The day began with recitation from holy Quran in mosques of all small and big cities and towns of the country while Majalis-e-Taraheem and Azadari programmes are also being held in which ulema, waizeen, and zakireen highlight the philosophy of Shahadat. Khutaba will address the Friday congregations on the topic like the blood of Shuhada would not go waste while homage will be paid to the Shuhada-e-Islam, oppressed people of Kashmir, Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan, Shuhada of holy places, Tank, Hangu, Nishtar Park, Quetta, Northern Areas, Allama Fazil Hussain Alvi, Maulana Maula Bux Jafri and Shuhada of Bari Imam incident. Special prays are being offered for upgrading the status of Shuhada, and for integrity, solidarity and survival of the motherland Pakistan.
RAWALPINDI, May 17: Meesam Tammar, Convener of Alamgir Youm-e-Shuhada-e-Bari Imam Committee has demanded from the government to correct the law and order situation in Pakistan on the occasion of Alamgir Youm-e-Shuhada-e-Bari Imam (Universal Day of Bari Imam Martyrs) that is being observed throughout the country on Friday, May 19 to pay homage to those who sacrificed their life on the occasion of annual pursadari of Sultan-ul-Fuqara Hazrat Bari Imam Kazmi Al-Mashadi last year by organising Quran Khwani and Majalis-e-Taraheem. He stated this at a Press conference held here on Wednesday. He said Quran Khwani, Fateha Khwani and Majalis-e-Taraheem will be organised on the day for raising the status of Shuhada of Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq and incident of Samrah, Hangu, Tanak, Nishtar Park, Laal Shah Sorasi, Shuhada-e-Quetta, Allama Fazil Hussain Alvi, Maulana Maula Bux Jafri and of course the Shuhada of Bari Imam incident on Friday throughout the country. Tammar made it clear that the participation of Maktab-e-Tashayyo in creation of Pakistan is not less than others therefore we strongly demand from the government to form a broad-based tribunal to investigate all incidents including the Bari Imam incident fulfilling the norms of justice and fair-play, unveiling the culprits behind the same and giving them exemplary punishment. He said we still support the point of view of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi that there is no maslaki conflict throughout the country, however, some satanic forces were bent upon proving so, they failed in their nefarious designs before and would receive the same fate in future also. He said today everyone was supporting our point of view that a terrorist keeps no religion, maslak or a country but they are terrorists only. The Bari Imam incident was an open act of terrorism, President Pervez Musharraf had taken good steps to root out terrorism and had not only enforced Anti-Terrorism Act but had also banned terrorist groups. However, he added, President should find out who was sabotaging his steps because the banned groups are seen at the fora of the government and the opposition and they get immense coverage on the media also. If the situation remained the same the how could the terrorism could be rooted out, he asked. Giving some background of the functions that are a feature of the Bari Imams shrine, he said during the era of Field Marshal Muhammad Ayub Khan, all shrines were out of Auqaf Departments custody and all functions were held with fanfare without any fear and people belonging to all walks of life used to participate in the same without any consideration of the maktab, maslak or country. Hazrat Bari Imam, he said, is equally popular and respected in all schools of thought and on the last day of Urs of Hazrat Bari Imam, pursadari programme is organised since long before creation of Pakistan. Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Hamid Moosavi performs Ziarat by participating in the pursadari being his relationship with the Khanwada-e-Bari Imam. He said that last year during the Majlis-e-Aza when Agha Moosavi was about to reach the venue, a strong bomb blast took place as a result of which dozens of Zaireen and Azadaran kissed Shahadat while hundreds of them were injured some of which were still undergoing treatment in different hospitals of the city. Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya is the only representative organisation of the Maktab-e-Tashayyo with the only objective of promoting peace and disseminating oneness and brotherhood. He said the Tehreek displayed utmost patience of the Bari Imam incident and did not allow any riot throughout the country which was also recognised by all sections of society including the government. This policy was the continuation of the policy adopted at the time of Shahadat of Aun Muhammad Rizvi and Shah-e-Najaf incident. Earlier, during the 9-month long agitation thousands of arrests were courted, two persons kissed Shahadat but no loss was allowed to be caused to anyone. He lamented that the government did not take the Bari Imam incident seriously. Almost one year has passed by but neither any probe tribunal was formed nor any culprits were arrested or unveiled. No loss was compensated while no government personality even bothered to offer condolence on their death. He said we adopted gentlemanliness despite in control of doing anything. He reminded that the TNFJ had taken over the Islamabad Secretariat, had carried out 9-month long agitation and all this was done peacefully because we keep the religion, motherland and its people dearer than everything. We left the justice regarding Bari Imam incident to Allah, he added.
