RAWALPINDI, January 24: Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi addressing the fourth Majlis of Ashra-e-Muharram held at Ali Masjid Satellite Town has said Quran and Ahle Bait (A.S.) have sent Salam on great human beings and religious leaders who served the religion and presented sacrifices for it. He said the Nawasa-e-Rasool (A.S.) sacrificed all he had to protect the dignity of the religion in Karbala. Every conscious person is thankful to Hussain (A.S.) and Hussainiyyat guarantees welfare of the humanity that is the path of survival and blessing. The spirit of sacrifice of the Lashkar-e-Hussaini is the best example to follow for every one who treads the path of freedom. Allama Syed Basim Abbas Zahiri, Maulana Kazim Raza Kazmi, and Syed Tehzib-ul-Hassan Naqvi also addressed the Majlis. Allama Shaikh Ijaz Hussain addressing a Majlis at Qasr-e-Abu Talib said Karbala was that great battle between the righteousness and evil in which the protector of righteousness Hussain Ibne Ali (A.S.) kissed Shahadat along with his offspring, family members and diehard companions and friends giving an eternal life to Islam. Allama Basharat Hussain Imami addressing a Majlis at Qasr-e-Khadijatul Kubra said Fatimas (S.A.) son gave blood for Islam giving the lesson of honour, dignity, gentlemanliness, charisma, patience and firmness till the D-Day following which we could bow down the head of oppressors even today. He said Nawasa-e-Rasool (S.A.) wrote down the Constitution for human being with his blood to guide the humanity to stick to the right path and reach their destination. At Imambargah Sakhi Shah Piyara Chaur Harpal, Allama Syed Matloob Hussain Taqi addressing a Majlis said that Karbala is the sign of patience against brutality and if followed, every dabaucher and liar could be sent to his logical conclusion. Maulana Malik Ijlal Haider Al-Haideri addressing a Majlis said the voice of Hussainiyyat in the echoes of Azans (call for prayers) is the announcement of victory of religion and Shariat that cannot be pressed by anyone throughout the world. He said when Yazid grabbed Islamic government and began making the Islamic principles a laughing stock, then Hussain Ibne Ali (A.S.) refused the question of Baiaat and sailed through the sea of blood to achieve eternal victory for Islam.
RAWALPINDI, January 23: Allama Shaikh Ijaz Hussain Modarris addressing a Majlis at Markazi Imambargah Qasr-e-Abu Talib said Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) was the symbol of courage and bravery who along with a small outfit confronted with the lakhs of Yazidi forces but did not prefer to bow down his head before the debaucher and liar. Syed Nazir Hussain Shah got a resolution approved from the participants on this occasion that demanded to set up Azadari Cells at Federal, provincial, Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas level to resolve the problems of the Azadars. It demanded that setting up of these Cells should be publicised on media and they should directed to keep a contact with the Control Room of the TNFJ Muharram Committee (Azadari Cell). The participants resolved to follow the Code of Azadari announced by Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi and demanded from the government to effectively implement the Anti-Terrorism Act and take notice of the banned groups working with new names. Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi addressed a Majlis at the residence of Maulana Manzoor Hussain Sabzwari at Asghar Maal Chowk from where Gehwara Shahzada Ali Asghar (A.S.) was also brought out. Markazi Matmi Dasta Rawalpindi performed Matamdari and Noha Khwani. The procession terminated at Imambargah Baltistania Angatpura after marching through its designated route. Langar-e-Hussaini was also arranged on this occasion. Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi also address a Majlis at Imambargah Zainul Abideen. Allama Basharat Hussain Imami addressed a Majlis at Imambargah Khadijatul Kubra Tarlai Kalan, Allama Zahid Abbas Kazmi at Aza Khana Ali Sarkar Naqvi, Maulana Basim Abbas Zahiri at Ali Hall and Ali Masjid, Allama Yasir Naqvi at Imambargah Col. Maqbool Hussain, Allama Taqi Hadi at Imambargah Nasir Al-Aza, Allama Zulfiqar Haider Naqvi at Imambargah Khanna Kaak, and Zakir Sadar Musa Khan Deenpuri at Qasr-e-Imam Musa Kazim. Majalis-e-Aza were also held at Aza Khana Darogha Safdar, Imambargah Shah Chan Chiragh, Imambargah Fatimia Saddar.
