RAWALPINDI, April 6: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said there is no harm in seeking people’s point of view by the government to continue policies in the interest, development and solidarity of the nation and the country. Giving his reaction on President of Pakistan Gen. Pervez Musharraf’s address to the nation he said it is not an extraordinary step in any democratic, religious and Islamic society to seek people’s point of view on matters of important nature as it helps bring forth the correct thinking of the people that helps formulating national strategy besides avoiding to thrust any decision on the people. He said such a situation becomes a necessity when plans and policies prepared by any government could not complete within the fixed period and the chances are rife that such plans and policies would not materialise if that government not remains in power any more. 

Agha Moosavi welcomed the resolve of Gen. Pervez Musharraf that he does not want to make changes in the basic structure of the Constitution but as the Supreme Court has given him power to amend the Constitution and if the President makes any amendment in the Constitution for Referendum in the light of that constitutional and lawful relaxation then it would not be termed an unconstitutional step in the light of the Supreme Court permission. He said the history indicates that even Shariats continued to change in the past and only Shariat-e-Muhammadi is the last Shariat. About half a dozen constitutions were framed in Pakistan, last one in 1973 that saw so much amendments that Constitution lost its essence owing to these amendments, he added. That is why, he said some one had said that every generation is a different and new nation that keeps the rights to frame its own Constitution because amendments in Constitution could be made to make is commensurate with the requirements of the time and time and requirements keep on changing.

The TNFJ chief said dividing religion and politics is the Taghooti conspiracy, Islam is the religion of God and His manifesto that presents solution to every walk of life, is a complete code of life while politics is the name of running the government affairs and is subservient to religion. He said the Holy Prophet (SAW) had set up an Islamic society and laid the foundation of an exemplary Islamic State. He said the whole world is aware that the previous government has itself created reason for Gen. Pervez Musharraf’s takeover on October 12 and that Pakistan achieved unusual importance on international level after the September 11 New York incident. He said only the present President could get some of the government’s steps, particularly Anti-Terrorism Ordinance, implemented. Therefore, it would be wise if the whole nation gives priority to the interests of the country and the nation, he added. He stressed the need of making the current policies coherent saying that the country was running through a critical situation and there is heavy deployment of our perpetual enemy’s forces on our borders. He questioned whether Gen. Pervez Musharraf is President or not? Definitely he would be considered constitutional President, therefore seeking the point of view from the people by the President of Pakistan could prove a preface for general elections, he added. 

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said we consider all political parties and their leaders respectable, therefore, we appeal them to lay down their election activities after 8th Rabiul Awwal keeping in view the Ayyam-e-Aza because in case of any anarchy all responsibility would lay on those elements who care not the interests of the nation and the country. He called upon the President of Pakistan to set the date of Referendum after the Chehlum of Shuhada-e-Karbala that expected to fall on May 4 or 5.

RAWALPINDI, April 5: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said the world of humanity was passing through different types of crises at present and the worst issue was the ongoing massacre of humanity in the garb of rooting out terrorism, which is a result of Hippocratic and one-sided attitude of United Nations, OIC, and Arab League. He stated this while talking to a representative delegation of TNFJ Divisional Council Rawalpindi that called on him at the head of Allama Syed Taqi Al-Naqvi. He said it was crystal clear that all international organisations were following the dual standards and were hostage to the international Taghoot who is misusing them for self-interest as they have no strategy of their own to follow.

Agha Moosavi said people talk about the constitution despite the fact that at present America was in the driving seat along with its Zionist and Hindu agents while the world of humanity was confronted with anarchy. He said Israel has rejected the United Nations demand point blank and was not even considering the requests from European Union delegation, OIC and Arab League which indicates that they all were shedding the crocodile tears. He said it has now become clear that New York and Washington incidents were merely a justification tool for interference. He said the oppressed world could only raise the voice of protest but that voice is also being suppressed. He said Islam is against all types of aggression and terrorism, preaches peace and is survival of humanity while there are about five dozens of Muslim States. Similarly, he said there are also a quite number of oppressed nations and countries. If the United Nations does not give up its duplicity then all these States should alight themselves from it adopting a joint strategy, he added.

