Universal Chehlum Committee for quake martyrs thanks all for full participation, condemns terror incidents

RAWALPINDI, November 27: An important meeting of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan’s Universal Chehlum Committee for those who died and martyred in earthquake was held here on Friday to thank different schools of thought for their practical display on last Friday.

Convener Meesam Tammar who presided over the meeting in his presidential address said the whole nation by fully participating in Quran Khawani, Majalis-e-Tarheem and pray and condolence gatherings on the occasion of Universal Chehlum has proved that we share our woes and grieves, our religion and Ka’aba is one and we follow one God, Rasool (SAW) and pious leaders of religion, and no power on earth could create rift amongst us.

He made it clear that we had created motherland Pakistan jointly and we are duty bound to protect and carry out practical struggle for its solidarity and development also. Highlighting the TNFJ Relief Policy, he said the Central Relief Committee has already appealed the philanthropists to help the affected with an open heart and deposit their donations with the President’s Relief Fund or with their nearby mosques, Imambargahs and religious institutions or they can deposit the same in the office of TNFJ Central Relief Committee.

The participants of the meeting while expressing heartfelt sympathies with the affected people announced their commitment that relief efforts of the TNFJ would continue till the complete rehabilitation of the affected.

The Universal Chehlum Committee meeting participants strongly condemned the terrorism incidents reported from Dera Ismail Khan during the last two days and demanded from the government to ensure effective implementation of the Anti-Terrorism Act and to take strict action against the culprits of terrorism and the banned groups.

Prayers were offered for those who lost their life or martyred in the earthquake, for early recovery of the injured, and the early rehabilitation of the affected.

Bokhari advises govt to outlaw participation of banned outfits in politics for peace in NAs

ISLAMABAD, November 26: Syed Shujaat Ali Bokhari, Additional Secretary General of Tehreek-e-Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan, has advised the President Pervez Musharraf to ban the participation and interference of banned groups in political affairs so as to restore durable peace in the most sensitive Northern Areas.

He stated this while talking to a delegation of ulema, intellectuals and social personalities of the Northern Areas that called on him under the leadership of Hojjatul Islam Muhammad Ali Al-Hussaini at Bokhari House on Saturday. The delegation apprised the TNFJ Additional Secretary General about the prevailing issues and the latest law and order situation in Northern Areas in detail.

Shujaat Bokhari said we had informed the government during the last elections in the Northern Areas that contesting elections from sectarian platform should be prohibited but no one lent ear to our suggestion the pros and cons of which are now being faced by the government and the people in the shape of unrest and anarchy.

He lamented that the banned groups are not only being given coverage on the media rather the powers that be and political circles were also using them under the law of necessity contrary to the national collective interest. He said it is a national tragedy that in any action or operation against terrorism and anti-social activities, the culprits get a clear escape. The innocent citizens are sent to jail those who patronise the miscreants are invited in peace meetings.

He said that as per a saying of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, there is no sectarian conflict in any part of the country including Northern Areas but it is the clash of interest on the part of some particular banned groups who operate according to time and situation on the initiation of their foreign masters. The government and the opposition should tighten noose around them instead of using them for their self-interest.

The Northern Areas delegation also extended an invitation to the TNFJ Additional Secretary General Shujaat Bokhari to visit the Northern Areas.

Universal Chehlum of earthquake martyrs observed in different global parts; Quran Khwani, condolence gatherings, Majalis held

ISLAMABAD, November 25: The universal Chehlum of those who kissed martyrdom and died in the earthquake disaster was observed throughout the country on Friday 25 Nov in line with the announcement of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi.

Quran Khwani, pray and condolence gatherings, and Majalis-e-Taraheem were organised on this occasion. Khutaba, and prayer leaders in their address at Friday congregations highlighted the topic of natural disasters in detail. Special prays were offered for those who died or martyred in the October 8 earthquake without any discrimination and prayed for the early recovery of the injured.

In Islamabad, TNFJ Central Secretary Information Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi addressed the main gathering of the universal Chehlum at Jamia Masjid Jafariya. He said the whole nation shares the grief over the bereaved families. Terming the National Volunteer Movement initiated by the government to accelerate the rehabilitation of earthquake affected, he announced that workers of TNFJ and its subordinate bodies would fully participate in it so as to accelerate the rehabilitation activities.

