\n QUAID TEHREEK NAFAZ-E-FIQH-E-JAFARIYA PAKISTAN
\n In connection with 3-day
\n Fortieth of Martyrs of Ashoora
\n incidents
Karbala, Kazmain, Quetta, Phalia<\/b><\/font><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n

From the day one till this day, Prophets, Messengers, Awliya,
\nSaleheen, and selected people of Allah in all eras have been too desirous of
\nMartyrdom. Ergo, nearly 70 Muslims kissed martyrdom in the Battle of Ohd (3rd
\nHijri), while Commander of Faithful Hazrat Ali ibn-e-Abi Talib (A.S.) got wounds
\non his holy body so he expressed his desire for martyrdom in the respected court
\nof holy Prophet (SAW). Then holy Prophet (SAW) said:<\/p>\n

\u0623\u0628\u0634\u0631 \u0627\u0646 \u0634\u0647\u0627\u062f\u0629 \u0645\u0646 \u0648\u0631\u0627\u0626\u0643
\n<\/font><\/b>\u0093I give you glad tidings of Martyrdom.\u0094<\/i><\/p>\n

Thus Maula Ali (A.S.) remained waiting for Martyrdom for 36 years.
\nHe is the first and the last personality in the world who declared while
\nembracing martyrdom:<\/p>\n

\u0641\u0632\u062a \u0628\u0631\u0628 \u0627\u0644\u0643\u0639\u0628\u0629
\n<\/font><\/b>\u0093By the Lord of Ka\u0092abah, I have succeeded.\u0094<\/i><\/p>\n

So to say that martyrdom is a glad tidings and a key of success and
\nelevation. There is no death most pretty and greatest save martyrdom. In the
\nBattle of Ohd, some of the Muslims said as they were afraid and short-hearted:<\/p>\n

\n<\/font>\u0093Had we were on truth we would not have been slain here (like that).\u0094<\/i><\/p>\n

\n

\u0093(Those who were martyred in the battle field, they were not
\n slain for they were not on truth, but because this was the will of Allah that
\n the slain take rest on the bed of martyrdom \u0096 Tafsir al-Mizan) Had you stayed
\n in your homes, those of you who were destined to be slain would have gone to
\n their graves nevertheless.\u0094<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Commander of Faithful Hazrat Ali ibn-e-Abi Talib (A.S.) says that
\nhe who runs from the battle, his life does not get longer, neither it is a
\nhurdle in the time of death. That is why a Masoom (A.S.) says: \u0093O Allah! Make my
\nlife successful and give me the death of martyrdom.\u0094<\/p>\n

Hazrat Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S.) says: \u0093By God every one of us is slain and
\nmartyr.\u0094
\nMartyrdom is the zenith of loftiness of humanity, that is why a saying of Masoom
\n(A.S.) goes: \u0093Nothing is most sweeter than martyrdom, to be slain is our habit
\nand martyrdom is a blessing for us.\u0094<\/p>\n

Holy Prophet (SAW) and his Ahl-e-Bait (A.S.) taught their followers in this
\nmanner that they never care for wealth and even their lives, while to utter word
\nof truth in front of oppressor is their habit. They say truth even on spear head
\nfor elevation of Islam and survival of Shariah. They, with great desire and
\nwillingness, consider colourful death a blessing for them, and struggle for
\nprotection of ideologies a worship. <\/p>\n

The oppressed nations and the Islamic World are at present confronted with
\noppression and brutality of international colonial powers and allied forces, and
\nthere is no region spared of Taghooti aggression in one form or the other
\nupsetting the peace and tranquillity of the whole world. Kashmir and Palestine
\nare under the Taghooti clutches for more than a half century, Afghanistan has
\nbeen targeted in the name of Usama and turned into \u0093Khofistan\u0094 but Usama could
\nnot found even then, Iraqi people were targeted in the name of Saddam and in the
\ngarb of unearthing weapons of mass destruction. <\/p>\n