The TNFJ chief said if Israel does not bow down to any request then the whole Muslim World should get up against Israel and make her bow down to their feet. He said Vajpayee was shedding crocodile tears while the United Nations session was just fill in the blank. If the United Nations is sincere in real terms then it should take a courageous step to force the Israel pullout from Palestine and to drive out Indian occupation forces from the Held Valley and get its Resolutions implemented resolving Palestine and Kashmir issues keeping to the desire of their respective people. He said they are the followers of Imam Mazloom (A.S.) who did not hesitate from raising the voice of protest despite being ill, chained and fettered.

The delegation on this occasion told Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi about the disappointed performance of the Administration vis-à-vis investigation into the incident of Shah-e-Najaf Khayaban-e-Sir Syed. They said the police have failed in arresting and unveiling the culprits of the assassins of the Shuhada while the bereaved families of the Shuhada were being unnecessarily harassed and were allegedly being pressurised to get statements of their own choice from them. The delegation told him that Chehlum of Shuhada Shah-e-Najaf would be observed after 8th Rabiul Awwal because Gham-e-Hussain is foremost of all other grieves and the Ayyam-e-Aza are commensurate with remembrance of Mazloom-e-Karbala. The delegation told him that many innocent people including the workers of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya were still behind the bars for the last 85 days after being labelled of banned organisations and they have not been set free despite instructions issued by the Federal Government, which is condemnable. The delegation expressed its concern over the ongoing political activities on the part of government contrary to the dignity of Ayyam-e-Aza. They said all political activities should be kept pending till the Chehlum of Shuhada-e-Karbala.

RAWALPINDI, April 5: Majalis-e-Aza to observe the “Ashra Beemar-e-Karbala” in connection with the Shahadat of Hazrat Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) continued on Friday also in the light of the announcement made by Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. Addressing Majalis at different Imambargahs and Aza-Khanas, Ulema, Waizeen and Zakireen in their address threw light in detail, on the battle of right and evil highlighting the achievements of Beemar-e-Karbala (A.S.).

Khateebs in their sermons at Juma congregations while stressing the need to ensure sanctity and dignity of Ayyam-e-Aza said Muharram is commensurate with Shuhada-e-Karbala therefore the powers that be and the political circles should avoid political activities during the Ayyam-e-Aza. Syed Saqlain Ali Bokhari, Imam Juma Wal Jamaat Markazi Shia Jamia Masjid Darbar Shah Chan Chiragh addressing the central Juma congregation expressed complete solidarity with the freedom fighters of Karbala-e-Palestine and Kashmir, strongly condemned anti-Muslim riots in India and Israeli aggression in Palestine, and called upon all international organisations including the United Nations to fulfil their responsibilities by getting stopped the oppressed and naked activities of international colonial powers and their Zionist and Hindu agents forthwith. A resolution passed on the occasion strongly demanded from the government to give special attention to the “Ashra Beemar-e-Karbala” programmes by giving full coverage on the media.

Haji Ghulam Murtaza Chauhan, TNFJ District Rawalpindi President while addressing “Majlis Beemar-e-Karbala” at Imambargah Zainul Abideen said the grief of Imam Aali Muqaam (A.S.) is the joint inheritance of all schools of thought because Hussain ibne Ali (A.S.) sacrificed all his belongings following the right path and gave an eternal lease of life to human values. He strongly demanded from the government to make special arrangements in Majalis and Azadari processions during the “Ashra Beemar-e-Karbala” and give proper coverage to these programmes on media.

Allama Syed Mohsin Ali Hamdani, TNFJ Provincial Council Punjab Caretaker while addressing “Majlis Beemar-e-Karbala” at Qasr-e-Abu Talib Mughalabad said after Shahadat-e-Hussain, Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) highlighted the Paigham-e-Hussainiyyat on the whole world despite being chained. The Beemar-e-Karbala (A.S.), he said shattered Yazidi courts by delivering heart-rending addresses. A resolution moved on the occasion by Anjuman Ghulaman-e-Abu Talib was adopted which called upon the government to avoid political activities during Ayyam-e-Aza by pending the same till 8th Rabiul Awwal. Another resolution demanded immediate release of all innocent people including the TNFJ workers who were behind the bars for the last 85 days in different districts of the Punjab Province.

