ISLAMABAD, December 26: In commemoration of the blood-stained sacrifice rendered by the grandson of holy Prophet (SAWW) Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) along with his near and dear ones in the scorching desert of Karbala for defense of divine religion and Muhammadan Shariah, chain of Ashar-e-Muharram-ul Haram majalis and Zuljinah processions is in continuation with due respect throughout the country like other global parts.
In federal capital of Islamabad, central procession of Zuljinah, Alam, Taboot and Ghewara Shehzada Ali Asghar was taken out from Markazi Masjid and Imambargah Jamiatul Murtaza G-9/4 under the auspices of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. Dozens of matmi groups along with thousands of Azadaran-e-Mazloom-e-Karbala participated. While talking to representatives of electronic and print media during the procession, Agha Moosavi said power (rule) is not durable but Azadari of Imam Hussain (AS) is continued till appearance of Mehdi (ATF); neither we accepted any restriction on Azadari in past nor will do so in future and nor will allow anyone to fix its limits.
The chief of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya further said that Zia dictatorship had also made an ugly attempt to limit processions of Grandfather Muhammad (SAWW) and grandson Hussain (AS). At that time TNFJ launched 8-month-long peaceful agitation forcing the dictator to bow down. And then Moosavi-Junejo agreement was signed which is a complete guarantee for Azadari. He said basic ideology of Pakistan is Islam which is also the official religion of Pakistan in accordance with article 2 of the 73 constitution. Islam is the fruit of struggle of all prophets. Duty of its protection was accomplished on Muharram 10 by Syedush Shuhada Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS). Agha Moosavi said Muharram has been honorable in sight of the nations before Islam therefore the government is duty bound to fulfill rights of all schools of thought including minorities in equal level for safety of Pakistan basic ideology.
He said that on TNFJ instance Muharram Control Rooms and Azadari Cells have been set up in federal interior ministry, Sindh, Sarhad and Balochistan including Azad Kashmir but the Punjab administration has not yet informed TNFH regarding the same. Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariyas Muharram Committee Azadari Cell has set up Control Rooms across the country to ease Azadaran. In Sindh alone, cells in 64 sites are working, he said.
Meanwhile, the mourning procession while performing noha-khwani and seena zani and touching through its designated routes converged into a congregation after reaching Muhammadi Chowk G-9/2. Addressing azadaran-e-Hussain (AS) there, Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi said as Muharram 9 falls this year on Sunday therefore the government announce holiday on Muharram 11 in lieu of this as was done on Eid Al-Azha when five holidays were granted. Later, Azadaran by performing zanjeer zani presented pursa of Mazloom-e-Karbala. The procession after marching through its designated routes culminated at Jamia Imam As-SAdiq Karachi Company where matamdaran of Wanhaar area did noha khwani and zanjeer zani in very unique style. Mukhtar Students Organization, MO, Ibrahim Scouts, Mukhtar Generation, Ummul Banin WF, Sakinah Generation and Girls Guide contributed in arrangements of the procession. Sabeel-e-Hussaini was also set up during the procession. Heavy contingent of police besides high officials of administration and TNFJ Muharram Committee Islamabad remained present throughout the procession. Concluding pray was performed by Allama Zahid Abbas Kazmi. On the culmination, the chief organizer of the procession Syed Shujaat Ali Bokhari paid thanks to the participants, matmi, azadaran and administration.