He appealed the philanthropists to help the earthquake victims with an open heart and deposit their donations with the President’s Relief Fund or deposit the same in the nearby mosque, Imambargah or deposit it with the religious institutions of their respective schools of thought or these donations could also be deposited in the office of TNFJ Relief Committee directly.

Prof. Ch. Ghulam Abbas in his address said the example of the earthly disaster that hit Pakistan on October 8 is seldom witnessed in the human history in which lakhs (hundreds of thousands) of people including school children died along with their teachers while lakhs of them injured besides making many women as widows and children as orphans. He said the whole nation rose to the occasion to help and rehabilitate the affected while the armed forces, religious, political and social organisations and institutions by extending all out help to them have proved that we share our grieves and happiness.

Moreover, he said, foreign countries and NGOs also played an important role in relief work that is laudable. Despite piling up of huge amounts from all over the world, more help is still needed. After the successful holding of Donors’ Conference, there is also need to make it result-oriented.

Imam-e-Juma and Jamaat Jamia Masjid Jafariya Hojjatul Islam Allama Sadiqi in his address paid rich tributes to Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Hamid Moosavi for his announcement to observe universal Chehlum of those who were martyred or died in the earthquake. He said it is not a matter of any sect or school of thought rather that of whole humanity and we share the grief of all bereaved families without any discrimination. Collective dua and Fateha Khwani was also offered on this occasion. Prof. Syed Muzammil Hussain Naqvi also addressed the gathering.

Quran Khwani and Majlis-e-Aza were also held at Qasr-e-Abu Talib Rawalpindi for those who died or martyred in the earthquake. Allama Syed Mohsin Al-Hussaini in his address said the quake disaster is, no doubt, unforgettable and testing moment and the whole world has continued their practical efforts for rehabilitation and help for the affected, and all schools of thought were struggling to provide peace to their aggrieved brethren in this hour of trial without any discrimination which is laudable.

He said as per saying of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Hamid Moosavi, all those who lost their life in earthquake were the parts of our body, and there is a lot to do for their surviving near and dear ones besides sharing their grief. He said problems are also increasing with the increase in cold, therefore, all out struggle should be made that the deserving people are not deprived of their due in any case while protection of their honour and dignity is binding on all countrymen.

He said it is to be ensured that the relations of the earthquake victims do not lose contact from each other and the tribes and families they belong to should be given complete protection because families are the identity of a human being.

Syed Naseer Hussain Sabzwari and Zakir Fida Hussain Jafri also addressed the gathering.

Allama Abu Jafar Naqvi, Convener of the TNFJ Provincial Council Punjab Committee for Universal Chehlum, while addressing the Majlis-e-Chehlum at Jamia Masjid Ahle Bait Gaddowal said, the destruction as a result of tragic earthquake was a tough test in which the whole nation has proved through their firmness and spirit of sacrifice that Maktab-e-Tashayyo could confront any test by becoming a concrete wall at every level.

In Peshawar, Imam Juma and Jamaat Allama Ghulam Ali Zahid, Allama Abul Hassan Taqi at Darbar Sakhi Shah Piyara Chuhr Harpal, Allama Saqlain Ali Bokhari at Jamia Masjid Shah Chan Chiragh, Al-Haj Ghulam Murtaza Chauhan at Imambargah Zainul Abideen, Allama Zawwar Hussain Madni at Haideria Masjid addressed the universal Chehlum Majalis, condolence programmes and offered Fateha Khwani.

Meanwhile, according to reports reaching at TNFJ headquarters, Quran Khwani, Majalis-e-Taraheem and pray congregations in connection with the universal Chehlum of earthquake victims were organised by TNFJ, other religious organisations, and religious institutions in America, Britain, Arab States, and other parts of the world.

People belonging to different schools of thought participated in these programmes in a large number and offered prays for those were martyred or died in earthquake without any discrimination.

TNFJ chief vows to protect belief and motherland; Delegation headed by Allama Al-Khomeini extends all-out support to QMJ Moosavi

RAWALPINDI, November 23: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya and chief of the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, has vowed to continue his practical struggle for promotion and protection of high religious values with sincerity of purpose in a trustful manner and would not let anyone cause any harm to their belief and motherland.

