous struggle against this conspiracy from a joint platform.

Earlier, Zuljinah and Alam procession was taken out from the residence of Haji Arif prior to the Majlis and terminated at the Imambargah after marching through its designated route.

Zakirah Perveen Zaidi addressed a Majlis-e-Aza organised by Anjuman Dukhtran-e-Islam at Jamia Al-Murtaza. Maulana Maqbool Dhakku, Sardar Musa Khan, Zakir Sajjad Hussain Bokhari and others addressed a Majlis-e-Aza held at Qasr-e-Imam Musa Kazim I-10 that followed Matamdari.

RAWALPINDI, February 10: Ala Haider, Central Secretary Azadari Tehreek-e-Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan has said that giving rights to all schools of thought on the basis of equality is imminent to make Pakistan welfare Islamic State.

He stated this while addressing a Majlis-e-Aza held in connection with February 10 that marks a milestone in the history of Pakistan as All Pakistan Shia Convention was held that day in 1984 at Assadabad under the leadership of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi with a new commitment and national spirit to begin the Tehreek’s march forward.

He said former Prime Minister Muhammad Khan Junejo took a wise step of signing a written agreement with the TNFJ for solution of Shia problems as a result of 8-month long agitation from the Hussaini Mohaz demanding protection to Azadari and achievement of Shia demands. Every conspiracy and mischief of the combined enemy could be thwarted and Pakistan could be turned into “Amnistaan” (a hub of peace) by implementing that agreement.

He said Islam is our identification while Pakistan is our life. He demanded from the government to ensure enforcement of Fiqh-e-Jafariya for the Maktab-e-Tashayyo, introduce separate Deenyat curriculum for Shia students, set up of Shia faculty in all Islamic universities in Pakistan, give effective representation to Ahl-e-Tashayyo in Islamic Research Institute, superior courts, media, and Islamic Ideology Council, set up of separate Shia Auqaf (endowment) Board, give up uncalled for restrictions on Azadari Syed-ush-Shuhada, exert pressure on the Saudi government to reconstruct Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Moalla, and make the amendment in Article 30 (3) of Police Act 1861 ineffective under the “Junejo-Moosavi agreement”.

The TNFJ Secretary Azadari said that as per a saying of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Hamid Moosavi, Azadari is our jugular vein, therefore, Azadaran-e-Mazloom-e-Karbala should strictly follow the Code of Azadari giving priority to Ayyam-e-Aza over all other things.

He said Nawasa-e-Rasool (grandson of Prophet S.A.W.W.) Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) sacrificed all he had in Karbala in way of Allah’s religion courtesy which the flag of the religion and Shariat is fluttering all around the globe today. He made it clear that protection of Islam, people and Pakistan is the feather in the cap of TNFJ. No sacrifice would be spared for the protection of our beliefs and rights, he added.

RAWALPINDI, February 10: Majalis and Matmi processions in connection with Ashra-e-Beemar-e-Karbala (15-25 Muharram) being observed on the call of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi continued on the seventh day.

Hojjatul Islam Allama Muhammad Haleemi addressing a Majlis-e-Aza organised under the auspices of Hay’at Tulaba-e-Islamia said Hazrat Imam Sajjad (A.S.) taught the human beings way how to confront brutality. By shedding tears of blood, he made the evil forces admit that his father Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) stayed for righteousness because when he saw the dark clouds of ignorance all around, he rose against oppression and altered all he had and accepted to get his head chopped in Sajdah-e-Khaliq but did not bow down before the evil forces. He said after Imam Hussain’s (A.S.) Shahadat, Imam Sajjad (A.S.) delivered heart-rending khutbaat in the streets of Kufa and Shaam that shattered the evil forces.

Allama Haleemi said that when Imam Sajjad (A.S.) returned to Madinah after being set free, one day he was sitting at his place when a veiled person came to the Imam (A.S.) and said that I am hungry and thirsty, please help me. He fed him with water and meal and when he finished, he said Oh, the Imam of the time you did not recognise me and had you recognised me, you did not have treated me well rather you may have killed me. Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) said, Oh, Shaikh, I treated you well after recognising you as you are Hasseen bin Numair the murderer of my brother Ali Akbar (A.S.). When he asked why he hosted him well, the Imam (A.S.) said that in Karbala, we were your guests and here you are our guest. He said this was the style of Ali’s (A.S.) grandson who fed his murderer with soft drink. The oswah of Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) gives practical lesson of dealing with the enemy decently. Matamdari followed the Majlis.

A resolution adopted unanimously on the occasion strongly condemned the Zionist designs of razing the Al-Aqsa mosque and American threats of attacking Iran and called upon the Muslim rulers to come out of deep slumber and launch a joint practical struggle for solution of problems faced by the Islamic World.