RAWALPINDI, December 24: Ala Haider, Secretary of Markazi Muharram Committee of the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan has lauded and welcomed the decision of the Christian community for giving up musical programmes on the occasion of Christmas in respect of Muharramul Haram. This was stated by him while talking to the delegates from different districts who called on him at the Control Room of the Markazi Muharram Committee of the TNFJ. He said along with Christian community of Pakistan, followers of Christianity in other countries have also expressed similar views that are valuable and laudable. He said this situation is a source of lesson for Muslims as most of the channels were still presenting comedy, dancing programmes and dramas, that are contrary to the spirit of the holy month of Muharram, in the garb of freedom to the media . Ala Haider said our rulers and politicians were spending their time in nefarious activities which always become the source of destruction for the nations. Strongly condemning those who are taking out rallies in Ashra-e-Muharram he declared is contrary to the philosophy of Hussainiyyat because all these activities are actually aimed at sabotaging the Azadari programmes. He advised all such politicians to come on Farsh-e-Aza because Azadari of Imam Hussain (A.S.) has taught the method of protest to the oppressed the world over. He called upon the government to announce holiday on 11th Muharramul Haram in lieu of Sunday falling in the Muharram holidays so as to facilitate the Azadaran. He made it clear that the government has not yet announced setting up of Muharram Control Rooms and the Azadaran were contacting us from all over the country for solution of their Azadari issues. Therefore, he added, the government should set up Muharram Control Rooms at Federal and Provincial level including Gilgit-Balochistan, disseminate the same on the media and inform the headquarters of the Maktab-e-Tashayyo forthwith about it through a Notification. Ala Haider strongly condemned the uncalled for restrictions imposed on Ulema, Zakireen and the representative personalities of the Makatib by Administration in different cities. Expressing his concern over inclusion of banned elements in the governments Peace Committees he declared this act incapability of the government machinery saying that on one hand these elements have been banned while they are made to sit around government functionaries and given media coverage on the other that is tantamount to enmity with the motherland. He said the government should waive restrictions imposed on them if they are patriotic or take practical steps against them in letter and spirit. The delegations from Rawalpindi, Chakwal, Attock, Jhelum, Islamabad and other cities apprised him of their problems viz. Azadari and requested to bring the same to the notice of the government for solution.
RAWALPINDI, December 22: Syed Mazhar Ali Shah Advocate, Secretary General of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan has strongly condemned the lower level Administration for creating hurdles in Azadari and termed it violation of basic rights and conspiracy aimed at sabotaging the Azadari programmes. This was stated by him while addressing the office-bearers of the Muharram Committee Azadari Cell in the Central Control Room on Tuesday. He said on one side the government makes appeals for cooperation while creation of hurdle in Azadari by the Administration is going on in some districts, on the other. Shah said that imposition of ban on entry of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, peaceful personalities, Ulema and Zakireen in Chakwal is not fair on the part of the DCO. Likewise, he added, similar tactics are being used in other districts where terrorism is being spread in the name of peace creating fear and harassment amongst Azadaran. He said imposing restrictions on Maulana Fazlur Rehman and other big personalities is mere foolishness. He said the Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Moosavi has stated in the Code of Azadari that imposing of ban on Ulema and Zakireen is not a solution to the problem. However, they should be bound to follow Code of Morality and those who violate it should be taken to task. The TNFJ Secretary General said the Administration was working to limit Azadari following some particular pointation. He expressed his astonishment that there is no one to stop political rallies and those who are giving calls of jalao-gherao in Muharramul Haram while peaceful people are being teased without any reason. He said uncalled for restrictions in Muharramul Haram could be challenged in the court of law which would cause harm to the governments credibility, therefore, he added, the government should get the uncalled for restrictions removed throughout the country and keep a close contact with the real representatives of the recognized schools for restoration of peace. Shah said that Muharram Control Rooms have not yet been set up in the Ministry of Interior and the Provinces despite inviting governments attention repeatedly and if it has been done then the headquarters of the Maktab-e-Tashayyo has not been informed about the development. He said Azadari programmes would continue till 8th Rabiul Awwal, therefore, the government should make all necessary arrangements by implementing the Moosavis Code of Azadari. He called upon Azadars to organize Majalis and take Azadari processions without any fear following the Code of Azadari and pay Ajr-e-Risalat.