RAWALPINDI, May 15: The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has announced to observe Alamgir Youm-e-Shuhada-e-Bari Imam (Universal Day of Bari Imam Martyrs) on Friday, May 19. In a statement issued here from TNFJ headquarters, he said homage will be paid to those who sacrificed their life on the occasion of annual pursadari of Sultan Al-Fuqara Hazrat Bari Imam Kazmi Al-Mashhadi last year by organising Quran Khwani and Majalis-e-Taraheem. He said they have given a practical lesson to the whole world of humanity that martyrdom is our inheritance and Azadari is basis of our religion and Shariat that is our eternal life for which we utilise all our energy considering it our worship and accepting jail for it is our habit and giving life for it our blessing and Shahadat. Agha Moosavi said that on the occasion of Alamgir Youm-e-Shuhada-e-Bari Imam, we would reiterate not to let go the holy blood of martyrs waste and would neither bargain the high religious goals about Tauheed, Risalat, Wilayat and Azadari nor will allow any one to do so come what may. He appealed all schools of thought to organise Quran Khwani, Fateha Khwani and Majalis-e-Taraheem for raising the status of martyrs of Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq and tragedy of Samarra, Hangu, Tank, Nishtar Park, Laal Shah Sorasi, Quetta, Allama Fazil Hussain Alvi, Maulana Maula Bux Jafri and of course the martyrs of Bari Imam incident on Friday throughout the country. Meanwhile, TNFJ Committee has been formed to organise programmes for Alamgir Youm-e-Shuhada-e-Bari Imam. Meesam Tammar has been appointed Convener and Abu Nasr Kazmi as Secretary of this Committee.
RAWALPINDI, May 12: Central Secretary Tanzim of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan Abbas Jafri has strongly demanded from the government to arrest the assassins of Shuhada-e-TNFJ Bari Imam incident forthwith and give them exemplary punishment. Addressing as a chief guest a meeting of TNFJ District Council Rawalpindi, presided over by Alhaj Ghulam Murtaza Chauhan, Jafri expressed grave concern that almost one year is to complete when Bari Imam incident took place but the government has put that case in the cold storage. He said Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi was the actual target of the terrorists responsible for Bari Imam incident. Dozens of Azadaran kissed martyrdom while hundreds were injured out of which many are still under treatment in different hospitals but the government has not yet given any compensation to the bereaved families of Shuhada and to the injured nor any tribunal was formed to probe that incident. He made it clear that the TNFJ has never bargained on principles and did not hesitate in saying Kalma-e-Haq and also not allowed anyone to cause harm to the country. Abbas Jafri made it clear that TNFJ has always given priority to Islam, Pakistan and its people and would not allow anyone to cause harm to its dignity and honour. He called upon the rulers to exercise wisdom and seriousness and take care of all sections of society keeping the norms of justice and fair-play intact. He demanded immediate arrest of the culprits of Tank, Hangu and Bari Imam incidents and assassins of Maulana Fazil Hussain Alvi, Maulana Maula Bux Jafri and under training police officials in Quetta. The representatives from Murree, Kahuta, Kotli Sattian, Gujjar Khan, Taxila, Rawalpindi, and Kallar Syedan reiterated their resolve to support any call made by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Hamid Moosavi for achievement of religious rights for the Maktab-e-Tashayyo. Fateha Khawani was done for Allama Fazil Hussain Alvi, Maulana Maula Bux Jafri and other Shuhada of religion and motherland during the meeting.
RAWALPINDI, May 11: An important meeting of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Regional Council Rawalpindi was held. Allama Abul Hassan Taqi presided over the meeting in which organisational matters were reviewed. Central Secretary Information of the Tehreek, Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi, addressing the gathering as a chief guest said formation of united Muslim forum was the need of the hour for resolving problems faced by the Islamic World and to overcome difficulties faced by it in the backdrop of changing circumstances. He said at present the neglect of the Muslim rulers has encouraged the international colonial powers to mount their pressure on Muslim States. Those rulers who could not resolve problems of the people have no right to rule. He said there is no one to utter Kalma-e-Haq and it seems that they have restricted themselves into their shackles. Similarly, he said rulers and politicians are also remain busy in finding out one issue or the other while international and national media support their views profusely. Zaidi lamented that what type of Muslims they are that they are not ready to utter or write a couple of words against the desecration of Holy Prophet (SAW), Azwaaaj-e-Mutahhiraat, Aal-e-Atahaar and pious Sahaba Kubaar. All powers should keep in mind that it is late but never while Allahs wrath is soundless. He said Amar Bil Maaroof is binding and we strongly condemn all types of terrorism, oppression and brutality and those powers that deprive them of their rights. He made it clear that according to a saying of Maula Ali (A.S.), the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya was following the policy of hatred against the oppressed and support for the oppressed to whatever area and Maktab he belongs. He strongly condemned those electronic and print media that did not give coverage to the TNFJ Press conference held is Islamabad on Wednesday. A resolution presented by Regional Council TNFJ President Allama Abul Hassan Taqi that demanded restoration of sanctity of holy places, particularly the reconstruction of holy shrines of Hazrat Imam Ali Naqi (A.S.). Another resolution demanded immediate arrest and exemplary punishment for the assassins of Allama Fazil Hussain Alvi, Maulana Maula Bux Jafri and those who lost their life as a result of blasts in Quetta on Thursday.