Khateeb Fateh-e-Farat while addressing an annual Majlis organised by Malik Zulfiqar Ali in Model Town Humak said Nawasa-e-Rasool Hussain ibne Ali (A.S.) is Nasir-e-Shariat while Hazrat Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) is the defender and protector of Paigham-e-Hussainiyyat who brought the religion of God to the brink of eternal life by bearing the brunt of chains, shackles and fetters. He said the courage and commitment of Syed-e-Sajjad (A.S.) is the best example to root out Yazidi aggression even today.

RAWALPINDI, April 4: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said that the oppressed and Muslim people confronted with brutalities, oppression and terrorism will have to follow the seerat and character of Ali bin Hussain (A.S.). He stated this while talking to the delegation of Provincial Muharram Committee TNFJ Punjab that called on him at the head of Syed Ali Abid Shah here on Thursday.

Agha Moosavi said besides being the inheritor of Zibh-e-Azeem, Hazrat Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) was the protector and defender of bereaved families and the Aseeran-e-Karbala who bravely defended the blood of Shuhada-e-Karbala, exercised exemplary patience and fortitude and delivered heart-rending addresses in the streets of Kofa and Shaam and in the courts of Yazid and Ibne Ziad despite being weak and ill making it clear to the whole world that the ruling class accepts to follow the Kalam-e-Illahi but they have no link with Quran. They were dacoits in the garb of leaders and were bent upon weakening Shariat through their shameful deeds, he said adding that God has promised to defend his Zikr, Constitution, and Laws Himself.

The TNFJ chief said Syed-us-Sajideen provided the real proof of being Allah’s spokesman and gave a strategy to disseminate the message of Hussainiyyat that gave eternal live to the message of God. He said the strategy of the Beemar-e-Karbala is that no movement could succeed without any training manifesto, and basis therefore all those movements that are launched with faith in God, spiritualism, recognition of God, and on the basis of religion and Shariat could not fail despite all evil tactics of Nimroud, Firon, Haman and Shaddad.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi was optimistic that movements of Palestinian and Kashmiri freedom fighters would definitely succeed despite could shouldered attitude of the United Nations, OIC, Arab League and other international organisations who were doing nothing but just passing some resolutions and giving lip-service.

He stated this while talking to a delegation of Shia elite from Muzaffargarh that called on him at the head of Malik Ghulam Shabbir Advocate here on Wednesday. He said the internal anarchy amongst the Islamic World and the oppressed nations is the biggest crisis while international colonial powers and their agents were causing harm to the whole mankind in the name of rooting out terrorism.

The TNFJ chief said on one hand anti-Muslim riots were going on in India and the whole world was keeping quiet on it while Israel has rejected the Prince Abdullah Peace Formula and was carrying out bloodshed in Palestine besieging Yasser Arafat on the other. He said Arab League, OIC and United Nations were just banking on resolutions and peace is being begged from the chief of the terrorist world i.e. America which is like asking the assassin for justice. He said international colonial powers keep their self-interest dearer while the Muslim rulers are concerned about their power. He said had the Muslim rulers kept dear the honour and dignity of oppressed and Muslim people, interest in Islam, religion and Shariat then the Taghooti world would not have in a position to cause any harm to the oppressed and Muslim nations.

Agha Moosavi said the biggest weapon of a Momin and the oppressed in such conditions is “Dua” therefore they should turn toward Almighty Allah with unison and fervour, and decide to give up their sins and mistakes then they would receive help from God and would become victorious. He said the oppressed nations and the Muslim people should not give in their right to self-determination come what may. He said a lesson from great personality amongst the Masheer-e-Islam Syed-us-Sajideen (A.S.) is to remain determined while tackling oppression and brutality as it guarantees survival and blessings for whole of the mankind. 