He was talking to a 14-member representative delegation of Bazm-e-Pashto Zakireen Sarhad Province that called on him at the head of TNFJ Regional Council Kohat President Allama Abul Hassan Al-Khomeini.

He said we are lucky that we are working for the religion and Shariat with sincerity and trustworthiness. We still stick to our announcement made in the crowd of lakhs (hundreds of thousands) of people gathered at Deena Convention that whether the nation support us like the companions of Hussain (A.S.) or leave us like the companions of Muslim (A.S.), we would continue our struggle, come what may, for our pious mission of ‘Wila’ and ‘Aza’ and for achievement of our objectives and targets, neither our forefathers bargained in this connection nor we would do so or allow any other to bargain.

Agha Moosavi said that we always say Kalma-e-Haq (truth), give religion and Shariat priority over all other things, we are followers of religion of Islam, Quran is our manifesto, and Ahle Bait-e-Atahaar (A.S.), pious Sahaba Kubaar (R.A.) are our leaders and Holy Prophet (SAW) is the chief of them who not only introduced Islam rather won the certificate of completion of the religion. On that occasion, the Holy Prophet (SAW) had said: Oh, people! Have I delivered the Message of God to you? They all replied: Yes, O Messenger of Allah (SAW), yes, you have returned the trust and have fulfilled the right of welfare of the Ummah. Therefore, the holy Prophet (SAW) had also told them that Quran is with Ahle Bait (A.S.) and Ahle Bait (A.S.) with Quran. He declared Ahle Bait (A.S.) as the source of peace for the whole humanity and Quran as the source of guidance that is protected by Allah:

The TNFJ chief said that the whole universe has been told that whenever they face any difficulty, they should ask the Ahl-e-Zikr for solution. Zakireen have played an important role in disseminating the message of Quran, and to introduce Ahle Bait-e-Uzzam (A.S.) and pious Sahaba Kubaar (R.A.) in the world. The zakireen are a lucky lot of being the disseminators of religion and Shariat, therefore, the enlightenment of religion and Shariat to-date owe to ulema and zakireen and a heavy responsibility still lay on their shoulder to play an enlightened role because oppression, brutality and tyranny are the order of the day, bloody ‘holi’ is being played in Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan and Iraq.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Hamid Moosavi expressed his concern that the motherland Pakistan was already confronted with many problems and difficulties and at present was going through the earthy and otherwise disasters. He made it clear that Quran is the Book that has changed the course of human history as a result of which new world came into being but today that very Ummah for which Quran was sent, is confronted with disgrace instead of honour, going down further instead of making progress because we have forgotten the Quranic principles as a result of which we have to face insult, humiliation and failure.

He reiterated his resolve to make principles of holy Prophet (SAW), his great successors (A.S.) and the holy book Quran beacon of light as it guarantees our honour and dignity and walking on it is felicity and blessing.

The delegation while paying tributes to the Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Moosavi for continuing their struggle for the last quarter a century for achievement of high objectives, assured him that they, like the honoured people of Bangash Area of Sarhad province worked at the forefronts on every stage for national rights, would not hesitate in offering any sacrifice for ‘Wila-e-Ali’ and ‘Aza-e-Hussain’.

The zakireen included zakir Ishfaq Hussain, zakir Sharbat Ali, zakir Sultan Ali, zakir Faraz Ali, zakir Muhammad Iqbal Hussain, Zakir Sakhawat Hussain, zakir Mosaddaq Hussain, zakir Taqdeer Ali, zakir Zeyafat Ali, zakir Khayal Hussain, zakir Mobashir Hussain, Zakir Zeenat Ali and zakir Sakhawat Ali.

He said the unity, brotherhood, sacrifice displayed by the whole nation in this hour of trial and disaster had been exemplary.

He said the TNFJ Central Relief Committee for the Earthquake Victims has played its role shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces, and other national, religious, political parties and social organisations. Our teams are active in the affected areas day and night.

He made a fervent appeal to all philanthropist countrymen to help the earthquake victims with an open heart and deposit their donations with the President’s Relief Fund. Moreover, donations could also be deposited in nearby mosques, Imambargahs, religious institutions or directly in the office of TNFJ Central Relief Committee, he added.

Moosavi to regional council delegation: Colonial nefarious desires could only be thwarted through unity

RAWALPINDI, November 21: Islam desires welfare of the whole humanity and considers causing harm to anyone as ‘Haram’ (unlawful), Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said.