RAWALPINDI, December 20: Allama Basharat Hussain Imami, Convener, Muharram Committee Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya District Islamabad has demanded from the government to set up Muharram Control Rooms in the Interior Ministry, and all the four provinces including Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and disseminate all information on media as per practice going on for the last many years. He said incharges of these Control Rooms may be directed to keep a contact with the TNFJ so as to ensure mutual coordination and coherence for peaceful organization of Azadari programmes. This was stated by him at a Press Conference he addressed at National Press Club Islamabad on Sunday along with Allama Guftar Hussain Sadiqi, Zulfiqar Ali Raja, and Prof. Ghulam Abbas.
Allami Imami said all schools of thought, without any discrimination, are busy in paying homage to Nawasa-e-Rasool Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) and his 72 near and dear ones who laid down their life in Karbala. He said Majalis-e-Aza are being held and Matmi processions are being taken out throughout the country and the whole nation is following the Code of Azadari announced by the Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. He said we have delivered this Code of Azadari to higher authorities as it guarantees restoration of peace and solidarity of the motherland. He lamented that the government and the Administration begin spreading fear and harassment amongst the people as a part of self-interest. He said the that recently a list of 26 banned organizations was handed over to National Assembly but government and politicians make these elements, who have been declared banned four times, sit around them and they are given full coverage on the electronic and print media. It this situation how can the government root out terrorism, he asked. He lamented that some Local Governments have imposed ban on different ulema and Zakireen which is not good. He pointed out that some Ulema and Waizeen who have passed away during the last many years are also included in that list e.g. Dr. Manzoor Hussain, Syed Riaz Hussain Shah, Allama Tajuddin Haideri, etc. that shows inefficiency on the part of government machinery. He said as per a saying of the Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, Azadari is our jugular vein and eternal protest against oppression and brutality and there is no need for any permission to lodge a protest. He said Azadaris lesson of freedom for all nations is to preach righteousness and not to give up their rights from 1st Muharramul Haram to 8th Rabiul Awwal. He said there is need to extend Azadari to use it as weapon against satanic and colonial powers by inculcating the spirit of Hussainiyyat in every one. He said imposition of restriction on ulema and zakireen is not a solution to the problem rather it is a conspiracy against Hussainiyyat because it is not only contrary to the basic human rights but also is a conspiracy to sabotage our programmes. He made it clear that some very poor Zakireen and Ulema who promote Ittehad Bainul Muslimeen, take some advance Nazr and promise with the organizers to participate in their programmes but they face monetary loss in case restrictions are imposed on them. Therefore, he added, the government should lift restrictions on ulema and Zakireen forthwith. He said Azadars are facing biggest problem in the shape of power and gas loadshedding, therefore, the powers that be should direct the authorities concerned not to carry out load-shedding from Maghrib prayers to Sehr because the enemy could take the benefit of it. Wapda and the government would be held responsible in case of any mishap or incident, he added. Allama Basharat Imami said that Imam Hussain (A.S.) does not belong to any particular Maslak, country or a group rather he is Mohsin-e-Insaniyyat but it is pity that some media channels were presenting dancing, comedy programmes and dramas. He said Pakistan is an Islamic country and there is no place of Munkiraat in Islam, and all schools of thought are fully aware of the respect of this month. Therefore, the government should take immediate notice of this situation and issue special directive to the quarters concerned. Moreover, he added, some channels are presenting such intelligentsia and speakers in their programmes who are fanning biases that is tantamount to spreading enmity against the motherland. He said the government announces holidays in lieu of weekly holiday when announcing holidays on special occasions e.g. five holidays were announced on Eidul Azha. Similarly, he added, the 9th Muharram this year is falling on Sunday therefore the government should announce additional holidays in lieu of that Sunday and Muharram holidays should be extended from 7th to 11th Muharramul Haram so that all schools of thought could observe Aza-e-Hussain jointly. Allama Basharat Imami said that Central, Provincial and Islamabad Muharram Azadari Cells of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya are ever ready to extend cooperation. He said Ayyam-e-Aza is not limited to only 10 days but these would continue till 8th Rabiul Awwal. He appealed all the politicians to avoid political activities during the Ayyam-e-Aza and give priority to Gham-e-Hussain over all matters because no grief is bigger than the Gham-e-Hussain and there is no big a Mazloom than Hussain (A.S.), and no protest is bigger than Azadari. Therefore, whoever is giving protest calls during the Ayyam-e-Aza is actually unaware of the philosophy of Aza and we condemn all such activities. He said Karbala is the centre of all independence movements therefore best way to express solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine, Kashmir, Afghanistan, Iraq and elsewhere is to joint the Farsh-e-Aza. He expressed his resolve to follow any line of action given by the headquarters of the Markaz of Maktab-e-Tashih i.e. the TNFJ and the Code of Azadari announced by the Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi will be followed in letter and spirit.