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi made it clear that Islam is not only against every type of brutality but also condemns it. That is why, he said Pakistan government has issued the Anti-Terrorism Ordinance but was not implementing it. He said those powers were creating hurdles in the active implementation of this Ordinance who do not desire to see religion and motherland stable and who have put innocent people including the workers of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan and some personalities from Muzaffargarh. He demanded from the military leadership to tackle the terrorists with an iron hand and release the innocent people immediately so as to thwart every conspiracy hatched by the enemies of religion and motherland and to put the nation and the country on road to development and honour.

RAWALPINDI, April 2: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said the world of humanity would have to differentiate between defence and aggression, and between terrorism and right of self-determination. He stated this while addressing the office-bearers of TNFJ District Council Islamabad here on Tuesday. He said at present the colonial powers, their chief, and her agents were carrying out oppression and brutalities against Muslim people and the oppressed nations in the name of terrorism. The oppressed and aggressors were being treated on equal footing, he added.

The TNFJ chief said one-third population of the world comprises Muslim people while a small minority was bent upon crushing the whole humanity just to maintain its supremacy on the other. He said the representative body of the world nations, the United Nations has never played justifiable role vis-à-vis the rights of Mustazefin, oppressed and have-nots as a result of which America and her agents were encouraged. He said the situation has reached to the extent that Israel has not only rejected the Peace Formula presented by Prince Abdullah approved in the Arab League session but was also killing Palestinians unabated.

Agha Moosavi said Israel not only rejects the United Nations Resolutions but also turns a deaf ear to the demand of China, Vietnam, Turkey and Russia regarding pulling out forces. Arabs keep a quiet if the Yemen President demands summoning of Arab League summit, he said adding that no joint strategy could be finalised during the OIC meeting yet. 

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said the only demand of Muslim and oppressed nations is to live and let others live. In these circumstances, he said the people all over the world were under the obligation to display unity and brotherhood and force their rulers to give up submissive attitude against the international Taghoot besides exerting pressure on the United Nations that they would alight themselves from it if it failed to adopt justifiable attitude vis-à-vis Kashmiris and Palestinians.

He said the Muslim rulers should keep in mind that Taghooti monsters were bent upon brutality and desire to devour all one by one. The Muslim rulers should, therefore, give up Hippocratic attitude, lay down a joint strategy and announce their commitment not to bow down before anyone else but Allah, the success would then kiss their feet, he added.

The TNFJ chief said knowledge about the Mashaheer of religion, Shariat, Tauheed, Risalat and Wilayat was necessary because love with these personalities is termed obligatory. He said activity of any wise person does not lack wisdom and the key of the strategy is to follow the seerat and character of the Khasan-e-Khuda as their only objective was to restore justice and fair-play and to root out oppression and brutality. They sacrificed all they had to achieve that objective, he added.

Agha Moosavi said one of the personalities amongst them is that of Beemar-e-Karbala Hazrat Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) who presented active display of patience, forbearance, courage and firmness after Shahadat-e-Hussain that is till a beacon of light for the oppressed nations and Muslim people even today. He said the Khasan-e-Illahi proved in every era of oppression and brutality from Adam (A.S.) to Khatim (SAW) and from Khatim (SAW) to-date that they could be gaoled, fetterws and handcuffed but could not be stopped from following the right path.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said even today Vajpayee and Sharon were playing “holi” with the blood of innocent Muslims in Kashmir and Palestine having a pat of chief of the oppressive world i.e. America while Arab League, OIC, United Nations and other international organisations have just reduced their role on just passing the resolutions. They could not fulfil their responsibilities in that manner, he added. He said the wrath of God is soundless, it may come late but would devour the darkness. He was optimistic that justice and fair-play would become victorious in the end.

RAWALPINDI, March 31: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan while strongly condemning the incident of terrorism in Bahawalpur has demanded from the government to arrest the assassins forthwith and give them exemplary punishment besides to continue the fool-proof protective arrangements taken during the Ashra-e-Muharram so as to restore peace. Giving reaction on the tragic Shahadat of caretaker of Imambargah Bhattian Wali Shams and his son, he termed it a continuation of terrorism incident carried out before Ashra-e-Muharram at Shah-e-Najaf Rawalpindi, and some other incidents of terrorism in Karachi and Lahore. He said we still contend with our principles stand that our perpetual enemy was behind these incidents.

