Following seerat of holy religious guides vital to curb problems, Shah at Iftar dinner

RAWALPINDI, October 31: Syed Mazhar Ali Shah Advocate, Secretary General of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said that our objective and target is Wila-e-Ali (A.S.) and Aza-e-Hussain (A.S.) the soul of which is peace, brotherhood, and mutual understanding and they would not hesitate in offering any sacrifice for this pious mission under the leadership of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Moosavi.

He stated this while addressing an Iftar dinner hosted in his honour by TNFJ Divisional Council Rawalpindi here on Sunday. Office-bearers and workers of the Tehreek and religious and social elite attended the Iftar dinner in a large number.

Mazhar Ali Shah said Ramazanul Mubarik is the holy month of seeking forgiveness for sins and Allah sent Quran-e-Hakeem in this month that is a source of guidance for the whole humanity. He said restoration of peace and rooting out of problems and difficulties could be ensured in this era of anarchy and terrorism, by following the teachings of Quran and the seerat of pious religious leaders.

Lauding the steps taken by President Pervez Musharraf for rooting out terrorism, he stressed the need of putting a ban on the activities of the banned groups and tightening noose around them for effective implementation of the Anti-Terrorism Act. For this purpose, he said, government, opposition and people are under the obligation to express their hatred against the banned groups and avoid making them sit around them.

Secretary General TNFJ, Mazhar Ali Shah Advocate said, the government should get the assets of banned outfits checked through National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and lodge protest with the foreign States giving aid to them, at diplomatic level, prohibit active politics on sectarian and lingual basis. By doing this, not only the country would be put on the road of real democracy but would also help arrest disharmony and terrorism. He lamented that government circles and the media welcome the restricted groups that increases the incidents of terrorism instead of decreasing the same.

The TNFJ Divisional Council Rawalpindi President Allama Matloob Taqi, in his address on the occasion, resolved that the Mawalian-e-Haider-e-Karrar from the Rawalpindi Division will not hesitate in offering any sacrifice for the mission of ‘Wila’ and ‘Aza’ on the call of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Syed Hamid Moosavi.

RAWALPINDI – October 28: Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi, Central Secretary Information of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya has said the seerat, character, courage and bravery of Hazrat Mukhtar Saqafi (R.A.) is the beacon of light for the oppressed world.

He stated this while addressing on Thursday the office-bearers of Central Martyr Day Committee of the Mukhtar Students Organization (MSO) at the head of its Convener Khurram Shahzad Haideri.

He said Mukhtar Aal-e-Muhammad (R.A.) is that great a personality who was blessed with the prayer of ‘best reward’ by inheritor of Hussaini blood Hazrat Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.). The name of Mukhtar is that sign in the history of defence for right and independence that guarantees success of movements of oppressed and have-nots in every era.

Moosavi’s address on Youm-e-Mu’akhat: Following brotherhood message needed for wounded humanity deliverance

RAWALPINDI, October 27: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya has said disseminating the Islam’s message of brotherhood and following it practically is the need of the hour to make wounded and upset humanity embrace with deliverance and success in the two worlds.

He was delivering a special address on the occasion of Youm-e-Mu’akhat (Day of Brotherhood) at the Markaz (Centre) of Maktab-e-Tashayyo – TNFJ – here on Wednesday. He said justice and fair-play is the foundation of Islam, which gives priority to normalcy, and condemns all types of aggression, biases, oppression and brutality.

Rather there is a commandment to present Islam making it easy to easiest

Give good news and glad tidings to people and do not make them hate the religion of Allah, present the Allah’s commandments making the same easy and not put the people to toughness and difficulty

Moosavi said Islam has given utmost importance to brotherhood and fraternity, the religious society puts all people in one string, gives them the shape of one family every member of which keeps the same feelings for the other like his brother.

Believers are brothers to each other

He said Holy Prophet displayed the same on 12th Ramazanul Mubarik practically, gathered all Muhajireen and Ansaar and established the relationship of brotherhood in them and pointing towards Hazrat Ali Al-Murtaza (A.S.) said, you are my brother here and the Hereafter, on the basis of this brotherhood every Muslim gives priority to the other over him, neither he commits aggression against him nor he hands him over to any oppressor.

The TNFJ chief said example of the Islamic society is like a body in which if any one part of the body is affected the whole body becomes affected, that is why there is a saying that

One who sees morning and evening without arranging matters for Muslims, he has no right to be called a Muslim

He said at present the whole Islamic World is confronted with problems and there is no one to take care of them. So to say that we have forgotten not only Islam but also Quran and the sayings of the Holy Prophet (SAW) as a result of which not only the world of humanity but the world of religion and shariah is also confronted with the oppression and brutality at the hands of chief of the colonial powers and their agents.

