Recitation of Ziarat of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa
\n(peace of Allah be upon him and his Aal) and Ziarat of Ameer-ul-
\nmomeeneen Hazrat Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S in this night is desirable (
\nmustahab) (mafatihul Jinnan and other Kutub-e-Adiya may be consulted for
\nZiaraat)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nFollowing are the some aamaal of the Ist day of Rabi-ul-
\nAwwal<\/b> as reported by some Ulema: <\/p>\n\n- To keep fast;\n<\/li>\n
- Recite the Ziarat of Holy prophet ( peace of Allah be upon him and his
\nAal);\n<\/li>\n - Recite the Ziarat of Ameer-ul-momeneen Hazrat Ali ibne Abi Talib
\n(A.S). <\/li>\n<\/ul>\nThe 11th successor of Holy prophet Hazrat Muhammad (peace of Allah
\nbe upon him and his progeny), and the father of 12th Imam Hazrat Saheb-al-
\nAsr( the controller of the era) Ajja Lallahu Ta’ala Farajahu, Hazrat Imam
\nHasan Askari bin Hazrat Imam Ali Naqi <\/b>(A.S) was martyred on 8th of Rabi-
\nul-Awwal in the year 260 A.H<\/b> AT that time he was 28 years of age . His
\n(A.S) only son Hazrat saheb-al-Asr Imam mehdi Ajja lalahu ta’ala farajahu,
\nwho was at that time 5 years of age, under took the washing and shrouding
\nof his holy body and performed his funeral prayer. He was buried in his
\nhouse at samra, the house in which his (A.S) father Imam Ali Naqi (A.S)
\nwas buried . His Holy mausoleum is in Samra, Iraq.<\/p>\n
Ziarat of Hazrat Imam Hasan Askari (A.S) should be recited in this
\nday.<\/p>\n
(Kutub-e-Adiya may be consulted for Ziarat)<\/p>\n
9th of Rabi-ul-Awwal is the day of glory<\/b>, honour, dignity and
\nblessings . It is a great eid day named “Eid-e-Shuja” and “Eid-e-Zahra (A.S).
\nmany hadith have been reported in its merit (fazeelat). This is the day when
\nAhle Bayt-e-Rasool (peace of Allah be upon them) brought their soag(
\nmourning ) to an end as Hazrat Mukhtar Saqafi (blessings of Allah be upon
\nhim) took the revenge from Qatlaan-e-Imam Hussain (A.S) by killing them
\nall in the same manner as they did, and then he sent the heads of Qatlaan-e-
\nImam Hussain (A.S) {(the murderers of Imam Hussain) including ibne ziyad
\nand umer bin sa’ad umer bin sa’ad was the 1st to shoot the arrow towards
\nkhayaam-e-Hussaini (Hussaini camps) and then proudly said: “Be witness
\nthat me the 1st to shoot the arrow.”} to Beemaar-e-Karbala Hazrat Imam
\nZain-ul- Abedeen (A.S) who then paid sajda-e- shukr (thanking prostration)
\nto Allah and said “thanks for Allah , for He took revenge from our enemies”
\nand prayed for Hazrat mukhtar (blessings of Allah be upon him) in these
\nwords: “Allah will reward mukhtar good” (Bahar-ul-Anwaar vol: 45, Jame-
\nur- Ruwaat vol:02)\n<\/p>\n
\nAs Hazrat Imam Hasan Askari (A.S) was martyred on 8th of Rabi-ul-
\nAwwal<\/b>, so 9th of Rabi-ul-Awwal is the 1st day of Hazrat Imam mehdi,
\nSaheb-al-Asr-e-Wazzaman’s (Ajja lallahu farajahu) Imamate. And due to
\nthis, this day achieves more heights of honour, glory and excellence. He,
\nImam-e-Zamana Ajja lallahu farajahu was born in the night of sha’baan 15
\n(the night between 14th and 15th of sha’baan ) in the city of samra in Iraq in
\nthe year 225 A.H. He is the Imam of our era and Hadith of Holy Prophet
\n(peace of Allah be upon him and his progeny) goes:\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