RAWALPINDI, January 20: The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that the great and unmatched sacrifice rendered in Karbala for the survival of Allahs religion and promotion of Shariat-e-Muhammadi is still alive despite passage of more than 13 centuries, and it will remain bright till eternity. In a message issued here from the Maktab-e-Tashayyos headquarters on the beginning of Muharramul Haram, he said the Maktab-e-Hussain is ever green and the Hussaini echoes start banging in air the world over Oh, people! Did you not see that righteousness is not being followed, there is no limit to misguidance and the situation has deteriorated to the extent that Momin (believer) is desirous of meeting Allah. In a situation when the whole humanity is replete with evil and bad things, this voice creates a new lease of life in the hearts of the have-nots and the invitation towards Amar Bil Maaroof and Nahi Anil Munker diverts attention towards good deeds, keeping away from evil and reform the enthusiasm and spirit. Agha Moosavi said that Shahadat is our inheritance and every Momin is desirous of achieving it that is why Khasan-e-Illahi being always desirous of it never bowed down before oppression and brutality, and used to say Kalma-e-Haq on the point of spear. The Syed-o-Sardar of these Khasan-e-Illahi is Imam Hussain (A.S.) who stated the objective of his Qayam in these words: I am doing Qayam not for war, conflict, neither my job is to create riot, and carry out oppression and brutality, my Qayam is for reforming the Ummah of my grandfather (Muhammad SAAW) and my objective is Amar Bil Maaroof and Nahi Anil Munker and following of my grandfathers. The TNFJ chief said that the month of Muharram gives new lease of life to the Muslim Ummah, therefore, it is obligatory for every Muslim and the faithful person to participate in Majalis, and Azadari processions, get pious teachings of Muhammad (SAAW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.), commit to practise Islamic principles and Faroaat so that our internal spirit, struggle, jehad, and unity could arise. That is why Imam Hussain (A.S.) addressing one thousand Sahaba and Tabaeen at Mina said, You are watching what is happening to us, you are bound to tell whatever is said in this Majlis to your countrymen on your return. Some words of another sermon of Imam Hussain (A.S.) are: Oh, people! You are known for knowledge, welfare, and care, your dignity is in the hearts of general public, gentlemen give respect to you, the old give respect to you, those who are not blessed by you, consider you people better and more honoured than themselves. Then said: You seek welfare from Allah but I fear that you may not grip yourself in wrath of God because by the Grace of God you are placed in such a status that is not achieved by others, you enjoy honour in general public, but you are watching that promises made with God are being broken, but you are not upset although you become restless when anyone violates the promises made with your forefathers. No one is taking care of Rasool Allahs (SAAW) trust, villages and settlements are replete with disabled and no one takes care of them, you do not care for your responsibilities, and you do not give attention to those who try to fulfil their responsibilities, are concerned of saving yourselves by ignoring oppression and cooperating with the oppressors. God has restricted to do these things and have said to restrict others but you are ignorant, you are hit hard because you have been deprived of the status you deserved and what was the right of the ulema. Alas! You understood and had struggled. Then he said: Actually, the arrangements and issuance of commandments should have been in the hands of ulema who are aware of Halal and Haram and are the monitors of these jobs from Allah but your status has been snatched from you and it was done so because you kept a distance from righteousness and you are not united despite clear-cut arguments about Sunnah. Had you understood your responsibilities and bore difficulties