‘Following of fuqaha, maraje must as per saying of Imam Askari(P)’… Hafta-e-Ehteram-e-Marjaiyat ends

RAWALPINDI, April 18: The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that if all schools of thought desire to protect their honour and dignity then they should ensure the dignity and honour of Fuqaha, Mara’aje Azzam and Ulema Karaam.

These views were expressed by him while delivering special address on the concluding day of Hafta-e-Ehteram-e-Marja’aiyyat (Week of respect to Marjaiyaat).

He said the religion Allah gave to Anbia and Mursaleen for preaching is Islam and in the plains of Khum-e-Ghadeer, the prophet (SAAW) delivered a speech from a heighted pulpit, raised the hand of Ali Ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) and said: Ali (A.S.) is the Maula of those, I am the Maula of whom. The Zaat-e-Illahi reacting on this announcement gave certificate to the Rasool (SAAW) that the religion has been completed today.

Agha Moosavi said Nabi-e-Akram (SAAW) preached the religion while Ali (A.S.), Aulad-e-Ali (A.S.) and Batool (S.A.) saved it from any changes. One of those personalities, he added, is that of Hazrat Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S.) who is the greatest leader of the world of Marja’aiyyat and Imam-e-Huda. Hazrat Abu Abdullah Jafar Al-Sadiq (A.S.) was from amongst Sadaat Ahle Bait (A.S.). He was founder of greatest Jafariya University in Madinah where more than four thousand students achieved Uloom-e-Fiqh and Uloom-e-Islami and remained busy in research of his sayings afterwards.

His father Imam Muhammad Baqir (A.S.) remained busy in preaching and disseminating the religion of Islam, Shariat-e-Muhammadi, and Afkaar-e-Alvi. He said Hazrat Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S.) 400 principles are carried by our four books called Kutab-e-Araba’a i.e. Usool-e-Kafi, Mann La Yahzar Al-Faqih, Tehzib Al-Ahkaam, and Al-Istabsaar. The principles were achieved by the Mara’aje, Fuqaha, renowned Ulema and writers directly from him and they included Abaan Ibne Tughlib, Zararah Bin Aaeen, Imran Bin Aaeen, Abu Baseer, Muhammad Ibne Ali, Momin Taaq, Hisham Bin Salim, Kumiyat Bin Asadi, Mufzil Bin Umru. He said Abaan Ibne Tughlib copied more than 30,000 Ahadees while Muhammad Bin Muslim copies 16,000 Ahadees.

The TNFJ chief said in Arabic, Hadees is termed as discussion, new thing, news, and utterance while in Maktab-e-Tashayyo the deeds, sayings, and conditions of the Rasool (SAAW), Hazrat Fatima Zahra (S.A.) and Aaimma Isna Ashr are called Hadees and the Rasool (SAAW) has ordered to consult Quran and Ahle Bait (A.S.) in every era, therefore, these are our Mara’aje, Quran and Ahadees are the supreme centres of commandments and fiqh. That is why Rasool (SAAW) and Ahle Bait are Shareheen of Quran.

He said they are Maraje – Nawab-e-Arbaa, authors of Kutab-e-Arbaa, Sheikh Mufid, Syed Razi, Syed Murtaza Alam Al-Huda, Allama Hilli and every era’s greatest fuqaha and ulema-e-haqqa who spread Quran and Ahle Bait to every country, city, house and individual. They bore hardships of imprisonment, confronted dictators and kissed martyrdom as a punishment i.e. Shaheed-e-awal, shaheed-e-sani, shaheed-e-salis, shaheed-e-rabay. Every individual belonging to Maktab-e-Tashayyo should be thankful to them; they are Moseneen-e-shiite and jafariyat (those who did good to shiite) whom we have to follow.

A saying of Imam Hasan Askari (AS) – the respected father of Imam ul Asr goes:

from among fuqaha (jurists) he who protects his self, goes against his desires and obeys his Maula (master), people should follow him – (ref. Wasael-ush-Shiia, chapter 10, book Al-Qaza Sheikh Hurr Ameli).

Those people who claim to be the followers of Ahadees, they must have known that it is hadees!!

He quoted a saying of Hazrat Imam Muhammad Baqir (A.S.) that goes: Oh, Abaan! Deliver fatwa by sitting in Masjid-e-Madina, I love personalities like you from amongst my devotees who deliver fatwa. The Imam (A.S.) himself asked the Mara’aje to give fatwa so that people may follow the same. He said the Masoomin (A.S.) made it clear that people who are not aware of the commandments of religion and Shariat could consult with Mara’aje for their problems.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Moosavi said that motherland Pakistan came into being in the name of Islam. When a dictator tried to introduce a particular fiqh violating the principles of Islam, the first voice against it was raised from Ali Masjid. The Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya that came into being to defend the interests of Millat-e-Jafariya and today, by the Grace of God, Islam is the official religion of Pakistan and as per Pakistan’s Constitution the clarification of Quran and Sunnah for every fiqh would be recognized in line with that fiqh. In other words, Fiqh-e-Jafariya has been recognized legally.

He said the international colonial powers, Hindus and Zionists are sabotaging the Two-Nation Theory and were utilizing all their energy to divide the Islamic States on the basis of Maslak. Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya always thwarted their designs and would continue to do so in future, he concluded.