They are carrying out aggression against Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq and many other States but the so-called champions of humanity and so-called defenders of religion and Shariah were playing the role of silent spectators.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Syed Hamid Moosavi said the month of Ramazan that has been termed as the Month of Allah is the month of blessings, mercy and forgiveness in which we should seek forgiveness for our sins from the core of our heart and should resolve to put all our energies in fulfilling the Divine Rights and achievements of the Rights of the Divine Servants as in it lay the deliverance of humanity and success of the world of oppressed and Shariah.

RAWALPINDI – October 26: A meeting of the TNFJ Central Youm-e-Aman (Peace Day) Committee was held here on Tuesday to organise programmes for observing Peace Day throughout the country marking the birth anniversary of Shahzada Sulah-o-Aman Hazrat Imam Hassan Mujtaba (A.S.) in line with the announcement by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi.

Convener Bin Musa Kazmi presided over the meeting in which Conveners for Federal Capital Islamabad, Northern Areas and all the four provinces were nominated.

Addressing the meeting, Bin Musa Kazmi said birth of Imam Hassan (A.S.) is the first happy occasion in the holy family of Risalat, therefore by organising greeting functions on this auspicious occasion, it should be declared upon the whole world that Islam is the religion of peace and the same is the message from us and peace is a blessing and guarantees deliverance.

He said the Mashaheer-e-Islam had always given preference to peace and tranquillity over murder and conflict, and practically condemned all types of aggression, brutality and oppression.

Bin Musa Kazmi appealed the countrymen to express hatred against all types of aggression, terrorism and terrorists by thronging the Peace Day programmes and pray for an end to the problems of the Islamic World and solution to all problems faced by it by expressing solidarity with the oppressed world.

Youm-ul-Huzn programs slam media, demand OIC role on Hazrat Khadija (S.A.)’s shrine reconstruction

ISLAMABAD – October 25: The death anniversary of Ummul Momineen Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) was observed as Youm-ul-Huzn (Day of Grief), throughout the country like other global parts with religious spirit, devotion and respect in line with the announcement made by Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya (TNFJ) headed by Syed Hamid Moosavi.

The day began with recitation from the Holy Quran soon after Fajr prayers in all mosques without any discrimination. In the twin cities of Federal Capital Islamabad and Rawalpindi, Youm-ul-Huzn Majalis were held followed by Matamdari.

At Ali Masjid Rawalpindi, Allama Muhammad Ali Haleemi while addressing the Majlis-e-Sehri marking the Youm-ul-Huzn said, Ummul Momineen Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) is that great Mohsina-e-Islam on whose blessings even Quran stands witness. This pious lady has the honour of being the first certifier of holy Prophet (SAW) and she showered all her wealth in the feet of her dearest personality i.e. Holy Prophet (SAW) for promotion of Islam, this way Allah considered her help and support as a help to Him.

He said her wealth spread from east to west that had been reserved for saying Kalma-e-Haq. The Hazrat Khadija’s home thus became the shelter not only for the Holy Prophet (SAW) but also for all Muslims. The seerat and character of Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) is the beacon of light for women at large and the whole world of humanity.

Central Secretary Information of the TNFJ Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi while addressing the Youm-ul-Huzn Conference organised by Anjuman Faiz-e-Punjtan at Zainul Abideen Hall said, the Mohsina-e-Islam Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) was the protector and defender of the message of Risalat in the initial tough and most difficult period of Islam. He said the Holy Prophet (SAW) had termed the year of her death as Aam-ul-Huzn (the Year of Grief). She had sacrificed all her wealth on the promotion of Islam and she was the first to recognise the Prophethood of the Rasool-e-Khuda (SAW) rather her sacrifice, steadfastness and love for Islam is the example to be followed by Muslim women at large. He said the seerat of Khadija (S.A.) is the beacon of light for womenfolk in every era.

Allama Mohsin Ali Hamdani, addressing Majlis Youm-ul-Huzn at Qasr-e-Abu Talib Mughalabad said, the uswah of Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) is the best and complete deed in strengthening Islamic economics in the present era.

While addressing Youm-ul-Huzn Majlis organised by Mukhtar Students Organisation Rawalpindi City, Allama Zahid Abbas Kazmi said Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) supported Islam in the most difficult era. Avoiding to remember the day of this great lady (S.A.) who spent all she had on Islam is tantamount to enmity with Islam. He said there would have been no concept of Victory of Makkah had there been no financial support of Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) and the manpower support by Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.).