then all authority would have been in your hands but you gave your place to the oppressors and handed over all your authority to them who treaded the path suspiciously, fulfilled their nefarious desires and imposed themselves upon you that you had been running from death and you loved your life that is ultimately to vanish. You gave have-nots and deprived in their hands thus some poor fellows became slaves and were crushed, some were deprived of food. Now they are doing what they like throughout the country, earn bad name by following their desires, adopt bad habits and do not care Zaat-e-Illahi, their Khateeb cries hoarse in every village and settlement and they have become the lone owners of Allahs earth, no one is to stop them from doing so, they all are under their control, they could put their hands on anyone and no one could stop them. Some are violent, insisting and poor and some are unaware of Allah and the Hereafter. Did it not surprising? That country is in the hands of those whose job is to loot and plunder, and such people have become rulers who do not become soft on the faithfuls. Imam Hussain (A.S.) says: Why a few people have occupied Baitul Maal of Muslims, why Allahs Halals are being termed Harams and Harams as Halals? Why people have been divided? People are hit by poverty but a few people have become so fat after devouring all they could that they could not rise in their own place. In another Khutba, Imam Aali Muqam (A.S.) quoting a Hadees of his grandfather (SAAW) said: If a time comes when Baitul Mall of Muslims reaches that stage and Allahs Harams are declared Halals and the situation becomes like it is now, then according to a saying of the Rasool (SAAW) when a Muslim is aware of these situations and remains quiet then it is justifiable for Allah to take that person to the place that is the place of the oppressors. I have the sense of accountability and in these situations; I (Hussain) am most responsible. Agha Hamid Moosavi made it clear that Imam (A.S.) gave preference to death in honour over life in dishonour. Had Imam Hussain (A.S.) any other objective e.g. government or power then Hussain (A.S.) would not have been so great. Today have-nots all over the world including Kashmir, Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia and Lebanon consider the Hussaini movement as their source for inspiration because the sacrifice of life offered by Hussain (A.S.) was for the protection and defence of Islam foundation of which rests on righteousness, that is the central point of knowledge, that disseminates wisdom and that is such a lightening candle that gives enlightenment to the whole world, is such a highest minaret that imbibed human beings with greatness. That is the greatest collection of principles and Faroaat that provides satisfaction to those who are in search of righteousness and reality. The TNFJ chief said that there is a saying of Maula-e-Kainat (A.S.) that goes: Oh, people! Beware that Allah has declared Islam a path towards His blessings and the highest standard of His worshipness and worship. He has showered it with high commandments, great principles, strongest arguments, undeniable supremacy, and recognized wisdom. Now it is your job to maintain the greatness showered by Allah and practice it with sincerity of purpose, do justice with His ideologies, and fulfil His commandments and Sayings correctly and give it a suitable place in your life. The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that Imam Hussain (A.S.) became the source of survival for the whole humanity by offering his sacrifice and that of his 72 die-hard near and dear ones and blessed it with a new lease of life that is why the whole humanity is proud of Hussain (A.S.) even today and considers him its hero because Hussain (A.S.) lived for religion, Shariat and humanity, gave life for promotion of religion and Shariat and for the supremacy of humanity. Therefore, we would have to adopt the path of Hussain (A.S.) if we have to save the honour and dignity of humanity today, he added.