The TNFJ chief said the Ashra-e-Muharram concluded with peace, respect and dignity credit for which goes to Gen. Pervez Musharraf who created an unmatched example by personally monitoring the arrangements during the Ashra-e-Muharram, and took a courageous step by issuing Anti-Terrorism Ordinance but unfortunately some elements within the government were averse to implement it. He called upon the President of Pakistan to initiate an enquiry because if the terrorists had been arrested after the announcement of President of Pakistan then the situation would not have taken the present worse turn. He lamented that members of those organisations were arrested in the name of terrorism on which no ban was imposed and Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya is one of them. He said Gen. Musharraf should initiate an enquiry that what stops the authorities concerned from putting a hand on terrorists and why they have put the innocent people behind the bars? He said nothing could happen during the Ashra-e-Muharram owing to personal interest of the President of Pakistan and if he get the Anti-Terrorism Ordinance implemented under his personal supervision then the monster of terrorism could be arrested.

Agha Moosavi said restoration of peace was the important need of the hour. He said many tall claims were made but it is a matter of concern that the assassins of Masjid Shah-e-Najaf Rawalpindi, Karachi, Lahore, and Mach (Balochistan) incidents of terrorism were not yet arrested. He therefore demanded from the provincial governments to utilise all their resources in unveiling the assassins and awarding them exemplary punishment. He said the whole world of humanity was confronted with terrorism and it was the conspiracy hatched by international Taghoot to create unrest amongst oppressed nations and the Muslim people to the extent that they start going in different directions making the things easier for them giving them a clean chit to achieve their self-interest.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said life of Muslims in India has been made difficult, head of the Palestinian State is besieged and raising voice of help. He said the international colonial powers were in control of everything everywhere and were busy in strengthening their presence there. He said we would have to follow the Asswah-e-Shabbiri and the path of Ali ibne Hussain (A.S.) to sail through all these tests and would have to give priority to religion, promotion of Shariat and survival of humanity to all other matters.

He stated this while talking to a representative delegation of TNFJ Kashmir Council that called on him at the head of Syed Khurshid Kazmi here on Saturday.

The TNFJ chief said international Taghoot was afraid of Hussainiyyat that is commensurate with oppression and that prefers death with honour to life in disgrace. He said the whole world including the Indian opposition has condemned POTO law introduced in India, similarly the Arab League in its session agreed upon Prince Abdullah’s peace formula under its joint strategy but the biggest Satan of the world i.e. America lauded the POTO law on one hand and Israel rejected the peace formula destructing Palestine on the other. He said while Yasser Arafat has announced to prefer martyrdom to his arrest, America did not condemn Israeli brutalities. Earlier, America hit Afghanistan in the garb of New York and Washington incidents, he added.

Agha Moosavi said the American-Indian-Israeli activities provide food for thought to the whole world of humanity. He said many Arab States did not participate in the Arab League meeting, OIC is keeping quiet and the United Nations has summoned emergent meeting but the situation remains the same.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi called upon the OIC to summon its emergent meeting and lay a concrete strategy aimed at resolving the Palestine and Kashmir issues after a thorough discussion terming these issues as issues faced to the whole mankind otherwise the international reptile would devour them all one by one. He made it clear that Hazrat Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) is the guiding force behind all independence movements the world over and he is the one who proved by tearing apart the chains of slavery that they are the leaders of independence and that brutalities could be checked by following their pious seerat.

RAWALPINDI, March 30: “Ashra Beemar-e-Karbala” Majalis began all over the country to mark the Shahadat of Hazrat Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) keeping to the announcement made by Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. Ulema-e-Karaam, Waizeen and Zakireen addressed Majalis-e-Aza in all big cities and towns of the country highlighting the Asswah Syed-us-Sajjad (A.S.) in detail. In Rawalpindi, surrounding area and in Federal Capital Islamabad Majalis were held in different Imambargahs and Aza-Khanas while Matamdari was also organised at the end of these Majalis.