December 18: The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that Nawasa-e-Rasool Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) confronted oppression, suppression and brutality in exemplary manner that human history remained unable to produce. This was stated by him in a special message issued at the beginning of Muharramul Haram. He said Islami Taqweem begins with Muharramul Haram and this month is considered from amongst those four months that are considered the month(s) of peace and tranquillity and Quran and Ahadees stand witness to the honour and dignity of the same. Agha Moosavi said Imam Aali Muqaam (A.S.) presented a great and eternal sacrifice in the hot plains of Karbala along with his 72 near and dear ones for the protection and defence of high Islamic values and humanity that has been considered as fadeynahu be-zibhin azeem فدیناہ بزبح عظیم. He said the way Hussain Ibne Ali (A.S.) stood before the evil forces is a beacon of light for the freedom fighters the world over including those in Kashmir, Palestine, Iraq and Afghanistan and for the brave sons of motherland Pakistan. He said Imam Hussain (A.S.) proved through his strategy that Islam does not initiate any aggression, is not aggressive rather condemns oppression and brutality. He said Islam has defeated oppression and brutality point blank by adopting Mazloomiyyat. The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Moosavi said at present the Islamic World in general, and motherland Pakistan in particular, was confronted with great oppression such as terrorism. He said the satanic world desires to fulfil her nefarious designs by creating fear and harassment at every level. He said Pakistan is in a state of war, therefore, we would have to adopt the path of Hussainiyyat and inculcate the spirit of patriotism so as to thwart the designs of the satanic trio. For this purpose, he added, we would have to keep an eye on colonial powers and their agents keeping wisdom and seriousness intact. He said remembering the Shahadat-e-Uzma rendered in Karbala guarantees success here and the Hereafter.
786 PRESS CONFERENCE Honourable Newsmen! Salam Masnoon Al-Islam, The Islamic month and year begins with the dawn of Muharramul Haram the honour and dignity of which is crystal clear from its name. As per Quran and Sunnah, murder, massacre, riot, war and conflict are prohibited during this month. This month is the symbol of exemplary subservient spirit, Bandagi, firm belief in religion and Shariat and the spirit of sacrifice by Farzand-e-Rasool Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.). It is memory of that greatest sacrifice that has been termed as by the Holy Quran. The subservience and Bandagi of Hussain (A.S.) certified his (Holy Prophets) greatness. The Imam Aali Muqaam (A.S.) wrote a great and exemplary history of sacrifice of his life along with his 72 companions, near and dear ones, and offspring in the hot plain of Karbala for the protection of human honour, defence of religion and Shariat, subservience to Zaat-e-Illahi that has no match in the human history. Imam Hussain (A.S.) and his companions presented such example of Shahadat that would continue providing highest standards of values for the human thinking. The Holy Quran stands witness to the completion of the Islamic Code of Life. (Today, We have completed your religion and completed Our blessings on you, and selected Islam as your religion (Surah Maida, Ayah 3) Islam is an eternal movement therefore; Allah Says that you are the best Ummah who has been sent for the people. You give commandment for doing good and stop them from the evil-doing and keep faith in Allah (Surah Aal-e-Imran, Ayah 11). The Islamic history is replete with sacrifices presented for the protection of religion and to save if from making changes in it against the evil forces. Proud has been expressed on the Shahadats offered in doing so. Nawasa-e-Rasool Al-Saqlain, Shahzada-e-Konain (A.S.) belong to this great Khanwada who succeeded in achieving success through their sacrifice. He could have led a cozy and comfortable life but when he saw that enemies of