“One who dies without knowing the Imam of his time, dies a death of
\nignorance (jahalat). Hazrat Imam Mehdi, al-Qa’em, saheb-al-asre wazzaman
\n(Ajja lallahu ta’ala farajahu ) is our Imam, Imam of our era and as the verse
\n71 of sura Bani Israel says:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

“(Remember) The day (of judgement) when we shall call every
\npeople with their Imam”. We will be called and presented with our Imam on
\nresurrection day.\n<\/p>\n
Friends of Muhammad and Aale Muhammad (peace of Allah be
\nupon them) should celebrate this day with great happiness.<\/p>\n
\nSome Aamaal of this day, as reported by ulema are as under:<\/p>\n
\n- To wear new and fine dress;\n<\/li>\n
- Perfume oneself ;\n<\/li>\n
- Give feast to momeneen;\n<\/li>\n
- Cause them (momeneen) happy;\n<\/li>\n
- Greet each other;\n<\/li>\n
- Recite Ziarat-e-Imam-e-Zamana (Ajja Lallahu Ta’ala farajahu)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
\nThis glorious day is being announced by Mukhtar force Pakistan, a
\nsubsidiary wing of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan and which
\nprotects Sha’air Allah regardless of any differences, to be observed as
\n“Youm-e-mukhtar” mukhtar day through out the country.\n<\/p>\n
\nRabi-ul Awwal 12<\/b> is (bena barawayat-e-mukhtalefa) is the
\nbirthday of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (peace of Allah be
\nupon him and his Aal). A special prayer to be offered in this day has been
\nreported which is as under:<\/p>\n\n- \nOffer two rakaat prayer (salat\/namaz): In 1st rakat recite sura-e-kaferoon
\nthrice after sura-e-Hamd while in the 2nd rakat recite sura-e-Ikhlaas thrice
\nafter sura-e-Hamd.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\nIn the same day Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace of Allah be upon him and
\nhis progeny) arrived in medina al- Munawwara.\n<\/p>\n
\nSheikh has said that Bani marvan’s rule was also terminated on 12th Rabi-ul-
\nAwwal in the year 32 A.H.<\/p>\n
\nOn 14th of Rabi-ul-Awwal<\/b>, Yazeed bin mawiya (curse of Allah be
\nupon them and may the pit of hell be for them) died of pleurisy in Hooraan
\nin the year 64 A.H and entered the hell.<\/p>\n
\nYazeed (curse of Allah be upon him) after he seated on caliphate seeked the
\nallegiance from Nawasa-e-Rasool-Ussaqalyn (the grand son of Holy
\nprophet) Hazrat Imam Hussain(A.S) replied him “One like me can not take
\nthe oath of Allegiance of one like you”.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n‘He gave his head but did not put His hand into the hand of Yazeed.
\nAfter the wrongful killings of Imam Hussain (A.S) and his 72 near and dear
\nones, the Governor of Medina Amr Bin Saeed (curse of Allah be upon him)
\nraised the houses of Ahl-e-bayt-e-Athaar (Holy progeny of Rasool Peace of
\nAllah be upon Them) situated in Medina.<\/p>\n
\n17th Night (Night between Rabi-ul-Awal 16 and 17) is the night of
\nblessing<\/b> as (according to authoritative reports) it is the birth night of
\nKhatem-ul-Mursaleen (seal of Prophets), father of Syeda-Tun-Nisa-
\nilaalameen (mistress of ladies of the worlds) Syeda Fatima Tuz Zahra (A.S)
\nand the grand father of Shabab-e-Ahlil Jannah (Masters of the youths of
\nheaven) Hazrat Imam Hasan and Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S).\n<\/p>\n
This is, as quoted Syed, also the night of Holy Prophet’s accession
\n(bena ba rawayat) about which Holy Quran said:\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

“Glory be to Him who made His Abd go by night from the sacred
\nmosque (Masjid-e-Haram) to the Farthest Mosque (Masjid-e-Aqsa) whose
\nprecincts we have blessed \u0085.( sura-e-bani Israel).\n<\/p>\n
\n17th day of Rabi-ul-Awwal is that blessed and honoured day when
\nHabib-e-Khuda (favourite of Allah) Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad-e-
\nMustafa son of Hazrat Abdullah and Hazrat Amena (peace of Allah be upon
\nthem) was born in Makkah Mu’azzama<\/b> on Friday at the time of fajr
\n(but this should be in mind that He is the proof of\n<\/p>\n