RAWALPINDI, January 20: An important meeting of Markazi Muharram Committee Azadari Cell of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan was held. Central Convener Syed Shujaat Ali Bokhari presided over the meeting that reviewed the arrangements of Muharramul Haram in detail. Bu Ali Mahdi, Additional Secretary of the Committee in his report presented in the meeting said Control Rooms have been set up in Federal Capital Islamabad, and all the four provinces including Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas keeping the interests of the nation and the country supreme and to maintain sanctity and honour of Ayyam-e-Aza to facilitate Azadars. The Control Room of the Central Muharram Committee (Azadari Cell) is working round-the-clock. He said Azadars could make a telephone call on phone (051-4410180, 051-4840625, 051-5876402) for any possible issue confronted by them. Syed Tahiri Shah, Nasir Abbas Jafri, Khizar Abbas Naqvi, Zahid Hussain Naqvi, Muhammad Ali Shah, Mukhtar Ali Bangash, Babar Suhail, Syed Rehmat Ali Shah have been appointed representatives in America, Europe, Australia, Middle East, Far East, and Africa. Syed Shujaat Ali Bokhari addressing the meeting appealed the Azadaran-e-Hussain to follow the Code of Azadari announced by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi and give priority to Azadari over every thing and highlight the eternal and invaluable sacrifices of the Farzand-e-Rasool. He called upon them to display unity and brotherhood and prove on the world that we are united and are a concrete wall against our combined enemy. He demanded from the government not to delay setting up of Azadari Cells at Federal Interior Ministry, Ministry for Religious Affairs, all the four provinces including Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas and District level and they should remain in constant touch with the TNFJs Muharram Committee Azadari Cells and these may be publicized through the media so that Azadari programmes could be carried out with honour, dignity and in peace. He also demanded to close dancing, musical programmes, dramas, and all types of matches and comedy programmes on the electronic media during Ashra-e-Muharram and called upon all government and non-government organizations to avoid Munkiraat and ensure the dignity of Muharramul Haram. He demanded from the government to issue directives from top to low Administration to implement the Code of Azadari announced by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. Shujaat Ali Bokhari said Karbala is the battlefield of righteousness and evil where the Imam Aali Muqaam (A.S.) and his near and dear ones have taught a lesson to the conscious people how to live and die in honour. That is why, he said, every nation pays homage to Hussain Ibne Ali (A.S.) in its own style. Syed Ala Haider Secretary, Syed Asad Ali Hasani Joint Secretary, Syed Ajmal Hassan Naqvi Deputy Secretary, and members of the Markazi Muharram Committee Azadari Cell also attended the meeting.
RAWALPINDI, January 18: Quaid-i-Millat-i- Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has called upon the countrymen to beware of the elements that fan hatred during Muharramul Haram and all schools of thought should preach their beliefs, ideologies and thoughts in a positive manner. Announcing a 18-point Code of Azadari in connection with the oncoming Muharramul Haram during a Press conference here on Thursday, he said the government should get the Anti-Terrorism Act implemented strictly, deploy army at sensitive places, keep a strict eye on the activities of banned organizations, Muharram Azadari Cells should be set up forthwith at Interior Ministry, Ministry of Religious Affairs and in all the four provinces including Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas. These Cells should be made public through media and like previous practice be directed to keep in touch with the TNFJ Muharram Committee Azadari Cell so as to resolve the possible problems of the Azadars and to thwart the designs of the enemy with mutual cooperation, he added. Agha Moosavi said that Azadari is our basic right and jugular vein on which neither our forefathers bargained nor we or our next generations are going to do so and no one will be allowed to create any hurdle in it. He called upon the Azadaran to carry out their Azadari rites in peace and with courage.
Replying a question about restriction on use of loudspeaker, he said restrictions on loudspeaker, Sunni and Shia ulema and zakireen is no solution to the problem rather action should be taken against the wrong use of the loudspeaker, and against those who instigate people and fan hatred. He lamented that banned terrorist organizations were there in all Peace Committees. Similarly, he said, the same elements are also visible in the Government and Opposition alliances. Answering another question, the TNFJ chief said whether it is the Samarrah tragedy or the drama of Saddams hanging, the objective is to highlight sectarianism contrary to the fact that there is no Shia-Sunni conflict all over the world including Iraq, and we would not allow the colonial powers to do so till we are alive. He said Saddam was neither Shia nor Sunni rather he was a Baathist (communist). He was declared as Kafir (atheist) and Mulhid by all Fuqaha including the Saudi Arabias Mufti-e-Azam Shaikh Baaz. He said Saddam had attacked Kuwait and Iran on American instigation and he massacred lakhs of innocent Shia, Sunni and Christian people including the biggest Sunni scholar Al-Samrai. He made it clear that those who are writing in Saddams favour are actually writing it in favour of the colonial powers and are promoting their interests. He posed a question to those who are presenting Saddam as Islams hero that did Saddam sought forgiveness from the Iraqi people till his death? Did he announce to refrain from his Baath beliefs? He said the God is Beneficent, Merciful, and Justifiable. He gave good news to seekers of forgiveness and did justice to those who kept on oppression on His creature. Agha Moosavi appealed all schools of thought to highlight the achievements of Imam Aali Muqaam (A.S.) and his near and dear ones; keep a strict eye on enemies of religion and motherland and beware of elements preaching hatred, enmity and biases and discourage such elements at every level.