Islam desire to shatter the oneness of the Ummah in the garb of Islam and divert them from the real Markaz, and in a situation when Islam fell prey to an ideological standstill and Khilafate turned into Shahanshahiyyat and Malookiyyat, then Imam Hussain (A.S.) chose the path of Shahadat. When Yazid took over the reins of power in the month of Rajab, in 60 Hijra, he wrote letters to Governors in which he informed them of the death of his father and about his inheritance of his seat. One letter was sent to the Governor of Madinah and also enclosed a small chit with this letter in which he directed him to take Baiaat, particularly from three personalities. He wrote to him to pressurize Hussain Ibne Ali (A.S.), Abdullah Ibne Omar, and Abdullah Ibne Zubair and directed him not to give them any relief until they accept Baiaat. Walid sent the message to these personalities through his messenger. Walid Bin Atbah presented the Yazids demand for Baiaat in front of Imam Hussain (A.S.). Marvan Bin Hukm signaled Walid, and Imam Aali Muqaam (A.S.) noticed his movement and asked him: Oh, the son of Zarqah, you would kill me or it would be Walid? You tell a lie and commit sin. Then he asked Walid: We are Khanwada-e-Nabuwwat and Maadan-e-Risalat, angels keep on visiting our homes, blessings of Allah pour on our family, Allah began Islam from our Khanwadah. Our family will remain with Islam till the D-Day but this Yazid for whom you are expecting Baiaat from me, is a drunkard, lier, debaucher who kills innocent people and who trampled the commandments of Allah, and a person like me cannot accept the Baiaat of a person like Yazid. Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) could not see the Muslim principles trampled on this important and sensitive juncture because he considered himself under the obligation to confront with oppression and brutality in his capacity of defender of Ilhaam and Wahi and as Representative of Allah. Therefore, he became ready to confront these oppressors, and symbols of Shirk and riot with full Ilhaami force and strength. As a poet says that he stood up with a commitment that: Allama Ibne Abi Al-Hadeed Shahrah writes in Nehjul Balaghah that: He (Hussain A.S.) is a person who did not allow humiliation and defame come near him and chose Shahadat with bravery, courage and strength over dishonour and lowness under the shadow of sword. He and his companions rejected all types of offers. His boasting Shahadat is a lesson for the comity of nations. His holy blood is the headline of Kitaab-e-Hayat and his spirit of sacrifice, patience, firmness, bravery astonished not only the human beings but also the angels. Quran and Ahadees stand witness on the charismatic personality of Imam Aali Muqaam (A.S.). He is the member of that greatest Khanwadah who has the honour to be the Itrat-e-Rasool and whose love has been declared Ajr-e-Risalat under and Ayah-e-Tatheer is a golden certificate on their greatness and piousness. There is a statement of Ummul Momineen Hazrat Aisha that goes that on one morning Rasool-e-Khuda (SAAW) came wrapped in Chadar-e-Yamani. During that time Hassan (A.S.), Hussain (A.S.), Ali (A.S.) and Fatima (S.A.) came to the Rasool (SAAW) in an order, keeping some distance. Rasool-e-Khuda (SAAW) collected all of them under his Chadar-e-Yamani and Gabriel came and delivered the Message of Allah that . The Ayaat that declare the supremacy of Syed-us-Shuhada Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) include Ayah-e-Mobahila also. Ali (A.S.), Fatima (S.A.), Hassan (A.S.) and Hussain (A.S.) came with the Holy Prophet (SAAW) for Mobahila with Nasara-e-Najraan (Tafseer: Fakharuddin Razi). This Ayat highlights the special Taqarrab and Jalalat of Imam Aali Muqaam (A.S.). In the light of Ahadees and sayings, Rasool-e-Akram (SAAW) has termed Hassan (A.S.) and Hussain (A.S.) as Jawanan-e-Jannat (Tabqaat Ibne Saad). There is a saying that a few persons were going along with the Hazroor-e-Akram (SAAW) and saw Hussain (A.S.) on their way. When Rasool-e-Khuda (SAAW) wanted to catch him, he moved here and there, Hazoor (SAAW) kept on smiling unless he took over