After that, a new history of oppression and brutality was written by abusing the
\nIraqi prisoners to the extent that Abu Gharib Jail was shattered owing to
\nintensity of oppression and inhuman brutality meted out to Iraqi prisoners, the
\npictures issued of these brutal acts unveiled the so-called claims of America
\nand her allies viz. independence, freedom and human rights. <\/p>\n

Today the international opinion is protesting against US President Bush for
\ninhuman oppression and America and her allies were forced to beg pardon but
\ndespite that America was still following the non-cooperative policy and is using
\nall types of tactics to maintain her interests and supremacy of her agents in
\nMiddle East and South Asia, biases are being promoted, seeds of hatred are being
\nsown and different States and Masalik are being pitched against each other,
\nenmities are being increased but she faced tough resistance everywhere. <\/p>\n

If we desire to correct the Ummah, seek their welfare and survival from threats
\nthen the only solution is to accelerate our practical struggle by following the
\nrighteous path and consider the problems of all oppressed and have-nots as
\nproblems and difficulties of them all. <\/p>\n

Allah says in Ayah 75 of Surah An-Nisa:<\/p>\n

\n \u0093And why should you not fight for the cause of Allah and for the helpless
\n men, women, and children who say: \u0091Deliver us, Lord, from this city of

\u0093No doubt Jihad is a gate from gates of
\n Paradise\u0085 so he who turns his face from it with disgust, Allah disgraces him\u0085\u0094<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Ayah 39 of Surah Al-Hajj says:<\/p>\n

\n <\/font><\/b>\u0093Permission (to carry out Jihad) is hereby given to those who
\n are attacked, because they have been wronged.\u0094<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The history stands witness that Islam always condemned aggression
\nand adopted defensive strategy.<\/p>\n

This year, the oppressed people of Karbala-e-Moalla, Kazmain, Quetta, and Phalia
\nwere targeted of suppression and brutality that is an act of open aggression and
\nnaked terrorism.<\/p>\n

We protest against this oppression as well as every atrocities being committed
\nagainst any oppressed including that of US-led collation forces against Iraqi
\ndetainees, and while condemning it severely reiterate our resolve to fully
\nsupport the struggle of the oppressed world. We demand from all international
\norganisations including the United Nations, particularly the International Court
\nof Justice to take notice of these brutalities if they care for the protection
\nof human dignity and justice and fair-play, put all oppressors including the
\nAmerican President Bush and his allies Tony Blair and chiefs of their armies
\ninto the trial box, arrange pull out of allied forces from occupied States. If
\nthis was not done, then oppressed nations and the Islamic World would be
\njustified to understand that all oppressions being carried out the world over
\nare being carried out under the umbrella and patronage of international
\norganisations. <\/p>\n

International organisations are under the obligation to ensure the honour and
\ndignity of the holy places on the Iraqi soil. Keeping peace in the occupied area
\nis the responsibility of the occupation forces but the allied forces interfered
\nthemselves and committed desecration and aggression against holy places that is
\ncondemnable. We demand to ensure the honour, dignity of the holy places, Maraje
\nUzzam, Hoza Ilmia, and life and wealth of the people. The honour of Muslim heads
\nof States should be awakened otherwise it would be too late.<\/p>\n

We call upon the government to initiate Anti-Terrorism Act for completely
\nrooting out terrorism, bring forth the Enquiry Commission Report of all
\nincidents including the Ashoora Day incident that took place in Quetta and give
\nthe culprits exemplary punishment, stop the restricted groups to operate with
\nnew names and lodge protest with their patron States on government level. The
\npeople should recognise their friends and foes and remain fully alert, express
\nhatred against those who fan differences in schools of thought, and against
\nenemies of Islam and Pakistan. <\/p>\n

While paying homage to Martyrs of Ashoora Day incidents on the occasion of their
\nChehlum, we resolve not to let the blood of martyrs go waste, continue peaceful
\nstruggle for achieving high objectives, keep continue condemnation of
\naggression, oppression, and terrorism at every level, and priority will be given
\nto the interests of the nation, country, and Islam over all other things.<\/p>\n