A resolution adopted on the occasion strongly condemned the electronic and print media for ignoring the Youm-ul-Huzn. The resolution called upon the Muslim States to take practical steps for restoring the dignity of holy shrine of Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) in Jannatul Mualla and because today the spread of Islam in the whole world owes to this great lady (S.A.).

The gathering resolved to offer any sacrifice demanded from them by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi for the mission of ‘Wila’ and for promotion and protection of ‘Aza’.

Allama Basharat Hussain Imami while addressing Majlis-e-Youm-ul-Huzn at Central Imambargah Qasr-e-Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) Tarlai Kalan, Islamabad, said mother of Hazrat Batool (S.A.), Hazrat Khadija (S.A.) provided protection and stability to the message of Prophethood by sacrificing all her riches in the way of Islam.

He said complete silence of radio, television and newspapers of Pakistan, which came into being in the name of Islam, on the death anniversary of Mohsina-e-Islam (benefactress of Islam) is not only regrettable rather shameful. Matamdari followed the majlis.

Allama Sadqi addressed a Majlis marking the day at Jamia Mosque Jafaria I-9, Allama Ikhlaq Hussain Kazmi at Qasr-e-Imam Moosa Kazim (A.S.) I-10/4 and Allama Fakhar Zahidi at Isna Ashari Mosque Dhalyala Islamabad.

Islamic Students Organization organized a majlis Youm-ul-Huzn on the death anniversary of Malikatul Arab, Ummul Momineen Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) at Ali (A.S.) hall. Tabbasum Abbas Kazmi addressed and said Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) possesses this great honour that Islam became rich with her wealth, and it is riches of Hazrat Khadija (S.A.) by dint of which flag of Islam is fluttering in the whole world.

By a resolution on this occasion, the gathering stressed upon OIC – representative body of Islamic world – to take immediate notice of dilapidated condition of the holy grave of Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) in Jannatul Moalla (Cemetery of Moalla), Makka, Saudi Arabia, and take instant practical steps for restoration of its honour and dignity. Syed Bilawal Kazmi, Rawayat Hussain Rawi, Arif Al-Hussaini and others also addressed.

According to reports reaching the office of Youm-ul-Huzn Committee of TNFJ, majalis-e-aza marking Youm-ul-Huzn were also held in Lahore, Karachi, Larkana, Multan, Gujar Khan, Guranwala, Talagang, Lala Musa, Peshawar, Quetta, Sialkot, Attock, Kohat, Faisalabad, D.I.Khan, Haiderabad, Sakkhar, Nawabshah, Dadu, D.G.Khan, Mianwali, Bhakkar, Sheikhupura, Muzaffarabad, Skardu, Gilgit and many other cities.

TNFJ meet vows wont allow any outlawed outfit to use Azadari Card, demands ATA effective functioning, 1985 accord implementation

RAWALPINDI – October 24: An important meeting of central office-bearers of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya was held under the chairmanship of Secretary-General Syed Mazhar Ali Shah advocate aimed at reviewing the latest situation prevailing in the country and organizational matters.

Addressing the meeting, Mazhar Ali Shah Advocate made clear that protection of Wilayat-e-Ali (A.S.) and Azadari as well as achievement of religious rights of Maktab-e-Tashayyo are our topmost objectives. To meet these holy targets, the TNFJ is practically struggling with full sincerity in the discerning leadership of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Syed Hamid Moosavi, he added.

He said at present the whole world, particularly Pakistan is confronted with the worst evil – terrorism -, and steps taken by President General Pervez Musharraf to curb terrorism are laudable.

Shah said that by the government’s current steps to curb terror incidents, the banned groups have began deceiving propaganda in a bid to restore their reputation on one hand while on the other to fulfil their specific political aims creating disturbance in people. He stressed that those elements wailing restriction on Azadari have earlier done politics on corpses but they suffered disgrace. And now they have once again become active with new names and disguise by using the card of Azadari.

He said it has been cleared by the statement of Federal Information Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed that the government has imposed ban on the activities of only banned organizations, and all other programs will remain continue as usual. Continuation of Tarwih, Mahafil-e-Naat, Majalis and other pure religious gatherings during the month of Ramazan-ul-Mubarik being attended by all schools of thought stands witness.

Shah expressed his surprise and regrets that some private TV channels and newspapers give these banned groups prominent coverage despite government’s ban, while the government is making mere lip service and issuing press statements instead of initiating law. Newspapers stand witness that leading persons of outlawed outfits are seen with the ministers in their iftar banquets and other official and non-official parties.