The resolution said that Muslim Ummah is unbearable for the atheists from the day one and international gangsters were following the heinous plan to divide Muslims into pieces in their own States, terrorism has become the order of the day, the oppressed people of Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq and Lebanon were already undergoing oppression and now it is new offence against them, Israeli monsters are getting ready to raze the Al-Aqsa Mosque to ground and in this situation, if the Islamic World did not carry out a joint struggle then it would be the turn of all Muslim States, one by one.

Another resolution while strongly condemning the blast at Islamabad Airport demanded probe into all incidents of terrorism in the Federal Capital and Sarhad Province and giving exemplary punishment to the culprits forthwith.

A Majlis for ladies was held at Jamia-tul-Murtaza under the auspices of Anjuman Dukhtran-e-Islam. Mufakkira-e-Islam Syeda Binte Ali Moosavi addressed while Abeela, Nazimah and Nighat Kazmi performed Marsia Khwani.

Renowned ulema and zakireen addressed a Majlis-e-Aza held at Darbar Sakhi Shah Jehan Badshah Shah Dee Tahlian Committee Chowk Rawalpindi.

Earlier, a Zuljinah and Alam procession was taken out from the residence of Syed Shahid Abbas Kazmi that terminated at Darbar Shah Dee Tahlian after marching through its designated route.

RAWALPINDI, February 3: The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that the spirit of sacrifice of Hazrat Zainul Abideen (A.S.) is the beacon of light for the world of oppressed which if followed could resolve the problems faced by the oppressed nations and the Islamic World and overcome all difficulties.

He stated this while announcing to observe “Ashra-e-Beemar-e-Karbala” from 15 to 25 Muharramul Haram in connection with the Shahadat of Hazrat Ali Bin Al-Hussain (A.S.). He said Syed-us-Sajideen Hazrat Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) is that great personality who delivered heart-rending addresses in the streets of Kufa and Shaam and in the courts of Ibne Ziad and Yazid shattering the Yazidi castles after the martyrdom of Hussain.

Agha Moosavi said that tears of blood that rolled down from the eyes of the Masoom (A.S.) created the sea of knowledge and Ma’arfat and the collection of his duas “Saheefa-e-Sajjadia” benefited the world of humanity. Today the whole oppressed world is protesting for achievement of their rights, people of Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon, and Somalia are pitched against the colonial powers for whom’s rights the United Nations Organisation was created. He said this Organisation introduced its manifesto in the name of human rights but could not perform any such work through which the have-nots could achieve their rights.

He said Hazrat Imam Sajjad (A.S.) provided a great manifesto to the oppressed world in the shape of Saheefa-e-Sajjadia. The Beemar-e-Karbala (A.S.) kissed Shahadat protecting the highest objectives.

The TNFJ chief said that Allah Says in Surah Al-Qayamah of Holy Quran that the human being thinks that he will be left unattended (without a Sardar (leader)). He said the human being best of the creatures, should ponder over only on his creation, making and the outfit of his body and keep in mind a saying of the Maula-e-Kainaat Hazrat Ali Ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) that: “Oh, human being! You think that I am a tiny body although there is a great world (universe) hiding in you, then it would be revealed that all the five senses of the human beings were left free rather there is Syed-o-Sardar for them that is called heart.” If the five senses face any problem then they consult the heart that is their Sardar (leader) then how can such a big world could be left out without any Rahbar (guide) and Sardar.

Agha Moosavi said that there is a saying of the Quran-e-Natiq Hazrat Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S.) that goes that if no one remains in the world except two persons then one of them would be a Rahbar and Imam while the other would be his devotee, and sincere follower. Therefore, one of the Paighambar-e-Akram’s (SAAW) inheritors is Syed-us-Sajideen Hazrat Ali Bin Al-Hussain (A.S.). A renowned book Kashaf Al-Ghammah says that Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) was busy in Namaz-e-Shab when Iblees came there in the garb of a big snake and started teasing the Imam (A.S.) by taking his foot-thumb into his mouth but no sign of concern or inattention was visible in him. In the meanwhile an unseen voice appeared saying “You are Zainul Abideen” which got the fame as his title then on.

The TNFJ chief said that Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) had made his will in Karbala regarding Imamat and earlier before setting out from Madinah had handed over Taburrakat of the Holy Prophet (SAAW) to Ummul Momineen Hazrat Umme Salmah saying that whoever will ask you for Taburrakat would be the Imam after me. Therefore, when Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) returned to Madinah after Karbala, he asked Hazrat Umme Salmah for those Taburrakat which she handed over to Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.).