Talking to the office-bearers of TNFJ Regional Council Rawalpindi that called on him at the head of their President Allama Abul Hassan Taqi, he stated that agenda of the international Taghoot is to dominate the oppressed nations and the Islamic World, occupy their resources and reap the self-interest, therefore, first Afghanistan was destructed after staging the New York incident drama, then Iraq was attacked and now all energies are being utilised to divide and rule and for this purpose heinous tactics of suicide attacks on holy places, mosques and Imambargahs are being used so that Muslims keep on accusing each other for one another’s murder and the colonial powers could achieve their nefarious objectives.

Agha Moosavi said that all schools of thought settled in Iraq have understood the heinous colonial conspiracy and they are well aware that their nefarious desires could only be thwarted through mutual unity and brotherhood. Therefore, he said, leaders of all schools of thought in Iraq have announced their commitment not to let any tactic of Bush succeed.

He said the enemy also used the tactic of terrorism in motherland Pakistan and renowned personalities of different schools of thought and innocent citizens were killed one by one but Gen. Pervez Musharraf not only imposed ban on extremist terrorist groups to thwart that conspiracy but also enforced Anti-Terrorism Act for which a heavy price is being paid because the President of Pakistan was targeted of terrorism twice and five months ago worst incident of terrorism took place at Bari Sarkar in which we were the target of suicide bomber. He said in that incident dozens of Zaireen and Matmi Azadars kissed martyrdom and hundreds of them were still under treatment at different hospitals but, he said, we gave priority to the unity and brotherhood of the nation because we could be killed but would not allow Pakistan and its people to be killed.

The TNFJ chief said at present the motherland was confronted with earthly and other disasters but even in the present test, every Pakistani has played his important role in line with his capability and they were still helping the earthquake victims to the best of their ability that is laudable. He said any force in the world could not overcome a nation with such a great spirit.

He said that at the time of New York incident, we had said that evil with evil, oppression with oppression and terrorism with terrorism could not be wiped out. President Bush has done some good jobs also. Whereas he awarded Muhammad Ali (boxer), placed a copy of the Holy Quran at the White House Library, took extensive part in helping the earthquake victims in Pakistan but was keeping Syria and Iran on his target on the other and God knows better whose turn is next?

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Hamid Moosavi said Islam preaches peace and inner and outer of a Muslim is the same rather inner is brighter than the outer that is why Islam condemns hypocrisy. America being a super power, we would like to extend a sincere advice to her to display large-heartedness for the welfare of humanity so that Iraqi people could decide their destiny, Kashmir and Palestine issues should be settled in line with the United Nations Resolutions so as to make the whole world a hub of peace, and the money spent on weapons should be utilised for protecting the humanity.

He said we have no personal friendship or enmity rather we keep all those as friends who are friends of humanity and desire welfare of the whole humanity with sincerity of purpose.

Oct 8 tragedy severe test of Pakistanis … Moosavi announces universal Chehlum of earthquake martyrs

RAWALPINDI, November 20: Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has announced to observe universal Chehlum (fortieth day) of the countrymen who kissed martyrdom in disastrous earthquake in Azad Kashmir, Sarhad province and other areas, on Friday, November 25.

Addressing the office-bearers of TNFJ Relief Committee for Earthquake Victims that called on him here on Sunday under the leadership of Convener Hassan Raza Bokhari, he said death has to come. That is why Quran says:

Agha Moosavi said human being is the best amongst all creatures and Allah Has created everything for him while created the human being for Himself, but He also confronted the human being with problems and difficulties so as to test which one of them works well.

Because

Servant and what is his, is his master’s

It is His discretion whether he tests someone are makes him work.

He said the October 8 earthquake was the severe test of Pakistanis in which uncountable persons lost their life and kissed martyrdom. Quran Khwani, Majalis-e-Taraheem, and collective dua congregations should be organised for upgradation of their status and special prays should be offered for rehabilitation of the affected and early recovery of the injured.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Hamid Moosavi made it clear that every Pakistani is the part of our body, therefore, irrespective of the fact that to whom the government had extended invitation to attend the recent Donors’ Conference or not, we all are under the obligation to participate in the woes of the affected and help them with an open heart.

The Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya (TNFJ) has already made an appeal to the nation to deposit their donations in the President’s Relief Fund or forward the same to their nearby mosques, Imambargahs and religious institutions for this purpose. Moreover, they can also deposit their donations in the office of TNFJ Relief Committee directly.

Meanwhile, a TNFJ Committee has been formed to organise universal Chehlum of those who were martyred in the earthquake. Meesam Tammar has been nominated as Convener and Abu Nasr Kazmi as Secretary of this Committee.

Sadiq-e-Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) kissed martyrdom as a punishment for preaching and promoting the religion. He made it clear that Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan is the only representative organisation of the Maktab-e-Tashayyo that presents a point of view that Fiqh-e-Jafariya should be given an equal status along with other fiqhs because the government is bound to do so under the May 21, 1985 Junejo-Moosavi agreement.

Azadari-e-Mazloom Karbala was extensively promoted in his era that is why Shariah of Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S.) still exists in Karbala-e-Mualla.

RAWALPINDI, November 16: Allama Tajuddin Haideri, Central Vice-President of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan has said there is need to follow in the footsteps of true and pious guides of the religion with firmness so as to get the ailing humanity rid of all grieves and difficulties.

He was addressing the Mehfil-e-Aulia and Saleheen organised under the auspices of Qalander Committee. He said Islam is the religion of Faqr that negates rather openly condemns materialism, extremism, and all types of brutality and terrorism, that is why pious divine servants preached the practical lesson of kindness, sacrifice, brotherhood and mutual understanding and told them how to love humanity irrespective of classification and discrimination on the basis of sect, language, group, baradari, ethnic or any other values through their character and deeds.

He said we are leading a peaceful life in every nook and corner of this pious motherland owing the spiritual blessings of many Fuqara and Aulia that include: Hazrat Sakhi Lal Shahbaz Qalander, Hazrat Sakhi Shah Zain (Udharwal Chakwal), Hazrat Shah Nazar Deewan Badshah (Syed Kisraa), Hazrat Sakhi Mahmood Badshah (Islamabad), Hazrat Bari Imam (Nurpur Shahan Islamabad), Hazrat Sachal Sarmast, Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai, Hazrat Sain Saheeli Sarkar, Hazrat Sakhi Shah Piyara, Hazrat Shah Chan Chiragh, Hazrat Shah Jehan Muhammad Badshah, Hazrat Moazzam Darya Qalander, Hazrat Lal Shah Sorasi Biabani, Hazrat Sakhi Shah Muzammil Shah Badshah, Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Bahu, Hazrat Baba Farid Ganj Shakar, Hazrat Shah Shams Tabraiz, Hazrat Haider Bahadur Mashadi, Hazrat Shah Safeer Zaidi Imami, Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi, Hazrat Sakhi Muzammil Shah, Hazrat Shah Zaman Motianwali Sarkar, Hazrat Abhan Ali Shah, Hazrat Bibi Pak Daman, Hazrat Ghazi Imam Noon.

He made it clear that all these religious personalities were imbibed with the belief and Wilayat and were strictly against Sufism, and they preached the religion and lit the candles of Tauheed in the heart of the creature of Allah by wearing apparel of Taqayya of prevailing situation and environment.

He said the destructive earthquake that hit the country on October 8 was a great catastrophe and a lesson for all human beings. The only way to avoid the earthly and otherwise disasters is that we should attach ourselves with the great personalities of the religion while seeking forgiveness because any untoward catastrophe could be avoided by attaching ourselves with the truthful.

The Central Vice-President of TNFJ said that in a difficult situation when the whole nation was busy in rehabilitating the earthquake victims, the heinous act of terrorism near the PIDC House in Karachi on Tuesday is the worst example of brutality and those who carried out this act are the enemies of humanity, therefore, the government should arrest the culprits of the incident forthwith, unveil them before the people and give them an exemplary punishment.

Expressing grave concern over the delay in arrest of Bari Imam Incident culprits, he demanded from the government to arrest the culprits, give them exemplary punishment and pay the compensation to the bereaved families of the martyrs and the injured. Lauding the steps taken against terrorism by President Musharraf, he demanded effective implementation of the Anti-Terrorism Act so as to stop the banned organisations from working with new names.

Moosavi condemns Karachi terrorism, urges Musharraf to tackle with banned groups with iron hand