A Majlis-e-Aza was organised at a religious institution at Ali Market, Satellite Town under the auspices of Hayyiet Tulaba Islamia where Allama Syed Zahid Abbas Kazmi, in his address, said that Hazrat Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) was the stalwart of patience and forbearance besides being the defender and protector of Aseeran-e-Karbala. He said the Imam (A.S.) unveiled the fake face of Islam from Yazidiyyat in his heart-rending addresses. He said the pious Asswah of Beemar-e-Karbala (A.S.) would continue to be an example to follow for the oppressed world. Malik Taimur-ul-Hassan, Arif Hussaini and Mudassar Kazmi also addressed the Majlis after which Matamdari was also performed.

Matamdari was performed at Markazi Imambargah G-6/2 Islamabad after Majlis-e-Aza while Majalis Beemar-e-Karbala were also organised at Qasr-e-Abu Talib Mughalabad, Qasr-e-Khadijatul Kubra Tarlai Kalan Islamabad, and Imambargah Zainul Abideen Satellite Town. A resolution passed at these Majalis strongly demanded from the government to strictly implement the Anti-Terrorism Ordinance and release all innocent people including the innocent workers of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya who were behind the bars for over two and half months in the name of banned organisations.

Another resolution demanded that like Federal Interior Ministry and Sarhad Prorvince, Muharram Cells should also be formed at all other provinces to work till 12th Rabiul Awwal. A yet another resolution strongly condemned the Indian and Israeli oppression and brutalities against the oppressed people of Karbala-e-Kashmir and Palestine and called upon the so-called champions of human rights i.e. international organisations to play their role in getting these brutalities stopped forthwith.

RAWALPINDI, March 29: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said Hazrat Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) was the guardian and inheritor of the objective of Hussainiyyat who not only safeguarded the blood of Shuhada-e-Karbala but also protected the inheritors of Shuhada besides acting as a true spokesman of Mission-e-Hussainiyyat despite being chained. He stated this while announcing “Ashra Beemar-e-Karbala” from Muharram 15 to 25 in connection with the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Zainul Abideen
(A.S.).

The TNFJ chief Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) was the inheritor of prophets and the grandson of the Holy Prophet (SAW) who sacrificed all his belongings in the hot plains of Karbala proving that he keeps the inheritance of prophets dearer than anything else in the universe. He said the exemplary and everlasting Khutbaat of Hazrat Syed-us-Sajjad (A.S.) after the Shahadat-e-Hussain checked the Yazidi propaganda and showed the way to the oppressed nations to live with honour, that is why Asswah Beemar-e-Karbala (A.S.) is the beacon of light for the oppressed world grappled with the international colonial powers. 

Agha Moosavi said the great son of Hussain (A.S.) proved through his deeds that the objective of “Qayam-e-Hussaini” was supremacy of Islam, respect to mankind, and protection of the message of Tauheed, Risalat and Wilayat. In other words, he said Hussain (A.S.) has proved through his sacrifice offered in Karbala that he had come there for survival of humanity and mankind and had sacrificed all he had for this pious objective. He said if the achievement of an objective is difficult then to safeguard that objective is even more difficult and Beemar-e-Karbala made that impossible task possible. He preached the message of a new life for the freedom fighters all over the world while he himself was chained and wearing heavy iron collar and fetters. Imam Sajjad (A.S.) delivered heart-rending addresses in the streets of Kofa and Shaam and in the courts of Ibne Ziad and Yazid declaring in unequivocal terms that they were bound to follow the commandments of Allah only and they could not be kept away from the right path despite running horses on their bodies. He declared that they would continue raising the Kalma-e-Haq on the point of spear but would not bow down to any
Yazid.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has made a fervent appeal to all countrymen to pay homage to the seerat, character and unmatched spirit of sacrifice showed by Hazrat Zainul Abideen (A.S.) and express solidarity with all movements launched by the oppressed the world over in general, and the freedom fighters of Karbala-e-Kashmir and Palestine in particular, during the
“Ashra Beemar-e-Karbala”. 

Meanwhile, a TNFJ Central Committee has been formed to lay and organise programmes for “Ashra Beemar-e-Karbala” from Muharram 15 to 25, throughout the country. Syed Haider Zaidi has been nominated Convener and Raza Abidi as Secretary of this Committee.