Hussain (A.S.) in his lap and kissed Hussains (S.A.) lips by putting one hand behind his neck and the other below his cheek and said: Hussain (A.S.) is from me and me from Hussain (A.S.). Oh, Allah! Keep friend with one who keeps Hussain his friend (Tabqaat Ibne Saad). At another place, he (SAAW) said one who keeps Hussain (A.S.) his friend, he keeps friend with me and one who is his enemy, is my enemy (Kinz Al-Aamaal). There is a saying of the Imam Aali Muqaam (A.S.) that no doubt, I consider death a blessing and success over living in disgrace with the oppressors. That is why Imam Hussain (A.S.) gave priority to Shahadat over life in disguise. Before setting out for his journey for Shahadat from Madinah he wrote his will, stamped it and handed it over to Muhammad Hanfia. It says: This is the will of Hussain Ibne Ali (A.S.) in the name of his brother Muhammad Hanfia. Hussain (A.S.) stands witness that there is no Maabood but Allah, there is no one who shares it with Him, Muhammad is the man of Allah and His Rasool (SAAW) who has brought with the religion of righteousness. Hussain (A.S.) also stands witness that the heaven and the hell are righteousness and there is no doubt about the day of Jaza. That day, Allah will definitely give life to all Ahle Qaboor. Imam Aal-e-Muqaam (A.S.) after stating his belief in his will stated the objective of his Qayam in these words: My Kharooj from Madinah is not for self-praise or negation, nor my objective is riot, conflict, oppression and brutality. I have come out only to correct the Ummah of my Nana Muhammad (SAAW), and desire to restore Amar Bil Maaroof and Nahi Anil Munkir and to follow the seerat of my grandfather Rasool (SAAW) and Baba Ali (A.S.). If anyone accepts my invitation for righteousness, he has adopted the path of Allah and if rejects it, then I will bear patience till Allah decides it between me and those people and Allah is the best decision maker. My brother, the same is my will for you, my Taufeeqaat are from my Allah, I keep faith in Him, and I have to return towards Him (Maqtal Alkhwarzmi). Imam Hussain (A.S.) indicated the Asaasi reasons of his Qayam that indicate opposition to Amar Bil Maaroof and Nahi Anil Munkir i.e. wide-spread evils and non-Shariah and inhuman style of the Yazidi government. In other words, Hussain (A.S.) has told that he would not have remained silent if he was not asked to undergo Baiaat because it is a reality that Yazid and his subordinates were committing oppression, brutality, social immorality and changes in the Islamic commandments. As Josh said: Therefore, it was Hussain Ibne Alis responsibility to perform Amar Bil Maaroof and Nahi Anil Munkir to correct these evils, revive the Sunnat of his Nana (SAAW) and seerat of his Baba Ali (A.S.), promote justice and fair-play and root out these evils with courage and bravery to tell the world that Hussain (A.S.) does not desire benefit, wealth nor likes riot and arson. This is the reality that remained with the Qayam of Imam Aali Muqaam (A.S.) from the beginning till last. Nasawa-e-Rasool (A.S.) not only saved the sanctity of Islam but also increased the human dignity. As Josh said: In other words, Hussain (A.S.) handed over a standard of thinking to the followers of independence and freedom and made it clear that the trustee of our thinking could not bow down his head before the power of Nimrah, Pharaoh and Yazid rather keeps his head of the oppressed so high through his power of faith that the oppressor himself is forced to hide his heinous face from humiliation. The sacrifice rendered by Imam Hussain (A.S.) for achieving victory for Mazloomiyyat and to give eternal heights to the world of humanity are the beacon of light for the oppressed world even today. Honourable newsmen! Hussain (A.S.) is Shaheed-e-Bashariyyat and observing his memory is binding on all human beings. On the occasion of on-coming Muharramul Haram, I am announcing the Code of Azadari so that we all may follow it and become successful in Bargah-e-Illahi. CODE OF AZADARI (1431 Hijra) 1. The government should follow the May 21, 1985 Junejo-Moosavi agreement in connection with bringing out Azadari processions peacefully. 