He said after the Shahadat of Imam Aali Muqaam Hazrat Hussain Ibne Ali (A.S.), Muhammad Hanfia claimed Imamat, then it was desired that the Hajre Aswad may make the decision. Therefore, both Muhammad Hanfia and Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) came near to the Hajre Aswad. First, Muhammad Hanfia sought the confirmation but there was no reply. Then when Imam Sajjad (A.S.) addressing the Hajre Aswad said that most respected sign of Ayat-e-Illah should tell in place of the Creator that who is the Imam after Imam Hussain (A.S.), then the Hajre Aswad very clearly and in detail replied that Imam Sajjad (A.S.) is the Imam after Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) and Muhammad Hanfia stepped forward and kissing the hand of Imam Sajjad (A.S.) accepted his Imamat. Muhammad Hanfia actually wanted to tell that Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) is placed on this great status with the commandment of Allah. Muhammad Hanfia had already accepted the Imamat of Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.).

Hasham bin Abdul Maalik saw that when an old and weak person forwards towards the Hajre Aswad the crowd automatically disperses, when he asked who is he, Farazdaq replied which is in poetic order:

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that homage will be paid to Hazrat Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) during Majalis-e-Aza and Azadari processions on the occasion of Ashra-e-Beemar-e-Karbala and expressing solidarity with the oppressed world, commitment would be made to continue expressing hatred against oppression and brutality and support to the independence and freedom movements of the have-nots and the oppressed.

Meanwhile, TNFJ Central Committee has been formed to organize programmes for Ashra-e-Beemar-e-Karbala. Dr. S. Zaman will be the Convener and Syed Mohsin Abbas Zaidi would be the Secretary of this Committee.

RAWALPINDI, February 1: The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that the whole world of humanity is indebted to the blessings of Shuhada-e-Karbala who sacrificed their life for the revival of Kalma-e-Tauheed and placed Shariat and humanity to Sidra-tul-Muntiha, and Karbala-e-Mualla is the sources of guidance and charisma even today.

He stated this in a special message issued on the occasion of Soyem of Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) and his 72 near and dear ones which is being observed throughout the country with devotion and respect on Friday.

He said life is the name of protection of religion and Shariat and struggle for the defence of human dignity. Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) sacrificed his life along with his 72 near and dear ones in Karbala for the supremacy of Islam and protection of human values and it would be a beacon of light till eternity. The brutalities of the Yazidi forces had no limit and there would have been not much shedding of tears, Noha and Matam on the part of world if it had been limited to Shahadat only but the Mukhaderaat-e-Ismat and Taharat for which Holy Quran says that , were arrested and put in jail and were made to ride camels without seats without wearing chadars on their heads and then these camels were driven past the bodies of Shuhada which indicates that Yazidi forces lacked humanity.

Hazrat Umme Kulsoom (S.A.) made herself fall from the camel and Hazrat Zainab (S.A.) wailed on the body of her brother Hussain (A.S.) which made even the enemies to weep. Kamil Ibne Aseer edition 4 page 81 says that Hazrat Zainab (S.A.) raised the body of her brother towards sky on her hands and said: “Oh, Allah! Accept this sacrifice of ours”. She continued: “Oh, the Prophet of God! Angels at earth and sky send Darood on you, this is your Hussain (A.S.) whose body has been cut into pieces and beheaded, this is your Hussain (A.S.) whose body is lying in this desert without any coffin or grave, wind is putting earth on it and every friend and foe is shedding tear on him”. Then she addressed her mother Fatima Zahra (A.S.) and said: “Oh, Dear mother! Oh, the daughter of Khair-ul-Bashar! Glance towards the desert of Karbala and see your son whose head is on the point of a spear and whose body is lying on earth saturated with blood in this desert. Oh, Dear mother! See towards your daughters, their tents have been put on fire and they have been made to ride camels without seats, we are your offspring and are engrossed in helplessness.”

Then she addressed Syed-us-Shuhada (A.S.) while tears rolling down her cheeks saying: “We sacrifice our lives for him whose army was martyred, whose tents were uprooted, who is not disappeared so that we may hope for his return, neither he is injured so that we may hope for his recovery, for him who was martyred in sorrow, broken heart and thirsty, blood was running from whose beard, whose Nana (grandfather) is Rasool-e-Khuda Muhammad Mustafa the Prophet of God (SAAW), who is the son of Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.), Ali Al-Murtaza (A.S.), Khatoon-e-Jannat Fatima Az-Zahra (S.A.), for whom the Sun turned back so that he may say his prayers.”