RAWALPINDI, March 28: Syed Mazhar Ali Shah Advocate, Central Secretary General of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said that all schools of thought through displaying exemplary unity and brotherhood during the Ashra-e-Muharram have proved that Islamiyan-e-Pakistan are united. He stated this while talking to office-bearers of Markazi Muharram Committee at TNFJ headquarters here on Thursday. He said the way homage was paid to Nawasa-e-Rasool Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.), Ahle Bait Athaar and sincere companions of the Imam (A.S.), is laudable.

He said all schools of thought have jointly proved that the Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has rightly said that there is no Maslaki or Maktabi conflict and we share our grieves, and a terrorist does not keep any religion, he is just a terrorist and should be tackled accordingly. He said it has proved right today while the powers that by have proved through making excellent arrangements that they have the capability to keep the discipline in order. He said we would have to defeat the designs of enemies of religion and Pakistan with the same spirit in future also.

Mazhar Ali demanded from the government to ensure law and order situation and give up any reservations regarding banned organisations so as to strengthen the motherland and fix them with an iron hand because in foreign countries there is an impression that Pakistan government has failed in controlling terrorists. He said some innocent people including those belonging to Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya were behind the bars for the last two and a half months, they should be set free immediately.

Syed Mazhar Ali said as the Majalis and Azadari programmes would continue till early Rabiul Awwal therefore the Muharram Cells set up by the Interior Ministry should remain intact. The Cell should keep a regular contact with the Markazi Muharram Committee of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya and give prompt response to the issues referred to them. He lamented some provincial governments including Punjab and Sindh neither set up any Muharram Cell nor they remained in contact with our provincial Muharram Committees. Therefore, he said, all provinces should follow the suit of Interior Ministry and notify formation of Muharram Cells so as to remove the unrest amongst the people.

Mazhar Ali Shah reiterated his resolve to follow the Seerat of Imam Hussain (A.S.) and to give priority to the interests of the religion, motherland and the people over all other matters. The office-bearers of the Markazi Muharram Committee presented the report regarding Ashra-e-Muharram and sought further directions on matters of important nature.

RAWALPINDI, March 27: Syed Shujaat Ali Bokhari, Chairman Markazi Muharram Committee of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said Ashra-e-Muharram has been observed throughout the country with peace, dignity and the unity and brotherhood displayed during the period deserves thanks being the best example. He said all schools of thought have jointly proved that Hussain (A.S.) belongs to all and the Mirage achieved by religion, Shariat and Islam is commensurate with Hussainiyyat. He said President Gen. Pervez Musharraf by supervising all affairs himself has practically proved that he is the true defender of Pakistan.

Shujaat Bokhari said authorities in all the four provinces including Northern Areas and Azad Kashmir, particulary the efforts put in by the in-charge and the staff of the Interior Ministry are laudable as they kept round-the-clock coordination with the Markazi Muharram Committee of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya rather made every effort to resolve the problems of Azadars referred to them by the Markazi Control Room of the TNFJ. Mr. Bokhari also lauded the special efforts of the Principal Staff of the President of Pakistan for keeping a contact with them in connection with Muharramul Haram, and satisfied them by all means resolving many Azadari problems. He thanked all schools of thought, powers that be, and the Administration entrusted with special Muharram duties and expected that they would continue this spirit of unity and brotherhood intact in future also as in it lay the Hussaini spirit.

Shujaat Bokhari said we keep the survival of Pakistan and welfare of its people dearer from all other things. He said whereas the Federal Government and the Sarhad Government extended full cooperation, the other provinces, particularly the Punjab did not publicise the telephone numbers of their Control Rooms and did not cooperate with the provincial Muharram Committees of the TNFJ as a result of which Azadars in Punjab faced difficulties at some places. He demanded that they should now immediately publicise their telephone numbers on the electronic and print media and keep a contact with our provincial Muharram Committees because the Azadari programmes would continue till 8th Rabiul Awwal including the combined processions of Eid Milad-un-Nabi on 12th Rabiul Awwal.