The TNFJ Secretary-General questioned how terrorism could be curbed in such a situation? He reiterated this decisive declaration of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Syed Hamid Moosavi that neither our forefathers accepted restriction on Azadari, nor do we, and nor our coming generations will do the same.

He urged the followers of Fiqh-e-Jafariya to hold Azadari programs with courage and boldness, and expressing open hatred with banned groups remain connected with the Centre of Maktab-e-Tashayyo – TNFJ. He vowed that nobody would be allowed to bargain on Wilayat-e-Ali (A.S.), Azadari and rights of Millat-i-Jafariya.

By a resolution adopted unanimously, the participants of the meeting demanded from the government to tighten noose around outlawed groups to curb terrorism, take notice of their activities under new names and their press statements besides ensuring implementation of Anti-Terrorism Act.

The resolution stressed that Pakistan is combined inheritance of all schools of thought, and its protection, defence, survival and stability lie in fulfilment of rights of all on equal level, therefore the government should fulfil rights of all on bases of equality fulfilling demands of justice, and implement Junejo-Moosavi Agreement 21 May, 1985 for resolution of long-standing problems of Maktab-e-Tashayyo.

Another resolution demanded formation of broad-based tribunal to probe into all terror incidents, and punishment for perpetrators without any concession. The resolution appealed to the people to remain vigilant, recognize their friends and foes, express hatred with banned outfits and let them not penetrate their ranks.

The meeting voiced solidarity with all freedom movements and oppressed of Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan and Iraq, and prayed for resolution of problems being faced by Islamic world and end of their sufferings.

All programs plus Day of Grief will be held with fervor during Ramazan, declares TNFJ

RAWALPINDI – October 23: Central Spokesman of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi has said that as per saying of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, Azadari is our jugular vein on which there is no restriction.

In a statement issued here on Saturday, he said rumours that ‘the government has imposed ban on Azadari Majalis, traditional mourning processions and other religious gatherings’ were rife from some banned organisations owing to ban on the activities of outlawed groups, though a clarification has been made from the Federal Information Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed that ban has only been imposed on the activities of outlawed groups while all other programmes would go unhindered. Therefore, he said all schools of thought were organising their programmes in a normal manner while Majalis and Azadari processions are also going on.

The TNFJ Spokesman called upon Azadaran, organisers of Majalis and Matmi processions to recognise their friends and foes and express their hatred against the banned terrorist organisations.

He said that according to an announcement by Centre of Maktab-e-Tashayyo – TNFJ -, death anniversary of Ummul Momineen Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) will be observed as Youm-ul-Huzn (Day of Grief) on 10 Ramazan throughout the country; 15 Ramazan will be observed as Youm-e-Aman (Peace Day) to mark the birth anniversary of Hazrat Imam Hassan (A.S.); 3-day Ayyam-e-Aza (Mourning Days) programmes marking the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Ali (A.S.) will be held from 19 to 21 Ramazan; Jashan-e-Nazool-e-Quran (Quran Revelation Festival) will be held on 23 Ramazan; and Youm-ul-Quds Himayat-e-Mazloomin (Day of Quds Solidarity with Oppressed) programmes will be held on Jumatul Wida (last Friday of Ramazan) as a matter of routine with usual dignity and religious spirit.

The Spokesman demanded from the government to improve the law and order situation further so that all programmes may held in a peaceful manner. He called upon the Muwaliyan-e-Nabi (SAW) and Ali (A.S.) not to lend their ears to the rumours being spread by the banned organisations. Motherland is dearer to us and the belief is the dearest of all to us and no sacrifice would be spared for its protection and defence.

He reiterated the clear-cut announcement of the Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Syed Hamid Moosavi that neither their forefathers accepted any restriction on Azadari nor they are going to do so and even our generations would not accept any such restriction. He called upon the Ahle Tashayyo to remain attached with their Markaz (Centre) i.e. Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya and announce their hatred against the banned groups at all levels.

Fasting teaches shunning forbidden acts and encourages for good, Bukhari addresses at Iftar banquet

RAWALPINDI – October 20: Additional Secretary General of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Syed Shujaat Ali Bukhari has said the month of fasting is treasury of blessings, felicities and forgiveness, benefiting which we can fulfil the objective of our creation.