Then she addressed pious Ashaab-e-Rasool saying: “Oh, Grief! Today my forefather Rasool Allah (SAAW) has left this world, Oh, the companions of Rasool Allah (SAAW)! These are the Zuriyyat of Rasool-e-Khuda (SAAW) who are being taken away like prisoners”. The Yazidi forces started shedding tears on her utterance, animals and marine life got upset. It is said in “Mehr Qalqaloob” that at that time majority of people saw that horses in the Yazidi forces shed so much tears that their foot became wet with them.

Agha Moosavi said that all this was so shocking for Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) that he was about to collapse and die but Sani-e-Zahra (S.A.) encouraged him when saw him in this condition. He said: “Why I should not become restless, I am watching that my father and all our relatives and sincere companions are lying death in pool of blood without any coffin or grave.” Sani-e-Zahra (S.A.) said: “Oh, son! Don’t get upset, Allah Has sought commitment from this group of the Ummah which the wild people living on earth do not recognise but those who live on sky do recognise them. Therefore, they will collect the given-in bones of these bodies saturated in blood and would bury them and would establish such a sign of your father Hussain (A.S.) on the soil of Karbala which could not be rooted out. The more chief of the atheists will try to uproot these signs the more these would crop up.

The TNFJ chief said that on the Day of Ashoor, Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) had earmarked a tent so that bodies of all Shuhada Ahle Bait and sincere companions may be shifted to it. One body of a Qamar Bani Hashim (A.S.) and that of Shahzada Ali Asghar (A.S.) could not be brought there and whenever body of any Shaheed was brought there, Imam Hussain (A.S.) said, the Shaheed is like Anbia and the Aal-e-Anbia and Khalifa-tul-Muslimeen Ali Ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) had said that Shuhada-e-Karbala are that great in status here and the Hereafter that neither anyone achieved supremacy over them nor any one would achieve that in future. Madina-tul-Muajiz edition 4 says that when a person from Bani Asad comes to the Maqtal after the caravan of Aseeran-e-Karbala set out, he saw some indifferent scene that the bodies of Ahle Bait (A.S.) and their companions and supporters are saturated in blood but a lightening from the sky is surrounding their bodies and the fragrance passing these bodies was greater than any other scent. At the same time, he saw a lion coming near the pious body of Imam Hussain (A.S.) and cried in a fashion that was never heard before and the more surprising thing he saw was that when he saw towards the battlefield, he saw a lightening like a candle near every pious body and voices of crying and weeping of the unseen personalities were heard from these pious bodies. In some books, it is written that some people from Bani Asad Tribe came so as to bury the bodies of Shuhada but they were unable to recognise these bodies as these bodies were beheaded and were in pieces. They were upset and in the meanwhile they saw with astonishment that Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) was coming to them and he helped them recognise these bodies and got busy in burying the body of his father . Lucky is that earth that adopted his body. It is dark after him and the Hereafter is lightening with his Noor. Some people from the Maqtals wrote that the bodies of Imam Hussain (A.S.) and his sincere companions and near and dear ones were buried in the 13th Shab of Muharramul Haram.

Agha Moosavi said whereas the live nations keep on remembering their Mashaheer, they also not forget their days and from these days is the 13th of Muharram. He said Kanz Al-A’amal edition 11 says that Hazrat Ma’az copies a saying of Rasool Allah (SAAW) that talking about Anbia and Saleheen is worship and remembering them is Kaffarah of the sins, and remembering death is Sadqah the more it is practised the more Sawab one gets. Organising Majalis and Azadari processions on that day is the most suitable occasion for valuing Shuhada-e-Karbala and recognition of truthfulness who spent their life in guiding people.

He said Zaat-e-Illahi give strength to His pious and good people to fulfil such deeds. According to Hayat Al-Sahaba edition 3, Hazrat Abu Hurairah says that in one dark night, Imam Hussain (A.S.) was sitting close to Paighambar-e-Akram (SAAW). Rasool Allah (SAAW) loved him much. He desired to go to her mother. I said I will take you to her. He said ‘No’. In the meantime, a Noor appeared in the light of which he reached her mother walking. According to Majmah Al-Zawahid edition 9, Ubaidullah Ibne Ziad’s Darban says that on Day of Ashoor, I entered in the palace after him, I saw fire on his face and he was hiding it from his sleeve, he asked me: “Did you see that”? I said: “Yes”. He said: “Do not tell this to anyone”. According to Al-Moejib Al-Kabir Tibrani edition 3, Zahri says that when Imam Hussain (A.S.) was martyred, any stone picked up in Bait Al-Maqdas found fresh blood beneath it.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Moosavi said there is a saying of Maula Ali (A.S.) that even if mountains love us, they would fall apart while human being is the best of all creatures, then why not they would shed tears, recite Noha and perform Matam, Zanjeer-Zani, Qama-Zani in the love of Ahle Bait (A.S.) who are source of survival for them.

