\n\nAlmighty Allah Says:<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

(No doubt, those who keep Iman and who have performed pious deeds, for them Allah the Merciful will create love)<\/i><\/p>\n

As indicated in a Hadis that when Allah makes a pious person His beloved, He asks Jabriel (A.S.) that I love so and so person and you should also love him. Therefore, Jabriel (A.S.) starts loving that person and makes an announcement that Allah loves so and so person, therefore all those who live in the skies also start loving him and then his acceptance and respect has also been made binding on earth – Sahih Bokhari, Kitaab Al-Adab, Baab Al-Maqt Min Allah Ta’ala<\/i>

The above-mentioned Quranic Ayah and Hadis indicate that keeping close to Allah is rewarded by love. Keeping devotion and expressing love with the pious persons of the Merciful and Beneficence is a good and decent activity and the Allah has promised to His pious persons that He will inculcate their love in the heart of people. Love and devotion is a situation linked with heart and body and there are some particular norms and customs for those who are wise to express the same while Muslim Ummah that has the honour to be called “Ummat-e-Wast” has adopted that method in line with the religion and Shariat. Considering the signs of Aulia Allah a blessing from amongst the signs of servitude is the solid prove of heartfelt and spiritual love. Then those holy personalities love of those has been binding for the whole Ummah, why respecting their signs would not be an obligation then and those holy personalities are those for whom Allah says in Surah Shoorah:<\/p>\n

(Prophet, tell them that I do not ask for any reward but keep love with my near and dear ones)<\/i><\/p>\n

Like these personalities are respectable, similarly their signs, graves and shrines are also respectable. Respect is not Shirk (polytheism) but worship of Ghair-Allah is Shirk (polytheism). Worship is only for Allah and respect of Sha’a’ir Allah is binding. As Allah says:<\/p>\n

(One who respects and honours Sha’a’ir Allah, surely it is from the piety of the
\nhearts<\/i>)<\/p>\n

Respect for Sha’a’ir Allah has been termed the essence of piousness while piousness is the Mirage of being near to Allah. Sha’a’ir is plural of Shaeerah that means sign. Therefore the signs of religions have been termed Sha’a’ir Allah that establish the identity of a Muslim. Similarly, Safa and Marwah (mountains) are also called Sha’a’ir Allah because Muslims perform Sa’ai in between them on the occasion of Hajj (pilgrimage) and Umrah (off-seasonal pilgrimage). So much so the animals to be sacrificed are also declared Sha’a’ir Allah and their respect has been termed piousness of heart. An Ayah from the Holy Quran says:<\/p>\n

(One who respects and honours Hurmaat Allah, it is good for him near Allah)<\/i><\/p>\n

That means that respect of Hurmaat Allah and Sha’a’ir Allah is pious ness and a good omen too. Imam Fakharuddin Raazi says that Hurmat means a thing disrespect of which is not Halaal (legal) and all those things disrespect of which is Haraam (illegal) is Ayah and sign that gives Ma’arfat of Allah. Therefore, Anbia Karaam, Ahle Bait Athaar, and pious Sahaba Kibaar are the greatest Hurmaat. Their respect was binding during their lifetime. Similarly their signs are also respectable because their disrespect is not allowed. The companions of the Holy Prophet (SAW) used to respect every thing that was linked with the Holy Prophet (SAW). So much so that the personality like Hazrat Yaqub (A.S.) touched the outfit of Hazrat Yousuf (A.S.) and his eyesight was restored. A saying of Hazrat Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) goes: “When the Holy Prophet (SAW) was buried, Fatima Zahra (S.A.) went near his grave, remained there for some time, took a handful of earth from the grave and touched it with her eyes, and
\nwept” (Wafa Al-Wafa: Vol 4<\/font><\/b>).<\/p>\n

Fatima Zahra (A.S.) used to visit the grave of her uncle Hazrat Hamza (A.S.), offer her prayers there and weep (Mustadrak Hakim: First Vol<\/font><\/b>). We have come to know that giving respect to Sha’a’ir Allah and Hurmaat Allah is actually an act of piousness and an act to consider meaningful values great, dissemination of good habits that were in plenty with the Khasan-e-Khuda (selected persons of Allah). Muslims would have also gained a high place in the universe today had they followed these set examples. On the contrary other nations were not only keeping the signs of their elders intact but are busy in keeping the dignity and honour of the same day and night. But Muslims the world over could not maintain the dignity and honour of the signs of Allah or the respect of the holy places and holy graves the biggest example of which is bulldozing of Jannatul Mualla and Jannatul Baqee (where
\nKhanwada-e- Risalat, Ahle Bait Athaar, Ummahatul Momineen and Sahaba Kibaar were buried) on 8th Shawwal Al-Mukarram in 1926. This way the great desecration was committed that was commensurate to the desecration of Holy Quran and Sunnah.<\/p>\n

These holy graves and holy places are hurling an open challenge to the dignity of the Muslims at large for the last 75 years. Muslim community the world over should keep in mind that if we are justified in demanding independence of the oppressed nations, achievement of Al-Quds Al-Sharif, reconstruction of Babri Masjid, and restoration of Dargah Hazrat Bal & Shah Hamadan from the Zionist, Hindu and colonial powers, then they should also get the dignity of holy graves restored demanding reconstruction of these Mazars (shrines) at Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Mualla so as to create coherence in their words and deeds proving on the world that Muslims are same from within and without and the issue of Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Mualla does not belong to any Maktab, country or Maslak but it is a matter of honour and dignity of the whole Islamic World rather that of human dignity.<\/p>\n

The United Nations that is claimant of representing human rights and the world nations should take up this issue while for OIC it is an obligation as claimant of representing Muslims the world over to force the Saudi rulers to reconstruct the holy graves of Mashaheer-e-Islam. Moreover, we strongly demand from the Government of Pakistan to exert pressure on the Saudi government on diplomatic level, as envisaged in the May 21, 1985 Junejo-Moosavi agreement, in this connection because Islam and eminence of Islam is our sole objective.<\/p>\n