He called upon the government to prohibit fanning differences and anarchy in the name of religion and Maktab and strictly enforce the Anti-Terrorism Law. The government should follow the May 21, 1985 Junejo-Moosavi agreement in connection with bringing out Azadari processions; the Administration should be directed to avoid spreading fear amongst Azadars and organisers and fully cooperate with them in Azadari rites so that Azadars could perform their Azadari rites in peace and no such law should be enforced that may encroach upon the rights of anyone; effective measures should be taken before hand to provide protection to Majalis-e-Aza and Azadari processions at sensitive places which should continue from 1st Muharram to the month of Rabiul Awwal and if any problem is faced at any place, then the procession should not be stopped to resolve the problem rather the procession should be allowed to reach its destination with full protection, the Muharram Committee Azadari Cell of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya would be ready to provide all types of cooperation in this connection. He said special arrangements for light and cleanliness should be made at the places of Majalis-e-Aza and on the routes of Matmi processions all over the country and load-shedding should not be carried out. The TNFJ chief advised the organisers of Majalis to make protective measures on self-help basis and remain fully alert so as to thwart every conspiracy of the ill-wishers of the nation and the country. He said ulema, waizeen and zakireen, in their addresses and speeches, should give priority to unity of Ummah, survival and integrity of religion and motherland; media should highlight the great sacrifices of Martyrs of Karbala in a positive and effective manner, and should avoid Munkiraat while the electronic media should suspend all types of music, and comedy programmes during the Ashra-e-Muharram. He called upon all political parties to suspend all types of political activities while Azadars should give priority to Azadari over everything; discipline and timings should be followed during Majalis-e-Aza and Matmi processions and any activity that may be contrary to the dignity of Azadari should be avoided; women should follow the seerat of Mukhadderat-e-Ismat and Taharat, and pious Sahaba Kubaar (R.A.); the dignity and honour of all Makatib and Masalak should be taken care of and respect of all should be kept in mind. He said the organisers of Majalis-e-Aza are fully responsible to follow the Code of Azadari and also enforce it on others while the powers that be should issue directives to follow Code of Azadari from lower level to high level. The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Hamid Moosavi made it clear that Azadari of Imam Mazloom (A.S.) is a universal protest of the oppressed against oppression and brutality and is our basic right and jugular vein, it is a source of our survival and the sign of human dignity. He said Nawasa-e-Rasool-us-Saqlain, Shahzada-e-Konain, Farzand-e-Ali (A.S.) and Batool (S.A.) presented the greatest sacrifice of history in the plains of Karbala along with his 72 near and dear ones and fulfilled the dream of Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S.). He enlightened the darkness hovering over the world of humanity through the enlightenment of guidance i.e. Shahadat and gave Basharat to founders of reality that an eternal morning has dawned on the horizon of hearts. Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) taught a lesson to root out oppression, brutality, suppression through Mazloomiyyat to promote the message of Tauheed (oneness) and Shariat-e-Rasool. when Yazid inducted himself in government about 1368 years ago, he not only refused to accept Wahi and Ilhaam but also wanted to turn Masnad-e-Nabi that was actually Masnad-e-Illahi into Taaj-e-Shahi and to deshape the religion of Allah and Shariat-e-Mustafvi that could only be confronted only and only through Shahadat. This could be done only by Hussain (A.S.) because he was the inheritor of goals of all Anbia. Therefore, he challenged Yazid saying that I am the inheritor of Representatives of Allah and, therefore, would not allow anyone to do so. Agha Moosavi said Imam Hussain (A.S.) came to Karbala as a Representative of Allah and not only provided protection to dignity of