This would continue until oppression and brutality are rooted out for ever. That is why, he said, I used to say that universal protest against oppression and brutality would continue in the shape of Azadari-e-Imam Mazloom (A.S.) till the Zahoor of Imam Mahdi (A.S.).

RAWALPINDI, January 31: The Youm-e-Ashoor in memory of Nawasa-e-Rasool Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) and his 72 diehard companions was observed with traditional religious spirit, devotion and respect throughout the country Tuesday.

The day began with Aamal-e-Ashoora in mosques. Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi led the Aamal at Ali Masjid Satellite Town. Masaib-e-Ashoora were also delivered on this occasion. In Rawalpindi, main Youm-e-Ashoor procession was taken out from Imambargah Col. Maqbool Hussain and Imambargah Hifazat Ali Shah Bohar Bazar. Zuljinah procession taken out from Imambargah Ashiq Hussain Teli Mohallah merged into the main procession. Mourners of Imam Hussain (A.S.) performed Zanjeer-Zani and presented ‘Pursa’ of the Imam Aali Muqam (A.S.) to the Holy Prophet (SAAW) on this occasion.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Hamid Moosavi participated in the procession, offered Ziarat of the taburrakaat and performed Matamdari. A large number of mourners engaged themselves in heavy Zanjeer-Zani and Matam-e-Qamah at Bohar Bazar Chowk, Trunk Bazar, and Habib Bank Chowk. Ibrahim Scouts treated the Matmis at medical camps set up by them to provide first aid to mourners.

The procession turned into a big rally after reaching Fawwara Chowk where addressing the participants, Central Secretary Information of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan, Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi said the invaluable sacrifice of Imam Aali Muqaam (A.S.) was for survival of religion of Islam and humanity. The Imam who was brought up in the lap of Risalat (SAW) preferred to be beheaded by practically refusing Baia’at of liar and debaucher Yazid and preached a universal lesson to freedom fighters not to compromise but confront the tyranny and Yazidiyyat. He expressed satisfaction on overall peaceful Ashra-e-Muharram all over the country and lauded the arrangements made by the government. However, condemning the incidents of terrorism in Peshawar, Dera Ismail Khan and Hangu, he said the situation worsened owing to weakness witnessed in Sarhad province at the administration level. He said we are inheritors of Sabr-e-Hussaini and would thwart every conspiracy of the combined enemy by following peaceful policy and promoting mutual unity and brotherhood on the call of Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. He said Agha Moosavi had said 20 years ago that there is no sectarian conflict in any part of the world including Pakistan and a terrorist keeps no religion, Maslak or a country, he is only a terrorist and should, therefore, be tackled in that context. He said President Pervez Musharraf has done a very good job by imposing a ban on terrorist groups, however he should take action against the black sheep within the government who are backing the banned groups.

The participants adopted various resolutions amongst vociferous slogans. A resolution demanded formation of high level Tribunal in Sarhad province to probe the incidents of violence, make the real issues to public and give exemplary punishment to the culprits. Another resolution made it clear that Azadari programmes continue till 8th Rabiul Awwal, therefore, Muharram Azadari Cells should continue cooperating in the Federal Capital and in the province and should be directed to remain in contact with the TNFJ’s Muharram Azadari Cell, besides Azadari Cell in Sindh province should be notified forthwith.

Another resolution demanded to ensure taking out of Ashoora procession in Hangu and said no bargaining would be accepted on Azadari. Another resolution condemning the load-shedding during Ashra-e-Muharram demanded to give up load-shedding keeping in view the continued Azadari programmes all over the country. The participants of the procession resolved to continue the Aza-e-Mazloom Karbala in line with the Code of Azadari announced by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. Ch. Mushtaq also addressed the gathering. Mukhtar Students Organisation had set up Markazi Azadari Camp at Fawwar Chowk to facilitate the mourners.

Later, participants of the main Ashoora procession reached Raja Bazar where they performed historic Zanjeer-Zani. Zuljinah processions taken out from Imambargah Kashmirian Tyre Bazar and Darbar Shah Chan Chiragh also merged into the main procession at Purana Qila. The main Chehlum procession terminated at Imambargah Qadeem after passing through Jamia Masjid Road and Imambara Chowk. The participants of Zuljinah processions taken out from Imambargah Yadgar-e-Hussain Satellite Town and Imambargah Baltistania Angatpura performed Zanjeer-Zani at Banni Chowk.