2. Muharram Azadari Cells should be set up at the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Religious Affairs, Provincial, Regional and District level. These cells should be publicized in the media and responsible persons of these Cells should be directed to keep a close contact with the Control Room of Central Muharram Committee Azadari Cell set up at the headquarters of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan. These cells should remain intact from 1st Muharram to 8th Rabi-ul-Awwal. 3. The Government should direct the District Administration from top to bottom to avoid spreading fear and harassment amongst Azadars and organisers of Majalis and processions rather fully cooperate with them so that they could perform Azadari rites in peace and with honour and respect. 4. The holy month of Muharram is commensurate with Nawasa-e-Rasool Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) and his die-hard supporters but our electronic media keeps limits itself to Hamd-o-Naat. It is necessary to highlight the great sacrifices of Martyrs of Karbala in a positive and effective manner, and should avoid Munkiraat. All types of music, and comedy programmes should remain suspended during the Ashra-e-Muharram. 5. Effective and timely protective measures should be taken before hand during Majalis-e-Aza and Azadari processions at sensitive places. Special arrangements for light and cleanliness should be made at the places of Majalis-e-Aza and on the routes of Matmi processions all over the country and load-shedding should not be carried out during this period. 6. No one should be allowed to take law into his hands and effective implementation of Anti-Terrorism Act should be ensured. 7. Preaching of biases should be prohibited and those who are doing so should be dealt with an iron hand. 8. All Makatib and Masalak should be accepted from the core of their heart and no interference should be made in the beliefs and ideologies of any one. No such law may be introduced that may encroach upon the rights of anyone. 9. Ulema, waizeen and zakireen, in their addresses and speeches, should give priority to unity and brotherhood, survival of the motherland, and integrity and solidarity of the country. All leaders should suspend all types of political activities during Ashra-e-Muharram. Azadars and mourners should give priority to Azadari over everything. 10. Do not lend ear to any rumour. God forbid, if any problem is faced at any place, the problem should be resolved through the Local Administration and local Muharram Committee of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya. If it remains unresolved at local level then the Markazi Muharram Committee of the TNFJ should be consulted. 11. The organizers of Majalis and processions should take protective measures on self-help basis and should remain alert. All countrymen should keep a strict eye on enemies of religion and motherland and express hatred against those elements who promote hatred, enmity and biases because one who preaches differences is neither Shia or Sunni but the enemy of Islam and Pakistan 12. All Makatib should preach their beliefs and ideologies in a positive manner, and highlight the achievements of Imam Aali Muqaam (A.S.) and his near and dear ones. The honour and dignity of all schools of thought including the minorities should be taken care of. 13. Women should follow the seerat of Mukhadderat-e-Ismat and Taharat and men should follow the seerat and character of the Mashaheer of the religion and Shariat. Discipline and timings should be followed during Majalis-e-Aza and Matmi processions. All such activities that may be contrary to the spirit of Azadari should be avoided. 14. It is the Sharia and moral responsibility of the organisers of Majalis-e-Aza to follow the Code of Azadari and also advise others to do so. In the end I would like to make it clear that Azadari of Imam Aali Muqaam (A.S.) is a universal and eternal protest against oppression and brutality, it is our basic right and our jugular vein and dearer to us than any other thing.