He was addressing a gathering on the occasion of Iftar banquet thrown in his honour by a religious and social notability Khwaja Ali Hussain Jafari. Shujaat Bukhari said whereas fasting teaches shunning forbidden acts, there it encourages for good acts. That is why human being spends most of his time during day and night in worship of Allah for divine nearness. The holy month of Ramazan is the best source of safety from sins as well as divine blessings and favours.

The TNFJ official said at present whole world, particularly beloved motherland Pakistan is confronted with terrorism-like-ulcer, and for its eradication, practical display of mutual unity, brotherhood, and organization is paramount need of the hour.

He said President General Pervez Mushaarf took bold step by imposing ban on terrorist groups, and an important development was made to curb terrorist in the form of Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA), but owing to ineffective implementation of ATA and activities of banned groups under new names as well as their joining in governmental institutions and committees, the terrorist elements got strength due to which there exists uncertain situation in the country.

He said faithful of banned organizations, part of the administration, are teasing innocent citizens unduly while activists of outlawed outfits are not only part of peace committees rather media also fully glorifies them with new names. Without eliminating this administrative hypocrisy, curbing terrorism is difficult. He demanded from the government to form broad-based tribunal to probe into all incidents of terrorism and punish the perpetrators.

He also forcefully demanded from the government to make special arrangements during country-wide Youm-ul-Huzn (Day of Grief) programs on 10 Ramazan-ul-Mubarik marking the death anniversary of Ummul Momineen Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.).

Zaidi says fasting best source of avoiding forbidden acts

RAWALPINDI – October 19: Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi, Central Secretary General of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya has said that fasting is the best source of controlling self and avoiding forbidden acts.

He stated this while addressing a religious gathering on the topic of virtues of the month of Ramazan organised by Ghulaman-e-Ali Asghar (A.S.) at Bargah Qasr-e-Rubab here on Tuesday. He said for the superiority of Ramazan, it is enough that Quran was sent during this holy month that provides solution to every problem of the human beings and is a source of guidance for them.

Zaidi said all schools of thought bow down before Allah seeking forgiveness and the doors of His blessings are open, therefore, it is obligatory for the rulers to give the rights of the men of Allah so as to claim Allah’s happiness.

He called upon the government to make special protective measures throughout the country on this occasion during Majalis-e-Aza and Matmi processions while media should publish special edition on the pious Seerat of Ummul Momineen Hazrat Khadija-tul-Kubra (S.A.) and her sacrifices for Islam.

RAWALPINDI – October 18: Chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said dream of resolving the issues of the Islamic World could not come true without getting rid of rulers playing agent to the colonial powers.

He stated this while talking to a delegation that called on him at the head of renowned intellectual, Europe Council for Shia Scholars General Secretary, Khateeb of Imamia Mission London Syed Raza Hussain, here at Maktab-e-Tashayyo Pakistan headquarters (TNFJ).

Moosavi lamented that Muslim rulers were under the influence of others and their rein is in the hands of international colonial powers and their agents which they consider as key to prolonging their rule. On the other hand, he said, the people who are outside the government, also consider the patronage of these powers a go ahead signal for reaching the corridors of power.

He said the Islamic World has undergone big incidents but the OIC never played any important role. Had the OIC adopted joint strategy exercising courage then there would have been no attack on Afghanistan, no bloodshed of the people in Iraq.

He made it clear that extinction is for materialism while survival is for spiritualism only. The problems would remain the same unless work is done on individual and collective level in the light of realities. He said if the international powers accept the realities then all problems including the restoration of peace could be resolved but it considers it a threat in doing so.

The TNFJ chief said that dictators and tyrant rulers in every era ignored the real representatives right from the beginning to-date and considered them a hurdle in their way but realities could not be thwarted. He said we could be cut into pieces like our forefathers but could not leave the right path. Like our forefathers did not encroach upon trust and avoided bargain, similarly we and our coming generations would follow the suit. He said it is declared by Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan openly that its conscience is satisfied on what it has done and is still doing with sincerity of purpose for achieving its high targets.

He said at present what is happening to the Islamic World, particularly the Maktab-e-Tashayyo provides food for thought.

Everyone is under the obligation to take stock of the situation that how could he make his Markaz stronger and stronger. He said the overseas expatriates will have to play their positive role in thwarting the conspiracies of enemies of religion and motherland under

He said everybody should look at his own before pointing his finger towards others. Everybody talk about his rights but he should ponder over himself what responsibilities and duties he owes to others. All powers should keep in mind that violence does not decrease but increase problems while patience and forbearance resolve the issues.

Syed Raza Hussain apprised the Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya about the problems faced by Muslims in European countries and lauded the Tehreek efforts in disseminating the universal message of Islam.
