SPECIAL MESSAGE OF AGHA SYED HAMID ALI SHAH MOOSAVI QUAID TEHREEK NAFAZ-E-FIQH-E-JAFARIYA PAKISTAN In connection with Wilayat Week 18-21 Zulhijjah 1423 marking the Jashan-e-Ghadeer & Mubahila

Brethren in Islam!

Nations consider commemoration of their Mashaheer (heroes) and Days as a sign of life and provide the proof of being a live nation considering talk about them, festival and their days a source of strength for hearts. Allah has given commandment to the Holy Prophet (SAW):

(Mention Ibrahim in the Book that he was a true messenger)

Moosa (Kaleem-Ullah) had been told to let the Bani Israel observe Ayyam-e-Illahi (divine days)

(No doubt, We sent Moosa with Ayahs so that he could bring his nation towards enlightenment from the
darkness and remind them about the days of Allah)

The Mufassarin (those who explain Quranic verses) consider Days of Allah as the days during which Allah showered blessings over Bani Israel and got them rid of the Pharaoh of that time. It means that Apostles and Prophets had been in habit of reminding those days in which some important incidents took place so that general public could become successful in religious and worldly matters benefiting from them. On this basis we observe “Wilayat Week” from 18-24 Zulhijjah that are considered Eid in Maktab-e-Ahle Bait (18 Zulhijjah is Eid-e-Ghadeer and 24 Zulhijjah is Eid-e-Mubahila) throughout the country like it is observed throughout the world. Zararah bin Aa’yun quotes from Hazrat Imam Muhammad Baqar (A.S.):

(The basis of Islam rest on Namaz, Zakat, Hajj, fasting, and Wilayat)

The writer of this saying asked which one of these is the most important? “Wilayat,” came the reply.

(Because Wilayat is the key to all these elements and Waali is the guider in all matters)

Late Tariheehi says in Majma-ul-Bahrain:

Itteba and submissiveness culminate at Wilayat and love. Changes in situation and timings are possible in Namaz, Zakat, Hajj, and fasting but recognition of the Imam, Hadi and Guide is not linked with situation and timings but recognising the righteous Imam prevails upon in all situations.

That is why Paighambar-e-Islam made special arrangement for the appointment and introduction of Imam. When the Holy Prophet (SAW) returns from the last Hajj and reaches the plain of Ghadeer-e-Khum, Gabriel Ameen approaches him with an Ayah:

(Oh, Prophet! Deliver the thing that your Allah Has revealed to you to the Ummat. If you did not deliver it practically then keep it in your mind that you did not perform any duty of the Prophet hood; and Allah keeps the
evil away from you)

It means that appointment of the Imam is such a job that if it is not disseminated then all preaching of Shariat by the Holy Prophet (SAW) would go waste, therefore, today the Holy Prophet (SAW) is entrusted with the job of actively disseminating. In other words if he did not actively delivered what has been delivered to him by Allah then it would be considered that he has done no job of Prophet hood. Therefore, a platform (Mimber) is being established in the plain of Ghadeer-e-Khum with the help of camel-seats. The Holy Prophet (SAW) appears at the platform, delivers an historic sermon, gets acceptance of the crowd that he is their master and then raises Ali (A.S.) on his hands and says:

(Ali is the Master of all those, I am Master of which)

The history of Islam writes that Hazrat Omer while congratulating Ali (A.S.) on this occasion had said:

(Congratulations, ibne Abi Talib A.S. congratulations! You have become the Master of myself, and
every Momin and Momina)

Maula means the ruler, that is why a poet says:

After the open announcement of Wilayat of Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S.), the following Verse was delivered:

(Today, I have completed your religion for you and fulfilled all My blessings on you, and selected
the religion of Islam for you)

This way the completion of religion of Islam took place through the announcement of Wilayat-e-Ali (A.S.). Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) is that great a personality who enjoys being the Nafs-e-Rasool. A Christian delegation from Najraan called on the Holy Prophet (SAW) in 9 Hijra and started arguments and debate on evil beliefs about the Hazrat Eisa (Rooh-Ullah). When the delegation could not get satisfied by any means, then a verse was revealed:

(Any one who argues with you despite having this knowledge coming to you, tell him that we may call ours
and your sons, ours and your women, ours and your own particular souls, and then humbly request
Allah seeking the curse of Allah for those who lie)

Mubahila means sending La’anat (curse) by two parties on each other. When there is any dispute amongst two parties on any thing being right or wrong and there seems no solution through arguments, then both parties pray to Allah to send His curse to a liar amongst them. When Christians from Najraan did not accept the righteousness despite arguments, the Holy Prophet (SAW) invited them for Mubahila. He took Hazrat Ali (A.S.), Hazrat Fatima (S.A.), Hazrat Hassan (A.S.) and Hazrat Hussain (A.S.) along and asked the Christians to bring their offspring, women and souls along with them. But as soon as they saw the enlightened personalities, they avoided Muhabila and accepted their defeat and offered to give “Jiziyah” (Islamic tax). The Holy Prophet (SAW) sent Abu Ubaidah bin Jarah along with them to collect the “Jiziyah” (ibid Tafseer Ibne Kaseer and Fatah Al-Qadeer etc.).

And that day was declared Eid-e-Mubahila. The world of humanity today is confronted with the oppression and brutality from the remains of Christians of Najraan i.e. the Bush Junior. Dozens of States have already fell victim to oppression; Iran, Iraq and North Korea have already been declared “axis of evil”; the United Nations after implementing its Resolution about Iraq and posting arms inspector there, has listened to their reports and has accepted that no weapons of mass destruction could be found in Iraq; Iraq has fully cooperated vis-à-vis the inspection process without prior warning; France, Belgium, and Germany have used their veto in the NATO; France, Russia, China and Germany have been saying in the United Nations rather the whole world is of the opinion that war was no solution of the issue but Bush was still showing his muscles; Israel was not only busy in war preparations but was also destructing Palestinians for the sake of greater Israel; India was carrying out massacre of minorities turning churches, mosques, religious institutions, shrines, and Imambargahs into murder dens; India is occupying Held Kashmir for the last 55 years forcibly and was playing ‘holi’ with the blood of Kashmiris besides carrying out missile tests the day in and day out in a bid to prove her superiority. These acts of madness on the part of India were dangerous not only for this region but also for the whole world as she actually desires to sabotage Kashmir issue and reap benefit from the American concentration in the Gulf. International Devil was behind all these activities and no one was listening to the Islamic World and the oppressed nations. International chief of terrorists, Israel and India were the dens of terrorism who desire to crush the struggle of independence of Kashmiris, Palestinians, Iraqis and other have-nots to maintain their supremacy and to cease their resources and territories. The oppressor is always coward and feels fear. Bush, Sharon, Vajpayee and Tony Blair are the most coward persons of the world and have become deaf and dumb owing to their oppressive attitude, they could not even see or listen to the woes of the oppressed. North Korea is the only country in this world that has shown enough courage and the Islamic World and the oppressed nations should learn the lesson from North Korea, become a concrete wall against their designs, refuse to accept their demands as it is the only way to stop this tirade of oppression and brutality and turn this world into a hub of peace.

At present the world eyes are set on the United Nations. If it succeeded in tightening the noose around America and her agents and got all issues resolved in line with its Resolutions then not only its honour and respect would increase but every Devil of the world will also learn a lesson. If unfortunately this institution could not succeed then it would not only lose its credibility but its presence would also become useless. It is must to raise voice against oppression. At present protest meetings and rallies reported from many countries are a strong protest against oppressors and are a matter of shame for the heads of Muslim States who should look towards themselves and condemn their silence that leave no justification for them to rule any more. Keep in mind that international Devil is not friend of anyone but to her interests. This monster would tear apart all. Muslim rulers! If you could not come out of deep slumber, did not adopt the norms of justice and fair-play, did not get yourself rid of international Devil then no one could get you rid of Allah’s wrath.

On this auspicious occasion, presenting our greetings to the Muslims at large, we announce our commitment not to hesitate in saying Kalma-e-Haq because saying Kalma-e-Haq before an oppressed and tyrant ruler is Jehad. May Allah protect the whole world of humanity, help the oppressed, give success to Islamic world, and keep the motherland intact, strong and stable.