ISLAMABAD, May 10: Syed Shujaat Ali Bokhari, Additional Secretary General of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan has demanded restoration of honour of the holy places in Saudi Arabia so as to make the international protest against blasphemy effective. Addressing a Press Conference along with Central Secretary Information of the Tehreek Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi and ulema at Press Club Islamabad Rawalpindi Camp Office here on Wednesday, he said the whole Islamic World was going through the ordeal of the policy adopted by Saudi rulers back in 1924. He said a British newspaper Daily Independent has published a report of Daniel Howden in which it has been revealed that the expansion plan of Makkah and Madinah has caused destruction of invaluable heritage of Islam. According to that report, car parking has been established at the place of birth of Rasool-e-Khuda (SAW), grave of Rasools (SAW) mother Hazrat Amina (A.S.) was bulldozed and gasoline poured over it while latrines and washrooms have been built on the house of Rasools (SAW) wife Ummul Momineen Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) in the expansion. He said at present the historic places in Makkah Mukarramah have been reduced to less than 20 that provides food for thought. He also lamented that the house of khalifatul Muslimeen Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique is presently housing Hilton Hotel and the place of Rasools (SAW) grandson Ali Oraiz and Masjid Abu Qabees have been turned into the palace of Saudi King. On the other hand it is surprising that the oldest church in Arabian Island called Kaaba-e-Najran by Arab World, Haj had been performed around it for 40 years in the era of ignorance, is being unearthed as heritage. Now, the Saudi government has also allowed tourists there, from all over the world. Answering a question, he made it clear that we keep no personal friendship or enmity rather we say the truth and we do not care if anybody turns against us or in our favour, we only desire that Allah and His pious personalities are happy with us. He said Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Mualla that are respectable for the whole Islamic World were bulldozed and are still in that condition. We can only blame others when we ourselves are pious. He said Islam condemns biases. When we commit humiliation we do not expose ourselves and when someone else does, we make it a political issue. He said the American Commission for International Religious Freedom has demanded from the Bush administration to take action against Saudi Arabia for violation of religious freedom. Pakistan is included in another 8 countries where religious freedom is at stake that poses a question mark. Bokhari made it clear that Islam is a complete code of life that is source of guidance and survival for humanity, condemns all types of biases, gives priority to respect to mankind, expresses hatred against oppression and brutality and supports the oppressed and have-nots. Islam did not ever commit aggression rather it had been a victim of aggression itself from the very beginning and still going through this ordeal. He said respect of the signs linked with Khasan-e-Illahi, Ambia, Mursaleen, Aulia and Saleheen is great Sawaab, but, he said, the satanic forces were bent upon defaming it. He said that in 1967, Al-Aqsa Mosque was torched by Zionists, Babri Mosque was set on fire by Hindus, but after that a new game was started and the players were those hunters who tried their best to prove Islam “religion of punishments” and Muslims “extremists” under a plan in ordr to get them declared terrorists, while Islam is based on justice and equity and it prefers moderation. Afghanistan was destructed after attacking it, destruction in Iraq is still in continuation; holy places in Kazemain, Baghdad Sharif, Karbala and najaf that are respectable in sight of whole humanity were desecrated; holy shrines of Hazrat Imam Ali Naqi (A.S.) and Hazrat Imam Hasan Askari (A.S.) in Samarra were bombed; newspapers of Denmark and other European countries published insulting caricatures of holy Prophet (SAW). The TNFJ leader expressed grave concern that motherland Pakistan was in the grip of terrorism for the last quarter a century and our combined enemy was utilising all her energy to prove it as a Sunni-Shia conflict but she did not succeed in doing so but it is unfortunate that when our rulers and politicians are attacked it is considered terrorism but when religious parties and religious leaders are attacked they utilise all their energy to try to prove it as sectarianism. He lamented that the government did not even condole with the bereaved families of Bari Imam, Tank, Hangu, Karachi, Faisalabad and Kandhkot incidents that makes it clear that they only listen to those who follow the policy of Jalao-Gherao and riot but do not respect those who follow a peaceful course. He said even the media ignores us, but why? We had given sacrifices for the creation of Pakistan. We would have to adopt joint and courageous strategy if we have to check the satanic forces. Shujaat Bokhari made a fervent appeal to the brotherly Islamic State of Saudi Arabia to restore the dignity of holy places so that we may challenge the satanic forces openly otherwise the incidents of blasphemy would continue to crop up. TNFJ District Islamabad President Allama Basharat Imami, Allama Akhlaq Hussain Kazmi, Allama Saqlain Ali Bokhari, Allama Mohsin Ali Hamdani, Allama Guftar Hussain Sadiqi, Malik-e-Ashtar, Syed Nazakat Hussain Kazmi, Abbas Jafri and Syed Baqir Hussain Naqvi were also present at the Press Conference.