\u0085 His (Prophet) father Hazrat
\nAbdullah (A.S) died before his birth. Holy Prophet’s grand Father Abdul
\nMuttalib (A.S) Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (peace of Allah be upon
\nhim and his Aal) was being cared, brought up and supported by his (Holy
\nProphet) uncle Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S) the protector of Resalat and father
\nof Maula-e-Ka’enaat Hazrat Ali (A.S).<\/p>\n
\nIn the same day the 6th successor of Holy prophet<\/b> (peace of Allah
\nbe upon him and his Aal), saadiq-e-Aal-e-Muhammad Hazrat Imam Jafer-e-
\nSaadiq(A.S) the son of Hazrat Imam Muhammad Baqir (A.S) and Hazrat
\numm-e-farwa (A.S) was born in the holy city of medina in the year 83 A.H.\n<\/p>\n
\nThe birth of Hazrat Imam Jafer-e-Saadiq (A.S)<\/b> on the same day
\nincreased the merit, dignity and honour of this blessed day.<\/p>\n
Many aamal of this day have been reported,
\nSome of them are:<\/p>\n
\n- To take bath;\n<\/li>\n
- \tWear new dress;\n<\/li>\n
- Greet each other;\n<\/li>\n
- Give charity;\n<\/li>\n
- Keep fast; it is reported that keeping the fast in this day is equal to one
\nyear’s fast in reward and this in one of those four days in the year, in which
\nfasting is distinguished.\n<\/li>\n - Recite Ziarat of Holy prophet ( peace of Allah be upon him and his
\nprogeny);\n<\/li>\n - Recite Ziarat of Ameer-ul-momeneen Hazrat Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S);\n<\/li>\n
- Recite Ziarat-e-Jamia;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
(mafatihul Jinnan and kutub-e-Adiya may be consulted for Ziaraat)
\noffer two rakaat prayer (salat), in each rakat recite sura-e-Qadr 10
\ntimes,
\nsura-e-Ikhlaas 10 times after sura Hamd and then recite the following dua’a:\u00a0<\/p>\n

\nThe week from Rabi-ul Awwal 12 to Rabi-ul-Awwal 17 is being observed
\nthrough out the country as Hafta-e-Wahdat-o-Akhuwwat (Unity and
\nfraternity week) as announced by Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan
\n(TNFJ) to promote unity among Muslims and to show this practically that\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

On the 18th of Rabi-ul-Awwal Hazrat Umm-e-Kulsoom
\n(A.S)<\/b> the daughter of Syeda-tun-Niza-ilaalameen Hazrat Fatima Tuz
\nZahra (A.S) and Ameer -ul-momeneen Syed -ul-Awsiya Hazrat Ali ibne
\nAbi Talib (A.S) was born in the year 08 A.H. She (A.S) accompanied her
\nbrother Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S) in his journey to karbala. Her Holy
\nshrine is in Syria.<\/p>\n
Rabi-ul-Awwal 26, (bena Ba rawayat-e-mukhtalefa) <\/b>is
\nthat grevious day of the year when momin-e-Quresh, protector of Resalat
\nHazrat Abu Talib (A.S) the uncle of Holy prophet Muhammad (peace of
\nAllah be upon him and his progeny) was died. He was that blessed tree
\nunder the shade of which Islam and prophet of Islam took shelter. This is
\nwhat Allah has said in the Holy Quran.\n<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n“Did He (Allah) not find you an orphan and give you shelter?
\nHe gave strength to divine mission, Hazrat Abu Talib and Hazrat Khadeeja
\ntul kubra (peace of Allah be upon them) were those two great personalities
\nin the world who never left the prophet alone in the hour of need. The entire
\nuniverse is witness over Hazrat Abu Talib’s love for Holy prophet Hazrat
\nMuhammad (peace and his Aal) and vice versa. That’s why Hazrat Abu
\nTalib (A.S) amongst men has the singular honour in the whole world that
\nHoly prophet termed the year of his death as “Aam-ul-Huzn” (year of grief).
\nThis spirit shows that respect Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S) enjoyed from the Holy
\nprophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his Aal).\n<\/p>\n
TNFJ announces this day to be observed as youm-ul-Huzn (day of