He said the Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has rightly said that Azadari is not a protest of Imam-e-Mazloom (A.S.) against any personality but it is a universal protest of the oppressed and have-nots against the oppressed and Mustakbireen and it would continue till the rule of justice and fair-play all over the universe. He also thanked all Matmis, Azadars, Waizeen, Zakireen, Ulema and leaders who pay homage to Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) with full devotion, respect and forbearance during the Ashra-e-Muharram.

RAWALPINDI, March 24: The government has established Muharram Cell at Ministry of Interior in Islamabad to resolve the possible problems of Azadars. According to a notification received at the TNFJ Markazi Muharram Committee Control Room from the Ministry, this Muharram Cell would work round-the-clock. The telephone nos. of the Muharram Cell are: 051-9211223, 051-9211224, and 051-9211226 while Azadars could also fax their problems at Fax no. 051-9211225.

Markazi Convener of the TNFJ Muharram Committee, Shujaat Ali Bokhari has advised the Azadars to directly fax their problems to the Interior Ministry and to the TNFJ Markazi Muharram Committee on Fax no. 051-4410180 if they fail to resolve the same at local level. He also called upon the Azadars to follow the Code of Azadari announced by Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi and offer their Azadari rites without any fear.

Shujaat Bokhari advised them to remain vigilant and to keep a strict eye on miscreants. He appealed all schools of thought to display unity, brotherhood and mutual understanding in paying homage to Nawasa-e-Rasool and his 72 companions on the occasion of Youm-e-Ashoor so as to prove that they would prove a concrete wall against the enemies of the religion and the motherland.

ISLAMABAD, March 23: Thousands of participants of the Annual Zuljinah procession taken out from Jamia Al-Murtaza G-9/4, Islamabad under the auspices of Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi while paying homage to Nawasa-e-Rasool Hazrat Imam Aali Muqaam Hussain ibne Ali (A.S.) and his die-hard companions announced their commitment to publicise the Sunni-Shia brotherhood for survival, solidarity and integrity of the motherland and to thwart every conspiracy of the enemies of Islam and Pakistan. TNFJ Central Secretary Information Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi announced this while addressing the participants of the procession at Muhammadi Chowk G-9/2 Islamabad.

Qamar Zaidi said any particular sect does not inherit Gham-e-Hussain because his sacrifice was for human values and for survival of the Godly principles that is why every conscientious human being is indebted to Hussain ibne Ali (A.S.). He said it is unfortunate that whenever the month of Muharram approaches the impression is given as some storm is approaching contrary to the fact that all schools of thought observe Gham-e-Hussain jointly. He said Hussain (A.S.) belongs to God and Hussain (A.S.) belongs to all.

Participants of the procession approved a resolution on the occasion strongly condemning the Azadars, licence holders, organisers of Majalis, and arrest and restrictions imposed on religious scholars. The resolution lauded the suitable arrangements and adoption of a moderate policy during Muharramul Haram. The resolution said that law and order issue could not be resolved unless the government fixes the terrorists with an iron hand. He said a handful of miscreants have put the whole nation to test and there is need to take strong action against them. The resolution called for action against the elements patronising terrorism and stop presenting them like honourable citizens, black sheep in the Administration and media should be made accountable as they were creating problems for the people rather defaming the government. The resolution called upon all Matmi Azadars to display unity, brotherhood and mutual understanding on Youm-e-Ashoor and follow the Code of Azadari announced by Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi and thwart all conspiracies hatched by miscreants. Ch. Mushtaq Hussain also addressed the participants on this occasion.

Later, participants of the procession performed Zanjeer-Zani and the procession terminated at Jamia Sadiq Karachi Company after marching through its designated route. Matmi Dastas belonging to Federal Capital Islamabad and surrounding areas participated in Matamdari. Shabih-e-Zuljinah, Alam Mubarak, Gehwara-e-Ali Asghar, Mehndi Shahzada Qasim were a part of the procession. Pak Haideri Scouts, Mukhtar Force, Mukhtar Students Organisation and other religious and social organisations participated in the procession’s arrangements. Special arrangements for Sabeel and Langar-e-Hussaini were also made during the procession. Members of the Muharram Committee led by TNFJ District Islamabad Muharram Committee Convener Allama Guftaar Hussain Sadiqi, and a large number of high officials of Islamabad Administration remained with the procession throughout.