humanity by presenting the greatest sacrifice of himself and also that of his near and dear faithful ones rather gave it eternal survival. His proud Shahadat is a lesson for the oppressed world. Shahadat of Hussain (A.S.) is the headline of Kitaab-e-Hayat, humiliation of enemies of humanity, source of surprise for the world, and the angels are surprised on his patience, forbearance, courage and bravery. Anbia and Rusl were surprised over his patience, firmness, beauty and appearance, and were tearful on his thirst and helplessness. Daman-e-Gaiti is red in his mourning and Bait Allah is wearing black outfit in wailing so that Hussain (A.S.) may be remembered till eternity. Today remembering Hussain (A.S.) is the life-long wealth of the whole humanity and Azadari of the Mazloom is their life-long asset. The survival of humanity lay in Hussainiyyat that is why when the Muharram moon is sighted the whole humanity, without any discrimination on the basis on religion and Millat gets busy in Hussains (A.S.) mourning because Hussain (A.S.) belongs to all and Hussain (A.S.) belongs to Allah. The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Hamid Moosavi said that Hussain Ibne Ali (A.S.) was placed at the highest pedestal of knowledge, faith, sacrifice, firmness, courage, bravery, piousness, sincerity, and Zuhd-o-Taqwa. Quran and Sunnah also stand witness on his greatness. He said, we are remembering the Nawasa-e-Rasool-us-Saqlain (SAAW), his Ahle Bait Atahaar (AS), and sincere Ashaab (R.A.) in a situation where we are surrounded by Satanic forces from all around, oppressed nations and the Islamic World are confronted with oppression and brutality, life is being made difficult for Kashmiris and Palestinians, war is going on in Afghanistan and Iraq, pressure is being exerted on Syria and Iran, aggression is being used against Somalia. The international terrorist is bent upon using new tactics to cause harm to the oppressed nations and the Islamic World while Muslim States are confronted with differences and anarchy and the atheists are united. He said motherland Pakistan that came into being in the name of Islam through the joint struggle of all schools of thought, is an atomic power now by the grace of God. It has become mole in the eyes of colonial chief, Hindus and Zionists, they do not like its honour, dignity, integrity, development and solidarity, they keep the biggest weapon of fanning biases for which they consider Muharramul Haram a ripe time, therefore, we all are duty bound to thwart every plan of the Satanic forces by practising the unity-pronged principles and sayings of Ahle Bait Athaar (A.S.), and pious Sahaba Kubaar (R.A.) and provide satisfaction to the motherland and the whole humanity by observing the Ayyam-e-Aza with honour and respect under the Parcham-e-Hussainiyyat. CODE OF AZADARI 2007 1. All schools of thought should preach their beliefs and ideologies in a positive manner, and highlight the achievements of Imam Aali Muqaam (A.S.) and his near and dear ones. 2. The organisers of Majalis should make protective measures on self-help basis and remain fully alert so as to thwart every conspiracy of the ill-wishers of the nation and the country. 11. Ulema, waizeen and zakireen, in their addresses and speeches, should give priority to unity of Ummah, survival and integrity of religion and motherland. 12. The media should highlight the great sacrifices of Martyrs of Karbala in a positive and effective manner, and should avoid Munkiraat. The electronic media should suspend all types of music, and comedy programmes during the Ashra-e-Muharram. 13. All political parties should suspend all types of political activities and Azadars should give priority to Azadari over everything. 14. Discipline and timings should be followed during Majalis-e-Aza and Matmi processions and any activity that may be contrary to the dignity of Azadari should be avoided. 15. Women should follow the seerat of Mukhadderat-e-Ismat and Taharat, and pious Sahaba Kubaar (R.A.). 16. The dignity and honour of all Makatib and Masalak should be taken care of and respect of all should be kept in mind. 17. The organisers of Majalis-e-Aza are fully responsible to follow the Code of Azadari and also enforce it on others while the powers that be should issue directives to follow Code of Azadari from lower level to high level.
